That is the final whistle as the Dutch secure all three points in front of their home fans!
90' +3
Incredible work by Huntelaar to hold the ball up, shield off a defender and set up Fer for a shot, but the midfielder smashes his effort straight at Mokin.
90' +2
HUNTELAAR MAKES IT 4-1, BUT IT IS NOT GIVEN! The striker gets behind the defence and on the end of Robben's cross to slot home past Mokin, but it is called back for an offside. The replay shows it may not have been the right call, but it was such a tight call, making it very difficult on the assistant referee.
90'
A. Nurgaliyev enters the game and replaces S. Khizhnichenko.
Four minutes to be added on here...
89'
D. Shomko gets yellow.
Penalty goal scored by R. van Persie for Netherlands!
VAN PERSIE SEALS IT! The Netherlands' all-time leading scorer sends Mokin the wrong way, slotting home into the bottom left corner and putting this match out of reach.
88'
PENALTY GIVEN TO THE DUTCH! Abdulin takes down Van Persie in the area, and after much deliberation, the Slovenian referee awards the penalty. The centre-back is already on a yellow card, but somehow escapes without a booking. In fact, it is midfielder Shomko who is shown a yellow card for his protests.
86'
ROBBEN! Lovely build-up from the Dutch, and you just wonder where that has been! Robben takes a pass and does so well to split two defenders, but selfishly has a shot from in close as opposed to setting up Huntelaar for a tap in. Mokin is up to the task, getting his legs shut to keep it out.
84'
The Dutch have to be careful here, as they have only one centre-back on the pitch at the moment with the most recent substitution. Kazakhstan are posing little threat going forward, however, as again it is the Oranje who get back into attack looking for a third goal.
82'
I. Afellay has scored a goal for Netherlands!
AFELLAY SURELY WINS IT FOR THE DUTCH!
The Olympiakos man has been doing everything for the Dutch! He takes the ball in the middle of the pitch and strikes for goal from 30 yards out. It takes a slight deflection, allowing it to beat Mokin, just creeping in at the far post! He finally has his goal, and after much frustration, the Netherlands finally have their lead.
81'
L. Fer enters the game and replaces B. Martins Indi.
Minute
Description
80'
Kazakhstan with six or seven men in the penalty area constantly, as they look to keep the Dutch out. They have no one forward, which means there is no way for them to even temporarily relieve the pressure on their goal, as the Oranje continue to keep the ball.
79'
V. Korobkin enters the game and replaces A. Karpovich.
78'
WHAT A SAVE! Hunterlaar takes a pass and does very well to turn around a defender. He finds space for a shot, but Mokin stands tall to keep it out, somehow! Relentless pressure from the Dutch, how much longer can Kazakhstan keep them out?
76'
Blind sends a poor ball into the middle, which eludes everyone. Van der Wiel does well to get forward and keep it in play, blasting a cross into the middle for Van Persie, but his touch towards goal is sent just wide!
74'
OFF THE WOODWORK! After much deliberation, it is Robben who takes. The Bayern Munich man curls the ball towards the far post with real pace, giving the goalkeeper no chance to get to it, however, it hits off the frame of the goal and cannons out! So close to the go ahead goal!
72'
M. Gurman enters the game and replaces V. Dmitrenko.
Free kick for the Dutch just at the top of the area, in an extremely threatening position. Nice vision by Robben to pick out the pass, and a good turn from Van Persie to force the defender into a tackle. Real chance here to take the lead, can they make the most of it?
70'
STAT ATTACK: Netherlands have scored 26 second half goals in their last 10 home qualifying matches.
68'
The fans have really come to life now as the Dutch apply relentless pressure on the Kazakhstan goal. The hosts win a corner, but there is a delay as Dmitrenko is down injured after a nasty looking fall, extending his groin as he attempted to break up a pass.
66'
ROBBEN! Clever idea from the Bayern Munich man, lurking at the top of the box as he gets on the end of a headed clearance. He brings it down and tries to pick out the far corner with a half-volley, but sends his effort wide.
64'
B. Dzholchiev goes off after a red card!
BAD TO WORSE FOR KAZAKHSTAN! Horrendous tackle from Dzholchiev as he goes studs first into the calf of Afellay, with no intent to get the ball. He is shown a straight red card, making Kazakhstan's task all the more difficult here.
62'
K. Huntelaar has scored a goal for Netherlands! Assist by I. Afellay.
HUNTELAAR TIES IT! SUPER SUB INDEED FOR THE NETHERLANDS!
Afellay, whose passing has been top notch here this evening, sends a lovely ball into the area. Huntelaar meets it with real conviction, heading past Mokin at the far post. He has a real knack for scoring off the bench!
60'
You can really see the difference in the Netherlands' attacking play now, as they have quite a few more men in the box. Robben wins a corner as his shot deflects behind, but Mokin flies out courageously to punch clear.
58'
WHAT IS HE THINKING! Huntelaar is absolutely livid with the Dutch captain, as Van Persie is sent through on goal, but opts to have a shot from a tight angle, blasting it wide of the far post. The substitute was running in the centre, and would have had the easiest of tap-ins had Van Persie sent a pass across.
56'
K. Huntelaar enters the game and replaces N. de Jong.
Has to be a better ball! Robben terrorizing defenders along the right, who back off in defence, allowing him to thread a pass across for Daley Blind. The Manchester United man has all the time in the world in the area, but cannot get enough bend on his low cross, which runs into the hands of the keeper.
55'
V. Dmitrenko gets yellow.
54'
BETTER! Much more threatening from the Dutch as Afellay finds a bit of space in the centre after taking a pass from Van der Wiel, but sees his shot sail just over the bar. The hosts have the ability to score two goals in five minutes as they have shown in the pass, so there is no need to panic just yet, however, they have hardly looked like doing so at the moment.
52'
STAT ATTACK: Kazakhstan have lost each of their five qualifying matches against pot one teams, since joining UEFA, by a combined score of 18-1.
50'
A lovely run from Lens forces Miroshnichenko into a foul on the edge of the area. It is a great position to cross a ball in, but a lack of communication sees Sneijder deliver towards the far post, with everyone running towards the near post, making for an easy catch by Mokin.
48'
Van der Wiel makes an encouraging run into the area. Suyumbayev is draped over his back as Sneijder's cross comes in. The defender does just enough, or perhaps too much, depending how you look at it, but nonetheless, the cross runs behind and the danger is averted.
46'
Kazakhstan kick-off and we are underway! Into the final 45 minutes now as the Netherlands attempt to avoid losing consecutive qualifying matches for the first time since 1995.
45'
Robben wins a free kick near the corner flag, and delivers the cross in himself. The cross is strong, but no one attacks the ball as Kazakhstan clear. Slovenian referee Matej Jug blows his whistle, bringing the first half to an end.
43'
The best chances for the Dutch have come when Sneijder gets the ball in midfield, and sends a ball over the top for Van Persie. Again the midfielder sends a good ball in, but the striker just fails to get his head to it. The need for another striker cannot be understated. The Manchester United man is constantly facing one versus three or four situations in the box, making it incredibly difficult on him.
41'
WHAT A CHANCE! Van der Wiel, who has been the most lively player in attack thus far, does well to beat his man and send a teasing ball across the face of goal. Van Persie is there, but cannot get a touch on it, as it rolls to Lens, but the winger fires wide from a tight angle.
39'
Robben does his best to try and create a chance from nothing. He gets the ball along the left, and with no one making themselves available for a pass, he takes on the Kazakhstan defence alone, doing a good job to beat the first few men, although his shot takes a deflection and the visitors manage to clear.
37'
The Dutch continue to keep possession, with plenty of patience in their build-up play, but it is all amounting to nothing at the moment. Frustration is starting to grow amongst the hosts, as Lens commits a foul in the area. The fans are starting to turn on their team a bit here, shocked and appalled at what they have seen from them thus far.
35'
Lens beats Miroshnichenko along the left, and sends a cross in. There are SEVEN Kazakhstan defenders in the area, compared to just two Dutch attackers. The odds are hardly in the hosts favor with those numbers, and one has to wonder why they have yet to commit men forward. A bit of laziness and hesitation off the ball has plagued them in attack thus far.
33'
R. Abdulin gets yellow.
Abdulin, the goal scorer, is shown the first yellow card of the match for time wasting. It is a poor booking to take for the centre-half, who will now go up against the potent Dutch attack with the constant risk of being sent off. There really is no reason for that at this stage of the match, with an hour still to play.
31'
STAT ATTACK: Netherlands have won 17 consecutive qualification matches at home, by a combined score of 60-6. They have kept clean sheets in 13 of those matches.
29'
Just under 80 per cent possession from the Dutch as we approach the half-hour mark, but nothing to show for it. Kazakhstan are keeping everyone behind the ball which is making it incredibly difficult on them to find a way through, just as Robben sends a shot well wide from distance.
27'
Another lovely ball from Afellay sends Robben into space along the right. He has one defender to beat, but rather lazily opts to try and pass it into the area for Van Persie. Abdulin gets a touch on the cross, allowing it to run safely into the hands of the keeper.
25'
The hosts win another corner, but the delivery eludes Van Persie at the near post, allowing Mokin to collect. The Dutch attack is full of individual quality, but it is all too predictable from them at the moment. They are lacking movement off the ball, and seem set on feeding Robben and Van Persie, failing to take advantage of the space afforded to them by the visitors.
23'
ANOTHER CHANCE! Well, the Dutch are pressing with real intent now. Van Persie takes another pass in the area, shielding off Karpovich, turning and firing, but he sends his shot straight into the hands of Mokin who manages to fist it away.
21'
VAN PERSIE! Afellay does well to pick out Sneijder, who sends a sensational ball into the area for the Netherlands' all-time leading scorer. He meets it with his head, trying to loop the ball over the keeper, much like he did against Spain at the World Cup, but sees his attempt land on the top netting.
19'
STAT ATTACK: The goal from Rinat Abdulin, who plays his domestic football with FC Vostok in Kazakhstan, is just his second ever for the national team in his 32nd cap. His first came in a 5-1 defeat in Bulgaria back on April 1, 2009.
17'
R. Abdulin has scored a goal for Kazakhstan! Assist by A. Karpovich.
INCREDIBLE! KAZAKHSTAN SHOCK THE DUTCH AS THEY JUMP OUT IN FRONT!
Khizhnichenko does very well to win a corner as he lacks support in attack. The delivery from the set piece is very strong from Karpovich and Abdulin escapes Martins Indi, who did a horrendous job marking his man, diving to meet the ball and head it off the bar and in! Incredible scenes at the Amsterdam ArenA!
15'
Van der Wiel and Robben are giving Kazahstan fits along the right. The Netherlands are so eager to attack down that flank, and are having plenty of success early on, however, the opening goal still eludes them. The visitors are committing men to that side to defend, leaving them thin in the middle.
13'
BRILLIANT! Lovely movement along the right from the hosts, with Sneijder showing his passing prowess. Robben gets the ball and dances his way past two defenders, but a last ditch tackle forces him to settle for a corner. They get right back in and Lens' shot falls for Van Persie who taps in the rebound, however, it is called back for an offside.
11'
Kazakhstan get forward for the first time as Dzholchiev links up with Miroshnichenko, who wins a throw right by the corner flag. They try and send it into the penalty area, but it falls short and the Dutch clear the threat with ease.
9'
WONDERFUL PASS! Afellay does incredibly well to send Van der Wiel into space on the right. The defender has Van Persie making a run towards the near post, but cannot get enough bend on his low cross as Mokin is able to get there first to collect.
7'
The first attempt on target from the Dutch is a poor one. Lens does very well to turn away from a defender. He runs past the ball, but manages to win it back and pass to Sneijder. The midfielder lays it off for Van der Wiel, who blasts his first time shot over the bar, much to the disgust of Arjen Robben who had acres of space along the right.
5'
Importand defensive clearance from Abdulin, who prevents Van der Wiel's cross from picking out Van Persie at the near post. The right back has been in superb form domestically, and already early on here the hosts look eager to feed him the ball along the flank.
3'
Three minutes in and the Dutch have yet to concede possession. Blind sends a cross in for Van Persie, but a defensive header clears it only as far as Afellay who keeps the hosts on the ball. They have not yet passed it into the penalty area, however, they look extremely comfortable in possession.

Netherlands kick-off and we are underway in Amsterdam! The hosts, moving left to right, are in their classic orange tops, with Kazakhstand sporting all blue kits. The Dutch are expected to handle this with ease, but could the former Soviet nation provide us with a shock today?
Good evening footy fans around the world, and welcome to another lovely evening of Euro Cup qualification, from the Amsterdam ArenA. Tonight, Netherlands take on Kazakhstan with both teams looking to pick up their first win in the group stage after stumbling out of the gate. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
Netherlands lost their first qualifying match at Czech Republic last month, which followed a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Italy in a friendly. The Oranje's slow start could very well be attributed to a managerial change following their impressive showing in the World Cup. A home match against minnows Kazakhstan should be exactly what the doctor ordered for Guus Hiddink to work out the kinks in his team and get the Dutch back on track.
Kazakhstan have mostly been around to make up numbers in recent years, struggling mightily against the top teams. Their domestic league has been surging lately, and many of those players are in the national team. They are longshots to qualify for the 2016 European Championship, but it is safe to say they are on the right track.
The teams have been announced, so let us have ourselves a look at the starting line-ups:
NETHERLANDS (4-3-3): Cillessen; Van der Wiel, De Vrij, Martins Indi, Blind; N. De Jong, Sneijder, Afellay; Robben, Lens, Van Persie.
Guus Hiddink has reverted back to a 4-3-3, deviating from Louis van Gaal's 3-5-2 system which was highly successful throughout the World Cup. The appeal started to fade, however, with the Dutch dropping their opening qualifying match in Prague. The 4-3-3 is much for familiar to these Oranje players, and is likely here to stay... provided the resutls follow.
Gregory van der Wiel's recent strong play for PSG has seen him reinstated into the starting XI, while Ajax's Joel Veltman is the defender to give way, with Netherlands opting for two centre-backs in a more traditional back four. Georgino Wijnaldum returns to the bench, while Memphis Depay is out injured, paving the way for the return of Arjen Robben and Olympiakos midfielder Ibrahim Affelay.
It is quite a defensive formation from Russian coach Yuri Krasnozhan, who opts to pack the back line and midfield in an attempt to try and slow down a lightning quick Dutch attack. They have been known to concede goals in numbers against Europe's elite, so perhaps this welcome change in formation will provide them with a bit of hope this evening.
HALF TIME: NETHERLANDS 0-1 KAZAKHSTAN. It is a shocking scoreline at the break, one that no one could have predicted. The Dutch have spent ridiculous amounts of time in possession, yet have nothing to show for it. A lack of movement off the ball, and a far too predictable attack have made life surprisingly easy on the Kazakhstan defence. It seems like the Netherlands are out of answers at the moment.
You wonder how long it will be until Guus Hiddink brings on Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. Van Persie has a very difficult task and could really use a strike partner to draw away some of the attention. The Dutch are also desperately in need of another body in the centre to get on the end of some of these crosses.
FULL TIME: NETHERLANDS 3-1 KAZAKHSTAN. It took them a while, but the introduction of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar changed the game around for the Dutch. The Schalke forward brought the Netherlands level, while providing them with much needed support in the centre. Afellay saved the Oranje from embarrassment, scoring the go ahead goal, with the aid of a slight deflection, while Van Persie put the game out of reach in the dying minutes.
Up next, the Netherlands travel to Iceland, while Kazakhstan play host to the Czech Republic. I am Alex Moretto and I would like to thank you all for joining me today. Good bye!
