WHAT A SAVE! Somehow Wales survive as Januzaj's corner bounces around in the area, and eventually Benteke forces it goalwards. Somehow Hennessey gets down to keep it out and the visitors get it clear.
90' +5
E. Huws enters the game and replaces H. Robson-Kanu.
90' +4
W. Hennessey gets yellow.
Bale picks the ball up on the right touchline and cuts inside 35 yards from goal, but he slices his shot horribly and it almost goes out for a throw-in it is that wide.
90' +3
Januzaj skips past Taylor before driving a cross along the six-yard line, but Chester makes a great clearance facing his own goal. The Hull City man has been immense tonight.
90' +1
That Meterns injury, coupled with Allen's earlier knock and the substitutions, means we will have six minutes of added time. Can either side find a late winner?
89'
A. Januzaj enters the game and replaces D. Mertens.
Januzaj is the man on to replace Mertens and he will have just a matter of minutes to make an impact on the game.
88'
Mertens remains stricken on the pitch as the players wait to get back underway. Eventually he is helped onto a stretcher, though he does seem to have come round.
86'
George Williams picks up a booking after a clash of heads with Mertens, and the Belgium man will have to come out here. He seems to have been knocked out and the stretcher is being brought on.
85'
G. Williams gets yellow.
84'
GOOD SAVE! So close from Wales as Bale heads Hennessey's goal kick down for Robson-Kanu, and the winger's shot is pushed away well by Courtois.
Minute
Description
83'
Belgium create again as Benteke latches onto Mertens' cross and heads straight at Hennessey from close range. Good save from the goalkeeper, though the flag was up for offside anyway.
81'
Vanden Borre wins a corner on the right that Mertens delivers into the middle, but Benteke's header is always heading off target. Heads in hands for the hosts.
79'
A long throw from Vanden Borre is only scuffed clear by Ashley Williams, but Mertens cannot control his volley and it flies over the crossbar. More relief for Wales.
77'
Mertens looks for Benteke in the box but Hennessey is able to collect under no pressure. The Crystal Palace goalkeeper has been excellent this evening.
75'
Belgium are beginning to lift the tempo again as they go in pursuit of a goal that their dominance has deserved. Dropping points here would hit their qualification hopes hard even this early in the campaign.
73'
D. Mertens enters the game and replaces D. Origi.
J. Allen gets yellow.
Allen picks up a booking for a foul in midfield as Belgium make their second change of the night with Mertens replacing Origi.
72'
Wales get the ball into the area on the left-hand side, but George WIlliams cannot get any power behind his shot and Courtois can save with ease.
70'
Hazard does well to bring the ball inside from the left before laying it into De Bruyne's path, but the Wolfsburg man drags his shot well wide of the post from 20 yards.
68'
Allen has been patched up and will be fine to continue for the time being. How Wales could do with a moment of inspiration from the Liverpool man in this game.
66'
There is a break in play here as Allen stays down following a collision with Fellaini. It looks as if the Wales man has blood coming from his nose after being caught by an arm.
64'
Wales are certainly seeing more of the ball now, and they create another half-chance as Ramsey lays the ball back for Taylor, but his right-footed shot is never controlled and flies well over the crossbar.
62'
C. Benteke enters the game and replaces N. Chadli.
Wilmots makes his first change of the night as Chadli is replaced by Benteke. Will likely be two up front for the hosts now.
61'
Bale looks to surprise Courtois with a free-kick towards goal from a wide area on the left, but the goalkeeper is aware of the danger and skips across to save with ease.
59'
End-to-end now as Bale sees a cross cleared by Alderweireld before Chester makes a fine challenge to stop Chadli on the edge of the box. Either side could still win this.
57'
SO CLOSE! Bale comes to life as he picks the ball up around 40 yards from goal, drives at the Belgium defence before hitting an angled drive that goes narrowly wide of the post. Wales' best moment of the night.
55'
Belgium look to be running out of ideas here as their frustration begins to grow. With Lukaku, Benteke and Januzaj on the bench, changes may not be far away.
53'
Taylor gets forward down the left-hand side and looks to pick out Ramsey on the edge of the area, but his cross is too high for the Arsenal man.
51'
De Bruyne curls a corner into the area, but Vertonghen cannot control his header in front of Fellaini and it flies over the crossbar. Wales can breathe again.
49'
George Williams shows he has some tricks of his own to skip past Vertonghen, but his ball into Bale is cut out. Good start from the Fulham youngster.
47'
Hazard does not need long to create something as Wales lose the ball in their own half and the winger carries the ball to the edge of the area. Eventually he gets a shot away but it is weak and Hennessey gets down to his left to save.
46'
G. Williams enters the game and replaces D. Cotterill.
Wales make a change at the break as George Williams replaces Cotterill and Belgium get us back underway...
45'
Despite there being plenty of bodies in the box, De Bruyne goes for goal, and Hennessey comes across to catch the goalbound effort. Easy save for the goalkeeper.
44'
Hazard works his magic again as he cuts inside from the left to win a free-kick from Gunter around 25 yards from goal. This could be the last chance of the half for Belgium...
42'
Courtois comes to claim a Cotterill cross and looks to set Hazard clear down the right-hand side. The winger looks to have the beating of Taylor, but the Swansea defender does well to force the Chelsea man out of play.
40'
Fellaini looks to head the ball into De Bruyne's path in the penalty area, but Hennessey is off his line quickly to collect on the edge of his area. Wales hanging on with half-time approaching.
38'
Williams and Chester have defended stoutly so far, with Origi having little impact in the area. The Lille forward has not had a sight of goal as yet, though he did create a big chance for Chadli.
36'
Belgium continue to enjoy plenty of possession, and their build-up play is patient and measured as they wait for a Wales error. Only really Hazard has gone past players with any regularity.
34'
Hazard strikes it right-footed but he does not get enough elevation on his shot and the wall blocks it out of play for a corner. The resulting set-piece finds Fellaini in the middle but his header is wide of the post.
33'
J. Ledley gets yellow.
Ledley becomes the first man to go into the book as he brings down Witsel around 20 yards from goal in a central position. Real chance here for Belgium...
31'
Witsel and De Bruyne are controlling the game in midifield, with Ramsey struggling to get involved and gain any kind of possession. After a bright start, Wales have struggled to stay with their hosts.
29'
It's all Belgium now, and Bale is becoming increasingly isolated up front. Coleman may look to bring the Real Madrid man deeper and allow him to have more of an influence on proceedings if this continues.
27'
Almost a hairy moment for Belgium as Vanden Borre lobs a pass back towards Courtois, and the goalkeeper has to head the ball on his own line to bring it down.
26'
OFF THE POST! So close for the hosts as Wales fail to clear a corner and Lombaerts is able to turn on the ball and fire a shot towards the top corner. Hennessey is beaten but the post saves Wales this time.
25'
Hazard's influence grows by the minute in this game, with the winger popping up all across the pitch and showing some delightful touches. Ledley or Allen need to get tighter to the Chelsea man.
23'
GREAT SAVE! Belgium all of a sudden up the tempo as Chadli plays the ball into Origi and goes for the return pass around the corner. The Tottenham man is clear, but his shot is well saved by Hennessey from close range. Best chance of the night.
21'
The game has settled down a little after a frantic first 15 minutes, with Belgium in control of possession, though Wales certainly carry a threat with Bale up front.
19'
Ramsey picks the ball up in space and looks for the run of Bale over the top, but the pass is too heavy and Courtois is able to come to the edge of his area to collect.
17'
After Vertonghen robs Robson-Kanu, Chadli and Origi work the ball to Hazard around 25 yards from goal, but his shot is well blocked on the edge of the area. The Chelsea man is starting to have more of an influence on the game.
15'
At the other end Hazard comes to life as he skips past three defenders with ease before shooting from the left of the area, but Hennessey gets down at his near post to grab at the second attempt.
14'
GOOD SAVE! Bale does not disappoint with his effort as it swerves viciously in the air, and Courtois does really well to get across to his right and palm the ball away. Wales' best chance so far.
13'
Opportunity coming up for Wales as Lombaerts is penalised for a handball up against Ramsey. Bale is lining this up around 30 yards from goal just to the left of centre...
11'
Allen is fortunate to escape a booking as he trips Chadli in a central position around 40 yards from goal, but the referee does nothing more than award a free-kick to the hosts.
9'
Wales certainly aren't overawed by the occasion, with Gunter putting a ball into the box from the right after good play by Allen. Courtois is underneath it though and makes a good catch on the edge of his own six-yard area.
7'
Almost an opening for Ramsey as he breaks through the middle and tries to latch onto Bale's through-ball. The pass is a good one but Vertonghen does well to come across and make a fine challenge on the edge of the area.
5'
Bale has begun in a central role for Wales, with Ramsey just behind him and Allen and Ledley sitting slightly deeper. The Arsenal man especially will have to be at his best if Wales are to get anything from this game.
3'
Bright start made by Belgium as Chadli outpaces Taylor down the right-hand side, but his cross is too deep and is eventually cleared down the field by Ramsey.
1'
The handshakes are over, and Wales kick-off to get us underway...
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Euro 2016 qualifying match between Belgium and Wales. Chris Coleman's team have made a fine start to qualifying, but face arguably their toughest test in Group B this evening against the World Cup quarter-finalists. I'm Tom Maston and I'll be guiding you through all the action from Brussels.
Wins against Andorra and Cyprus and a goalless draw with Bosnia-Herzegovina has seen Wales to the top of the group after three matches, with many supporters believing they have a great chance of qualifying for a major tournament for the first time since the 1958 World Cup. If they can maintain their form this evening, then few would bet against them reaching the tournament in France.
Marc Wilmots' team, meanwhile, sit third in the group but have a game in hand following their postponed trip to Israel on matchday one. The Red Devils have one win and one draw from their opening two matches, and lie third in the group. Despite only being the second seeds in the group, they remain the heavy favourites to qualify automatically.
Before we go any further, the two team line-ups have been announced ahead of kick-off in around 20 minutes...
Wales: Hennessey; Gunter, Chester, A. Williams, N. Taylor; Ramsey, Ledley, Allen; Robson-Kanu, Bale, Cotterill.
Coleman makes three changes from the side that beat Cyrpus, with Simon Church, George Williams and the suspended Andy King dropping out. In their place, David Cotterill - who scored last time out - Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen come in, with the midfield dup fit again after missing the last international break.
Belgium leave Romelu Lukaku on the bench, with Divock Origi preferred up front while Vincent Kompany is missing through injury. Christian Benteke is on the bench alongside Lukaku as he makes his return to the national squad following his own lenghty lay-off that saw him miss the World Cup.
Around 5000 Wales fans have made the trip to Brussels this evening, but if they are to see their side win there will have to be a major turnaround in fortunes. Belgium have never lost at home to Wales in five matches, and have not lost to the Dragons since 1992.
All eyes are on a battle between of the world's most exciting attacking players this evening, with Gareth Bale going up against Eden Hazard. Both carry the hopes of a nation on their shoulders, and their impact, or lack thereof, may well decide the result.
The teams are making their way onto the pitch and we will have the national anthems and usual pre-match niceties before kick-off. There is a superb atmosphere inside the stadium, and we should be in for a cracking evening of international football.
Both national anthems are sung with plenty of gusto by players and teams alike, and we are now just moments from kick-off. Can Wales stay top of the group, or will Belgium kickstart their own qualifying campaign? We're about to find out...
That was the final act of the first half, and Wales have just about hung on. The visitors have given the ball away cheaply, and only Hennessey and the woodwork have kept it goalless with Belgium dominant. Bale has tested Courtois only once, and needs to be involved much more. I'll be back in 10 minutes to see if the deadlock can be broken.
The two teams have made their way back out onto the field, and we are almost ready to get underway in Brussels...
Boos greet the final whistle, and Wales have claimed a famous point in Belgium. Their fans go wild after a heroic defensive effort from Coleman's side, with Hennessey's last-gasp save the icing on the cake. Belgium have just one win from their opening three matches but remain in a good position to qualify. For now, I've been Tom Maston and thanks for joining me.
