GOOOOOOAAAAL!! Barca round off the win with a fourth goal! Douglas clips a great cross from the right onto the penalty spot and Adriano races in front of his marker to head beyond Manu Herrera!
89'
A save for Ter Stegen! Adrian's shot from 20 yards bounces just in front of the German, who can only parry the effort away to his right. It falls at the feet of Fragapane, but he is unable to find the net with his follow-up as the keeper holds it.
88'
Luis Enrique will be pleased with the performances of Gumbau and Adama tonight, but Munir has been fairly quiet. Halilovic has been spritely since entering the game but he seems to lack the strength for this level at the moment.
86'
Sergi Roberto comes out to the left and spots Pedro bursting towards the box with a diagonal run. He feeds the winger who races into the area before taking a heavy touch which enables Manu Herrera to clear. Bartra eventually picks up the ball and strides forward to strike a wild effort that was nowhere near the target.
84'
This game is ambling towards the final whistle now, but Elche are showing signs that they want to at least get a goal from this game.
82'
Cristian Herrera breaks down the left for Elche before offloading to Coro in the centre. He attempts to feed the striker again with a disguised pass but it's intercepted and his second attempt has too much power behind it and goes out for a goal kick.
80'
The third and final change for Elche sees Fjar come on for Pelegrin.
79'
F. Fajr enters the game and replaces Sergio Pelegrín.
78'
Rafinha again shows brilliant technique and vision to get away from a number of white shirts in the midfield and pick his pass. He feeds Adriano to his left but his shot is straight at the keeper.
Minute
Description
76'
Munir tries his luck with a 20-yard effort from out on the right but he aims it straight at Manu Herrera, who pats the ball down before holding it.
74'
Edu Albacar flights a cross in from deep on the left, looking for Cristian Herrera. Ter Stegen comes from his line and shows great composure to take the ball on his chest and then volley a pass out to the left wing to keep the game moving!
73'
Pedro is stood up by Peral as he skips down the left, looking to cut back inside to create a shooting angle inside the box. The right-back gets a strong foot to the ball and is then held by the winger as he tries to go and collect it. The referee awards a free kick to Escriba's side.
71'
It remains all Barca, but the tempo of the game has slowed somewhat. The hosts aren't even looking to offer a threat on the counterattack now, with Luis Enrique's men in complete control of possession.
69'
Elche's second change sees Galvez make way for Roco.
OFF THE POST! Halilovic receives the ball on the right side of the area and shifts it onto his left foot. He attempts to curl an effort inside the far corner but the upright comes to the hosts' rescue as it keeps the Croatian's effort out. Some debut goal that would've been!
68'
E. Roco enters the game and replaces Rafa Gálvez.
67'
Lovely, intricate play between Halilovic and Sergi Roberto on the right side of the box sends the Spaniard. He attempts a backheel to set up Munir in the middle but his pass is cut out. The corner is taken short and fails to lead to Manu Herrera being tested.
66'
Pedro does superbly to get away from his marker down by the corner and the ball is worked to Adriano. This time he sets up for the shot on his right foot and he blazes it high and wide of the goal.
64'
Adriano earns a yellow card for his challenge on Gimenez, who used his body well to roll the Brazilian just inside the Barca half.
63'
Adriano gets yellow.
62'
Adrián enters the game and replaces M. Pašalić.
Changes from both sides now. Montoya and Adama are replaced by Douglas and Halilovic for the visitors, while Pasalic makes way for Adrian for the hosts.
61'
Douglas Pereira enters the game and replaces Martín Montoya.
A. Halilović enters the game and replaces Adama Traoré.
60'
Edu Albacar fails to control a pass from deep and Adama is lurking behind him. However, the slightest of touches from the left-back takes the ball far enough away from him so he is unable to capitalise. Elche break well but Mathieu cuts out Fragapane's cutback.
59'
That would've been lovely! Rafinha's fancy footwork as he moves towards the top of the box enables him to slide a pass into the box for Pedro, but the winger is adjudged offside.
57'
Elche have shown signs of improvement in the last few minutes but Ter Stegen remains largely untested so far.
55'
WHAT A CHANCE! Edu Albacar bends a great cross in behind the defence and Coro gets between Mathieu and Bartra to attack it. He stretches out a foot but can't quite reach it, and the ball bounces behind for a goal kick to the Blaugrana.
54'
Gimenez breaks down the right and Sergi Roberto races alongside him to try and take away the ball. He clips the Elche man, though, and the referee awards them a free kick.
53'
Adama goes on a fantastic run down the right, beating Albacar and Pelegrin before having his cross blocked. The visitors are awarded a free kick but it's sent too deep and Elche come away with the ball.
51'
MUNIR! Rafinha's cross from the right sees the striker challenge Manu Herrera for the ball. He beats the keeper to it with his head, yet he fails to direct his effort on target.
49'
SO CLOSE! Sergi Roberto plays in Adama on the right with a lovely, scooped pass. Manu Herrera rushes out to meet him and the winger seems in two minds as he rolls the ball wide of the target in what is neither an effort on goal or a cross for Pedro!
48'
SHOCKING! Gimenez gets into space near the byline on the right and he pulls the ball back for Cristian Herrera. He is unmarked, but his touch is so bad that Adriano is able to intercept and launch the visitors on a break.
47'
Montoya pushes forward and plays a one-two with Sergi Roberto, whose lay-off is a brilliant flick, before smashing his shot just shy of the far corner! That would've been a lovely goal.
46'
We're back underway!
45'
Cristian Herrera plays a one-two with Coro to get into space in the box but he fires wide of the target and the referee brings the half to a close.
43'
Penalty goal scored by Pedro for Barcelona!
GOOOOOOOAAAAL!! Pedro is as cool as ice as he steps up and sweeps the penalty into the bottom corner, sending Manu Herrera the wrong way! A commanding lead at the break for Barca, then.
42'
PENALTY TO BARCA! Montoya's deflected cross falls to Munir in the area and he spins away from Pelegrin and drives to the line. Edu Albacar attempts to get back in and make a challenge but he catches the Blaugrana forward and the referee points to the spot.
40'
Sergi Roberto has scored a goal for Barcelona!
Pasalic picks up a loose ball on the halfway line and he surges down the middle of the park, closing in on the Barca box. Before he can think about pulling the trigger, though, Montoya gets a foot in to send it back to Ter Stegen.
GOOOOOOAAAAAL!! Sergi Roberto arrives in space 20 yards from goal, and upon receiving the ball from Montoya he takes a touch to set himself for a shot. He strikes it sweetly, rifling an effort around the defender and just inside the upright! There was no chance of Manu Herrera keeping that out.
38'
We are edging closer to half time now and Elche have very little to show for their efforts so far. Whenever they get in possession they just cannot keep hold of it, and they are being worn down by their opponents.
36'
Great run from Adama! He spins away from Edu Albacar on the right and drives into the box. Rather than darting to the byline he cuts inside this time, moving away from Pelegrin and creating space for a shot which he fires narrowly wide of the target.
34'
Rafinha has been impressive in the centre of the park so far tonight, and again he wins the ball inside the Elche half and then feeds Adama to his right. He drives to the byline where Edu Albacar diverts his cross behind for a corner.
32'
Barca have had 67 per cent of possession so far this evening and have looked particularly bright down their right wing. However, the final ball is consistenlty not being met with an end product in the box.
30'
We've got a short break in play now as Lomban has stayed down after challenging Sergi Roberto to a header inside the box. The Barca man came down on his foot, and it only looks like he's taken the centre-back's boot off!
29'
José Antonio Peral gets yellow.
Peral picks up the games second yellow card after clattering through the back of Pedro.
28'
Cristian Herrera breaks down the left wing and has Coro in support inside the box. He attempts to square the ball for his team-mate but Bartra intercepts, knocking it back for Ter Stegen to clear.
27'
Barca are pressing high and forcing the hosts to play the long ball whenever they receive it, resulting in Luis Enrique's men picking it back up and starting the cycle again.
25'
A fantastic pass sends Montoya charging towards the byline and he rides a challenge before fizzing a cutback into the box. He fails to pick out a team-mate, though, and Elche immediately attempt to break away again.
24'
Pedro makes a diagonal run inside from the left and he is played in at the byline. He has to cut back to stop the ball from going out but he still has time to centre it for Sergi Roberto, who doesn't get enough on it to worry Manu Herrera.
22'
Barca have deserved that goal, but it will be a real blow for Elche who had begun to have a greater influence on the game. The visitors now look comfortable in possession again and will want to add to their tally.
20'
J. Mathieu has scored a goal for Barcelona!
That could have been a red! Rafinha slides a brilliant pass down the channel for Adama to chase and Albacar, knowing he won't catch him, cynically trips the forward. The referee awards the free kick but only shows the Elche captain a yellow card.
GOOOOOOAAAAL!! WHAT A STRIKE! Mathieu steps up to take the free kick and he curls it over the wall and into the top corner from 25 yards! Manu Herrera got a hand to it but he couldn't stop it rustling the back of the net! A very impressive strike from the Frenchman.
19'
Edu Albácar gets yellow.
Rafinha wins the ball inside his own half and attempts to send a long pass over the top of the Elche defence for Munir to run onto. Lomban anticipates it and backpedals to intercept with a header that he cushions down for Pelegrin.
17'
STAT: Elche have failed to win any of their previous 15 meetings with Barca in all competitions.
15'
That's much more positive from Elche! Peral's cross from the right is deep but Pelegrin is still up and manages to cushion a header down for Cristian Herrera. He takes it on his chest but has to stretch to connect with a volley which ends up going over the top due to a deflection. Pasalic's delivery from the subsequent corner is quickly cleared.
13'
Elche get their first shot of the game off but Galvez's attempt was never heading on target and bends high and wide of the goal from 25 yards.
11'
Barca pack the box with bodies but opt to take the free kick, earned from a Pasalic challenge on Rafinha, short. Pedro sends it right to Adama, who quickly passes back inside for Adriano. The Brazilian shifts the ball to his left foot and then skews a shot from 25 yards outside of the upright.
10'
Luis Enrique may have made 11 changes from his selection at the weekend but Barca are already in total control of this game. They've dominated possession from the off and are already creating chances.
8'
WHAT A MISS! Sergi Roberto's cross to the back post is nodded into the centre by Pedro but Rafinha fails to control it. Still, the chance doesn't evaporate until Adriano arrives to connect with a shot which he scuffs wide of the target!
6'
Rafinha turns brilliantly on the halfway line and strolls forward before sending a pass out to Pedro on the left wing. The Spain international surges into the box but lets the ball get away from him. Sergi Roberto is quick to pounce on possession but his switch to the far side brings the move to a halt.
4'
Adama tricks his way to the byline and cuts the ball back at pace, but none of his team-mates can get a foot on it. Elche attempt to break on their opponents but Gumbau takes down Gimenez and the hosts are awarded a free kick.
3'
Barca cut Elche open for the first time this evening and, although the flag goes up for an offside decision, Munir is denied from Pedro's through ball by a good save from Manu Herrera. That was a close call, and it may have been incorrect from the official on the near side.

We are underway!
Hello and welcome to tonight's LIVE coverage of the second leg of Elche and Barcelona's Copa del Rey last 16 clash. The Blaugrana hold a commanding 5-0 lead from the first leg so it will take a miracle at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero for Fran Escriba's man to progress. However, their task is made slightly easier as Luis Enrique has opted to field a second-string side for tonight's clash. Whatever happens, my name is Tom Webber and I will be guiding you through all the action.
The winners of this tie, which will surely be Barcelona, will face the whoever comes out on top in the clash between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. A Clasico quarter-final seems unlikely, though, as with 20 minutes remaining Carlo Ancelotti's men need three goals to avoid elimination at the hands of their city rivals.
BARCA TEAM NEWS: Luis Enrique has called up six players from the B team, three of whom are handed starting spots as he takes the opportunity to rest no fewer than nine first-team regulars. Adama Traore and Munir will form the front three alongside Pedro, and Gerard Gumbau is handed a debut in midfield alongside Sergi Roberto and Rafinha. Edgar Ie, Alen Halilovic and Diawandou Diagne are among the substitutes.
Elche (4-2-3-1): E. Herrera; Peral, Lomban, Pelegrin, Edu Albacar; Galvez, Pasalic; Coro, Gimenez, Fragapane; C. Herrera.
ELCHE TEAM NEWS: Escriba makes wholesale changes from the side that earned an impressive 2-1 win over Athletic Club at the new San Mames. In total there are nine alterations, with David Lomban and Mario Pasalic the only players to retain their places. Defender Damian Suarez is suspended.
It has been over 40 years since Elche’s last win over Barcelona. In December 1974, los Franjiverdes defeated a Blaugrana side including Johan Cruyff 1-0 in front of their own fans. It'll take a few more goals than that tonight to keep their Copa del Rey campaign alive, though.
Barca B player Adama scored a delightful solo goal after coming off the bench in the 8-1 win over Huesca in the previous round of the Copa del Rey. It will be interesting to see how he fares over 90 minutes tonight. Highly-rated Croatian youngster Halilovic will be keen to impress should he make his debut for the first-team over the course of the evening too.
So, with the end of the game at the Santiago Bernabeu it is Atletico Madrid who await the victors of this tie in the quarter-finals. Kick off is just a few moments away.
HALF TIME - Elche 0-3 Barca (agg 0-8): Luis Enrique made 11 changes to his team for tonight's outing but that hasn't stopped them from dominating proceedings. Mathieu opened the scoring with a sublime free kick and shortly before the break Sergi Roberto and Pedro added to their tally. Los Franjiverdes need nine goals if they are to qualify now, which is near impossible. Still, expect to see plenty more from the promoted Barca B players tonight.
FULL TIME - Elche 0-4 Barca (agg 0-9): The Blaugrana will meet Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey quarter-final after crushing their last-16 opponents over two legs. Goals from Mathieu, Sergi Roberto, Pedro and Adriano secured Luis Enrique's second-string side an emphatic victory away from home.
The coach will be pleased with the performances of some of his fringe players, including those brought in from the B side. They will become increasingly important given the current transfer ban on the club. That's all we have time for tonight, though. Thanks for joining me, Tom Webber, and have a great night.
