Dybala comes close to finishing off the game, and moments later, Pogba goes racing through the centre with options in support. They're lining up for the assist, but the ball only bobbles into the arms of Berisha.
90' +3
P. Dybala gets yellow.
ANOTHER STRONG SAVE FROM BERISHA! The Lazio keeper is, well, keeping his side in this game. Pogba and Dybala combine to free the latter but once again, Berisha is there to prevent the finish.
Dybala has a few words for the referee and is carded for his efforts.
90' +1
BERISHA THWARTS MANDZUKIC! The big striker was put on his bike by a through pass and had the step on a defender, but his low attemot on goal is diverted by the legs of the goalkeeper!
90'
S. Zaza gets yellow.
P. Dybala enters the game and replaces S. Zaza.
Dybala comes on to replace Zaza for the closing stages.
Zaza gets into it with Lulic on his way off the field, and is booked.
89'
Biglia goes down and stays there after fighting for the ball, and he will have to be temporarily moved to the sidelines for treatment with all three Lazio substitutions already deployed in this game.
87'
At the moment the ball is at the wrong end of the pitch for Lazio, as Juventus set up camp near their left corner flag. Cuadrado tries a long throw-in, which doesn't work, but the Colombian is back on the ball soon.
85'
It's just not happening for Lazio at the moment as they concede some slack free-kicks that have given Juventus an opportunity to keep a hold of the ball and milk the clock.
83'
Matri scored the winning goal for Juventus against Lazio in last season's Coppa Italia final, lets remember - can he have a reverse wormhole effect here in the little time that remains?
82'
A. Matri enters the game and replaces M. Klose.
Matri comes on for an appearance against his former club, repacing Klose.
81'
Klose and Neto clash as they battle for a high ball, and the game is stopped to get both players attended to. Klose may have been set to depart anyway, but this challenge has just expidited that process.
Minute
Description
80'
J. Cuadrado enters the game and replaces S. Lichtsteiner.
Lichtsteinier, whose goal is the difference, departs for Cuadrado.
79'
Milinkovic-Savic is stopped in his tracks by Caceres as another attempt at a Lazio attack beaks down. The home side aren't able to find that moment of magic against one of the best defensive sides in Europe.
77'
ZAZA JUST WIDE! Once again, the Lazio right flank proves ripe for exploitation as the striker races free. He has defenders catching up, but still enough time to take aim, but he misses the target!
76'
M. Mandžukić enters the game and replaces Álvaro Morata.
Morata has been swapped out for Mandzukic in a like-for-like change.
75'
Based on what we have seen in the first 75 minutes, I can't really make a case for Lazio deserving anything more than what they're currently getting. They've been poor, no doubt about it.
73'
Felipe Anderson enters the game and replaces A. Konko.
Konko has departed for Felipe Anderson in a decidedly attacking substitution.
72'
Lazio have no choice but to chase this game now, but that plays right into Juventus' hands. The more the home side push forward, the more that the visitors will have space to break.
70'
Juventus' defending has been impenetrable today. Apart from that one run on goal for Keita, there has been absolutely no space for the Lazio forwards to operate in the final third.
68'
Juventus have an immediate chance to make it 2-0 as Sturaro pulls up with an effort that just misses the post! That would have wrapped it up as I can't see Lazio scoring twice here.
66'
S. Lichtsteiner has scored a goal for Juventus!
LICHTSTEINER HAS DONE IT! A sumptuous shot on the turn from Zaza is cannoned onto the woodwork, and there's no stopping the full-back from converting the rebound! Berisha does his best to claw it back, but it crossed the line by millimeters!
64'
The game starting to get some real spice to it now as the fans are invested in this one once again after some percieved injustices against their side. Interesting period ahead.
62'
W. Hoedt enters the game and replaces Maurício.
Mauricio is replaced by Hoedt for the rest of the game.
61'
Problems here for Mauricio, who is injured on the stretch for the ball and can't continue. The stretcher is called for and it's a shame to see the defender have to depart in such a manner.
60'
A. Konko gets yellow.
Yellow card Abdoulay Konko
59'
Not much in terms of goalscoring chances in the second half, following the theme of the first period. It's becoming increasingly clear that the first goal will be the one to decide this game.
57'
Radu and Chiellini square up to each other and argue, and both sets of players crowd around the spat. The referee is quickly across to put out that fire though, and doesn't book anyone.
55'
A Juventus free-kick finds Pogba winning his header once again, and Berisha is momentarily caught in no man's land. He's a tad fortunate to see the Frenchman's header sail over the crossbar.
54'
Maurício gets yellow.
Mauricio takes a chunk out of Morata and immediately knows what's coming. Another booking.
52'
MASSIVE MISS! Morata is put through on goal by a flicked pass from Zaza, but his low finish is parried excellently by Berisha's leg! Zaza continued his run to the back post though, and tries to whack in the rebound, but ruffles the side netting instead!
50'
Keita tries to make an impact once again by darting down the left-hand side, but he's cut out before he can get a ball into a dangerous area. To be fair to him, he's at least attempted to make things happen, even if it's mostly not come off.
48'
No changes to report from the break with both managers appearing to let things run their course for a few minutes more at least. Lazio have started the second half decently in possession.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
No stoppage time as the game is halted for the interval.
44'
G. Chiellini gets yellow.
Chiellini is booked for stepping out to meet Keita with a forceful challenge.
43'
To be honest, the tempo of this match is almost non-existent at the moment. The half-time break can't come quick enough, with both sides in need of a pick-me-up in terms of their attacking intent.
41'
Keita and Candreva have switched flanks momentarily to try to confuse the Juventus defence, but the former has no luck on the right, dribbling right into the body of Bonucci and losing the ball.
39'
There is something of a hush around the ground as the ball becomes bogged down in midfield. With Juventus controlling possession, the home fans have been lulled into a stupor it seems.
37'
Those chances for Keita and Pogba at either end of the field stand as the only real opportunities we've had so far. Lazio especially will be disappointed with their attacking exploits.
35'
Juventus have more belief than Lazio, although Neto has to race off his line to pluck a high ball out of the sky before Klose can pounce. Just about 10 minutes to go until half-time now.
33'
Morata races into the area and goes down under pressure from a defender. The referee correctly deems him to have fallen too easily, and it's surprising that he doesn't book him for simulation.
31'
S. Lulić gets yellow.
Finally we see the first yellow of the game as Lulic is carded for bringing down Chiellini.
30'
BERISHA CALLED INTO ACTION! Zaza weights up his options at the top of the box and squares the ball to Pogba, who takes aim from that position, only for Berisha to push it wide!
28'
Zaza gets the ball on the run down the right-hand side, and tries to beat his man for pace. He gets within shooting range but the angle is eventually taken away from him as he hits one off target.
25'
Very few goalscoring opportunities to recount here. You get the sense that one goal will end up deciding this game. I would give the edge to Juventus though, as they've looked more poised in possession.
23'
Neto smothers a header from Keita without too much trouble. The left-sided forward for Lazio has tried to make a nuisance of himself in this game with his movement and directness.
21'
Pogba tries to force room for a shot but he's blocked off by the Lazio midfield. Space continues to be hard to come by, which makes it all the more surprising that Keita missed that chance.
19'
Juventus are slowly starting to grow into this game. They're having more possession in the Lazio half and the home fans are starting to get frustrated at the turn of events here.
17'
NOT TOO FAR AWAY! Pogba climbs all over his marker to crash a header towards goal, but he misses the target by about a foot. It was an incredible leap from the Frenchman and he somehow made decent contact on it.
15'
Zaza commits a strong foul in the centre of the park but the referee keeps his cards in his pocket. I don't think that we'll go much longer without a booking if the challenges continue to fly in.
13'
THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE OPENER! Keita is put through on the left side of the box thanks to a great pass from Lulic. He opens up his body to curl the finish into the bottom corner with his right boot, but he can't keep it down, sending it over rather embarrasingly. No excuse for not hitting the target from that range.
11'
There's a foul against Juventus that the visitors aren't too pleased about, as they argue that Candreva tried to draw the contact with his run. Nevertheless, that man himself steps up to take the set-piece from about 30-yards out, but his effort is nowhere near to troubling Neto.
9'
As the first-half wears on, we're increasingly seeing a struggle to orchestrate shooting opportunities. Alex Sandro has an opportunity to overlap down the left-hand side, but his cross into the area flies to the far post before a teammate can profit.
7'
Lichtsteinier has an effort from the right-hand side, but he was never going to beat Berisha from there. Juve's full-back's will be key in providing width here and beating the press of a three-man Lazio midfield.
5'
It's starting to get scrappy here as both side's early enthusiasm lends itself to some tough challenges in their eagerness to win the ball back. No goalscoring chances as of yet.
3'
Early signs of the movement of Alvaro Morata as this game has started with an enterprising tempo. Both sides are looking comfortable in possession, and we should be in for an entertaining match.
1'
Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live commentary of the Coppa Italia clash between Lazio and Juventus. The Bianconeri beat the capital club in last season's final, and the rematch this time around comes at the quarter-final stage. Stick with us for all the action.
Domestically, Juventus have been on fire. They extended their league winning streak to 10 games after disposing of Udinese 4-0, a result which continued their incredible rise up the standings. Now only two points separate them from Serie A leaders Napoli just past the halfway mark of the season.
Lazio have begun to pick up some form recently, embarking on an unbeaten run that has seen them past the likes of Fiorentina and Inter. Their last match against Bologna saw them fight back from two first-half goals after the interval to claim a draw. However, they still sit in ninth place in the league.
Massimiliano Allegri's team followed up their Coppa Italia win with a 2-0 victory over Lazio in last summer's Supercoppa Italia in Shanghai. In fact, the Biancocelesti's last win over the Old Lady came in the semi-finals of this competition two seasons ago, where a 2-1 result at the Olimpico helped them on their way to the trophy.
Miroslav Klose is recalled to lead the line for the hosts, flanked on either side by Balde Keita and Antonio Candreva. Milan Bisevac also returns to the starting XI at the expense of Wesley Hoedt, while Senad Luluc replaces Filip Djordjevic.
It's a new front two for Juventus this evening, with Simone Zaza and Alvaro Morata handed the goalscoring burden, while Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala make way. Neto comes in to mind the net in place of Gianluigi Buffon, and Paul Pogba starts instead of Kwadwo Asamoah.
The referee has probably been the busiest man in a disappointing first half, dishing out two yellow cards and awarding plenty of free-kicks. Both sides had a chance to score via Keita and Pogba, but there was to be no breakthrough. Juventus have tended to be the better team, but there's still a lot of room for improvement across the board. Stay tuned for the restart soon.
The game ends in a storm as there's a flare up between the players which both benches attempt to put out. Still, that doesn't change the fact that Juventus are through to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia, beating Lazio for the second season running. they will face Inter, while Milan face Alessandria in the other last-four clash. That's it from us, thanks for tuning in!
