Rochina shoots, but Casillas stays central and punches the ball to safety! That should be that.
90' +2
Arbeloa gets yellow.
Rochina finds Sissoko with a clever flick, with the Granada man forcing Arbeloa to make a cynical challenge - opting to pull his opponent's shirt. The hosts have a free kick on the edge of the box as a result.
90'
There are two minutes of stoppage time.
89'
Murillo goes down holding his leg, after clashing with James, with the Colombian appearing to scrape his studs down the top of his compatriot's leg. The Granada defender will continue, there's not long left, after all.
88'
Big chance for Marquez! The substitute is picked out at the back post, following a break from Granada which resulted in a three versus three situation. However, with the goal at his mercy, he can't stretch enough to convert!
87'
GOOOOOOOOAL! JAMES POKES HOME! The former Monaco man scrambles the ball into the back of the net from only a few yards out, helping a Cristiano flick on its way. Roberto desperately claims for offside, but James got there first, stabbing the ball to its destination despite pressure from Babin.
86'
J. Rodríguez has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid are looking to keep things tight and professional until the very end, with Granada only having around five minutes of play left to endure. The hosts haven't been too disappointing in the second half, but los Blancos stepped off the gas somewhat at 2-0.
84'
Granada break at pace, with Marquez found streaking down the left flank. He makes his way into the penalty box, but Casillas makes himself big to make an important near post save. He's remained alert, despite having little to do!
83'
Illarramendi enters the game and replaces Isco.
Arbeloa overlaps down the right-hand side, before playing a smart one-two with Benzema. The Spaniard drives into the box, but can only place a finish narrowly wide of the near post, with the aid of a defensive deflection! The resulting set piece is cleared.
82'
Carlos is brought to ground by James, with the Real Madrid goalscorer accidentally treading on the foot of his opponent, but the Granada man will be fine to continue. There isn't long left in this one, with the points already sealed for los Blancos anyhow.

Description
80'
Real Madrid are happy to sit back and allow the home side to retain possession, before looking to break at pace. Rochina weaves his way into the penalty area, before picking out Sissoko, but the wide man sees a finish from a tight angle hacked clear on the line by Ramos!
78'
Cristiano shoots from more than 30 yards out, but it dips straight towards Roberto, who is able to smother with consummate ease. Now they are comfortably ahead, this afternoon is an opportunity to be a bit more maverick in front of goal, it seems.
76'
S. Khedira enters the game and replaces L. Modrić.
Modric takes his leave, with Khedira the Croatia international's replacement. He has been confident and efficient in possession, but the physical presence of his German teammate could now be useful too. Marcelo blazes over at the back post yet again, after being found in acres of space beautifully by Benzema.
74'
Khedira is given some final instructions on the Real Madrid bench, as Ancelotti begins to look towards resting some more of his key men. Granada have started to break out of their half with more regularity, but los Blancos won't be too concerned, given the scoreline.
72'
Marquez goes down holding his face, with play briefly stopped for the midfielder to receive some brief treatment after clashing with Benzema. Chicharito has started his warm-up on the sidelines.
70'
Only 20 minutes are left on the clock, with Real Madrid continuing to force the issue. Marcelo picks out Cristiano at the back post, but the Portuguese forward can only send a bobbling cut-back in towards the near post. It is cleared with ease.
68'
Sissoko heads over! Carlos works his way down the left-hand side brilliantly yet again, before whipping in a great near post cross. The left winger manages to make contact, but can only send a glancing header wide of the target from close range!
67'
Rochina is denied by Ramos! The former Blackburn man is picked out by a cross from Carlos, before faking to shoot! It forces Ramos into a slide tackle, but the Spain international defender recovers well to block at the second attempt. The ball is half-cleared, before finding Rochina deep in the opposition area, but he can only turn an acrobatic volley over the bar!
65'
Rochina enters the game and replaces J. Córdoba.
Cristiano scampers inside to the 18-yard line, before showing excellent vision yet again to flick James in behind on the right flank. The Colombian midfielder forces Roberto into another save, but the linesman's flag was raised for offside anyhow.
63'
Isco plays a one-two with Benzema, before the Spain international dances inside from the left flank to bear down on the edge of the penalty area. As he threatens to shoot, he is mobbed by two red and white shirts and robbed of the ball.
61'
There is only half an hour left on the clock, but the hosts wouldn't be forgiven for wanting the referee to end the contest a little sooner. Benzema is almost picked out by a back post cross, but Babin rises well to nod behind for a Real Madrid corner.
59'
Isco prods a pass out to Marcelo, who is in space at the back post, but the Brazilian can only rocket a close-range effort way over the bar. One more goal would really kill Granada's morale.
58'
Marquez whips in a dangerous corner delivery, but Casillas is just about able to get a glove to the ball in order to push it away from danger. The second half is following the same path as the first, with Real Madrid dominating proceedings.
56'
Marcelo sprays a diagonal ball across the field for Benzema to challenge for, but Babin rises well to head clear. Now that the away side are three goals to the good, it's hard to see how Granada can get back in business. The Brazil international then cracks the crossbar with a powerful strike!
54'
K. Benzema has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Cristiano Ronaldo.
GOOOOOOOAL! BENZEMA SCORES! What an assist from Cristiano! The Frenchman is found by an unbelievable backheel from his teammate, before taking a touch and stabbing a finish beyond Roberto! There might even have been a nutmeg in there for good measure!
53'
El Arabi is found in a small amount of space at the back post, but the substitute can only hook a tame volley back across goal for Casillas to collect with ease.
52'
Granada earn themselves a corner, which is half-cleared, before Iturra goes to ground while attempting to control the rebounding ball. He falls, possibly due to pressure from Isco, but the Chilean is penalised for using his arm to bring it down.
50'
Y. El-Arabi enters the game and replaces I. Success.
Cristiano lets fly from 25 yards out, rocketing the ball directly at Roberto, who needs two attempts to smother. That was really travelling! Meanwhile, El Arabi takes to the field in place of the injured Success.
48'
Cordoba spins and shoots from 20 yards out, but can only force Casillas into a fairly comfortable, slumping save. Success then goes to ground, claiming injury, with the striker requiring some attention from the physio once again. It doesn't appear that he'll be continuing.
46'
Javi Márquez enters the game and replaces E. İsrafilov.
We are underway in the second half in Andalucia! Real Madrid hold a two-goal advantage, with Granada needing to score fairly soon without reply to make things interesting once again.
45' +2
The resulting free kick is thrown into the box, but Real Madrid manage to clear with ease. Moments later, Granada earn themselves another set piece, this time from a central area 30 yards from goal, but Carlos curls an effort high and wide of the target.
45'
There are two minutes of stoppage time. Carlos shows a turn of pace down the left-hand side, before earning his side a free kick due to Arbeloa grabbing hold of his shirt to try and keep stride with the Granada man.
44'
Modric picks up a yellow card for an untidy tackle on Eddy, with his raised studs coming down on the midfielder's ankle. The Croatia international is apologetic and rightly so, that was a risky challenge.
43'
L. Modrić gets yellow.
42'
Nyom is picked out on the right-hand side and the right-back whips in a devilish cross. Arbeloa is forced to send a looping header high into the air, which isn't capitalised upon by Sissoko, before Eddy blazes a rebounding ball way over from 30 yards out.
40'
Only five minutes remain until the end of the first half, with clear chances beginning to dry up somewhat. Benzema drives at the heart of the Granada defence, but Murillo steps out excellently to rob the Frenchman of the ball.
39'
E. İsrafilov gets yellow.
38'
Arbeloa enters the game and replaces Dani Carvajal.
Arbeloa takes to the field for Real Madrid, with Carvajal withdrawing due to injury. The game plan won't change for the away side, with the same expected of the former Liverpool full-back.
36'
Cordoba and Pepe clash off the ball inside the penalty area, with the former perhaps wanting a penalty, but the referee pays no attention. There have been a couple of hairy moments in the Real Madrid half in the last five minutes.
35'
Juan Carlos whips a corner delivery towards the back post, which Murillo challenges for, but Real Madrid clear their lines. The defender is on hand moments later to shoot from just outside the box, but Casillas makes a comfortable save at his near post.
33'
Sissoko plays a good ball towards the edge of the Real Madrid penalty area, which Cordoba manages to challenge for, thus leading to Ramos and Pepe clashing inadvertently with each other. Fortunately for los Blancos, Pepe recovers brilliantly to face up the Colombian and rob him of possession.
31'
J. Rodríguez has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by K. Benzema.
GOOOOOOOAL! GREAT GOAL FROM JAMES! Benzema tees up his teammate, before the Colombian midfielder dips an audacious volley over the goalkeeper and into the far corner from 16 yards out! It is a technically brilliant effort and Real Madrid have doubled their lead!
29'
The tempo slows slightly, with los Blancos choosing to be slightly more patient with their probing. The away side have moved the ball well, with Granada having no answer of their own, except for trying to release Cordoba and Success as quickly as possible.
27'
The home side continue to endure heavy pressure, but Roberto's goal is living a charmed life at the moment, with Real Madrid struggling to be clinical with their numerous chances. Granada are sitting deep in two banks of four, but Ancelotti's men are making gaps all over the final third with clever movement.
25'
Carvajal blazes over! Real Madrid advance down the right brilliantly, before the overlapping right-back is found by a brilliant backheeled pass by Cristiano. Despite receiving the ball merely eight yards from goal, the former Leverkusen man can only turn his effort into the stands horribly!
23'
Isco picks out Benzema with a clipped ball in towards the penalty spot, which the Frenchman controls, pivots with and thrashes towards goal. Roberto makes the save low to his right, but play had already been pulled back for the former Lyon man using his arm to cushion down Isco's pass.
22'
Success goes down and receives some treatment, after being caught by one of Pepe's studs on his left calf, leaving Granada to continue with ten men for the moment. He should be fine to continue, however, after liberal amounts of the magic spray.
20'
Roberto is called into action to claim a free kick this time, with James' delivery pitched far too close to the goalkeeper. Ancelotti's men continue to force the issue and probably will be unhappy if they reach the interval with merely a one-goal advantage.
18'
James has a go from range once again, after being found on the edge of the area by Modric, but this time places his shot too close to Roberto. The Granada goalkeeper hasn't been tested too many times in the opening 20 minutes, but makes a routine save on this occasion.
17'
James fires over! Cristiano goes on a brilliant, mazy run down the left, before cutting back inside sharply and teeing up his Colombian teammate on the edge of the box. Without hesitation, the former Monaco man strikes it first time, but can't keep the ball down.
15'
Marcelo finds Cristiano overlapping down the left with a clever backheel, but the Portugal international's attempted return pass to the Brazilian left-back is easily intercepted. Real Madrid continue to dominate the opening stages of this contest.
13'
Success and Sissoko combine well down the left-hand side, but the former's eventual cross from the byline is blocked well by Kroos, with the ex-Bayern midfielder also able to win a goal kick in the process.
11'
Good delivery from James! The Colombia international is found by a short free kick, before driving into the penalty area and clipping a cross towards the back post! It's into a great area, but the advancing los Blancos players aren't able to stretch enough to make contact.
9'
Granada are struggling to compete, with Real Madrid's technically gifted players able to take advantage of the slightest of gaps. Caparros is renowned for his tactical prowess, but Granada haven't been given a moment's respite thus far.
7'
Isco fires narrowly over! The Spanish midfielder swivels onto his right foot and lets fly from 25 yards out, but sends the ball whistles over the crossbar! Roberto was slightly worried there!
6'
Important block from Murillo! James combines well with Benzema deep in the Granada penalty box, but the France international's eventual effort is charged down by the Colombian defender. The hosts are struggling to hold on in the early stages.
5'
Real Madrid retain possession well, with Granada camped deep in their half, but for the isolated outlets of Success and Cordoba. Ancelotti will be pleased by los Blancos' start. Benzema is nearly slid in behind enemy lines, but Roberto is quick off his line to claim.
3'
Success falls to the ground in the penalty area, after claiming contact with Ramos, but the referee isn't interested whatsoever in the Nigerian's plight. This match has started at quite some tempo, but Caparros will not be happy at surrendering a goal this early.
2'
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by K. Benzema.
GOOOOOOOOOAL! CRISTIANO GIVES REAL MADRID THE LEAD! The Portugal international tucks a finish across Roberto and into the bottom right corner, after good work down the flank from Carvajal and Benzema. The Frenchman cuts back an intelligent pass, which his strike partner strokes home!
1'
We are underway in the first half in Andalucia! Real Madrid need to take three points to maintain their pace in the title race, but Granada certainly won't be rolling over without a fight.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Real Madrid's visit to Andalucia, in order to face Joaquin Caparros' Granada. While the visitors boast five consecutive wins in competitive fixtures, their adversaries have picked up merely one point in the same span of games. If the formbook is anything to go by, los Blancos shouldn't have any trouble this afternoon, but accumulating victories in this region of Spain has proved problematic in past campaigns.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with proceedings from Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, as Carlo Ancelotti's men attempt to continue good recent form and kick on from their impressive El Clasico victory over Barcelona last time out in the league. Granada have managed merely an average of one point per game in the early stages of the La Liga season, but can put up a fight on home soil.
TEAM NEWS: Fran Rico is serving a suspension for the hosts, meaning that Eddy retains his place in the centre of midfield alongside Iturra. Foulquier and Sissoko take up positions out wide in midfield, meaning that Caparros will be looking to keep things tight at the back with his forward players having responsibility to track back and double up. Cordoba and Success are left up top to do Granada's offensive running.
TEAM NEWS: Bale and Coentrao miss out through injury for the visitors, who choose to name the same side which beat Barcelona 3-1 recently. James and Isco are given more defensive responsibility on the flanks of a four-man midfield, while Cristiano and Benzema are given the freedom to push on throughout. Casillas retains his place in between the posts.
Real Madrid starting line-up (4-4-2): Casillas; Carvajal, Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo; Isco, Modric, Kroos, James; Benzema, Cristiano.
Granada substitutes: Oier, Mainz, Yuste, Marquez, El Arabi, Larsson, Rochina.
Real Madrid substitutes: Navas, Varane, Khedira, Chicharito, Arbeloa, Nacho, Illarramendi.
HALF TIME! Real Madrid hold a commanding 2-0 lead against Granada at the break, with goals from Cristiano and James handing los Blancos the high ground for the second half. The second finish was excellent, with the Colombian international dipping a volley across goal and inside the far post from an audacious position.
Granada have been competitive, but created little, with Cristiano's early strike setting the general pace of the game. Real Madrid have been dominant, with Caparros' side having a lot of work to do if they are to get back into this one. Be sure to rejoin us in ten minutes!
FULL TIME! Real Madrid coast to a very comfortable 4-0 victory in Andalucia, extending Granada's winless run even further! Goals from Cristiano, James and Benzema wrap up a valuable three points for Ancelotti's men, with the visitors always on top.
That's all that we have time for, as Real Madrid maintained their title challenge pace at the expensive of Caparros' struggling outfit. Los Blancos are in good form and with the likes of Coentrao and Bale set to return to action soon, things can only get easier. I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
