AND IT'S LONG! FULL-TIME - PSG ARE INTO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINALS!
90' +3
CORNER TO VALENCIA - LAST CHANCE! LAST CHANCE!
90' +2
É. Banega gets yellow.
PSG simply taking their time at this additional time. Reminding you, that the Champions League draw takes place next Friday.
90' +1
Into the first of THREE added minutes at the Parc des Princes.
90'
Into stoppage time, as Pastore races forward, off a deflection by Mathieu but Victor Ruiz slips and allows Gameiro to have a shot. Fantastic save by Guaita, but he was offside.
89'
Goal-kick to Valencia after Van der Wiel fails to move out of the tight corner. Goal-kick played short by Guaita, unaware that there is just minutes left. Urgency!
88'
Ibrahimovic watches on in the stands, as Guaita picks up a loose ball from Gameiro. One goal required to force extra-time as we approach the 90'
87'
Too early to talk about the Champions League draw? Who will PSG face, that is if they see the next three minutes out? Who would you like to see them face? Real Madrid? Juventus? A performance like tonight, and they won't go any further.
86'
Soldado aims to pick out Piatti in the box, but the latter goes down under a challenge. Referee doesn't even give a second look as PSG continue with play, with Lavezzi penalised now.
84'
Dani Parejo gets yellow.
Piatti with a fine ball across the field to find Banega, who just can't connect with it as it flies out for a goal-kick. Six minutes.
Minute
Description
83'
M. Sakho enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
Pastore forces a cross in on the flanks, hoofed away by Barragan - and the visitors need to begin putting more intensity on their opponents. Urgency is needed, but PSG are holding them at arm's length.
82'
If you were reading this live commentary hoping for David Beckham to feature, I bring you bad news. Mamadou Sakho is PSG's third and final substitution, replacing Lucas Moura.
81'
Another corner to Valencia. Banega with the inswinger, and this time Sirigu picks it up easily, under the challenge of Jeremy Mathieu. NINE minutes for Valencia to save their European campaign.
80'
Soldado gets yellow.
Don't forget to rate this game using the five-star system at the top of the Match Centre, and leave your comment. I won't hold my breath for any five's of course.
79'
Delivered in by Piatti, but once more hurriedly cleared. Soldado picks up a booking for dissent. He has largely been a peripheral figure this evening. A disappointment.
78'
Banega appears to be tripped up by Alex when chasing the loose ball, but referee Mazic says nothing doing - Valencia lead the second half possession count 61% to PSG's 39%. Moura goes down, and Valencia just continue! As they are allowed to.
77'
Corner to Valencia, pinged about the six yard box as Mathieu brings the ball forward after Banega is unsuccessful the first time around. Cross in is headed away by Maxwell. ANOTHER corner. Where is Soldado to head them in?!
76'
N. Valdez enters the game and replaces Jonas.
PSG can emulate recent minor French successes in the CL, with Marseille reaching the quarters last year, Lyon in the semi-finals three years ago. They have been comfortable, if not playing at their best.
75'
I was right. SUBSTITUTION - Haedo Valdez is to come on for goalscorer Jonas. Tomorrow night - the lottery. Quarter of an hour left at the Parc des Princes, it's PSG 1-1 Valencia (3-2 agg)
74'
Moura gets into view again after a quiet 15 minute period. He slips on the ball as he fights to keep it in play, but fails this time around. Valencia have Valdez on the bench, will we be seeing him any time soon?
73'
A lovely little debate going on to the right in the Goal.com chatbox here: La Raza argues: "No Rami, no Costa, no Joao Pereira...such a shame. Full-strength Valencia would be so much more dangerous." - If only!
72'
Another corner for Los Che here after Maxwell charges down Barragan's speculative cross.
Delivered in by Costa, and it's immediately whistled away by the referee for a foul on Sirigu. It appears the PSG goalkeeper tripped himself which is weird.
71'
Corner to Valencia, delivered in well by Banega, and it's fantastic header away. Sirigu was nowhere there. Meanwhile
Erick Chinchilla comments: Valencia has definitely been playing better! All they need is one goal! Come on Soldado!
69'
It's charged down by the wall nonetheless. All this possession, all these passes from the visitors, and yet they are being marshalled adequately by the Ligue 1 leaders. What can they do in the last 20 minutes?
68'
And yes, gauging the reaction from our readers on the chatbox. That goal was totally undeserved. But I guess, that's what you get for a momentary lapse in defence. Free-kick to Valencia here, and it's in a good position. Costa over this, 30 metres out.
67'
E. Lavezzi gets yellow.
Never fear Valencia fans - the team just requires one goal still to force extra-time. It's a booking for Lavezzi, who treats his female fans with his bare-chested celebration. The referee's not amused.
66'
E. Lavezzi has scored a goal for PSG!
GOAL! PSG EQUALISE! It's a goal for Lavezzi, who scores his fifth CL goal this term. Poor ball in midfield as Gameiro dispossesses Costa and races forward. The Valencia defence don't know what to do as the ball falls to Lavezzi - his initial shot is fantastically saved by Guaita, before he taps in the rebound. 1-1 on the night 3-2 on aggregate.
65'
GUAITA! Superb clearance, after Matuidi sets it up for Lavezzi who races down one v one after being fed through. The goalkeeper races out and gets the ball away.
64'
Currently 2-0 for Juventus in Turin against Celtic. As it stands, they'll join Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid in the last eight. PSG are set to join them, but based on current performance, Valencia look best placed here at the Parc des Princes. They need just ONE goal.
63'
P. Piatti enters the game and replaces S. Féghouli.
SUBSTITUTION! The rather poor Sofiane Feghouli departs the field for Pablo Piatti. What can Piatti do in the remaining 27 minutes?
62'
Maxwell and Pastore combine on the left as they aim to unlock a rather well-oiled Los Che defence. Still can't get away, befrore Gameiro wins it at the death. He attempts a run, but a fabulous tackle from Costa sees his shot bobble harmlessly to Guaita.
61'
Matuidi takes possession as Gameiro tries to break. It was Tino Costa who lost possession, but fellow Frenchman Mathieu hurriedly intercepts the pass on Gameiro.
60'
STAT: That was Jonas' 4th Champions League goal against Ligue 1 opposition this season. He scored all of the goals against Lille in the group stage.
59'
Andres Yanez comments what we're all thinking really. "The game is getting good now" Keep them coming in!
58'
K. Gameiro enters the game and replaces T. Motta.
SUBSTITUTION! Second change from Ancelotti as he goes for the offnsive. Kevin Gameiro replaces Thiago Motta.
57'
Barragan gets carried away with an over-hit cross, but Valencia look almost a different side since the goal was scored, and since Banega was introduced at half-time. Matuidi is penalised for a challenge on Tino Costa.
56'
That's Paris Saint-Germain 0-1 Valencia (2-2 aggregate) - PSG still going through on away goals. But the interest in this game will soar now. Oddly, the PSG fans have awoken now.
55'
Jonas has scored a goal for Valencia! Assist by T. Costa.
GOAL! VALENCIA SCORE! Out of the blue, and it's a fantastic strike from the Brazilian Jonas. A superb goal, as he gets the better of Alex and fires a powerful strike from distance past Sirigu - WE HAVE LIFT OFF!
54'
The pitch is causing one or two problems with the wet surface. Valencia are required to hurriedly slide the ball, but they are countering.
53'
Whipped in with the left by Tino Costa, the ball is once again average though Jeremy Mathieu concedes a free-kick for a foul on Thiago Motta.
52'
Parejo again instigates another Valencia move as they seek to make progress. Jonas finds Cissokho on the overlap, and it's blocked by Van der Wiel for the corner.
51'
Epitomises Valencia's night as Feghouli slips again on the wet surface, after a comfortable threaded pass from Dani Parejo.
49'
Sloppy pass from Van der Wiel, as he attempts to make a one-two with Clement Chantome. The local was preferred to David Beckham over who would replace the suspended Marco Verratti, but has been rather average.
48'
Van der Wiel with a foul on Banega, as PSG maintain possession. Remember, Ernesto Valverde's side need TWO goals if they are to get into the last eight for the first time since 2006-07.
Feghouli tumbles under no pressure as Pastore begins a break running at Mathieu. He finds Moura, who waits for the ball to reach an acceptable height before pinging a shot goalwards. It's blocked, and Pastore is furious on the far side.
47'
SUBSTITUTION: David Albelda makes way for Ever Banega.
46'
É. Banega enters the game and replaces Albelda.
UNDERWAY IN THE SECOND HALF! PSG get us started, attacking from left to right as Pastore drifts in an early ball with Van der Wiel also popping in a cross on the right. Substitution to tell you about too.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 0-0 Valencia CF (2-1 aggregate)
45' +2
Lucas Moura picks up the ball and feeds Matuidi who is hacked down, for the third time by Feghouli. The midfielder, Paris born, lucky not to be booked, but it is a great chance for PSG right at the death.
Corner to PSG as Alex fails to hit the target. Last chance for PSG, a goal here would surely kill off the tie. Chantome takes, and it hits the side-netting. Half-time.
45' +1
OHH! PASTORE! Almost turns into his own goal there after a wicked ball in by Tino Costa. It's gone for another corner, and this one is properly dealt with.
45'
JONAS! A rare shot, and Sirigu saves well, blocking the ball into the path of Maxwell, before the left-back hurriedly gets the ball away for a corner.
44'
Roar from the PSG fans after Matuidi just watches Feghouli create a 20 second stepover, before the Algerian just runs the ball out of play. Very poor indeed.
43'
Free-kick to Valencia after Lucas Moura is penalised for a challenge on Mathieu. Two minutes until half-time. A goal here would be big. But it doesn't get past Thiago Silva.
42'
Feghouli does well to embark on another mazy run in midfield. Soldado to his left, Jonas to his right, he opts for the latter, with a meek one-two. Cross in from the Brazilian is short, and headed away. The deliveries tonight have been poor.
41'
Beckham Watch first progress report. The ex-England captain begins his warm up routine as he bids to make his Champions League debut for his third European club. Last CL appearance - 2010 for AC Milan v Man Utd.
40'
Five minutes to go in a rather turgid first half as Mathieu scythes away a speculative cross from Moura. What can either side conjure up in the second half?
39'
Free-kick to PSG after Matuidi receives brief treatment. Played short by Maxwell into Pastore, but Valencia do well to regain the ball instead. Still, the French side are recovering, and are making another assault on goal.
38'
Víctor Ruiz gets yellow.
BOOKED: Victor Ruiz for a bad foul on Blaise Matuidi. The tireless midfielder is set through by Pastore, but what should've been pretty routine for Ruiz, sees him booked for a heavy challenge.
37'
Barragan is fed the ball, and the right-back makes progress on the flank. Attempts a delightful cross, and is majestically headed away by Alex, who gets up impressively to avert the danger.
36'
TINO COSTA! Not a great shot in all honesty, and again it's dragged just wide of Sirigu's left post. Valencia not really troubling PSG in the final third, and much of this first half has taken place in midfield.
35'
Clever play from the Argentine duo. Lavezzi picks out Pastore on the left, the quick movement catches out a static Valencia defence, but the latter's cross in is saved well by Guaita.
34'
Good cross by Pastore from the corner, dipping well and forces Guaita into a rather awkward punch away. PSG have made 108 passes to Valencia's 178 with the visitors leading possession 53-47% now. You can see all those stats and more on the MatchCentre.
33'
Soldado chases the ball on the edge of the area down the right, and with Jonas arriving through the middle, the captain does well to find the forward, but his shot is scuffed wide.
32'
Stat: Before the first leg, PSG and Valencia had only met once before - in the 2007 Emirates Cup held at the Emirates Stadium in north London. That was won 3-0 by PSG.
31'
Gone half an hour played in Paris, and it's still 0-0 (2-1 agg). Jonas with a lovely dink of the ball towards Soldado, but it's headed away by Thiago Silva. Lucas Moura attempts to counter with a cross, but it's too easy for Guaita.
29'
Tino Costa gives possession away to Moura, who does well to shield it away from FOUR Valencia players. Finds Motta, who combines with Pastore and Matuidi, and PSG are just keeping it to themselves. That is, before a shocking pass to Lavezzi which flies out of play.
28'
PASTORE! The Argentine with a fine chance, as he progresses down the left and cuts in. He should've got his shot away, after being set through by Chantome, but Barragan recovers to block the ball away.
27'
G. van der Wiel enters the game and replaces C. Jallet.
Brilliant move by Parejo, who manages to get the ball into Feghouli. The Algerian gets the ball in back to the danger zone, but the referee rules that the ball just flew out of play. Feghouli is not pleased.
Chace Lorans comments: No Ibra, no attack. Gameiro should have at least started,
Fielding three holding midfielders is just too cautious. They need to kill the game first. - a very good point.
26'
SUBSITUTION: Christophe Jallet is replaced by Gregory van der Wiel - PSG's first change of the game.
25'
A few comments coming through in the MatchCentre (chatbox to your right): La Raza comments "Pastore is such an actor.." (really?!) and Thiago Augusto Aguilar da Silva (brilliant name) comments that Lucas will get two goals. Continue the talk! Tweet me @mohammedali_93.
24'
Antonio Barragan, Tino Costa, Vicente Guaita (Valencia) and Thiago Silva, Blaise Matuidi (PSG) are all a booking away from suspension in the next continental match they play. It's *just* the Champions League quarter-final.
23'
BOOKED: David Albelda is cautioned following a poor challenge against Blaise Matuidi. The 35-year-old will have to be careful from here on in.
22'
Albelda gets yellow.
Lavezzi aims to instigate the counter instead, as PSG fans roar on the Argentine, but he runs himself into Victor Ruiz, who is so far keeping the forward away from goal.
21'
CHANCE! Lovely ball from Jonas into Cissokho. A very poor ball, just on the edge of the corner flag, but Alex fails to get it away. It's recovered, in the path of Tino Costa, but he too mis-kicks it. Very poor chance.
20'
Valencia calmly passing around the ball in the PSG half, with Soldado and Jonas combining. The ball goes all the way back to Albelda in midfield, who hoofs a shot well over the bar. A straight thumbs-down from Ancelotti.
18'
It's been a rather competitive first 18 minutes here at the Parc des Princes. What do you guys make of it? Can PSG see this game out without Ibrahimovic? Or will Valencia spring a surprise? Tweet me @mohammedali_93.
17'
Corner to Valencia, again taken by Tino Costa. Ruiz doesn't get a clean touch on it as it's crossed slightly over the waiting attackers.
15'
SOLDADO! Comfortable save for Sirigu, but the game's first real chance. A superb pass by Jonas, and the Spain international does brilliantly to get to that first, but the shot is somewhat tame as the Italian recovers to hold.
14'
Great run by Feghouli, who dribbles his way down the right. Barragan makes the overlap as another option to the Algerian's right, but he crosses instead. It's an awkward one for Sirigu, who is forced to punch away, but the referee calls for a foul on the goalkeeper.
13'
Motta with a superb lofted ball into Lavezzi, and over the entire Valencia defence. Just offside though. Valencia lead 52%-48% on possession.
12'
Quick succession of fouls on Pastore. First by Barragan, then Parejo. Again, Moura makes a lovely run through the middle, as he tees up a shot, before Victor Ruiz catches up with him.
11'
LUCAS MOURA! Quick feet from the Brazilian who is threaded in by Chantome. He strikes low, with his right foot, and only just drags wide Guaita's post. A chance, but he'll prove to be more of a threat as the night goes on.
10'
Thiago Motta, himself back in the line-up for the first time in almost a month, briefly goes to ground after a clash of heads. It was with fellow Brazilian Alex, but play continues.
9'
Another corner, this time to PSG after some brilliant footwork by Lavezzi, who combines with Maxwell down the left. It's whipped in by Pastore, but headed away by a comfortable Valencia defence.
8'
Corner by Tino Costa. Headed away, but only into the path of Victor Ruiz who reignites the move. Ball finds its way into Jonas, whose shot is awful. Really, really awful. Out for a goal-kick.
7'
JONAS! Fantastic ball deep from midfield, as the Brazilian gets the better of Jallet, who lost his footing slightly. The ex-captain returns however to maintain his composure and intercept the ball. Almost a chance, but it is a corner.
6'
And this time, Guaita with the punch as Valencia break through Feghouli. The ball eventually falls to Motta, who instigates his own break into Pastore. A bright move, but that too is quickly snuffed out.
5'
Corner to PSG. Taken quickly by Pastore, too quickly for the refreee's liking. The Serbian official has spotted something between Barragan and Lavezzi. Corner to be taken again.
4'
Free-kick afforded to PSG after Lucas Moura goes down after a challenge from Jonas. Chantome whips it in, but Pastore's shot coming in from the left is blocked.
3'
Edgy start to proceedings in Paris, and Valencia are the side seeing slightly more of the ball. Before kick-off, referee Milorad Mazic joked to Valencia captain David Albelda - saying "you can still play"? Let's hope it's that light-hearted at the end, given the reception Cuneyt Cakir received last night at Old Trafford.
2'
Feghouli's progress is kept in check by Thiago Silva, who gives away a corner. Delivered in by former Montpellier star Tino Costa, it's easily headed away. Thiago Silva making his first start for seven weeks tonight.
1'
KICK-OFF! Valencia get us started, attacking from left to right. Boos ring out, they start the night 2-1 down on aggregate. Only a 2-1 scoreline will prolong this match this evening. Let's hope for a good one!
Good evening and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE! text commentary from the UEFA Champions League. It's the first knockout round second leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Valencia CF at the Parc des Princes. The French side lead on aggregate 2-1, and we're here to bring you full coverage. Stay tuned.
I'm Mohammed Ali, and I'll be guiding you through today's events for the next two hours. Don't forget to use Twitter to send us your predictions, musings and comments and tell me what you think throughout the 90 minutes - the handle is @mohammedali_93. Also, don't forget to interact with the Goal.com MatchCentre, on the box to your right.
For 89 delightful minutes in the Mestalla little over 3 weeks ago, Paris Saint-Germain had mastered Los Che, and with a comfortable 2-0 lead, and all 11 players on the field, tonight's fixture should've looked really, like a formality. Cue a few minutes of madness - Zlatan Ibrahimovic's red card as well as Adil Rami's finish ensured that this second leg maybe not be the foregone conclusion it should've been....
And yes, it means that there is a little more excitement in the French capital. While PSG have continued to look rather inconsistent, victory tonight will put them on the platform that the Qatar Investment Authority set out for them when buying the club in 2011. A place in the Champions League quarter-final, and the chance to join Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the business end of the competition.
Nevertheless, Ancelotti's side seem to take one step forward and two steps back with their recent form. A couple of wins over arch-rivals and title challengers Olympique de Marseille was followed by a shock defeat by struggling Stade de Reims at the weekend. Defeat tonight will only pile the pressure on Carlo Ancelotti - especially with his side starting the evening in the lead, and as favourites.
Valencia meanwhile can book a first quarter-final place since 2006-07 with an unlikely comeback. Ernesto Valverde's appointment has seen the Spanish outfit revive their fortunes, lifting them from 12th to 5th in the Primera Division. The visitors however, have one statistic against them. They have lost every single tie in Europe that they've gone behind in the first leg. Good luck then.
A few manager quotes now. Ancelotti is wary of the threat Valencia pose: "We need to forget about the first leg and play at full speed for 90 minutes. We must defend and attack well during the entire match. David Beckham has played two matches since he arrived and has played well. He provides us with his qualities and his character and he's as important as any other player here. Maybe he will play, in place of the suspended Marco Verratti, maybe he won't."
Meanwhile,Valverde is optimistic of his side's chances: "The players know we'll have to score some goals. We'll have to be quick to attack while also defending well, because they have good forwards. We need to find the right balance. Valencia didn't play particularly great in the first leg, despite our intentions, but that's also because of PSG. We're really going to do everything to qualify – nothing is written, so we believe in our chances."
A few statistics to whet your appetite: PSG ended Valencia’s unbeaten run of 17 games against French clubs in the first leg. No French club has ever kept a clean sheet against Valencia in European competition (19 games). PSG have won their last five Champions League games, the best run currently. It’s PSG’s longest streak in the competition since 1994/95, and they have not lost at home in Europe since 2006. A very tall order then.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN: Sirigu, Thiago Silva, Alex, Maxwell, Jallet, Matuidi, Chantôme, Pastore, Thiago Motta, Lucas, Lavezzi SUBS: Douchez, Sakho, Camara, Armand, Van der Wiel, Beckham, Gameiro.
TEAM NEWS
David Beckham named only on the bench as Carlo Ancelotti switches to a 4-3-3 with the returning Thiago Motta joining Clement Chantome and Blaise Matuidi in midfield. Ezequiel Lavezzi acts as a lone 'striker', with captain Thiago Silva back for the first time in seven weeks displacing Mamadou Sakho. For Valencia, Joao Pereira indeed does fail a late fitness test, replaced by Antonio Barragan, with Jeremy Mathieu deployed at centre-back.
Tonight's referee hails from Serbia. Relatively inexperienced at Champions League level, Milorad Mazic has already taken charge of Dortmund's win v Man City, as well as Barcelona and Man Utd group matches this season.

Goal.com's Ben Hayward on Twitter: Roberto Soldado's first professional goal was set up by David Beckham - a header for Real Madrid versus Olympiacos in 2005. #psg #vcf
The teams are out, to thunderous applause. Now, for that majestic anthem.
Unbelievable roar from the PSG fans when the Champions League anthem was being played. It's a wet and cold night in this southwestern area of the capital.
A poor half in all honesty in the capital. PSG have looked lethargic, Valencia even more so. The best chance has fallen to the visitors however, who require two goals to progress. The French side look lost without Ibrahimovic though.
Another nudge to get your comments in! Twitter (@mohammedali_93) or here on the MatchCentre: just as Chace Lorans is doing, with another comment: "Why does Lucas and Maxwell insist on crosses? Who will actually win a ball in the air? Lavezzi? Gameiro in, Chantome out."
Brilliant statistic from UEFA (you'd suspect they'd know one or two things about the Champions League) - PSG have won their last two home games against Spanish visitors in Europe, 4-2 -- with the way this game has gone, I highly doubt it.
FT: Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 Valencia CF (3-2 aggregate).
That was roundly, a poor game at the Parc des Princes as a roar goes up from the Parisien fans. PSG are on a lap of honour here, their first quarter-final berth since 1994-95. Valencia lacked urgency, but dominated the tie. Lacking the attacking impetus to trouble Salvatore Sirigu though.
Thanks for joining me for Goal.com's coverage this evening. Stick around for further reports, analysis and comment from Paris and Turin. I'll be back for Ligue 1 coverage at the weekend. Mohammed Ali, out!
