And there is the final whistle! Porto take a one-goal advantage into the second leg at La Rosaleda.
90' +1
Castro enters the game and replaces L. González.
We are into added time here. There will be a minimum of three minutes played.
89'
A push on Lucas Piazon results in a free kick for Malaga, but Isco's set piece towards the far post is wasted as Weligton pulls Mangala back and it is spotted by the linesman on the far side.
88'
Porto have been very disciplined tonight. It has been an efficient performance from them as they have limited Malaga's influence in attacking positions. With minutes to play the Porto midfield are still chasing and harrying their opponents in possession .
86'
Toulalan lofts the free kick forward but it goes straight to the feet of the Porto goalkeper Helton. That just about sums up Malaga's evening. They have had two shots all game.
85'
One of Malaga's recent substitutes Ignacio Camacho does well to win a free kick just inside his own half after holding off Martinez. But the away team need to work the ball forward quickly here. They are running out of time to grab an equaliser, while Porto are growing in confidence.
83'
A vital tackle from Antunes stops Martinez from getting a shot away inside the Porto box as Malaga survive another attack from Pereira's side.
82'
Fernando drives to the byline for Porto and hangs a cross up into the box towards Martinez but Caballero is off his line quickly to punch the ball clear before it reaches the attacker.
80'
The corner results in nothing though as Malaga's Weligton wins a free kick after tussling with Martinez. That is a let off for the visitors as if anything it looked like the defender was fouling the Porto attacker, not the other way round!
79'
Another corner for Porto. And another chance for them to grab the second goal they crave.
Minute
Description
78'
Ignacio Camacho enters the game and replaces M. Iturra.
Lucas Piazón enters the game and replaces Júlio Baptista.
77'
A sliced clearance from Demichelis falls to the left foot of Lucho but his first-time shot lacks the necessary venom to trouble Caballero, and the goalkeeper is able to crouch down and gather the ball.
76'
Moutinho fires the set piece towards Fernando at the near post but Toulalan is able to get to the ball first and head it behind for a corner.
75'
M. Iturra gets yellow.
74'
A poor cross from Malaga's Antunes is straight into the palms of Helton and Porto are able to launch a quick counter attack through the pacy Atsu. He draws a challenge from Iturra that results in a booking for the midfielder, and now Porto have a free kick to the left of the penalty area, 40 yards from goal.
72'
Atsu gives Malaga a quick look at why he has been brought on by Pereira by rinsing Sanchez for pace over on the left. Fortunately for the Malaga full-back the winger was offside when he received the pass and play is brought back.
70'
C. Atsu enters the game and replaces M. Izmaylov.
Pereira is urging his men forward from the sidelines. The Porto players and their manager sense they can score another here. They make their second change as Ghana international Christian Atsu comes on for Izmailov.
68'
Izmailov's pass towards James is telegraph and Weligton is able to step in and casually steal possession for Malaga.
66'
Malaga have been somewhat disappointing tonight but their left-back Antunes has put in a good performance on his Champions League debut. The 25-year-old joined the Liga outfit from Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira in January.
64'
And there is Malaga's maiden substitution: Francisco Portillo replaces Joaquin, who has endured a quiet evening.
63'
Portillo enters the game and replaces Joaquín.
62'
Lucho's cross into the centre is dealt with well by Caballero though, but less than a minute passes before Porto win another corner thanks to a purposeful run from Alex on the left.
61'
Pereira's side are searching for a second goal here. Moments after James curled that shot wide Izmailov has won a corner after decent play on the left.
60'
Sanchez loses the ball on the right for Malaga, and Porto quickly work the ball to their substitute James. The Colombian cuts onto his left foot and curls a tantalising shot just wide from 25 yards!
58'
J. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces Silvestre Varela.
The home team make their first change of the evening after taking the lead, and it is an attacking one. James Rodriguez, who recently returned from injury, has come on to replace Varela.
56'
João Moutinho has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Alex Sandro.
GOALLLLL!!!! PORTO HAVE THE LEAD!! Alex Sandro curls a great pass into the box to Moutinho who slides a finish low into the net past Caballero. Porto are one up at Dragao!
55'
Porto have another free kick because of another wayward challenge from a Malaga player. On this occasion Danilo is sent sprawling to the deck by Antunes.
53'
IZMAILOV SHOOTS WIDE!! The Russian attacker has a great chance to put his side in front but he cannot divert Varela's cross on target under pressure from Demichelis. That was a good opportunity for the former Sporting Lisbon man, and he wasted it.
52'
The visitors need to get the ball to Joaquin and Isco if they wish to have an impact in this second half. They are their two most creative players, but both have been shackled well by Porto so far.
51'
Porto fail to properly clear a free kick from Joaquin and the ball eventually ends up at the feet of the overlapping Antunes on the left, but his cross into the box is off target.
50'
Malaga try and attack through Joaquin on the right and appear to have a numerical advantage but as the Spaniard dallies on the ball Porto's midfielder are able to race back and take up defensive positions.
49'
The Argentine midfielder takes the set piece himself but it does not find the head of a team-mate as Weligton beats Varela in the air to flick the ball away from goal.
48'
The home side have a decent spell of possession that ends with a shot from the edge of the box from Lucho being blocked behind for a corner.
46'
Porto kick us off and immediately launch a probing pass towards Martinez that is intercepted by Sanchez at right-back for Malaga.
45'
Mark Clattenburg has seen enough for this half, as he blows his whistle to signal for half-time.
44'
The rain is pouring down at Dragao as we edge towards half-time and it is making close control difficult for the players on both sides. Izmailov does well to work the ball on to his left foot 25 yards from the Malaga goal but the ball seems to squirm away from him as he shoots and his effort flies high and wide.
42'
Martinez is another player that has impressed in the opening period at Dragao. He has just turned Iturra inside-out on the halfway line only to get too much on his subsequent forward pass to Varela as it runs straight through to Caballero.
40'
That's a clumsy foul from Baptista. Moutinho has just been too quick with his feet for Malaga this evening. Pellegrini's team have committed numerous fouls on him in this first half.
39'
DODGY KEEPERRRRR! The Porto stopper invites pressure on himself after failing to clear the ball away first time and Santa Cruz and Baptista are quickly on his case. Eventually he does manage to hack the ball clear but it nearly goes straight to Joaquin!
37'
STAT: Porto have bossed this first half, but are yet to score. They have had seven shots while Malaga have had just one.
35'
Porto have yet another corner, but again they don't use the opportunity to get an attempt on target. Malaga clear the ball to Isco who tries to instigate a counter attack but he is quickly closed down by Danilo and Otamendi.
33'
FABULOUS DEFENDING FROM SANCHEZ!! The Malaga full-back sprints across from the right to cover Demichelis after Martinez, not the first time this evening, gets the wrong side of the Argentine and looks to move into the penalty area. The right-back gets a leg in the way as the striker goes to shoot and Caballero in the Malaga goal is able to breath a sigh of relief.
31'
Porto win a corner after Izmailov drives into the area and Weligton is forced to nip across and poke the ball behind. They fail to test Caballero though as Demichelis heads the set piece clear for Pellegrini's men.
29'
Martinez and Varela are starting to enjoy themselves for Porto. They are linking well in attack and the latter has just indulged the home support with a spot of showboating by playing a no-look flick to Izmailov 30 yards from the Malaga goal.
28'
Don't forget guys and girls you can tweet me your views on the game @charliefscott. The funniest or most insightful messages will make it into this LIVE commentary.
26'
The home side look comfortable at the moment, with Malaga not having posed a serious threat to Helton's goal yet. Pereira's side have also edged possession, 65%-35%.
24'
Iturra has got to watch his tackling here. The Malaga midfielder has given away a flurry of free kicks in the first half, the latest for a late challenge on Fernando as the Brazilian burst forward for Porto.
23'
The Paraguayan is not having much luck here. After misplacing a fairly simple pass he has just dribbled the ball over the line on the left wing. That is not what Manuel Pellegrini will be wanting with his team away from home and not seeing much of the ball!
21'
Isco plays a nice ball out to Santa Cruz on the right but he cannot find a team-mate with a pass after slaloming through a couple of Porto challenges.
20'
Porto have burst to life in the last five minutes or so and have twice come close from corners while only a vital late challenge from Antunes on Varela just now stopped the attacker from having a clear shot at goal.
18'
GREAT DEFENDING FROM ANTUNES!! Lucho slides a brilliant pass through to Varela inside the Malaga box but the Portuguese full-back dispossesses him brilliantly to avert the danger. Just moments before Varela had shot wide for Porto.
16'
FERNANDO HEADS OVER!! The Brazilian has the game's first real chance as he nods Moutinho's corner over the bar from a tight angle with his back to goal.
15'
Jackson Martinez gambled there and it very nearly paid off. Gonzalez lofted a ball towards the powerful striker but Demichelis was always going to get there first. The attacker pulled off the defender and it nearly worked as the Argentine centre-back miscontrolled the ball and Martinez almost pounced.
13'
Joaquin cuts in off the right wing for Manuel Pellegrini's side but is quickly closed down by both Fernando and Lucho Gonzalez.
11'
Malaga's dangerman Isco, meanwhile, has been quiet. Considering their vibrant front four the visitors haven't looked very switched on in the Porto half yet.
9'
Porto did very well to keep Moutinho both in the summer and during the recent January transfer window. The midfielder looks destined to play for one of the best clubs in Europe sometime soon.
8'
Joao Moutinho has shown some decent touches in the opening minutes here, with Jeremy Toulalan and Iturra resorting to fouling him twice already.
6'
Malaga's Manuel Iturra handballs just inside the Porto box which puts a stop to an attacking run from the home side's left-back Alex Sandro.
5'
SIMPLE SAVE FOR CABALLERO! The Malaga stopper gets down low to his left to stop Marat Izmailov's snapshot from sneaking in the bottom right corner after Porto had worked the ball cleverly to the Russian.
4'
Joaquin curls the corner to Isco on the edge of the Porto box but his side-footed volley is deflected through to the goalkeeper Helton.
3'
Malaga win a corner after strong forward play from Julio Baptista...
2'
Porto's Brazilian midfielder Fernando does well to get to the byline on the left and swing a cross towards Jackson Martinez but Martin Demichelis is there to head the ball away for Malaga.

The visitors get the game started at Dragao...
Good evening ladies and gents and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE coverage of the Champions League last-16 clash at Dragao between Porto and Malaga. My name is Charlie Scott and I will be guiding you through the game as it unfolds over in Portugal.
As always I'll be available on the Twitter machine throughout proceedings tonight, so do feel free to hurl your views on the match over to me @charliefscott. I would love to hear from you.
Both teams come into the game on the back of domestic wins, with Porto triumphing over Beira-Mar 2-0 on February 15 and Malaga edging past Athletic Bilbao 1-0 on February 16.
Without further ado, let's take a peek at the two side's starting XIs...
James Rodriguez only makes the bench for the Portuguese hosts having only just recovered from injury, as Marat Izmailov starts in attack alongside Jackson Martinez and Silvestre Varela. The Colombian forward could certainly make an impact coming on as a substitute though.
Malaga, meanwhile, name an attacking XI with Joaquin and Isco supporting Roque Santa Cruz and Julio Baptista. Antunes makes his Champions League debut for the club having joined in the recent transfer window after Nacho Monreal left to join Arsenal.
There is a familiar face for fans of English football refereeing tonight, as Mark Clattenburg takes the reins for this game.
HALF-TIME: PORTO 0-0 MALAGA Porto have definitely edged the first half but the score remains goalless at Dragao. Malaga, despite fielding an attractive attacking starting XI are yet to trouble Helton in the Porto goal. The home side have dominated possession and had 10 shots on goal in the opening half, but only three of those have been on target. Martinez and Moutinho, both of Porto, have been the pick of the players in the opening period here.
Join me in 10 minutes for the second half of this game. In the meantime, I want to hear your predictions for the second half and who you think will prove the difference after the break. Send your thoughts to me @charliefscott or post your comments in the box to the right of this commentary.
Out come the two teams for the second half!
FULL-TIME: PORTO 1-0 MALAGA Vitor Pereira's men dominated the match at Dragao this evening and take a deserved one-goal lead with them into the second leg. Their clean sheet also puts them in a very strong position for the tie in Malaga. Their impressive midfielder Joao Moutinho scored the only goal of the game in the second half, and in reality they perhaps should have added more to that tally as they dominated the match against Manuel Pellegrini's men.
That's all from me for this evening guys and girls. Thank you very much for joining me. Good night!
