D. Meyler has scored a goal for Hull City! Assist by Ahmed El Mohamady.
GOAL!!! Hull City are on their way to their first FA Cup final! Meyler is the fan to finish the Blades off as they break forward through Elmohamady on the right, and the midfielder finishes clinically across Howard.
90' +2
Brayford and Harris both see shots blocked before Maguire takes the ball to the edge of the box. Chester has to be aware to make the block.
90'
J. Murphy has scored a goal for Sheffield United!
GOAL!!! They can't, can they? Harris delivers the ball into the box, and after Flynn's header is blocked, Murphy turns it home from close range. Sheffield United have three minutes to find an equaliser.
89'
Hull almost have fifth as Livermore crosses from the right for Aluko to get a shot away, but Howard gets down well to his right to save.
87'
Sheffield United's fan urge their side on but their patient build-up play isn't getting them anywhere. They've got to take some risks now you feel.
85'
The Blades are doing everything they can to try and break the Hull defence down, but Davies and Chester are holding firm.
83'
C. Porter enters the game and replaces S. Scougall.
B. Davies enters the game and replaces J. Baxter.
Finally Porter and Davies make their way on, with Scougall and Baxter, the two goalscorers, the men withdrawn.
81'
Sheffield United are planning two changes, with Porter and Davies getting some final instructions on the touchline. They won't have much time to make an impact though, with less than ten minutes to go.
79'
Aluko creates a half-chance for himself as he turns Maguire and runs goalwards. Collins manages to get across and force an early shot from the former Rangers man, and he cannot get it on target.
Minute
Description
78'
Clough and his coaching team are busy discussing how they go about getting back into this one. They are still to make a substitution and time is running out.
76'
Hull are looking more and more comfortable the longer this game goes on. They have just 15 minutes to hang on for a place in the final.
74'
Clough is still to make any changes, and though they are looking to push forward at every opportunity, one thinks an out-and-out striker such as Porter may well be required sooner rather than later.
72'
Rosenior has been excellent since switching to left-back at half-time, and he again gets across well to block Flynn's goalbound effort from the edge of the box.
70'
The Blades are going for this, and after Brayford heads the ball across goal, Flynn's overhead kick isn't controlled and flies well over the crossbar.
69'
I'm not sure Clough or Sheffield United can believe what has happened here. They looked so comfortable in the first half but the change in Hull's system has turned this game on its head. They have 20 minutes to stay in the FA Cup.
67'
S. Quinn has scored a goal for Hull City! Assist by J. Livermore.
GOAL!!! Hull may well have one foot in the final now. Quinn, once of Sheffield United, is the man to find the net as Meyler plays in Livermore, who in turn can cross for Quinn and the midfielder heads in at the back post. Clough may well have change things now.
66'
Hull have done well with their corners, and Huddlestone's ball into the box creates another opportunity as Meyler heads down at the back post, only for the ball to bounce over the top of Howard's crossbar.
64'
S. Quinn enters the game and replaces Y. Sagbo.
Hull make their third and final change as Quinn replaces Sagbo on the left-hand side. It seems the striker has picked up an injury, so Bruce's hand has been forced rather earlier than he would have liked.
63'
Huddlestone and Livermore are having much more impact on this match now, and they combine well again as the former hits a powerful effort from 25 yards that Howard needs two grabs at before holding on.
61'
Flynn has become more involved in the last few minutes, and he again picks the ball up on the right and looks to find Baxter in the box. Harper reads the cross, though, and gets up well to catch.
59'
Chance for Sheffield United as Coady cuts inside and plays a lovely pass through for Flynn. He looks set to pull the trigger but Rosenior gets across to make a fine challenge.
58'
Hull have reverted to the players and formation that started the quarter-final win over Sunderland, and the Tigers players look much more comfortable with the new system.
56'
The Hull fans sing 'You're not singing anymore', and it seems they believe the tide has turned and they are heading for the FA Cup final. Don't write off the Blades yet though.
54'
T. Huddlestone has scored a goal for Hull City! Assist by D. Meyler.
GOAL!!! What a turnaround! Bruce's changes are paying dividends as Huddlestone picks up the ball on the halfway line, trades passes with Meyler before breaking into the box and curling into the corner. Bruce is jumping for joy and rightly so. The Tigers lead.
53'
After the shock of conceding so early in the second half, Sheffield United finally manage to get their foot on the ball and enjoy some possession. Clough is carrying a worried expression in his technical area, however.
51'
GOAL!? OFFSIDE! Aluko and Fryatt are at it again as the former plays the latter in behind, but as he rounds Howard to stroke home, the flag is rightly raised for offside and his celebrations are cut short.
49'
M. Fryatt has scored a goal for Hull City! Assist by J. Chester.
GOAL!!! Hull back in it straight away, and with almost his first touch Fryatt has grabbed the goal. The corner comes in from the left, and after Davies finds Sagbo with a header, Chester gets a shot away that Fryatt can turn home from close range. Bruce is jubilant - a superb substitution!
48'
Aluko certainly looks bright as he presses Harris deep inside the Sheffield United half before Brayford concedes a corner.
46'
M. Fryatt enters the game and replaces G. Boyd.
S. Aluko enters the game and replaces M. Figueroa.
Bruce has given his side a real shake-up, and straight away Aluko is involved in laying off Meyler, but the midfielder's effort is wayward and never troubling Howard.
Hull have in fact made two changes, with Fryatt and Aluko replacing Figueroa and Boyd. The two subsitutes then kick-off and we are back underway...
45' +1
Into two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half, and Bruce is fuming on the touchline. I'm not sure he can believe that his side have let it slip so soon after equalising.
44'
S. Scougall has scored a goal for Sheffield United! Assist by J. Murphy.
GOAL!!! What a reaction from Sheffield United as they go straight back up the other end and retake the lead. Murphy does brilliantly to leave Rosenior for dead before crossing for Scougall, and the youngster fires an effort into the roof of the net. Hull again poor in defence.
42'
Y. Sagbo has scored a goal for Hull City! Assist by J. Livermore.
GOAL!!! As if by magic, the Tigers get their equaliser through Sagbo. Livermore and Elmohamady trade passes before the Tottenham loanee slides the ball across goal, and Sagbo can poke home. Bruce punches the air in delight.
40'
Rosenior gets down the right and sends a good ball towards Sagbo. The striker almost gets there but Howard manages to collect. Hull could do with a goal before half-time.
38'
Every Sheffield United pass is being met with an 'ole' from the travelling Blades fans. They are loving this as they move ever closer to becoming the first side from the third tier to reach the FA Cup final.
36'
Huddlestone's frustrations are starting to boil over as he kicks out at Doyle, though the Blades can't make anything of the resulting free-kick.
34'
Long and Jelavic are really being missed by Hull. They are having to adapt their usual style with Sagbo replacing them, and they don't seem to have been able to adapt. We may well see Fryatt early in the second half if this pattern continues.
32'
Howard is yet to be sufficiently tested by the Hull attacking players, and those who have travelled from Humberside are starting to get restless. Huddlestone has now moved deeper, however, and is picking up more of the ball.
30'
Hull are eventually enjoying a decent spell of possession, but they are doing very little with it. All very comfortable for Clough's charges.
28'
Hull's struggles so far is down to the fact that they are failing to get Huddlestone involved. He is playing just behind Sagbo but much of the Tigers' play is passing him by as they look for the striker instead.
26'
Finally Hull have a shot in anger as the Maguire's headed clearance lands at Huddlestone's feet, but his shot is deflected wide. The fomer Spurs man then takes the corner, but Howard claims before being fouled.
24'
Hull are all over the place at the back and Scougall has an opportunity to double the Blades' lead. Pinball on the edge of the area ends with him shooting over the bar, much to the frustration of Clough on the bench.
23'
Some concern here for Sheffield United as Scougall stays down after challenging Meyler. Eventually the young Scot picks himself up and is able to carry on.
21'
Brayford is having a big influence on this game from right-back, and he is peppering the Hull defence with balls into the box as another cross is cleared by Davies. Hull need to pick it up here as they are struggling to compete.
19'
J. Baxter has scored a goal for Sheffield United! Assist by J. Brayford.
GOAL!!! Sheffield United have dominated, and now they have the lead. Brayford is allowed far too much time to cross from the right and Baxter gets ahead of Chester to poke home from six yards. A well-deserved lead for the League One side, and their fans are jubilant.
18'
Baxter looks to threaten as he cuts inside from the left but Davies is well aware of the danger and is able to make the challenge. The Hull skipper is showing the form that has sen him tipped by some as an outsider for England's World Cup squad.
16'
Hull are the side who look nervous, with a number of their passes not quite finding their mark. Sheffield United have edged this one so far, though Harper is yet to be tested in the Hull goal.
14'
D. Meyler gets yellow.
Meyler picks up the first booking of the afternoon as he goes through the back of Scougall and is rightly cautioned by referee Marriner.
13'
Hull look to get Sagbo in behind this time and he gets clear of Collins, but Howard is able to get off his line quickly and field the forward pass.
11'
Sagbo isn't holding the ball up well enough for Hull and the Blades are able to get the ball forward regularly at the moment. Bruce will be wanting much more from his imposing striker as he leads the line on his own.
9'
Elmohamady looks to get down the right-hand side but Coady is able to get back at him and force the ball out for a goal kick. Confident start from the League One side.
7'
Little in the way of goalmouth action in the early stages with both sides still feeling each other out. Hull have packed midfield and are at present holding off Sheffield United's advances.
5'
Sagbo comes deep to get involved for the first time, but he is unable to find Boyd and the Blades can get it clear. The Premier League outfit are struggling to impose themselves on this game.
3'
Plenty of tackles going in during the opening moments, with Sheffield United looking to impose themselves inside the Tigers' half. Baxter already looks bright and is keeping Davies busy.
1'
Sheffield United kick-off and we are underway...
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the FA Cup semi-final between Hull City and Sheffield United. The two Yorkshire sides have beaten off more fancied opposition to make it here, and are now just 90 minutes away from taking on Arsenal in the final. I'm Tom Maston and I'll be guiding you through all the action from Wembley this afternoon.
Steve Bruce's Hull side have already had a memorable season on their return to the Premier League, with their safety almost assured for next season. They now head into a semi-final as big favourites and could realistically mark the season with a trophy come May. Bruce has done a wonderful job and will be keen to get one over the club that gave him his managerial chance.
Sheffield United have worked miracles to reach the last four despite playing in League One, knocking out Premier League sides Aston Villa and Fulham on their way to Wembley. Nigel Clough has led them there as well as clear of relegation trouble, and he is now eyeing the only prize his father, Brian, was never able to win as a manager.
Before we go any further, the two team line-ups are in ahead of kick-off...
Hull are without star strikers Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic due them being cup-tied, so Yannick Sagbo starts up front on his own. George Boyd is also selected ahead of Sone Aluko after scoring the winner against West Brom last time out.
Sheffield United subs: Long, Hill, Porter, McGinn, Davies, Freeman, Kennedy.
Sheffield United rested eight players in midweek ahead of today's match, so they are at pretty much full-strength. Chris Porter, who has four goals in the competition already, must wait for his opportunity from the bench.
Today's match kicks-off at the slightly bizarre time of 16:07 BST, but it is not without good reason. In 1989, 96 Liverpool fans lost their lives at Hillsborough in one of modern football's worst stadium disasters. Tuesday marks the 25th anniversary of the tragedy, and as a mark of respect the FA has pushed back the kick-off times of each match this weekend to reflect the time at which the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest was stopped. There will be a minute's silence ahead of kick-off as a mark of respect.
There is a fantastic atmosphere inside Wembley with both clubs bringing a large number of fans down from Yorkshire with them. The teams are in the tunnel and will be able to hear their supporters singing their hearts out.
Curtis Davies and Michael Doyle are carrying wreaths out onto the field as a mark of respect to the Hillsborough victims. A reminder, a win here may well lead to a place in Europe next season should Arsenal secure either a Champions League or Europa League spot via the Premier League.
The two teams are going through the pre-match niceties and we are just three minutes from kick-off. After the drama of yesterday's semi-final, this game has a lot to live up to.
FA chairman Greg Dyke carries a wreath out onto the pitch to be placed alongside those brought out by both teams. There will now be a minute's silence to remember Hillsborough and the 96 fans that passed away.
Some applause inside Wembley as the names of this that died on April 15 1989 are shown on the scoreboards around the ground. We are now set to kick-off in this semi-final...
Marriner blows the half-time whistle and Clough runs down the tunnel, no doubt very pleased with the way his side have played during that first period. Goals from Baxter and Scougall have put them on the cusp of making history.
For their part, Hull did get better as the half wore on, though they will be disappointed with the way they conceded both goals. Huddlestone and Livermore need to exert more control in the middle of the park while Sagbo must hold it up more effectively. I'll be back in ten minutes to see if they can turn this one around.
The two teams are making their way out onto the pitch as we move closer to the start of the second half. It will be interesting to see if Bruce makes any changes as he looks to chase the game in the second half.
And after a rollercoaster 90 minutes, the final whistle finally goes, and the Hull fans can begin the celebrations. They will be back here in five weeks to take on Arsenal despite a spirited display from League One Sheffield United.
Bruce can take a lot of credit for this win after he changed the whole system at half-time while two of his substitutes found the net. Aluko also made a great impact, and now they must assure their safety in the Premier League ahead of the final. For now, though, I've been Tom Maston, and thanks for joining me.
