90' +1
R. Álvarez enters the game and replaces D. Praet.
R. Álvarez has scored a goal for Sampdoria! Assist by D. Zapata.
Late Sampdoria substitution with Dennis Praet being replaced by Ricardo Gabriel Álvarez.
GOOOAAALLL! IT'S TWO NIL! Álvarez scores just seconds after coming onto the pitch! Once again it was poor defending by Milan, the striker broke through on goal after a slip by Zapata, he then fires his low shot straight into the bottom corner of the net, giving Donnarumma no chance at saving it. That's surely the three points wrapped up now!
90'
There will be a minimum of three minutes added time played here.
89'
Excellent defending by Sampdoria to not allow Milan any chances to get back into this game, with just a couple of minutes to go they look good value for the win and to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
86'
Not long to go here and Sampdoria are containing Milan well, not allowing them time and space on the ball to create any chances to grab an equalising goal.
84'
V. Verre enters the game and replaces G. Ramírez.
Sampdoria make their first change of the game, with Gastón Ramírez being replaced by Valerio Verre.
83'
L. Bonucci gets yellow.
Bonucci is shown a yellow card for protesting a decision against him.
82'

Milan make their third and final substitution of the gane, Ignazio Abate is the man coming off and he has been replaced by Fabio Borini.
79'
Milan don't have long left to get back into this game and salvage anything, they need to be winning games such as these if they are to have a chance of challenging for the title or a top four spot in Serie A this season.

Description
78'
P. Cutrone enters the game and replaces G. Bonaventura.
H. Çalhanoğlu enters the game and replaces Suso.
Milan make their first substitution of the game with Suso heading off and he has been replaced by Hakan Çalhanoğlu.
The second Milan substitution sees Giacomo Bonaventura be replaced by Patrick Cutrone.
75'
The goal came just as Milan were starting to play their best football of the game and look the better side, but Sampdoria have certainly deserved their goal after a superb performance so far, limiting Milan for almost 70 minutes, making them chase the game and sit deep in defence.
72'
D. Zapata has scored a goal for Sampdoria!
G. Donnarumma gets yellow.
Donnarumma is shown the first yellow card of the game for protesting the goal by Zapata, he felt there was a foul on Bonucci in the build-up.
GOOOAAALLL SAMPDORIA! The hosts have finally broken the deadlock after being the better side for so long in this game! Zapata is the man to grab it and hand his side the lead, much to the delight of the home supporters. It was poor defending by Milan, the ball bounced around the penalty area and they failed to clear their lines, with it eventually falling to Zapata and from just a few yards out he couldn't miss!
69'
We have a brief stoppage in play now as Torreira is receiving medical treatment, it looks like he should be fine to continue.
67'
GREAT DEFENDING! Kessie was through on goal with just the keeper to beat but Lucas Torreira somehow manages to get back and steal the ball off the Milan man through sheer strength and determination. The midfielder then coolly turns and play it out from the back, rather than panicking and firing it upfield.
66'
Milan starting to take more control of this match now, they look more comfortable at the back and are starting to set the pace of the game and play their own football, having spent large periods of this game chasing Sampdoria.
63'
Decent chance for Sampdoria! Dennis Praet forces Donnarumma into making a good save low to his left. It was excellent build-up play by Sampdoria, with Praet and Gaston Ramirez playing good intricate football on the edge of the box, the ball then fell to Praet just outside of the penalty area, but his shot at goal was too weak to beat Donnarumma.
61'
Milan need to improve on their mixed record against Italy’s top sides. In fact, the highest placed side they could beat away from home last season was 10th placed Sampdoria, which was a hard fought 1-0 victory.
58'
Sloppy pass by Puggioni to Ivan Strinic on the edge of the area, the pass from the goalkeeper lacks any pace and it was good pressure by Suso to nick the ball away from the defender. Fortunately for Sampdoria his touch his too heavy and it allows Strinic to get back and then win a free-kick.
56'
Half chance for Milan! Kessie chips a great ball up to Kalinic who holds off a challenge, turns and lays it off to Suso on the edge of the area who fires an attempt at goal. The forward tries to curl his shot into the top left-hand corner of the goal but his effort is high and wide of the Sampdoria goal. Better by Milan.
54'
CHANCE SAMPDORIA! Quagliarella manages to get away from his marker inside the penalty area and work space for a shot from a tight angle, but his shot goes narrowly wide of the Milan goal, not troubling Donnarumma too much and the veteran striker should have done better with that effort.
53'
Free-kick in a good position for Sampdoria after a foul on Zapata. The set piece is whipped into the box from the right wing and it forces Milan's Zapata to head the ball over his own crossbar and out for a corner, which comes to nothing.
50'
Both sides have plenty of quality of their bench should they make some changes as the game goes on. Neither side has managed to settle down here in the opening few minutes of the second half so far, the game is end to end and possession of the ball is changing constantly.
48'
No changes at the break by either side, Sampdoria will be hoping they can begin the second period as they finished the first half, on top and looking the far more dangerous side. Vincenzo Montella will surely have been very unhappy with his Milan sides first-half performance and a big team talk was needed.
46'
The second half is underway!
45' +2
That's the half-time whistle!
45'
There will be a minimum of two minutes added time played here.
43'
Another Sampdoria chance! Lucas Torreira this time is the man with the attempt at goal, however his shot from the edge of the box goes narrowly wide. The home supporters are in full voice here, urging their team forward here, aiming to score before the break.
41'
Almost a Milan own goal! Alessio Romagnoli did well to block a cross in from the left, but in doing so his header behind almost caught out his goalkeeper as it went just inches wide of his own goal! A fourth Sampdoria corner, but once again Milan defend it well and clear the ball for a brief few seconds.
39'
Milan win their first corner of the game! Matías Silvestre making a good block which allows the visitors a chance to create a goalscoring opportunity, completely against the run of play. However, the set piece is poor and Sampdoria easily clear their lines.
36'
CHANCE SAMPDORIA! Zapata has another good opportunity to break the deadlock here. The striker got behind the three-man Milan defence far too easily, he then cut inside from a tight angle to work a shooting chance, but his shot was fired straight at Donnarumma who made himself big and made a great save. A cross to Fabio Quagliarella who was waiting in the box would have been a better option in that situation.
35'
Not long to go here at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium and the score remains goalless ahead of the half-time break. Sampdoria have looked far more dangerous and a goal before half-time would be massive, with Milan not playing at all well here.
32'
Better by Milan! Kalinic has been feeding off scraps in this game, but he catches the Sampdoria defence out and makes a good run behind their defensive line aiming to get on the end of a through ball. However, Christian Puggioni is quick off his line to make a vital sliding tackle and luckily he got their first to clear the danger.
30'
Vincenzo Montella may need to make some changes to his side at the break if they are going to come away with three points here today, the formation just isn't working, and there are a few Milan players which have been completely off the pace of the game and need to massively improve, especially in midfield.
27'
STAT: AC Milan have kept a clean sheet in five of their last six trips to Sampdoria. Milan have won their last three trips to Sampdoria after drawing at half-time.
25'
The home supporters are loving this display from their side at the moment, they are dominating in every department and Milan are now starting to give away several poor free-kicks for late tackles, perhaps a sign of their frustration at how the game is going after 25 minutes.
22'
When the visitors do manage to gain possession they are very slow in moving the ball around the pitch, along with making sloppy passes and it is far too easy for Sampdoria to win it back and continue to dominate.
20'
The Milan formation just doesn't seem to be working at the moment, they are being completely overrun by Sampdoria and are really struggling here. Suso has barely touched the ball for the visitors and he doesn't look comfortable in that second striker position. Big changes are needed.
17'
Another Sampdoria chance! Zapata appears to get the faintest of touches on a corner which almost lands in the back of the net, with Donnarumma throwing his arms in the air after more poor defending by his teammates. Milan are sitting deeper and deeper here and inviting Sampdoria on them, with the hosts looking by far the better side.
16'
STAT: The last three meetings between Sampdoria and AC Milan in Serie A have all ended 1-0: one win for the Blucerchiati and two for the Rossoneri.
13'
CHANCE SAMPDORIA! Duvan Zapata manages to evade Leonardo Bonucci at the far post and fire a looping header at Gianluigi Donnarumma, who made a good save to his right. A decent opportunity for the striker, but his attempt just didn't have enough pace on it.
11'
Milan boss, Vincenzo Montella is taking on Sampdoria, his former team as player, from 1996 to 1999 and in 2007-08. Furthermore, and as coach where he was in charge for 26 Serie A games in 2015-16. Montella has won 9 Serie A clashes against Sampdoria as manager.
8'
Milan are struggling to get out of their own half at the moment and when they do gain possession of the ball, they are being put under heavy pressure from Sampdoria and their only option is to play a long ball up the pitch, looking for Nikola Kalinic who is cutting an isolated figure up front at the moment.
6'
Sampdoria have made a good start to this game, this look full of confidence and are the team enjoying the majority of possession and dominating play at the moment. The hosts are putting the three-man Milan defence under some early pressure and whipping plenty of crosses into the box, but so far the final touch is missing.
4'
NO PENALTY! After viewing the footage of play once again, the referee has changed his decision on the pitch and the penalty has been overturned. Kessie kept his arm close to his body and from such close range he couldn't have managed to get out of the way of the cross. Instead a corner kick is awarded, with Milan defend well and clear the danger.
3'
PENALTY SAMPDORIA! The hosts have a penalty after the ball appeared to strike Franck Kessié on the arm as he tried to block a cross from out wide. The Milan players are furious with the decision and now the referee may consult the VAR to change his decision.
2'
CHANCE MILAN! A good opportunity for the visitors just seconds into the game. Ignazio Abate appears to beat the offside flag and is through on goal and shoot at goal from a tight angle but it goes well wide. The linesman then raises his flag for a very late offside call, a good chance so early in the game.

We're underway!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Serie A clash between Sampdoria and AC Milan.
Milan head to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris full of confidence after responding to a crushing defeat to Lazio a few weeks ago, with back-to-back wins in Serie A.
AC Milan are aiming to end Sampdoria’s unbeaten start to the new Serie A season today. The early game looks set to be a clash between two in-form teams, with matches between these two sides being close encounters in recent years.
Weather conditions saw their first real test, at home to Roma called off. Last term Sampdoria lost at home to four of the top six, which included Milan.
Sampdoria are going well so far this season, they find themselves in eighth and are unbeaten in the league after their first four matches - their last a fairly uninspiring 0-0 draw with Hellas Verona.
The team news is in and here is how the two sides will line-up today.
The Rossoneri were humbled 4-1 at the Stadio Olimpico, but a 2-1 victory over Udinese last Sunday followed up by a comfortable 2-0 win at home to SPAL has left the club fifth in the table, just six points behind league leaders Napoli, and one behind city rivals Inter, who face Genoa later today.
Milan’s heavy loss to Lazio was a poor result for Milan, especially after the momentum gained this summer. Aside from that loss, things have been going well for Milan this season. They’ve won every other game, but success in the Europa League must be a target this year, along with focusing on the top four and pushing for a return to the Champions League.
The teams are out here and kick-off is almost upon us. Stay tuned for all of the match action!
HALF-TIME: SAMPDORIA 0-0 MILAN
No goals here yet between Sampdoria and AC Milan, but it is the hosts who have looked by far the better team, creating chances and looking much better in possession. Milan have struggled to get going and have been far too sloppy with the ball and will need to improve in the second period.
FULL-TIME: SAMPDORIA 2-0 MILAN
An excellent performance by Sampdoria to come away with all three points today against a poor Milan side who looked off the pace of the game from start to finish. Duvan Zapata and Ricardo Alvarez with the second half goals to seal a fantastic victory, much to the delight of their home supporters who were in fine voice all game. Much to work on for Milan who suffer their second defeat of the season.
That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
