M. Ducksch enters the game and replaces H. Mkhitaryan.
90' +1
It looks like the gulf in class may have just edged it for Dortmund here. The individual quality of Reus and Hofmann has totally changed the game.
89'
K. Kratz has scored a goal for Eintracht Braunschweig! Assist by M. Boland.
GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAL FOR Eintracht Braunschweig!!!! Boland whips in a corner kick and the ball unluckily bounces off the head of Lewandowski before going past Weidenfeller! A ray of hope for the promoted side!
86'
Penalty goal scored by M. Reus for Borussia Dortmund!
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL FOR DORTMUND!! Marco Reus steps and confidently dispatches the penalty into the bottom right corner! 2-0! Game over!
85'
PENALTY TO DORTMUND. Hofmann shows excellent endeavour to drift beyond a few challenges into the box, but is stopped in his tracks by Bicakcic, who comes in with a tired challenge! The hosts can wrap up the points here!
83'
It looks like Jurgen Klopp is close to securing his 100th Bundesliga win in charge of Dortmund, but you have to feel for Braunschweig, they've been a credit.
81'
Lewandowski is desperate to get onto the scoresheet here. He looks to take the game by the scruff of the neck as he smashes a blistering strike towards goal, but it was always rising and eventually clears the crossbar.
79'
What is Lewandowski doing there?! The Pole has the opportunity to either have a shot at goal or slide the ball out of Hofmann. In the end he does nothing and allows the Braunschweig defence to retreat back into position.
77'
O. Ademi enters the game and replaces D. Kruppke.
Braunschweig make their third change of the match, and it's a positive one. Striker, Orhan Ademi comes on for Kruppke, who's definitely put in a shift out their today.
75'
J. Hofmann has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by M. Hummels.
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALL FOR DORTMUND!!! AND IT'S JONAS HOFMANN!!! The substitute exchanges a sensational one-two with Hummels on the edge of the box and bursts towards the byline before sliding the ball in off the post! 1-0!!!
Minute
Description
73'
Not a good attempt from Boland. The substitute looks to try a near-impossible strike from the right-hand side but it predictably goes into the side-netting. The angle was always against him!
72'
Surely Braunschweig will tire as this game progresses here. There will certainly be a gulf in fitness and they've gave everything so far.
70'
LEWANDOWSKI!!! HE SHOULD BE BURYING THAT!! The Pole picks up a wayward shot from Reus and stabs a shot at goal from three yards out but Davari makes a superb save! Normally though, Lewandowski scores those!
68'
That miss will be Aubameyang's last action of the match. He'll be replaced by Jonas Hofmann, who appeared as substitute last week against Augsburg.
67'
J. Hofmann enters the game and replaces P. Aubameyang.
AUBAMEYANGGGGG!!!! IT SHOULD BE 1-0 DORTMUND!! The Gabonese latches on to a loose ball at the back post but horribly blazes a volley over the bar! What a miss!
66'
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAL FOR DORTMUND!! WAIT! NO! OFFSIDE!! Aubameyang slides the ball through to Reus and the substitute rounds the 'keeper before slotting home, but he was correctly flagged as offside.
65'
M. Boland enters the game and replaces J. Hochscheidt.
T. Perthel enters the game and replaces M. Caligiuri.
64'
Reus clips a free kick into the box and Davari unconvincingly flaps at the ball at the back post. He was lucky to get away with that one as Hummels was prowling for the loose ball!
63'
Aubameyang has moved back over to the left-hand side due to the introduction of Reus. Dortmund have some real pace and firepower on the wings now, let's see if the duo can make an impact here.
61'
The first change of the match comes from Jurgen Klopp as Marco Reus enters the fray in place of Blaszczykowski. Not exactly the man Braunschweig wanted to see coming on!
60'
N. Theuerkauf gets yellow.
M. Reus enters the game and replaces J. Błaszczykowski.
The first booking of the match goes to Theuerkauf as the Braunschweig man cynically hauls Sahin to the floor inside the centre circle. Deserved yellow card.
59'
AUBAMEYANG!!!! The Gabonese makes a late run into the box and slides a strike at goal which bounces off Davari from close range! Wait, no! It was offside anyway!
57'
Nice work from Aubameyang as he drops the shoulder and bursts down the right, but his eventual cross into the box barely bears the first man and Braunschweig once again clear rather easily. Dortmund's final ball has not been there.
55'
A slight improvement from Dortmund so far in this half but they still look rather static in the final third. The game is made for Marco Reus to come on and make the difference.
53'
Disappointing again from Sahin. The Turk has had a few long-range attempts at goal during the game but none have looked like bothering Davari in the Braunschweig goal.
51'
BENDER!!!! That was INCHES wide!! The German breaks out of midfield and lashes a right-footed strike towards goal that looks destined towards the bottom corner, only to just bend away at the last minute! I don't think Davari was getting to that one!
49'
Aubameyang steps up and attempts to hit the free kick towards goal in a Cristiano Ronaldo style but his strike bounces off the top of the Braunschweig wall and goes clear to the left-hand side. Disappointing from the Gabon international.
48'
Lewandowski looks to swivel sharply on the edge of the box and get a strike away but he is hacked down by Caligiuri. Free kick to Dortmund in a useful position 30 yards out.
47'
No changes at the break from either side.
46'
WE ARE BACK UNDER WAY IN DORTMUND!
45'
One minute of added time in Dortmund. Can anyone grab a late, late first half goal?
43'
Lewandowski takes two or three neat touches on the edge of the box and looks to exchange a one-two with Mkhitaryan, but Marcel just edged out of defence to stab the ball away.
41'
Superb defender from Sokratis and Hummels! Jackson looks to latch on to a driven pass through the middle but the German and the Greek used a combination of slides and sly nudges to claw the ball back.
39'
Braunschweig are starting to carry more of a threat and Dortmund are looking unusually shaky at the back. Jackson just got into a decent position inside the box and it took three defenders and Weidenfeller to eventually claim possession back for the hosts.
37'
SAHIIIIIIIIIN!!!! How close was that?! The Turk whips the set-piece over the ball but it goes just over the bar! Half the Westfalenstadion thought that strike was in, but we remain at 0-0.
36'
Good opportunity for Dortmund here. Mkhitaryan gets in a pocket of space in front of goal but is cynically brought down. Free kick to the hosts 25 yards from goal.
34'
In amongst that melee there Sokratis saved Dortmund with an absolutely outstanding block from a Simeon Jackson strike.
33'
Theuerkauf!!! THAT WAS INCHES WIDE!! Some lackadaisical defending from Dortmund allows the German to burst onto the ball at the edge of the box and volley towards goal, but it just evades the post by a whisker! The hosts nearly shot themselves in the foot there!
31'
Very wasteful from Braunschweig. Kratz has the opportunity to get the ball into the box with a corner kick from the left-hand side but he barely gets it beyond the first man. Torsten Lieberknecht will not be happy with that one!
29'
Klopp's men have had a few attempts from distance now, but none have gave Davari in the Braunschweig goal much trouble.
28'
Sahin is the latest Dortmund player to try their luck from distance. The former Real Madrid man receives the ball inside and looks to drill a strike to the top corner but once again the attempt goes over the bar.
26'
Dortmund are just starting to assert their authority on proceedings. Bender and Sahin are seeing a lot more of the ball in central areas which is nullifying the threat posed by the Braunschweig front three.
24'
Mkhitaryan tries his luck 25 yards out but his attempt floats into the yellow sea of Dortmund fans. Klopp applauds the idea despite the shot being off target.
22'
Aubameyang links up well with Lewandowski down the left-hand side but
Braunschweig remain solid to clear away from danger. That particular duo were devastating against Augsburg last week, so let's see if we will see more of the same.
20'
Bicakcic is given a warning by the ref as he goes in rather over-zealous on Aubameyang. The former Saint Etienne man looks to be okay though, and the play can continue. No harm done.
18'
Braunschweig look to break into the Dortmund have once again but Sven Bender is on hand to clean up the counterattack and retain possession for the hosts.
16'
Superb goalkeeping from Davari!! Blaszczykowski bulldozes his way into the Braunschweig but the ball is clawed away by the oncoming 'keeper of the visitors! Brave play there from the man between the sticks!
14'
Almost for Aubameyang!! Dortmund's new signing gets beyond the opposition defence and round's Davari, only to just take a heavy touch to the byline. Lewandowski looks to get on the end of a cross into the box but Marcel just beats him to it to clear.
12'
Decent start from the newly-promoted side. They haven't showed too much fear inside the intimidating Westfalenstadion, but it's Dortmund who've had the better of the opening stages.
11'
It's Schmelzer's turn to get down the wing this time. The left-back gallops into the Braunschweig half and looks to whip the ball beyond the defence for Mkhitaryan, but Davari comes off his line to collect possession.
9'
Blaszczykowski bursts down the right-hand side and teases a superb cross to the back post, but there's no takers for Dortmund and Elabdellaoui heads out of the box.
7'
Robert Lewandowski makes his 100th Bundesliga appearance tonight. I wonder whether he'll mark the occassion with a goal. He got off the mark in the competition this season last week when he netted against Augsburg.
5'
What a block from the Braunschweig defence! Mkhitaryan turns sharply on the edge of the box and rattles a strike at goal, but the visitors bravely hounded down the strike to stop the path to goalkeeper, Davari.
4'
Aubameyang looks to run in behind the defence and latch on to Schmelzer's long ball but Marcel does well to stretch up and head the ball to safety.
3'
Almost in for Braunschweig!! The visitors nearly take an unlikely early lead as Kruppke makes a late run into the box but his slid attempt at goal flashes by the post! The Dortmund defence were posted missing there!

WE ARE UNDER WAY IN DORTMUND!
Good afternoon folks, welcome to our coverage of the Bundesliga clash between Dortmund and Eintracht Braunschweig at the Westfalenstadion!
I'm Martin Macdonald, and I'll be taking you through the action!
Torsten Lieberknecht's side are newly promoted to the top flight, and didn't particularly enjoy their return to the Bundesliga. In their opening match of the season, they went down 1-0 to Werder Bremen.
Conversely, the hosts have won all three of their competitive fixtures this season.
Last week, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the star of the show against Augsburg, announcing his arrival with a hat-trick in the one-sided affair, in which Jurgen Klopp's men came out 4-0 winners.
It's a rainy day in Dortmund though, which team will the adverse weather favour?
The players have took to the field now and we are almost ready for kick-off!
The Westfalenstadion is bouncing this afternoon, they are going to enjoy their first home Bundesliga game this season!
Half time in Signal-Iduna-Park. Dortmund haven't really been at the races so far as the newly promoted Braunschweig frustrate the Champions League finalists, who are lacking in some creativity. Join us in 15 minutes for the second half!
Full time in Signal-Iduna-Park. Jurgen Klopp's substitutes have been effective as Jonas Hofmann and Marco Reus came off the bench to give the Champions League finalists a narrow 2-1 win over the newly-promoted Eintracht Braunschweig. The visitors were given a ray of hope in the latter stages thanks to a Robert Lewandowski own goal, but Dortmund held on for a hard-fought win. Thanks for joining us! I'm Martin Macdonald, see you next time!
