Welcome to the play-by-play commentary of the Premier League clash between West Brom and Aston Villa! My name is Sumit Rehal and I'll be taking you through the anticipated West Midlands Derby.
A minute's applause before kick-off for legendary West Brom and former England striker Derek Kevan, who passed away just over two weeks ago at the age of 77.
N'Zogbia has been having one of the best games of his Villa career having played a part in every threatening Villa attack. Paul Lambert will be very satisfied with his squad's display and will hope for more of the same in the second half.
The half-time team talk will however not be so calm from Steve Clarke, who will be commanding his team to play with more urgency.
West Brom did a fantastic job to recover from their dismal display in the first-half. Steve Clarke gathered his squad together and they came out fighting for round two. It was a game of two halves with Benteke, Agbonlahor and N'Zogbia linking up together in the first half followed by Lukaku, Odemwingie and Brunt feeding off each other in the second.
Paul Lambert will be kicking himself for playing the game too safe when the hosts got a goal back. N'Zogbia was taken off following his dazzling display in order to create more of a structure for the visitors. However this gave West Brom freedom to charge forward and Villa were not able to counter through the wings and ulitmately conceded when the pressure was piled on.
