As we enter the dying embers of the contest, PSG pass the ball across their defence at walking pace, with both sides wanting to hear the referee's whistle for the final time of the night. After which, it seems that Kombouare might have a few things to say to the match official!
90'
There are three minutes of stoppage time. El Jadeyaoui whips in another free kick from 25 yards out, but Maxwell heads away under no pressure.
89'
Cavare breaks down the right, before Lens work possession across the field to the opposite flank. They're not going anywhere with the ball, but can be content with each second that passes without PSG driving at their tiring defence.
87'
Lens win a free kick which is 30 yards out from goal, with El Jadeyaoui standing over the motionless ball. The delivery is curled in towards the back post, before Van der Wiel manages to make a timely defensive header to deny red and yellow shirts lurking behind him.
85'
Only five minutes remain for Lens to endure. The home side break down the right-hand side, before the resulting cross is charged down and possession is retained by PSG, leaving a long run back into position for those who supported the counter.
83'
PSG are using their extra man to great effect, spraying the ball across the field with ease - but Ba and Landre are preventing Bahebeck from having an impact on the game. The atmosphere is still fairly fierce inside the stadium, but that's possibly down to negative sentiment towards the referee.
82'
A. El Jadeyaoui enters the game and replaces L. Nomenjanahary.
81'
We're into the final ten minutes at Stade de France, with PSG completely dominant in the capital. Blanc's men are camped in the opposition half, with Lens pressing reluctantly. There are a few pair of tired legs out there at this point. Lucas drops a shoulder before cutting inside onto his right foot, but sends his eventual effort spiralling over the crossbar!
79'
B. Guillaume enters the game and replaces A. Coulibaly.
Bahebeck is nearly picked out by a looping cross, but Riou is quick off his line to deny the substitute and claim the ball. Lalaini breaks down the left before squaring an excellent cross, but Kimpembe intercepts.
77'
The tempo of this game has dropped immensely, with PSG happy to move the ball from left to right and Lens content to let them do it as slowly as they please. There is still goalscoring intent from Blanc's side, however, as they may view tonight as an opportunity to boost confidence.

Description
76'
P. Kimpembe enters the game and replaces T. Motta.
75'
Lucas goes down heavily after being muscled to the ground by a rough challenge from Landre, but the Brazil international will be fine to continue after some brief treatment. Kimpembe is then thrown into the fray in place of Thiago Motta.
73'
Lens are sitting deep in their own half and waiting for PSG to attack, but aren't keeping an outlet up front to try and break when the hosts do win the ball back. Pastore is picked out in acres of space in the middle of the box, but blasts an effort straight at Riou!
71'
Lucas breaks down the right-hand side, but a good challenge from Ba denies the Brazilian the chance to bustle into the penalty area. Bahebeck has been pushed forward as a lone striker since Cavani's red card, but the substitute offers little in the way of aerial presence against two powerful defenders.
69'
Lucas takes aim from 25 yards out, but Riou is happy to watch the ball rise out of play for a goal kick. This game really has been killed off by the red cards, with Lens playing to try and limit further damage.
67'
Bahebeck tries a clever flick to feed a cross deep into the penalty area, but the substitute is denied by good defending from Landre. Since Le Moigne's dismissal, PSG have been in total control in terms of possession.
65'
PSG are content to retain the ball, safe in the knowledge that Lens will struggle to fight back with the two goals required to equalise. There is acres of space down the right-hand side for the away side to exploit, despite much of their joy coming from the feet of Maxwell tonight.
63'
C. Chantôme enters the game and replaces Y. Cabaye.
Abdoul Bâ enters the game and replaces Y. Touzghar.
The best part of half an hour remains for Lens to work hard with a numerical disadvantage, with PSG taking advantage of a break in play to replace Cabaye with Chantome. The former Lille midfielder receives a great reception while walking off the field. The hosts make a switch too, swapping Touzghar for Ba.
61'
After the third PSG goal, this has devolved into total madness, with three red cards shown in a matter of five minutes. Both coaches look completely confused, with the referee effectively ending this as a fair contest. Lens have to battle on with merely nine.
59'
J. Le Moigne gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! IT'S ANOTHER! Le Moigne is sent off for the home side, leaving them without a captain! He appears to push his marker at a corner and the referee deems the foul worthy of a second booking. The referee has gone into a dismissing frenzy! For a slight push on Cabaye, he's got his marching orders! Kombouare is furious!
58'
It's ten versus ten, with Cavani appearing to receive two yellow cards in quick succession for overzealous celebrations and then dissent towards the referee! Either way, it's numerically level once again and Lens will feel as though they have a chance.
57'
RED CARD! Tensions rise yet again and there's confusion on the field due to the referee! Cavani receives his second yellow card and he's absolutely incredulous! It isn't quite clear why the Uruguay international has been sent off!
56'
E. Cavani gets yellow.
E. Cavani gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
55'
Penalty goal scored by E. Cavani for PSG!
GOOOOOOOOAL! PSG MAKE IT 3-1! After everything has calmed down, Cavani is finally permitted to take the spot-kick, which he coolly fires down the middle to convert! Riou dives the wrong way and Lens have now got a big task on their hands if they are to get into this contest again.
53'
J. Gbamin gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD FOR GBAMIN! The central defender is given his second yellow card for conceding the penalty, before going absolutely berserk at the referee! He clearly feels as though he's been harshly treated but did put a hand into Cavani's back.
52'
PENALTY TO PSG! The home side are looking fairly bright, with PSG remaining calm and disciplined when on the ball. Cavani hasn't received a great deal of service since missing a couple of fantastic first half chances, but wins a penalty after being shoved in the back while trying to nod home a Maxwell cross!
50'
Lens enjoy a spell of possession in the PSG half, but a defensive header on the edge of the box from Verratti kills off the danger for a moment. Le Moigne then shoots from 20 yards out, but the midfielder's effort is straight down Sirigu's throat.
48'
The second half has started at a reasonable tempo, with the sea of red and yellow scarves behind Riou's goal providing PSG with an intimidating target to attack. Coulibaly is penalised for a firm challenge on Lucas, after grabbing the shirt of his victim.
46'
We are back underway at Stade de France! PSG will be keen to kill off this game as soon as possible, but from the first half action it is clear that Lens have the capacity to hurt the reigning league champions on the break.
45'
Fantastic run from Landre! The powerful central defender leaves two opposition players in his wake, with Verratti thrown to the floor, before dragging his eventual effort from 20 yards out well wide of the target! That was nearly a moment of sheer inspiration from a very unlikely source!
43'
Le Moigne goes close again! The Lens captain has a go with his left foot from a tight angle, following a throw in, but can only find the near post side netting. Sirigu probably had his angles covered there, had it been on target.
41'
PSG have yet another chance to loft a free kick into a loaded penalty area, with Lucas the man to take. Riou gets something on the delivery with another punch, before Cavani is penalised for supposedly obstructing the Lens goalkeeper - he didn't appear to be doing anything wrong at all.
39'
Le Moigne looks to try an acrobatic volley, which earns Lens a corner. It is flighted in towards the back post and half-cleared, before a close range effort from Coulibaly is turned away instinctively by Sirigu! Great reaction save!
37'
Bahebeck tries his luck from the resulting free kick, but loses his balance as he strikes the ball. His attempt zips wide of the target, with Lens perhaps fortunate to escape without Riou being tested. By giving away so many cheap fouls, they're providing PSG with useful ammunition.
35'
In five minutes, this game has been entirely turned on its head! Two quickfire goals have left Lens in the lurch, with the hosts perhaps hoping that they can see themselves through to the break without conceding again. Landre gets a yellow card for a bad tackle on Cavani.
33'
Maxwell has scored a goal for PSG!
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! MAXWELL MAKES IT 2-1! The left-back manages to capitalise on an error by Riou, whose wayward punch fell straight to the Brazil international. With his weaker foot, Maxwell clips an inch-perfect finish over the backpedalling goalkeeper and into the back of an unguarded net from 30 yards out!
32'
Bahebeck arrives late at the back post, but Cavare makes an important defensive header to deny the substitute. PSG are probing for another opening, but their only joy is coming through hopeful lofted balls into the path of Cavani.
30'
PSG are right back in this game with a quarter of an hour to play until the interval! It took a moment of quality to beat a resilient Lens defence, meaning that Kombouare's side have to go hunting for another advantage to protect. Valdivia loops a poorly struck effort straight at Sirigu from 20 yards out.
28'
Y. Cabaye has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by Maxwell.
GOOOOOOOOOAL! CABAYE GRABS THE EQUALISER FOR PSG! The former Newcastle midfielder arrives late on the edge of the penalty area to receive an intelligent cut back from the left, before steering a finish just inside the far post! Riou scrambles across, but the Frenchman's precise hit evades his despairing grasp! It's level again!
27'
J. Le Moigne gets yellow.
Lens are keeping things tight in midfield, forcing PSG to look direct to Cavani or make niggling mistakes. Le Moigne picks up a yellow card for a rather obvious tug on Pastore's shirt, with the newly promoted side's gameplan plain to see - disrupt at all costs.
25'
Almost beautiful work from Cavani! The Uruguayan is picked out by another long ball and controls it fantastically in one touch. His second hooks it away from a defender, before the PSG forward's eventual swivelling finish beats Riou but is blocked by Gbamin! Very close!
24'
Lalaina fires narrowly wide again! The midfielder arrives late on the edge of the box, before turning a low finish just the wrong side of the far upright! Sirigu was a very worried man there!
23'
The Lens faithful are jubilant and aiding their side's cause with constant noise and drumming - their men will need all of the encouragement they can get to wriggle out of this tricky contest with three points. Bahebeck and Pastore exchange some choice words after a one-two from the pair went terribly wrong.
21'
J. Bahebeck enters the game and replaces B. Matuidi.
PSG are forced into an early change, with yet another injury for Blanc to worry about as Matuidi limps off. Bahebeck is the man to replace him, with the visitors opting for plenty of offensive players. Lalaina tries his luck from the edge of the box, but blasts way over the crossbar!
19'
Awful miss from Cavani! The striker is roundly booed, after failing to turn a one-on-one opportunity into an equaliser! The former Napoli man was set on his way by a fantastic pass, but Riou stood tall to catch an attempted chip from the Uruguay international.
18'
PSG continue to do most of the work with the ball, but Lens are holding their shape and forcing their opponents to force a way through. Matuidi is limping slightly, meaning that Blanc has sent a couple of substitutes out to warm up as a precautionary measure.
16'
Cavani battles his way into the box once again, but the lone striker takes a fairly poor touch, allowing for Riou to steal the ball from his toes. Moments earlier, Lens claimed for a penalty following a clumsy challenge from Camara, but the referee wasn't interested.
14'
Cavani is nearly picked out at the back post, but a covering header from Cavare gets Lens out of jail. Valdivia then tries an outrageous effort from the half-way line, after seeing Sirigu out of position, but the ball skids out of play for a goal kick.
12'
Not the start that PSG had in mind! A big chance for Cavani turned into a goal for Lens, with the hosts really threatening on the break. The fans are roaring their players on as they gallop upfield and the reigning Ligue 1 champions just might be slightly rattled here.
10'
A. Coulibaly has scored a goal for Lens!
GOOOOOOOOOAL! LENS HAVE THE LEAD! COULIBALY SCORES ON THE BREAK! The physical winger bursts down the left-hand side, before a shot from the Frenchman takes a slight deflection off Motta and nestles in the bottom corner! Sirigu was baffled!
9'
J. Gbamin gets yellow.
Cabaye lines up the free kick, but fires straight into the wall. From the rebound, PSG maintain their pressure, before a cut back from the left finds its way into the path of Cavani. The visiting striker is denied by a smart foot from Riou!
8'
PSG are definitely the team on top at the moment, with Blanc's men starting at real pace. Lucas is stopped from breaking into the penalty box by a cynical foul from Gbamin, earning the central defender a very early yellow card. A threatening dead ball situation for the visitors!
6'
Lens absorb some pressure, but there are certainly going to be opportunities for Kombouare's men given PSG's makeshift back four. Van der Wiel delivers a cross from the right-hand side, but Riou rises well to claim above Matuidi.
4'
PSG control the early possession, but there are plenty of red and yellow shirts slotting in behind the ball. Cavani is released down the right channel, but the Uruguayan's effort from a tight angle hurtles into the side netting! Warning sign for Lens.
2'
Chavarria tries to beat Maxwell in a foot race down the right flank early on, but the Brazilian full-back uses his experience well to draw a foul from the Argentine wide man. There's plenty of noise inside the stadium tonight!
1'
We are underway in the first half at Stade de France! Lens are in their red and yellow stripes, while PSG don their white away kit. There's quite an atmosphere here tonight!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Paris Saint-Germain's visit to face RC Lens, as the newly promoted side provide Laurent Blanc's men with their first domestic test after the international break. Les Parisiens are currently seven points off the pace in Ligue 1 and require three points tonight in a bid to kick-start their form following a disappointing first nine matches of the campaign.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from tonight's solitary Ligue 1 clash, as PSG face something of an injury crisis. Lens have a huge opportunity to grab a shock result, with a win enough to lift Antoine Kombouare's side out of the relegation zone for the time being. It won't be easy, but the hosts could definitely exploit a travelling squad which is thin on the ground.
TEAM NEWS: Wylan Cyprien and Ahmed Kantari miss out through suspension for the home side, while Yoann Touzghar will look to add to his current tally of two goals with a good performance as lone striker this evening. Jerome Le Moigne sits in defensive midfield with the captain's armband, while the back four's selection remains consistent.
TEAM NEWS: Zoumana Camara and Thiago Motta make up a weak central defensive partnership, as an injury crisis leaving PSG only able to name six substitutes rather than the permitted seven. Thiago Silva, David Luiz and Marquinhos are sidelined, meaning that a weakened eleven faces up against Lens tonight. Yohan Cabaye gets a start in midfield, with Edinson Cavani leading the line in the absence of star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
HALF TIME! The referee calls time on what has been a fantastic restart to Ligue 1 action at Stade de France, with PSG holding a 2-1 lead over Lens at the break. Two goals within five minutes from Cabaye and Maxwell overturned an early advantage given to the newly promoted side through Coulibaly.
Be sure to rejoin us in ten minutes for all of the second half action, with Lens appearing to have plenty of options to endanger PSG's lead. Had Cavani taken a couple of early chances, however, Blanc's side could be comfortably ahead at this point in proceedings.
FULL TIME! PSG wrap up a 3-1 win over Lens at Stade de France, with the referee taking the headlines by sending off an unprecedented three players in five second half minutes! Goals from Cavani, Maxwell and Cabaye secure the three points for Blanc's side, despite an early Coulibaly opener.
That's all we have time for from Paris and what a way to welcome back domestic football following the international break! Goals, red cards and entertainment in Ligue 1, with the reigning champions restarting their campaign with a much-needed win. I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
