This is some fantastic hold-up play from Crouch deep in Arsenal's half as the home side do whatever they can to see the clock run down. The visitors eventually win the ball and look to build as they send everyone forward, knowing they may only have one attack left before time runs out!
90' +2
J. Campbell enters the game and replaces K. Gibbs.
Is there some late drama on the cards here?! Cazorla stands over a corner as Campbell is thrown on for Gibbs in Arsenal's final substitution. The ball is played to Mertesacker who heads it down but Whelan clears!
90'
Five minutes of injury time has been added on as Adam fails to reach a ball from a poor backpass from Mertesacker.
89'
Welbeck is absolutely furious as he argues Pieters took him down just when he was about to race onto a ball from Cazorla, but the referee saw it as a fair challenge and did not make a call!
87'
R. Huth enters the game and replaces Bojan Krkić.
86'
Bojan comes off after a sensational night on the pitch, to a standing ovation from the crowd. On goes Huth now with four minutes plus stoppages and the home side needing to defend a corner.
85'
The initial effort from Sanchez is cleared but on the follow-up, Cazorla sends a stunning effort in that forces Begovic into a fantastic reaction save!
84'
C. Adam gets yellow.
Adam pulls down Sanchez just outside the box and he's duly booked for his effort. The winger now stands over the ball, about to send it into the box.
83'
Mertesacker cuts off a cross to send his side racing forward and Joel Campbell looks ready to come on for Arsenal. The side are being more cautious in how they build attacks, unwilling to leave the defence exposed with only one centre-back still on the pitch.
82'
Gibbs trying to make things happen all by himself on the byline, but as he skips into the box he miscontrols the ball and a goal-kick is given to Begovic.
Minute
Description
81'
Though Bojan has nearly scored another anyway, dropping out of the box to pick up a loose ball and sending a well-placed shot just inches wide of the far post!
80'
It's getting sloppy from Arsenal now who play a ball directly out of bounds on the left wing. That sending off could totally change momentum here again though Hughes and his men will feel it's vindication for the annulment of Bojan's second goal.
79'
Walters bundles over in the box with the ball after slight contact from Mertesacker but there's nothing in it and play is waved on!
78'
C. Chambers gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
CHAMBERS IS SENT OFF! It's a second yellow for the centre-back who now has really put a dent in Arsenal's chances of taking points from this! It's a slight challenge, though he had pulled on Bojan's shirt and the Spanish man protested heavily against it. Arsenal are furious and Stoke have a free-kick!
77'
Shawcross does just enough to see the ball over the line after a dangerous pass was played into Welbeck for another goal-kick to his side. Arsenal are still pressing here but their ideas are coming up short now instead of looking dangerous.
76'
Solid play from Stoke who are keeping the ball well and still going forward in search of another goal. They lose it however when Adams' chested pass is collected by Cazorla, though the pass to Welbeck down the flanks is overhit and Begovic has a goal-kick to take.
75'
The home side are camped around their own box, pinned back into defending by relentless hounding from the visitors. Pieters is forced into heading a good cross out for a corner, and from the play, Sanchez is offside and gives Hughes' men a chance to breathe easily.
74'
Podolski gets on the end of a cross in the box and his header finds its way into Begovic's hands, much to the relief of the home side who are now just trying to cling on for the win!
73'
Absolutely breathless, this match, as Adam's delivery is a good one but no one can get onto it before it goes over the line for a goal-kick.
72'
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain gets yellow.
71'
K. Gibbs gets yellow.
Martinez now called into action on a free-kick to collect a rather routine ball into the box. All momentum with the visitors now who are playing with a swagger and belief, but Oxlade-Chamberlain is booked for taking down Pieters on an attack and now the home side have yet another free-kick they'll send into the box!
70'
A. Ramsey has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by A. Sánchez.
ARSENAL SCORE AGAIN! WHAT A MAD, MAD GAME WE HAVE HERE! Following Begovic's fantastic save on Welbeck, Ramsey gets the ball from the ensuing corner and sensationally volleys it into the back of the net! 3-2 here and there's so much more to come!!!!!
69'
C. Adam enters the game and replaces M. Diouf.
Hughes makes a proactive change as he sends on Adam for Diouf in an effort to just hold the ball in the midfield more
68'
Penalty goal scored by Santi Cazorla for Arsenal!
AND CAZORLA MAKES NO MISTAKE FROM THE SPOT! 3-1 as he sends his low shot past Begovic, who angrily keeps the ball after conceding! There's over twenty minutes left here, and though some Stoke players are claiming Flamini made a meal of the challenge, there's a real sense now Arsenal could take something from this!
65'
BOJAN SCORES AGAIN... no it's ruled out! The ball was in the back of the net but the referee spots an infringement in the build up and somehow Arsenal are off the hook!
64'
Flamini is wide again down the flank but he's drifted offside as Welbeck tries to slip him the ball just on the edge of the box.
63'
G. Whelan enters the game and replaces Muniesa.
Ł. Podolski enters the game and replaces O. Giroud.
Another roll of the dice for both managers, as Giroud comes off for Podolski and Muniesa, who's down injured, gets taken off for Whelan.
62'
Welbeck and Cazorla combine well in the box to keep possession. It's played out wide to Flamini who's made an overlapping run and his cross/shot ends up being a bit of neither as it goes over the crossbar.
61'
C. Chambers gets yellow.
Chambers is booked as he has his arm around Crouch and just pulls the striker back when the home side has the ball.
60'
Diouf races into the box to get on the end of Walters' cross and sees his shot deflected wide pof the far post! The corner is of course played into Crouch who's some way from the net and his acrobatically volley sails harmlessly over the bar.
57'
A SENSATIONAL MOVE FROM SANCHEZ AND HE HITS THE POST! Was that the moment that would have turned this game around? The former Udinese man collected the ball from deep, skipped past Walters, Cameron and Muniesa, rounded the keeper and sent his finish off the near post and out for the home side to clear!
AND ARSENAL HAVE A PENALTY! WHAT A DRASTIC CHANGE OF FORTUNE! From Stoke scoring and being ruled out to Diouf taking down Flamini in the box seconds later to concede a penalty to the visitors!
54'
Stoke are now getting more and more into this, hounding Arsenal and cutting down their passing lanes. The longer this goes on the more desperate the visitors will become, and Hughes' men will want to take advantage of that.
52'
Arsenal's shape now is interesting, with Flamini dropping in to occupy the space left by Bellerin's substitution whenever the home side have possession.
51'
From a wide angle, Bojan goes directly on net and forces Martinez into a fantastic diving save to parry the ball out!
50'
Tenacious defending from Shawcross who robs Giroud just outside the box and sparks a counter. Oxlade-Chamberlain thinks he fairly won the ball from Diouf just near the byline outside of his box on the left but it's judged to be a foul, and Stoke have another free-kick they'll want to whip onto Crouch's head.
49'
This is the sort of start Wenger will have wanted for his side, with Welbeck immediately making an impact but the goals not having arrived just yet. Stoke are under immense pressure at the moment and the ball seems magnetically attracted to the feet of the players in yellow.
48'
After Sanchez's cross is cut out, Gibbs gets on the end of the ball on the overlap and whips in a cross that forces Pieters into an awkward header. The visitors are surging forward here but simply cannot get a shot off.
47'
Welbeck gets involved here almost immediately, smartly letting a pass roll past him before he can turn and shoot to win his side a corner. The ball played in is a poor one however and Begovic collects it without fuss.
46'
P. Crouch gets yellow.
D. Welbeck enters the game and replaces Héctor Bellerín.
And the match is back! In the first minute two noteworthy things happen: Danny Welbeck comes on for Bellerin in a very attacking move from Wenger, who has nothing to lose at this point, and Crouch is booked for an elbow on Mertesacker.
45'
J. Walters has scored a goal for Stoke City!
Another excellent break from Stoke, who work the throw-in all the way down the pitch and force Bellerin into conceding a corner in the dying moments of the first half.
GOAL STOKE! THEY'RE TAKING A 3-0 LEAD INTO THE BREAK! It's an absolute calamity following the corner, where a ball headed downwards by Crouch falls kindly from a deflection into Walters' feet and he simply smashes it into the roof of the net!
44'
Muniesa gets yellow.
And we have the first booking of the game after Muniesa tries to stop Sanchez from breaking free and clumsily misses the ball entirely, bringing down the forward. Instead of Cazorla taking this, it's delivered into the box by Sanchez but sails over everyone and goes out for a Stoke throw-in!
43'
Neither side can get a grip on the ball at the moment as it pings back and forth in the midfield. Eventually, it ends up with Diouf wide, who squares it for Cameron to send back to his defence. Stoke are confidently working the ball up-field.
41'
Sanchez is furious as he's penalized for a handball in Stoke's box as he argues the ball hit his side and not his arm. The call costs Arsenal possession just when they looked to be in a shooting position.
39'
Stoke are insatiable today with Bojan switching flanks at will and causing Arsenal's fullbacks quite a few headaches in terms of marking him.
37'
Arsenal surge forward in search of an equalizer and Sanchez's shot from outside the box is knocked out for a corner. Giroud gets his head onto it and Begovic is forced into an awkward clearance as he pushes the ball over the bar!
35'
Bojan Krkić has scored a goal for Stoke City! Assist by J. Walters.
BOJAN DOUBLES STOKE'S LEAD! OUT OF NEARLY NOTHING! Arsenal are in some serious trouble here after Walters' cross deep in the box found the Spaniard alone making a run onto it and he sends his first touch into the back of the net past Martinez! 2-0 to Stoke!
33'
Cameron finds the ball with acres of space down the middle after some good work by his teammates down the right and he decides to take an effort on goal, though it, too, sails very high over the bar. Both sides have been happy to shoot today but neither have been terribly efficient at it!
31'
Bojan stands over the ball and whips it into the far corner, where Diouf heads it back across goal towards Crouch. There's a mad scuffle to try and get the ball from both teams and the whistle is blown for a foul on Martinez, giving Arsenal a chance to breathe a sigh of relief!
29'
The visitors try to ram their way down the middle of the pitch but find a sea of red in front of them that easily collects the ball when Giroud's first touch shows too much of it to Shawcross. As Walters counters down the left, Gibbs pulls him back and Stoke now have a free-kick just outside the box.
27'
From the corner it comes as little surprise that Bojan looked for Crouch's head, and the striker once again made contact with the ball but once again could not direct his header into the net!
26'
Bellerin tries a quick ball through to Giroud that bisects both midfields and most of Stoke's backline but Begovic races off his line to collect it. Stoke work it down the other end and N'Zonzi's shot is sliced out for a corner by Flamini.
24'
Excellent movement from Arsenal as they work the ball down the left and cross it to the right before Gibbs sends it back into the box. Oxlade-Chamberlain, who's been very active this match, rises high to head it to goal but the ball once again goes over the bar!
22'
Cazorla indeed goes right for net from about 25 yards away but overhits the ball, which sails harmlessly over Begovic's goal. He apologizes to his teammates as he knows he should've done better there!
21'
Bardsley knocks over Sanchez and Arsenal take the free-kick quickly, but the referee isn't happy with the effort and calls it back to be taken again. Cazorla is now standing over it, ready to smash his effort towards goal.
19'
Cazorla finds himself on the edge of the box with some space and takes a dipping shot that goes just over the crossbar!
17'
The visitors' response to Crouch's aerial threat: don't let him get the ball. The full-backs and wingers are doubling up on Stoke's wide players now to prevent crosses from entering the box and it works well when Gibbs and Oxlade-Chamberlain combine to rob Bojan of the ball.
16'
Another near chance for Arsenal! The side won possession deep in Stoke's half and raced forward. Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross nearly found the foot of Ramsey, attempting an overhead kick, but Shawcross got in the way to push it clear!
15'
Tempers are starting to flair here as Crouch and Chambers pull each other to the ground. The striker has been giving Arsenal's new centre-back a nightmare of a start here with his height and is a continued threat on nearly every cross.
14'
Bojan tries to force an opening into Arsenal's box as his pass fails to reach Crouch. At the other end, the visitors commit a similar mistake when a ball sent through for Sanchez to race onto is easily cleared by Begovic. Bojan makes up for it with a superb cross into Crouch's head but the tall striker diverts the ball wide!
12'
Mertesacker steps up with perfect timing to intercept the ball during a dangerous Stoke attack, and though the home side wins back possession and crosses to Crouch to knock-down in the box, none of his teammates get on the end of the loose ball and Arsenal whisk it clear.
10'
From one end right to another, as Walters sends in a cross that keeps Martinez on his toes. The visitors spring Bellerin free down the right and he just manages to keep the ball in with a sliding cross that finds Giroud but the Frenchman can't direct his header on target and it goes wide!
9'
The visitors are starting to settle into a rhythm here and a quick passing sequence sets Giroud in the box with the ball. He's unable to beat either central defender and sends it wide for Gibbs to cross, but it's right into Begovic's grasp.
8'
A brief, nervy moment for Arsenal as Oxlade-Chamberlain loses the ball after a reckless pass that sparks a counter and forces Bellerin to streak down the flank and clear off of Bojan just as the former Barcelona man was running into space!
7'
Much better from Chambers now as he confidently heads a delivery out for Cazorla to orchestrate the counter. Oxlade-Chamberlain switches flanks and Grioud tries a backheel in the box to Sanchez but it doesn't fool Muneisa, who rushes to clear.
6'
Arsenal win a free-kick about halfway into Stoke territory but Cazorla's effort into the box fails to beat the first man. In the follow up play, Sanchez and Bardsley tangle on the wing and the infringement is given to the Arsenal player, who's in much disbelief!
4'
Immense pressure from Stoke here deep in Arsenal's half forces Ramsey to knock the ball out for a throw-in. The visitors are all over the place but get a break when Diouf's touch near the byline goes out for a goal-kick.
2'
Needless to say, a nightmare start for Arsenal, who would have come into this match with a spring in their step after hearing that Jose Mourinho's men lost to Newcastle and therefore cannot emulate their famous Invincible season this year.
1'
P. Crouch has scored a goal for Stoke City! Assist by M. Diouf.
GOOOALLLL FROM THE KICK-OFF! Crouch got on the end of a botched clearance from Chambers in the box, who totally missed a clearing header from the cross, to simply poke the ball into the net from point-blank range! What a howler and what a start we have here as Stoke lead 1-0!
Both sides have suffered a rash of injuries and absences in recent weeks. Stoke will be without Walters, Whelan, Moses, Odemwingie, and Sidwell today, whereas the visitors are missing Wilshere, Ozil, Debuchy, Arteta, Ospina, and Walcott.
Hello and welcome to our live match coverage of Stoke v Arsenal! It's 13th against sixth in a match where both side could really use the points; the home side to push their way closer to the top half of the table, and the visitors for an opportunity to burst back into the top four.
There's certainly been no love lost beween these two sides over the years, especially since Ramsey broke his leg following a terrible tackle from Shawcross four years ago. Both are in the starting eleven today, and Arsenal will need their midfielder to be in sterling form, with the visitors winning just once in seven trips to the Britannia.
The recent form between these two sides could not be more varied; the visitors have won each of their last three between the league and the Champions' League and the home side have lost each of their last three in the Premier League.
Both sides are on the pitch lining up for their pre-match processions. We'll be underway in just a few minutes now!
That's the half! Stoke go into the break with a commanding lead over an Arsenal side that have been terribly exposed by Bojan's trickery and Crouch's height. It's been a fantastic performance from Stoke who look nearly certain to keep all three points today.
As for Arsene Wenger's men, it's been a terrible day, with the offence making chances but not doing much with them at all and the defence exposed by two crosses and a set-piece. He'll need his side to come out roaring and score an early goal to have any chance of taking points here now!
AND THAT'S THE MATCH! STOKE HOLD ON TO WIN 3-2! It's been a thoroughly fascinating and engageing match today as Arsenal nearly came back from a 3-0 first half deficit to take something from the game, but Chambers' sending off proved costly and their defence simply could not deal with Bojan and Crouch!
Hughes will be estatic with his side and Begovic in particular who made some tremendous saves to help them seal the win today! Thank you for joining us here for the match!
