Barely time to restart the game from the free kick before the referee signals for full time!
90' +5
DRAMA AT THE END! Neuer has to bail out a defender as he races some 35 yards from his goal line to get to the ball ahead of Stieber. However, he runs into hot water when Green catches him in possession, but he's lucky that the referee stopped the match to book him for his petulant reaction!
90' +4
M. Neuer gets yellow.
Last chance of the match goes begging as Lewandowski takes too long to shift the ball to his right foot on the edge of the box, leading to Hamburg getting a deflection on his shot that takes it through easily for Drobny to smother. Is that it?
90' +2
P. Højbjerg gets yellow.
We're well into injury time now, of which the fourth official has signaled four minutes. It would be cruel of the cosmos to deny Hamburg the result now. Bayern deserve exactly what they're currently getting.
90' +1
J. Drobný gets yellow.
90'
Westermann slips up for a second to allow Muller a route through on goal and suddenly Hamburg are watching their point slip away with the Bayern man clear on Drobny. However, Westermann cleans up his own mess with a great recovery tackle.
88'
The end of the road for Nicolai Muller, after an absolutely heroic performance here. Constant tracking back and harrying in midfield, a menace off the ball and as he showed in that last Holtby setup, he can create danger as well. What a game! On comes Matti Steinmann.
87'
M. Steinmann enters the game and replaces N. Müller.
86'
HOLTBY MISSES! Green does excellently to keep a hold of the ball under pressure from two players, and he lays it off to Muller who quickly releases Holtby just ahead of Dante. The former Spurs man has just enough space for the shot but from 18 yards, he fires well over the bar!
84'
Drobny shows his capability in the air with a leaping catch to smother Boateng's deep cross ahead of the leap of Pizarro. He's not put a single finger out of place, the Hamburg keeper.
Minute
Description
82'
V. Behrami gets yellow.
Boateng gets a flashback from Wednesday evening in Munich and cracks a drive at goal from all of 25 yards. He doesn't come close to making lightning strike twice, with the ball closer to the corner flag than anything.
80'
This is the only goalless game left in the Bundesliga, with 10 minutes to go in the fixtures across the board. As things stand, Bayern would drop to third place and it would be lowly Paderborn, the newly-promoted side, who would take top spot if they can hold onto a 1-0 lead against Hannover.
78'
Signs that Bayern are starting to get frustrated with life at the moment, as Gotze concedes a careless foul on Holtby in plain sight of both benches. The final-third action is drying up for the Bavarian giants.
76'
J. Green enters the game and replaces P. Lasogga.
Julian Green has entered the fray for Lasogga. The United States international and Bayern loanee faces off against his parent club. He was on the scoresheet for his country in a losing effort against Belgium in the World Cup, bringing his name into the spotlight.
74'
Everyone in the Imtech Arena had hearts in mouths for a second, when Muller found space to let fly with a half volley. However, Djourou closed the gap down just in time, deflecting the shot out for a corner with his backside.
72'
Another wasted corner from the visitors is nowhere near its intended target of Pizarro. Time is starting to tick away here, with 18 minutes plus stoppage time remaining for Bayern to snatch a goal.
70'
Look who's back defending - Nicolai Muller! He nips the ball off Gotze's toes inside his own area with a clean tackle. All hands to the pump for HSV it seems, as Bayern dominate the ball.
68'
It's almost a 4-2-4 from Bayern at the moment, with Lewandowski, Gotze, Pizarro and Muller all forming a line on the shoulder of the defence. Bayern are overloading now and going for the win, can Hamburg finish what they started?
67'
P. Jiráček enters the game and replaces T. Arslan.
66'
R. Lewandowski enters the game and replaces X. Shaqiri.
Guardiola doesn't wait long to make his final change of the game. On comes Lewandowski and off goes Shaqiri, who, like many of his teammates, never got up to full speed. HSV respond to Bayern's final change with their first, as the hardworking Arslan is replaced by Petr Jiracek.
64'
Nicolai Muller really deserves something for his performance today. Pressing from the front, he's kept the defence honest, and has come close to breaking through with his splendid movement off the ball. His latest contribution is to win a header from a corner that misses the target.
62'
Rafinha departs and Gotze steps in for Bayern. That will see Lahm drop to right back, with Alaba and Alonso at the base of midfield. Gotze, Muller and Shaqiri will roam around Pizarro in the final third. It looks like a standard 4-2-3-1 - is that bowing to convention from Guardiola?
61'
M. Götze enters the game and replaces Rafinha.
60'
Neuer is again off his mark with a gallop, racing to the corner of his box to hack the ball away from Stieber. Luckily for him, a somewhat wayward clearance drops kindly for Alonso. Immediately after, Muller is booked for closing down Dante too eagerly for the referee's liking.
59'
N. Müller gets yellow.
58'
Better from Bayern in this half, though the packed ranks of Hamburg are still making it tough to find a clean route through on goal. It's going to take something special, or a complete fluke, to unlock this defence.
56'
DROBNY! Shaqiri wakes up for the first time in this game to ping a cross into the path of Lahm right inside the area, but the Bayern skipper's effort on goal is blocked with conviction by the HSV keeper!
54'
First swap of the game, and it comes from the visitors. Hojbjerg hasn't looked a day wiser than his 19 years, with a listless and jittery display in the middle of the park. He's been replaced by the far more composed head of Xabi Alonso, who slots right into the base of midfield.
53'
Xabi Alonso enters the game and replaces P. Højbjerg.
Neuer has to show off his sweeper-keeper chops once again as he races 25 yards off his line to control a through pass ahead of the sprinting Muller. He put that fire out in an instant!
52'
Diekmeier makes a great challenge to stop the advance of Alaba down the left-hand side. The first real glimpse of attacking intent from the visitors in this second half, is it a sign of things to come?
50'
MULLER NEARLY EMBARRASSES BAYERN! He beats both Boateng and Neuer to a high ball at the top of the box, getting his head to it before the Bayern pair. Everyone in the stadium watches the ball bounce slowly forward to an open net, but it eventually misses the far post by inches!
48'
No changes to report coming out of the half-time break from either side, though Bayern will probably be the side to pull the trigger first. Pizarro may well be a candidate to be replaced, he's been anonymous so far. In his defence though, he has been starved of service.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
T. Arslan gets yellow.
No stoppage time here as the referee signals immediately for the break.
43'
Hamburg are just looking to see out this match to the interval. Bayern ended their last half of football before this one with a last-gasp goal before the whistle against City, and HSV want to avoid a similar fate.
41'
Speaking of Zinnbauer, he's the 11th man to sit in the dugout at Die Rothosen in the past seven years. Since when did the Bundesliga turn into the Campeonato Brasileiro?
39'
Just over five minutes to go until the end of this half. This has been an out of sorts Bayern Munich display, and Hamburg should be delighted that they've managed to rattle the champions so much in this period. Is that the Zinnbauer effect at work already?
37'
Bernat could have been in down the left-hand side, but he wasn't paying attention when Pizarro's through pass drifted in front of him. Probably thinking about how to avoid Behrami's next ankle-breaker.
35'
Bayern have been in complete control of the ball for the last five minutes or so, and the signs are that it's slowly getting better for them. Bernat's earlier shot was speculative, but a lot better than anything that previously came before it. The home side defending in numbers.
33'
Having said that, the HSV keeper is forced into his first save of the game, as Bernat takes aim from an angle 30 yards from goal. Easy stuff for the keeper to punch clear. A big howler if that would have went in!
31'
That was a clear response by Guardiola to the trouble that his side currently find themselves in. They simply have not been able to get it going, with Drobny a complete spectator for the entirety of this game.
29'
Guardiola, as he is wont to do, has swapped Bayern's formation with just about half an hour gone here. They're lining up in more of a 3-4-3 at the moment, with Lahm dropping into the defensive line alongside Boateng and Dante. Rafinha and Bernat push ahead as wing backs, with Muller and Shaqiri flanking Pizarro up top.
27'
Lasogga and Lahm go racing for a high ball, but they're both beat to it by Neuer, who makes a leaping challenge on the edge of his own area and runs almost 30 yards from his goal to keep the ball from going out for a throw in. He's back on his line before HSV knew what happened.
25'
Dante heads away from Stieber's cross as HSV's impressive start to this match continues. That was their first real attack down the opposite flank. Probably a good idea to take play away from Behrami for the moment, who looks like he's on the verge of a booking.
23'
The referee is starting to take notice of Behrami here, after another indiscretion near the far touchline. He went in hard on Alaba and though he got a touch on the ball, the referee wasn't standing for it and lectures the Switzerland midfielder.
21'
Hamburg are trying their hardest to play down their right flank. They've got Muller making runs behind Bernat, with Diekmeier in support from right back, and Behrami drifting wide to challenge and overload when required.
19'
First real shot of the match from Bayern, as Pizarro gets on the end of a Rafinha cross, but doesn't come close to hitting the target. The Peruvian may well be expected to chip in with a goal with Lewandowski on the bench.
17'
Almost exactly two-thirds of the ball seen by the visitors here, but you wouldn't know it watching this game. It's been Hamburg who have pushed forward with more intent, though there's been no chances as of yet.
15'
Bayern haven't been near their best to start this season and it's showing here today. Make no mistake, this is a severely reshuffled team, but they still ooze quality, and should be a little more poised than the jittery outfit that we're currently seeing on the Imtech Arena pitch.
13'
Behrami has already been on song in this game. The Switzerland midfielder is renowned far and wide for his industrial-grade engine, with his lung-busting goal at the death against Ecuador in the World Cup perhaps the best example of what he can bring to the table.
11'
I have to say that HSV haven't looked rattled by the reputation of their opponents in the opening 11 minutes here. Bayern's midfield five look very flat and linear at the moment, making them relatively easy for the home side to pressure into mistakes.
9'
Muller has proven himself to be up for this one already. He goes on a run towards the heart of the area, but barrels right into Juan Bernat, who gets the ball before felling the winger. The referee waves play on instantly.
7'
Hamburg haven't won in 11 straight matches, and they will be hoping that new boss Zinnbauer can arrest that depressing record sooner rather than later. However, with Bayern losing only one of their last 37 away games, the odds are firmly stacked against them, even on their own patch.
5'
Strong away support here, with loud chants of 'Bayern, Bayern!' ringing out in the stands. Their side are still feeling out die Rothosen here, probing from left to right without really penetrating.
3'
Dominance from the off by Bayern, though Nicolai Muller gives them a warning of things to come with a crunching tackle into Lahm near the halfway line. He may have to do a lot of tracking back today, the HSV winger.
1'
Here we go then! Bayern get the match underway.
Hello and welcome to Hamburg's clash with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your designated scribe for today's action.
The home side must face the defending Bundesliga champs tonight without Rafael van der Vaart, who is not quite fit enough to make the squad, after he was expected to mark his return from injury with an appearance today. Lewis Holtby will therefore be the man tasked with providing the central creative support, with the former Schalke man tucking in behind lone forward Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
Pep Guardiola has done some squad reshuffling ahead of this match. The main change is the introduction of Arjen Robben for Mario Gotze, after the Dutchman was used as a substiute in the 1-0 win over Manchester City midweek.
Some less-used names also get a run out today. In come Dante, Claudio Pizarro, Pierre Hojbjerg and Xherdan Shaqiri, with Mehdi Benatia, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Xabi Alonso all dropping out of Pep's XI.
It's the dawn of a new era today for Hamburg, with Josef Zinnbauer taking charge of his first game as coach, following the sacking of Mirko Slomka, who was in charge for only seven months.
Slomka just managed to edge HSV away from relegation last term, but one point from their opening three games sees them prop up the table, and was too much for the board, who feared that they wouldn't be so lucky this season.
Bayern should be wary then of the inevitable boost that comes with the introdutcion of a fresh face in the dugout. Tied on seven points with Leverkusen, the Bavarian giants can go top for the first time this season by matching or bettering their result, potentially with the help of a swing in goal difference.
Bayern were on point against Manchester City, generally dominating the flow of the match, though their finishing was far from convincing. It took an 18-yard half-volley from Jerome Boateng, of all people, to score the only goal of the game virtually on the stroke of 90 minutes. More clinical finishing is needed if they are to go the distance on all fronts this campaign.
Robben has been injured in the warmup, forcing Guardiola into a last-ditch change, bringing on Muller in his stead. A blow for the Bavarians, but not exactly a drop in quality, is it?
You would be forgiven for taking a cursory glance at this game and thinking that the men in white were the defending Bundesliga champs. Hamburg have been the clear winner of that half, forcing Bayern into long periods of mistake-riddled play that we rarely see from Guardiola's men.
The home fans were certainly happy with that first-half display, applauding their team off the field. The away fans haven't had as much to cheer about, but they've still made an almighty racket.
I mentioned Behrami a lot in that first half and there's no surprise why - he's been leading the HSV pressing with his relentless energy. He's bordered on the illegal more than once, but it shouldn't detract too much from a wrecking ball of a display. Arslan and Westermann have also been in fine form for the home side.
Zinnbauer gets off to a fantastic start as HSV manager with a well-earned point at home against Bayern. It may only be their second point from four Bundesliga games, but they'll celebrate this more than most victories!
Bayern miss a chance to go top, and their relatively unconvincing start to the season continues with their second draw in four matches. Guardiola rotated his squad, but it had the opposite effect of a refresh as the visitors looked absolutely listless throughout the game.
