Vienna pump a long free kick into the box that Helton does well to jump up and claim. And that may just be that.
90' +1
Into the first of three added minutes.
89'
Porto doing very well through Fernando and Co. to break up play centrally, preventing the hosts from getting any scope for a late leveler.
87'
J. Quintero enters the game and replaces L. González.
Goalscorer Lucho Gonzalez's race is run, he departs for Quintero.
85'
Late pressure from Vienna, who win two corners in a row, but cannot make either of them count.
84'
R. Okotie enters the game and replaces J. Holland.
R. Kienast enters the game and replaces P. Hosiner.
83'
This game just starting to slip away from the home side as it's Porto who are making the stronger finish to the game.
81'
The home crowd up in arms for a high boot by a Porto player, but no dice from the referee.
79'
H. Herrera enters the game and replaces Silvestre Varela.
Gonzalez comes mightily close to connecting on a dangerous Varela centre across the face of goal.
Minute
Description
77'
Porto are content to sit on this one goal lead it seems. Make no mistake, it would be an excellent three points for them, but a hard won set at that.
75'
The game getting very scrappy very quickly, as a series of untidy fouls break up the rhythm of the game.
73'
Silvestre Varela gets yellow.
Not much shown by either side in the last few minutes, after it looked for a while like the game would finally explode into life.
70'
GROUP G UPDATE: It's 2-1 to Atletico Madrid against Zenit, with Arda Turan coming up with the goods for the hosts.
68'
T. Šimkovič enters the game and replaces T. Jun.
Vienna also take off Jun, and on comes Simkovic.
67'
P. Hosiner gets yellow.
M. Izmaylov enters the game and replaces Licá.
Izmailov looks to be coming on for the fairly ineffective Lica.
65'
Hosiner goes mightily close once again, dribbling past a pair of challenges before losing his balance slightly, and slicing a shot agonizingly wide of the bottom corner.
63'
Elsewhere in Group G, Zenit have brought it to 1-1 against Atletico Madrid, with Hulk leveling things up just before the hour mark.
61'
A poor back pass sees Hosiner slip through on goal, but he is thwarted at the last by Helton!
59'
The game really picking up now, both sides sense vulnerabilities in each other.
57'
Stankovic very nearly brings Vienna level when he gets his head on a free-kick, but sees it cannon back of the post with Helton a mere spectator!
55'
L. González has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Danilo.
Danilo skips down the right flank unopposed, and with the attention of the defence honed on Martinez, no one notices Lucho just inside the area, who sweeps back the cutback with aplomb!
54'
LUCHO GONZALEZ SCORES!
52'
A fairly more lively beginning to the second half here, as both sides still have the words of their respective managers ringing in their ears.
50'
Vienna looked to be through for one second, but an excellent block from Lucho Gonzalez stops them in their tracks.
48'
Martinez snaps one wide of the mark with Porto's first opening of the second period.
46'
We're back in action folks.
45' +1
Only 20 seconds, as a matter of fact, as the referee signals for the interval.
45'
I can't imagine there being much stoppage time.
44'
Alex Sandro gets yellow.
And Sandro follows Koch into the book in quick succession for wrestling Royer to the ground. One yellow for each side.
43'
F. Koch gets yellow.
First booking on Koch for lunging into a tackle on Gonzalez.
42'
Nearly a test for Helton, as Stankovic tries to catch him off his line, and the ball just bounces onto the roof of the net.
40'
Another positive spell here for Porto towards the end of the half. A conspicuous lack of penetration though.
38'
Porto win a corner off a sliding Suttner challenge. He's really giving Martinez a run for his money, coming in from his left back position to help out centrally.
36'
After a shaky start, the home side have largely had the upper hand here, and Nenad Bjelica has a lot of positives to work on with the half time break inching closer.
34'
Porto's Lucho Gonzalez has scored at least once in each of the nine campaigns that he has played at this level. Six seasons have come with his current club, and three at Marseille.
32'
Not bad from Vienna! Koch makes a strong overlapping run down the right, and cuts it back cleverly for the unmarked Hosiner at the top of the box, who bends it first time wide of the post!
30'
Jackson Martinez plays a neat one two with Lica, but with Suttner closing in, he can only muster an uncontrolled poke over the crossbar.
28'
Not happening for either side at the moment. The fans are still enjoying this, however.
26'
Still 0-0 in the other Group G match between Atletico Madrid and Zenit at the Vicente Calderon. In fact, Barcelona are the only team to score so far in this matchday, and shockingly, it's Messi with the goal.
24'
Mader, not for the first time, cannot capitalize on another decent shooting opportunity, and punts a 20-yarder over the top.
22'
Koch seems to have a run in on goal. but is absolutely flattened by Mangala. Free kick for the hosts, which causes some hesitation in the Porto box before its finally hacked clear.
20'
Speaking of Jackson Martinez, if he finds the back of the net tonight, he can equal a club record of scoring in the first five competitive games of the season. That landmark, by the way, is currently held by Falcao.
18'
Porto begin to regain the upper hand, and are enjoying a solid spell in the opposition half. No real openings as of yet for hotshot Jackson Martinez, however.
16'
This is Porto coach Paulo Foncesca's first European experience in the dugout, having taken over the reins at the Estadio do Dragao in June from Pacos de Ferreira.
14'
Vienna really starting to grow into this contest. Marseille are clearly unsettled by their high pressing approach.
12'
Mader comes close to embarrassing Helton with a low free-kick that is bent towards the bottom corner, and which the Brazillian keeper fumbles for just a second.
11'
Royer is not bashful at all about having a go on goal, this time he lines one up from well outside the box but same result - it sails harmlessly over.
9'
It's a wet night here in Vienna, with the temperature at a crisp 15C. We've seen two tries from distance already, perhaps the players are hoping to play the conditions to their advantage, and really test the goalkeepers' grip in the rain.
7'
Royer sends a wild shot miles into orbit on the hosts' first real foray forward. Not a good attempt from him.
5'
Porto largely controlling the opening exchanges here, keeping the ball penned in the opposition half.
3'
First save of the match, and it falls to Lindner in the home side's goal. Fernando had taken aim from 30 yards, but the keeper saw it all the way and pushed wide.

Here we go folks!
Tonight we take in the action at the Ernst-Happel Stadion, where Austria Vienna and Porto do battle and commence their Champions League campaigns. Welcome from me, Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for the evening.
Porto are clear favourites for this one, since from the second this match kicks off, they will officially have taken part in their 18th group stage campaign. The Portuguese side have also been in fine form to start the season, victorious in all four of their league games.
Vienna have not had a good time of it domestically since the start of the season, however, and are up against one of the perennial dark horses of the Champions League.
The Champions League anthem rings out around the ground as the teams make their way into position. Kickoff just around the corner.
A closely-fought contest so far, with neither team having a really convincing case for being ahead. Plenty of hustle but no real chances to speak of. Let's hope things pick up after the break.
Job done for Porto, and an important three points on the board to start their group campaign. Not a classic by any stretch, more attrition than art, bu Lucho Gonzalez's lone goal is enough for the Portuguese side.
