It is all over at the Allianz-Arena! Bayern kick-start their title defence with three points after a thrilling final 45 minutes!
90' +2
Grun is having an inspired match! He has made some wonderful saves and he makes another now to deny Bernat. He pushes it behind for a corner, but that may be enough for Bayern to wind the final seconds off the clock here.
90'
P. Højbjerg enters the game and replaces G. Gaudino.
Three minutes of time to be added on...
89'
ROBBEN OFF THE BAR! Rode creates a turnover and sends a magnificent ball forward for the Dutchman to chase. He gets on the end of it and beats Grun on the partial break, but cannot beat the crossbar!
87'
M. Arnold gets yellow.
Bayern appear to be growing tired now. The likes of Robben, Lahm and Muller, who had a lengthy stay in the World Cup, are losing their legs a bit in the final moments. Can Wolfsburg take advantage?
85'
WHAT A MISS BY CALIGIURI! He gets between Dante and Lahm to get his head to a ball, but cannot direct it on target! Free header for the midfielder, who really should have done better there.
83'
DEBUT GOAL FOR RODE! Or it at least looked to be that way. He sends something of a hybrid shot-pass to Muller, who appears to get the slightest of touches on it. The goal is given, but after a brief consultation between the referee and linesman, it is called back on an offside.
81'
The game has really sprung to life now! Back and forth we go as we enter the final 10 minutes. Can Bayern hold on or will Wolfsburg find an equalizer?
79'
OH MY GOODNESS! JUNIOR MALANDA WITH ONE OF THE MOST UNFORTUNATE MISSES YOU WILL EVER SEE! This has to be a wake up call for Bayern Munich! Arnold sends an exquisite ball into the area to pick out the run of Malanda, but Neuer gets the slightest of touches to turn it onto the bar. It bounces back to the feet of an unsuspecting Malanda, who directs it wide of the gaping net! Incredible opportunity and it really should be level!
78'
S. Rode enters the game and replaces R. Lewandowski.
Minute
Description
77'
Dante steamrolls through Olic as the two of them charge for a lose ball in the penalty area. The referee sees nothing wrong with the challenge, which appeared to be shoulder to shoulder, sending Olic flying to the ground.
75'
STAT ATTACK: Olic's goal was just Wolfsburg's second in their last six league visits to the Allianz-Arena.
73'
Third and final substitution for the visitors as they bring on Belgium under-21 international Junior Malanda in place of Luiz Gustavo. Meanwhile, Caligiuri makes a nice interception and gets the ball forward, but some lovely back tracking by Philipp Lahm sniffs out the opportunity.
72'
B. Malanda enters the game and replaces Luiz Gustavo.
71'
Ricardo Rodriguez whips in a free kick from about the half-way line, and sends it into a dangerous area. Dante cannot get there, but no one on Wolfsburg attacks it, much to the dismay of the left-back.
69'
Luiz Gustavo gets yellow.
Alaba takes, and manages to direct his left footed shot on target, but safely into the hands of Grun who gets down and makes a comfortable stop.
68'
Luiz Gustavo is show the first yellow card of the match, something he is no stranger to. But it provides Bayern with a bit of a chance here from the free kick, about 30 yards out.
66'
The corner comes to nothing, but possession remains with the Wolves. Much more intent shown by Dieter Hecking's men getting forward, but still they are having a difficult time translating their possession into scoring chances.
64'
Wolfsburg with a nice spell of possession, coupled with their goal, has taken the crowd out of the game at the moment. The visitors win themselves a corner as Dante rushes to clear a ball that Neuer appeared to have an easy path to collect.
62'
X. Shaqiri enters the game and replaces M. Götze.
BERNAT DOES JUST ENOUGH! Wolfsburg really making things interesting now! Neuer charges out of his goal, but fails to get a piece of the ball as De Bruyne nicks it past the keeper. He is clean in on goal, but cannot out-muscle the Spaniard who manages to clear the would be equalizer.
60'
D. Caligiuri enters the game and replaces Vieirinha.
STAT ATTACK: Wolfsburg’s past 10 away matches in the league have seen both teams score, and have averaged 3.4 goals per game.
58'
FANTASTIC SAVE BY GRUN! Excellent build-up from the hosts. Muller finds Alaba, who sends a lovely ball forward for Lewandowski, springing him clean in on goal, but he is denied by Grun, who makes himself big as he charges out to make a very important save!
56'
Possession is back with Bayen again, but Wolfsburg have a spring in their step, pressing the ball with real purpose in midfield. Some excellent work forces Bayern to retreat back to the defence.
54'
Subdued celebrations from Olic, but his goal has provided the visiting side with some life! If anything, it should make for an exciting conclusion to the match.
52'
I. Olić has scored a goal for Wolfsburg! Assist by Vieirinha.
GOOOOOAL! STUNNING FINISH FROM IVICA OLIC!
Ivica Olic takes a harmless looking throw-in at the edge of the area, turns past Bernat and unleashes a brilliant strike off the underside of the bar and into the back of the net. Magnificent strike from the ex-Bayern man. And just like that, it is game on again at the Allianz-Arena!
49'
Wolfsburg really have their work cut out for them now. Trailing 2-0, they may as well put everything they have into attack and finding a way back into this game, because as things stand, that looks very unlikely.
47'
A. Robben has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by R. Lewandowski.
GOOOAL! ROBBEN MAKES IT 2-0!
Horrendous giveaway by Guilavogui in midfield, as he lazily loses concentration and is dispossessed by the Dutchman, who runs at the defence with real purpose, and curls a left-footed shot past Grun.
46'
M. Arnold enters the game and replaces A. Hunt.
The second half is underway in Munich! One substitution to talk about, and it is Maximilian Arnold who comes on to play in the number 10 role in place of Aaron Hunt, who never managed to stamp his authority on the match in this, his competitive debut.
45'
Very few stoppages in the first half, which means there is no time to be added on here as the referee sounds his whistle. Thomas Muller's goal separates the two sides as we head into the break.
43'
STAT ATTACK: Bayern have won six consecutive league matches against Wolfsburg and eight straight head to head meetings.
41'
Bayern win successive corners, the second of which falls for an unmarked Mario Gotze inside the area. He opts to try a difficult volley, but can not direct it on target as the pressure on the Wolfsburg goal is finally relieved... for now.
39'
The goal has done nothing to wake Wolfsburg up. Their front four have been invisible and no one is capable of holding the ball up it seems. This crowd is getting louder as well, which is not making life any easier on the visitors.
37'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by A. Robben.
GOAL FOR BAYERN! THOMAS MULLER!
Robben puts in some wonderful work along the right as he streaks forward and into the area. He sends a lovely ball across the face of goal, and Muller gets the faintest of touches to direct it in at the far post. It has been coming for some time now, and the hosts finally have their breakthrough.
34'
STAT ATTACK: Bayern have gone 19 Bundesliga matches in August and September without suffering defeat.
32'
Chances a plenty now for Bayern. Lewandowski is really starting to make his presence felt up top with some wonderful movement. Wolfsburg really on their back heels at the moment. They need to find a way to keep the ball for an extended period and slow down the tempo or they may not survive the rest of this first half.
30'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR LEWANDOWSKI! Lahm sends a ball over the top that the striker meets acrobatically. He extends at full length to direct it onto goal, but another fantastic display of goalkeeping keeps the game scoreless!
28'
SUPERB GOALKEEPING! Arjen Robben sends a pass into the area, that is deflected onto the feet of Thomas Muller. His shot is stopped, but Lewandowski gets on the rebound. He tries to dribble past the Grum, who does exceptionally well to get a hand to the ball and sniff out the chance.
26'
The real problem for Wolfsburg at the moment is a lack of movement from the attacking players. They can not seem to pass their way out of their own half as the options for the ball-carrier are few and far between. This is allowing Bayern to get back on the ball quickly and keep up the pressure.
24'
Bayern are starting to take the match over a bit as Wolfsburg enjoy less and less time on the ball. The fans are chanting with real gusto now as they get behind their team. Still no breakthrough as we pass the half-way mark of the opening frame.
22'
TOO UNSELFISH FROM MULLER! A fantastic through ball from Lewandowski sends Muller in on goal, but instead of having a go, he opts to try and pass it across to Robben. Rodriguez gets a foot to the pass and the chance comes to nothing!
20'
STAT ATTACK: Thomas Muller scored three goals and added an assist in two league matches against Wolfsburg last season.
18'
Robben with a good effort on his left foot! Bayern win their first corner of the match, but Dante can not get to it at the near post. Wolfsburg clear, but it is given away quickly to Robben who breaks in again. The Dutchman cuts onto his left and blasts his shot through the mass of bodies, but straight into the arms of Grun who does well to hold on and prevent any rebound.
16'
NEARLY THE OPENER FOR WOLFSBURG! A dreadful mistake by Manuel Neuer, who gives the ball away straight to Vieirinha. The midfielder runs into the area and sends a low cross to Olic, but it is defended well by Dante. All it needed was a touch and the reigning champions would find themselves behind!
14'
Lewandowski makes his presence felt for the first time. He makes a nice run into the area, but a heavy pass runs through to Grun before the striker can get a touch on it. Just an early warning sign, perhaps, from Lewandowski.
13'
First shot on goal, and it falls to Thomas Muller. Philipp Lahm sends a long ball over the top of the defence, for the striker to run under. He gets on the end of it and has a go from a tight angle that Grun is able to stop with ease.
11'
Again Bayern give it away, and it results in a chance for the visitors. Kevin De Bruyne pushes forward and picks out newcomer Sebastian Jung. The right-back sees his shot deflected, but is able to follow up and cross it into the area. The ball in is dealt with well by Dante as the chance goes begging.
9'
Rather uncharacteristically, the hosts have been sloppy in possession through the opening minutes. Some good pressing from Wolfsburg in midfield has kept Bayern pinned in their own end. They have yet to enjoy a spell of possession in the attacking half.
7'
Great punch by Neuer! The corner is whipped in and flicked on at the near post. The headed pass is attacked by Gustavo and Guilavogui, but Neuer beats them to it to punch clear. He also wins a free kick as he is toppled over by the Brazilian holding midfielder.
5'
The visitors are enjoying the bulk of possession early on. Bayern are pressing well in midfield, but a ball played over the top result in a corner kick, the first of the match.
3'
Wolfsburg get some early pressure as Kevin De Bruyne wins a throw in deep in Bayern territory. An errant pass intended for Ricardo Rodriguez goes out of play, and possession is conceded.

The 2014-15 Bundesliga season is underway! Wolfsburg kick-off in front of a spirited crowd at the Allianz-Arena. The visitors, moving left to right, are wearing their light green tops, with Bayern sporting their red and blue stripes.
And so it begins! After quite the exciting summer break, the World Champions' domestic league kicks off this evening with Wolfsburg taking on Bayern Munich at the Allianz-Arena. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
After missing out on the fourth and final Champions League spot by a single point last season, Wolfsburg enter 2014-15 hungry and looking for more. Dieter Hecking made a number of signings to strengthen his team, including the likes of Sebastian Jung, Aaron Hunt and Nicklas Bendtner, as Die Wolfe look to make some noise in the Bundesliga this season.
The teams have been announced, so let us have ourselves a look at the starting line-ups:
Wolfsburg have their own lengthy injury list, which includes the likes of Ivan Perisic (shoulder), Felipe Lopes (vascular problem), Patrich Ochs (knee) and Christian Trasch (shoulder). New arrivals Joshua Guilavogui, Sebastian Jung and Aaron Hunt make their debut, while Nicklas Bendtner has not been included in the team.
STAT ATTACK: Wolfsburg have never won a match at the Allianz-Arena, losing 19 times and drawing once, back in 2001.
Just moments away from kick-off as the new season gets set to start! Anticipation is through the roof at the Allianz-Arena as Bayern get set to begin their title defence - and what a match we have to start things off!
Pep Guardiola's men look scary as ever entering the 2014-15 season. Robert Lewandowski, Pepe Reina, Sebastian Rode and Juan Bernat arrived in Munich during the summer in the hopes of bringing Die Roten back to the top of Europe's elite, after crashing out of the Champions League at the hands of eventual winners Real Madrid in the semi-finals last season. Bayern had the Bundesliga title wrapped up in record time last year, clinching the trophy before the end of March. Will it be so easy this time around?
Kick-off has been delayed a bit by a pre-match ceremony to commemorate the start of the new season. The anthem is about to begin and we should be underway shortly.
Bayern are without Jerome Boateng (suspended), Rafinha (ankle), Javi Martinez (knee), Bastian Schweinsteiger (knee), Thiago Alcantara (knee), Franck Ribery (knee) as their list of absentees begins to pile up. Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski and Juan Bernat make their Bundesliga debut with the club. Pep Guardiola's 3-4-3 system sees Arjen Robben deployed on the right side of midfield where his defensive responsibilities will be greatly increased. The Dutchman played as a centre forward under Van Gaal's similar system with the Netherlands during the World Cup. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Gianluca Gaudino makes his debut with the senior team in the centre of midfield.
HALF-TIME: BAYERN 1-0 WOLFSBURG. After a lethargic start to the match, the hosts sprung to life and really took the game to Dieter Hecking's men. Some fantastic goalkeeping from Grun has kept the match in reach for Wolfsburg, but they have failed to pose much of a threat on the Bayern defence. We will see if some half-time changes can help that.
Wolfsburg have plenty of attacking options available to them coming off the bench, and may look to bring on youngster Maximilian Arnold in midfield in the hopes of providing a better link between the defenders and forwards.
FULL-TIME: BAYERN 2-1 WOLFSBURG. The first half was nothing to write home about, with the hosts dictating play, but the match really sprung to life after the break. Chances a plenty from both sides, some splendid goalkeeping and a shocking miss by Junior Malanda proved to be enough for the defending champions to hold on for a hard fought victory.
I am Alex Moretto, and I would like to thank you all for joining me here today. Good-bye!
