FT: PSG 2-0 Marseille - PSG go three points clear at the top of Ligue 1. That's it from me tonight, a cracking game - from me, Mohammed Ali, good night!
90' +1
Z. Ibrahimović has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by J. Ménez.
GOAL! PSG 2-0 MARSEILLE! Their second shot on target. Zlatan Ibrahimovic bags his 22nd league goal of the season, after superb work from Menez, with Beckham involved. Ibrahimovic with a lucky goal there.
89'
PSG have had one shot on target tonight, with Marseille winning possession count with 56% of it. TWO MINUTES ADDED ON.
88'
VALBUENA! The cross goes narrowly over. After being afforded the pace, he has Lucas and Barton to try and find at the back post, but he's put it behind the goal! A minute plus stoppage time left.
87'
Jallet and Beckham combine with Menez down that right, as the snowstorm continues in south-western Paris. Mandanda keeps an easy save, and throws the ball out, instigating a counter-attack with Sougou.
86'
FANNI! What a strike, and again Sirigu denies Marseille, with an unorthodox punching save. Chantome gives the ball away, but PSG hurriedly clear the ball. How are they even ahead?!
85'
PSG look noticeably lethargic and static, as Marseille continue to build pace. They have really impressed tonight, and they are really going for it.
84'
J. Ménez enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
83'
Final PSG substitution - Lucas Moura, again impressive, off for Jeremy Menez.
82'
VALBUENA! Unbelievably wide. That one appeared to have crept in. Marseille are taking the game to PSG!
Minute
Description
81'
Chantome denies Ayew, who has taken a beating tonight. The crowd are unbelievably frustrated at the level of play Marseille are enjoying here. Valbuena gives the ball away, can PSG put this to bed?
80'
Ayew with another cross down the left, and Gignac unable to get into position. Beckham to Ibrahimovic, as Lavezzi gives the ball away. Marseille counter through Sougou.
78'
Gignac fails at the back, as he attempts to get past Alex, as PSG give the ball away again. Sirigu holds on, and well. 13 minutes, and it's set to be a grandstand finish.
77'
Reliably informed that Beckham becomes the 400th PSG player in history, as he is welcomed to Ligue 1 with a foul. Marseille meanwhile, still in search of an equaliser.
76'
C. Chantôme enters the game and replaces M. Verratti.
M. Sougou enters the game and replaces F. Kadir.
D. Beckham enters the game and replaces J. Pastore.
Clement Chantome replaces Marco Verratti and Foued Kadir goes off for fellow January signing Modou Sougou.
75'
BECKHAM COMES ON FOR PASTORE! A massive roar goes up, as he slots into the central midfield role. Victoria Beckham looks on with that face, as Beckham replaces the impressive Javier Pastore.
74'
AYEW! Fantastic header, and a brilliant cross by Valbuena there. Sirigu and Armand clear it off the line. What a chance. What a chance.
73'
IT'S BECKHAM TIME! The former England captain strips off and listens attentively to a member of the coaching staff. Clement Chantome will come on also.
72'
Verratti attempts to pin-point the Ibrahimovic but the touch falls easily towards Lucas Mendes instead who clears. It's 18 minutes left on the clock, can Marseille equalise?!
71'
Valbuena takes a free-kick on the edge of the area, but once more - it fails to seriously trouble the Parisian defence. PSG attempt to break, but Romao hauls down Lavezzi. Free-kick to the hosts.
69'
LAVEZZI! What a chance. What a chance, and it's gone begging. Lavezzi roars towards the byline as he holds off Ibrahimovic, in acres of space, but cannot find the space. Superb flowing move, but then again - it really should've been 2-0.
66'
Ancelotti watches on pensively, as Beckham continues to warm up. Meanwhile, Fanni's pass into a slightly fading Kadir is a little short. PSG need a second goal to silence the visitors.
65'
Well, David Beckham again gets off the bench to go and warm up, as wife Victoria watches on in the stands looking absolutely cold. 25 minutes to go, will Beckham become the 27th Englishman to feature in Ligue 1?
64'
IBRAHIMOVIC! Lashed wide, after a Lucas pass. Pastore again in the thick of things. The pass back into the big Swede just flies narrowly wide.
63'
Ooohhh, N'Koulou's lucky to stay on. Immediately after, he takes down Lucas Moura - but the ref ticks him off, for the last time it would seem. Free-kick by Ibrahimovic saved by Mandanda.
62'
N. Nkoulou gets yellow.
PENALTY?! NO! N'Koulou is instead booked after tumbling. Fredy Fautrel immediately points to what everyone thought was the spot, but tells the player to get up.
61'
GIGNAC! Audacious strike, and a beautiful scissor kick tipped over by Sirigu. The pressure is reaching fever pitch here as Sirigu is again touching the ball over.
60'
Approaching the hour mark here in the Parc des Princes. Kadir's cross turned behind by captain Jallet. All Marseille now, can they make the set-pieces count.
58'
Valbuena's free-kick bundled over by Ayew, and somehow cleared for a corner by Sylvain Armand. This is Marseille's chance, but Ibrahimovic's header away denies the visitors.
57'
N'Koulou with another superb block, this time from Lavezzi as Marseille hang on in there. Unbelievable passing from the midfield, and unbelievable late defending from the visitors. A killer pass from Pastore too.
56'
WHAT A BLOCK FROM BARTON! Superb deflection from Barton who returns from a mistake from his team-mate to absolutely throw himself in front of the shot. Marseille hanging on, but the break is short.
55'
End to end stuff. A real spectacle as the world's interest grows in Ligue 1. Romao reprimanded for a lunge, though Verratti wastes the free-kick. Erratic from Verratti, if anything.
54'
ANDRE PIERRE GIGNAC! What a shot, and what a save. Superb pass from Valbuena, who splits the PSG defence open. Gignac races forward on the left, shoots powerfully before it being turned away by Sirigu. The ref opts for a goal-kick. Anger running.
52'
PASTORE! Superb run, and what a pass on the left from Lavezzi. Flowing move. Lavezzi's low cross meets Pastore, whose effort is bundled away by Mandanda on the line.
50'
Beckham has gone for a warm up, and the roar has gone over the Parc des Princes. Is he set to be introduced? Well, well, well. Just what will he offer?
49'
Jeremy Morel into the book for a lunge on Lucas Moura. The left-back has been somewhat shaky, epitomising his recent league form. Nevertheless, PSG aim to keep the ball in the face of a Marseille onslaught.
48'
J. Morel gets yellow.
Fantastic turn from Lavezzi, who is enjoying a supreme game for PSG tonight. He darts forward, aiming for Ibrahimovic, but just a little too far. N'Koulou gets it away.
47'
HUGE CHANCE FOR MARSEILLE! Mistake from Marco Verratti allows Mathieu Valbuena but somehow, Salvatore Sirigu deflects over the bar. What a start to this second half.
Free header for Lucas Mendes, as the corner causes further havoc in the PSG half. A real superb start from the men in white. Dear me, PSG have failed to get off.
46'
UNDERWAY in the second half. PSG starting this one off, attacking from right to left.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 Olympique de Marseille.
45'
ONE MINUTE ADDED ON AT THE HAND OF THE FIRST HALF.
44'
Lavezzi denied after a fantastic flowing move involving Pastore and Ibrahimovic. The Argentne tumbles after a challenge from N'Koulou, and to be fair, it does look like a penalty. Fautrel waves play on as Marseille's attack fizzles out meekly.
42'
GIGNAC! Superb effort, and a really good save by Sirigu. Out of the blue, as the striker gets a connection with the ball before being parried by the goalkeeper. At the other end, N'Koulou and Mandanda almost gift Lavezzi a goal after a slight mistake.
41'
Marseille regain the ball - neither side can keep hold of it for now - as Romao, Valbuena and Kadir all combine. Fanni races up towards the right to provide an option, but in the end Sirigu claims easily.
40'
VALBUENA! Good free-kick, and Sirigu is forced to parry it away, Barton picks up possession but is hounded out by Maxwell as the hosts race up the other way towards Lavezzi.
39'
Valbuena makes progress down the elft, but the offside flag checks his progress. A slight shake of the head to the referee and TV replays show he was ONSIDE. Controversial.
Marseille have a free-kick here, on the edge of the area. Kadir, Gignac and Ayew are over this one, a good 25 metres out. Sirigu readies his wall, as Beckham watches on. He knows he could score this one.
38'
A PSG win tonight would put them an almost unassailable eight point lead over Marseille. Two horse race in Ligue 1? Lyon's win earlier puts them on joint 51 points with the capital club for now.
37'
@ibrennan2000 on Twitter: This is the first time I've seen Barton play for Marseille and his passing is awful. Quality loan deal
36'
Ibrahimovic running the show now as he asserts his physical strength on a lagging OM back four. Attempts to test Mandanda with a deflected shot, but even the OM captain fails to keep that in play. Corner. Taken by Pastore.
33'
IBRAHIMOVIC! Mandanda takes it away cleanly. Almost an opening for the big Swede, who is denied by the captain. But then, it was an offside flag that really stifled him.
32'
Elie Baup's side will be hoping for more of the same, that was cracking effort from the Algeria international. Good stat here - Marseille have consistently found the net in the last 13 matches of this fixture.
31'
Corner drifted in from the left, and it fails to trouble the goalkeeper as PSG hoof the ball away from their half. The visitors are getting stronger by the minute.
30'
KADIR! First real chance for Marseille, and the Algerian does superbly well to test Salvatore Sirigu, who tips his fierce shot over the bar.
28'
Crunching challenge from Lucas Moura on Andre Ayew, and the Brazilian comes off worse here. He is in considerable pain, and could it mean the introduction of David Beckham already?
26'
Slight lull in the attacking intensity in the game now as Elie Baup's side figure out how they can exactly trouble PSG, who look comfortable. Kadir, once more, is stifled on the wings.
24'
Another speculative Marseille attack falls flat as Salvatore Sirigu holds position. The Italy goalkeeper, so calm at the back normally, had a shocker in last week's defeat to Sochaux.
22'
Valbuena launches forward in search of some attacking cohesion with his team-mates. He doesn't achieve it this time, as a supposed 1-2 with Jeremy Morel falls short, as Sylvain Armand retrieves the ball.
20'
Twenty minutes gone at the Parc des Princes, and it's PSG who lead courtesy of Nicolas N'Koulou's own goal. Verratti launches a cross-field pass forward for Pastore, but Mandanda has it.
19'
Verratti pushes himself against the referee, looking for the Ghanaian to be reprimanded. Ayew continues to seek medical attention, though Ibrahimovic will be OK.
18'
OUCH! Andre Ayew clatters into Ibrahimovic, as Fredy Fautrel hands an immediate free-kick to the hosts. Really awkward tackle, and it appears that the Ghanaian has hurt himself.
17'
Barton and Fanni connect on the right hand side. OM continuing to keep possession in the PSG half, but they are finding it difficult to find a way into the penalty box.
16'
Marco Verratti needs to be careful there, three Marseille players around him, and he - as is his style, likes to dribble through all of them. He succeeds this time, as the hosts continue to push up.
14'
The Parc is in full voice, as PSG take the lead against rivals Marseille. Foued Kadir launches an offensive down the right, but he is crowded out instead. Marseille need to respond.
12'
Well, that looked initially as Lucas Moura's first ever goal for the Ligue 1 leaders, but it is unlikely that it will be attributed to him. Wrongfooted Steve Mandanda, who will be disappointed with the manner in which that crossed the line.
11'
N. Nkoulou is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOAL!!!!! PSG 1-0 MARSEILLE! An own goal from Nicolas N'Koulou as he deflects in Lucas Moura's attempt, the Brazilian threatening only seconds before. His 18-metre shot which wrongfoots and beats Steve Mandanda. Advantage PSG!
9'
Lucas Moura causing a few problems in the Marseillais half, as he uses superb pace to get past Lucas Mendes, before Andre Ayew cleans up at the back.
8'
Great ball to the far post by Christophe Jallet as Javier Pastore attempts to produce a scissor kick, but fails horribly, as Nicolas N'Koulou hurries the ball away.
7'
Marseille seeing more of the ball as they sweep up the field. A nice attacking axis of Kadir, Valbuena and Ayew aiming to punch a hole in the Parisian defence. Joey Barton gets a few boos, nonetheless.
5'
And it's cannoned off the wall. Poor effort from Ibrahimovic, as it's charged down at the first attempt. Great start in the Classique, however.
4'
Awkward moment from the ever-impressive Nicolas N'Koulou, whose slip allows PSG to progress. He concedes a free-kick though, as Ibrahimovic readies himself. He scored from a free-kick back in the clash in October.
3'
Beckham watches on with a smile, as Marseille struggle initially. From the kick-off, they gave the ball away and have looked sloppy ever since. Two new January signings in the Marseille XI - Alaixys Romao and Foued Kadir sample their first Clasicos.
2'
WHAT A START! Ezequiel Lavezzi slams the post after a brilliant pass from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Superb contact with the ball, and Steve Mandanda was rooted to the spot. Fantastic chance.
1'
KICK OFF! Marseille get the Clasico underway to a chorus of boos. It's been snowing all day, pretty lightly in the capital, but the atmosphere is as red-hot as it can get.
Bon soir tout le monde! And welcome to Goal.com's LIVE commentary. It's the big one in France. Olympique de Marseille against fierce rivals Paris Saint-Germain from the Parc des Princes. A HUGE fixture. Stay tuned.
I'm Mohammed Ali, and I'll be guiding you through proceedings from the capital this evening, . There may be the Milan derby on at marginally the same time, but I still want your reactions, predictions and comments to the biggest game in the French football calendar. Send those to me via Twitter to @mohammedali_93.
Well, first meets third in Ligue 1 as the title race hots up. But enough about what's actually happening on the pitch. France Football hails this fixture as Angels v Demons - as David Beckham meets Joey Barton in the French capital. You'd almost think that there weren't 20 other players on the field...
But yes, with 114 caps more than his compatriot, Beckham is in line to make his French debut, a little more than two months after his MLS Cup win in December. Nevertheless, PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has vowed that his side will seek to improve following their shock league defeat to Sochaux last weekend.
As for Olympique de Marseille, no major European commitments. This is it, right here. This week will define their season. Already slightly overachieving, the club have not hit form since the turn of the year, with narrow wins and some heavy defeats the norm for Elie Baup's side.
In fact, the last time they won at the Parc des Princes, a 3-0 victory three years ago this week, the Marseillais recorded their biggest win in the capital, en route to their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years. Pressure? Of course.
I can confirm - David Beckham is ON the bench tonight. He doesn't start for PSG - perhaps a little easier tonight with Canal operating a BeckCam highlighting his every move. Without further ado, the team news.
OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLE: Mandanda (c), N'Koulou, Mendes, Morel, Fanni; Barton, Romao; Kadir, Valbuena, A. Ayew; Gignac
Tonight's referee is Fredy Fautrel, who officiated PSG's 1-0 win over Lille two weeks ago. The game will be kicked off by Ronaldo - of World Cup and Barcelona, Real Madrid fame. His footballing achievements will be honoured before the fixture commences.
So, predictions? Tweet them to me @mohammedali_93. It sure will be an explosive, entertaining, fixture filled with many subplots. Oh, and by the way, these two meet on Wednesday in the Coupe de France too!
The teams are out, as David Beckham sits closely next to Jeremy Menez and Kevin Gameiro. Ronaldo is handed a shirt by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as the Parc goes up in a roar of approval. Kick off imminent.
Half-time at the Parc. Lucas' deflected goal - given as an N'Koulou own goal, is what separates the two sides at the break. OM have been threatening, but their defence - noticeably captain Steve Mandanda and Nicolas N'Koulou have let them down following a nervy 45 minutes. Still, nothing has been decided here yet!
The sides are out for the second half, in freezing temperatures, second half should be a cracker.
