Feghouli flights a cross towards Slimani at the top of the box but Gbohouo claims it. He eventually kicks it out and the final whistle goes! Cote d'Ivoire are into the semi-finals!
90' +4
Y. Gervinho has scored a goal for Côte d'Ivoire! Assist by J. Tallo.
GOOOOOOOAAAAL!! COTE D'IVOIRE ARE THROUGH! Algeria are caught short on the break, with Tallo carrying the ball down the right wing before squaring to Gervinho on the penalty he spot. He takes a touch before rolling a right-footed finish into the bottom corner!
90' +3
Belfodil is released down the right and he floats a cross towards Brahimi at the far side of the area. It's headed away by the Cote d'Ivoire free kick, though he should perhaps of sent it in low for Slimani.
90' +1
J. Tallo enters the game and replaces W. Bony.
We are going to have four minutes of added time. Renard must be sure his team are through as he's taken off Bony, replacing him with Gadji Tallo!
90'
S. Taïder gets yellow.
Taider is shown a yellow card for dissent after the referee awards Cote d'Ivoire a free kick for his foul on Bony. The frustration is mounting for the Desert Warriors!
88'
The corner is pinged to the back post, where Gbohouo fails to claim it before Yaya Toure hoofs it clear. Gervinho chases it down and outmuscles Taider to race through on goal, but the referee pulls play back for a free kick to Algeria.
87'
Feghouli fires a cross towards the near post for Slimani to attack, but Gbohouo is there first. He catches some slight contact from his opponent and starts writhing around on the ground, clearly hoping to waste some time before the next corner.
86'
SAVE FROM GBOHOUO! Algeria are really stepping up the pressure here and a free kick from 30 yards is hit like a rocket by Ghoulam. It looks to be heading wide of the target but the keeper leaps across and turns it around the post anyway.
84'
SLIMANI AGAIN! A fantastic cross from the left by Ghoulam is met by the head of the substitute in the box, but he is stretching when he makes contact and cannot divert the ball on target. Gbohouo came to claim it and got nowhere near it!
82'
Almost a catastrophe at the back for the Elephants! Bailly and Kolo Toure tackle one another as they chase Feghouli's attempted through-ball into the box. Slimani holds off and attempts to pounce on it, but he is beaten to it by Gbohouo.
Minute
Description
81'
SLIMANI! The striker nearly scores a sublime equaliser, flicking Feghouli's cross on target with his trailing leg, but it takes a deflection and goes out of play for a corner. He tries to get his team-mates fired up!
80'
There are 10 minutes remaining for Algeria to keep their AFCON campaign alive now. Cote d'Ivoire have returned to defending with that back five that kept Gourcuff's men at bay in the first half.
78'
N. Bentaleb gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game is finally shown by referee and it goes in the direction of Bentaleb. The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder barged Gradel to ground and then had a little kick at Bony, though he went flying and the Manchester City man stayed on his feet!
77'
That would have been a penalty if Belfodil went down! Bailly is all over him as he dribbles into the box from the right, but he stays on his feet and tries to pick out a team-mate, which doesn't come to anything.
76'
Die goes through the back of Brahimi on the left, resulting in a free kick for the Fennec Foxes. This time Taider's ball into the box is poor and is headed away by the first defender.
74'
It's a bit of a gamble from Gourcuff, with Slimani struggling for fitness. Brahimi may move out to the left with that change, allowing for Beldofil to play alongside the Sporting striker up top.
72'
I. Belfodil enters the game and replaces R. Mahrez.
I. Slimani enters the game and replaces H. Soudani.
Gourcuff makes a pair of changes now, with Mahrez and Soudani making way for Belfodil and Silmani.
71'
Bailly makes a real hash of his attempted clearance, hooking the ball high up inside his own area. Gbohouo comes from his line to claim it ahead of Feghouli but completely flaps at it! However, somewhere the referee sees a foul and awards the Elephants a free kick.
70'
If Soudani wasn't kicking himself for missing that opening moments ago, he certainly will be now! His side are behind once more and are in danger of suffering elimination.
68'
W. Bony has scored a goal for Côte d'Ivoire! Assist by Y. Touré.
GOOOOOOAAAL!! BONY GETS HIS SECOND! The striker rushes across to the near post, getting ahead of Medjani to divert Yaya Toure's set-piece delivery into the back of the net! What a time to score for the Elephants!
67'
C. Doukouré enters the game and replaces S. Tiéné.
Penalty claim for Cote d'Ivoire! A cross is fired in from the right and Bony attacks it at the near post. He goes down under pressure from Mandi but the referee sees nothing in it!
Renard makes the first change of the game, replacing Tiene with Doukoure.
66'
WHAT A SAVE! Feghouli's cross from the right is helped on by Brahimi and the ball falls perfectly for Soudani on the edge of the six-yard box. He has plenty of the goal to aim at but Gbohouo scrambles across his goal to get his body in the way!
64'
Gervinho is released down the left wing and he cuts inside, riding a challenge from Mandi on his way into the box. Bougherra stands him up, forcing the Roma man to reduce his speed and thus sapping the momentum from the attack. The ball is moved over to the right, from where Aurier arrows an effort wide of the far upright.
62'
Gradel is back defending and he slides in to make a brilliant challenge on Ghoulam. The Napoli goes down in a dramatic fashion, clearly trying to win a free kick, but the referee points only for a throw in.
60'
There are 30 minutes remaining now, and Algeria are certainly looking the more likely to find the next goal. Die attempts to catch the Fennec Foxes on the counterattack but he is forced to turn back after being faced up by Medjani.
58'
This game is really opening up now! Feghouli runs at Kanon, shifting the ball past him and into space inside the box. He attempts to slide a shot into the far corner but Tiene slides in to make a crucial late interception.
57'
Some lovely play from Algeria on the right frees up Feghouli to drive a cross in. He aims it towards Soudani but it takes a deflection and is hacked away by the Cote d'Ivoire defence.
56'
Taider spots Feghouli making a run from outside to in and he attempts to feed him by zipping a pass to the top of the box. It is just about cut out by Kanon, though. That would've been a great move.
55'
The Elephants are looking very nervous defensively now, and they concede yet another free kick out on the left. Taider pings it into the box but once more Gbohouo is commanding when vacating his line, punching the ball into touch.
53'
Aurier gets his head to a free kick from the left, getting his effort on target from the top of the box. It would take something special to trouble M'Bolhi from there, and that isn't it!
51'
H. Soudani has scored a goal for Algeria! Assist by R. Mahrez.
GOOOOOOAAAAL!!! ALGERIA ARE LEVEL! That is utterly woeful defending from Cote d'Ivoire! A long ball up the pitch from Feghouli is helped on to Mahrez by Soudani. Kanon rushes across to close the Leicester City man but cannot stop him from returning the pass to his team-mate. It travels through the legs of Bailly before the Dinamo striker slams it into the net!
50'
GERVINHO! The Roma man receives the ball inside the box and he spins towards the centre before trying to roll a shot inside the near post. Medjani makes an important block to take the pace off the effort, and M'Bolhi is subsequently able to collect it.
49'
Brahimi catches Gradel on the far side and the referee blows for a free kick to the Elephants. The delivery is cleared away by the head of Medjani, which is a disappointment to Renard on the touchline.
47'
Bougherra hesitates in possession and is closed down by Bony and Gervinho. His loose touch enables the Roma man to sprint towards the byline, but before he can get too far the referee whistles for a foul against his team-mate.
46'
We are back underway!
45' +2
GHOULAM! The left-back strikes a free kick with venom from just outside the centre circle but it swings wide at the last moment! It's the last effort of the half, as the referee brings the opening period to a close.
45' +1
Toure blasts Feghouli's cross behind for a corner, and when the delivery comes in it is comfortably claimed by Gbohouo. He's somehow managed to look full of confidence at some points and completely bereft of it at others!
45'
There are going to be two added minutes at the end of this half.
44'
A thunderous shot from Taider swerves towards the goal from around 40 yards. Gbohouo shuffles across his goal and gets his body behind the ball and it takes him two attempts to finally bring it under his control.
43'
Bailly concedes a free kick for clambering over the back of Feghouli near the halfway line, and he catches an elbow for his troubles. The Valencia man has a little kick out at the Ivorian from the deck but, although the referee is looking straight at him, there is no punishment.
41'
BONY! Once again the striker is fed by Gradel, though this time it is 25 yards out from goal. Still, the Manchester City man decides to have a go and slices a powerful shot wide of the target.
40'
Algeria are awarded another free kick inside the Cote d'Ivoire half but this time Taider's delivery is disappointing, flying over all the heads in the box and going straight out of play for a goal kick.
39'
The tempo of the game has really dropped off as we approach half time. Renard is surely eager for his team to simply go into the interval with their lead intact.
37'
Ghoulam clips a great cross in from the left with the outside of his foot, but Kanon is positioned brilliantly to hack it away. He turns away and gets ready to defend the resultant corner, but the spin on the ball keeps it in play. Aurier eventually clears, though.
35'
Brahimi receives possession in the centre of the Cote d'Ivoire half and slides a great pass down the right-hand channel for Mandi to chase. The defender is adjudged offside, though. Algeria are lacking a focal point in attack in the absence of Slimani.
34'
There's not enough pace in Algeria's passing, meaning they're playing at a low tempo and struggling to create openings in the Elephants' five-man defence.
32'
Cote d'Ivoire have grown in confidence since that goal and are now forcing Algeria to retreat further and further back. Their passing has improved and Gervinho and Gradel are becoming more involved.
30'
Brahimi drifts across to the right and receives the ball from Mandi. He attempts to spin away from Kanon and dart beyond Yaya Toure, but the centre-back keeps pace with him and ends up drawing a foul for which the referee awards a free kick.
28'
Bony was also on target when these sides last met, in the group stages of the 2013 AFCON. His goal secured a 2-2 draw which eliminated the Fennec Foxes from the tournament. Will they suffer the same fate at his hands tonight?
26'
W. Bony has scored a goal for Côte d'Ivoire! Assist by M. Gradel.
GOOOOOOOAAAL!! COTE D'IVOIRE LEAD! Gradel bends in a superb cross from the right and Bony beats the offside trap, darting into space between Bougherra and Mandi to nod beyond an idle M'Bolhi!
24'
OFF THE POST! Gervinho comes deep on the left and draws a foul from Mandi, resulting in a free kick to the Elephants. The set-piece is met by Aurier, who angles a header towards the bottom corner which cannons back off the upright!
22'
Cote d'Ivoire are beginning to have a greater influence on the game, but they don't seem capable of feeding Gervinho, Gradel and Bony with enough service.
20'
Soudani wins a free kick after being sandwiched between Bailly and Die. Taider swings it into the box at pace and Kolo Toure's header drops kindly for Mahrez, but he blazes his shot high over the top of the goal!
18'
GRADEL! Once more Die opens up the play by striding forwards through the middle and releasing the ball to the wing. He picks out the Saint-Etienne man on the right who brings it inside before skewing a left-footed shot wide of the near post!
16'
Brilliant! Renard is being asked by the officials on the touchline to don a pink a bib as his trademark crisp white shirt is too similar to the Algeria jersey!
14'
Die releases Gervinho in acres of space on the right and he enters the box from a wide position. He only has Bony and Gradel in support but fails to find either of them, sending his pass all the way through to the other side of the pitch.
13'
Good work from Die! The Basel man gets back and puts Brahimi under pressure, winning the ball and launching his side down the other end of the pitch.
11'
This has been a very positive start from the Desert Warriors, controlling possession and forcing the Elephants back inside their own half. They've been guilty of holding the ball for long periods but not doing anything with it in their previous games, and they cannot afford that again tonight.
9'
CHANCE FOR ALGERIA! Brahimi wriggles his way into the box from the left before having his shot deflected across the face of goal. Gbohouo comes off his line to claim but then backtracks, and Kanon's clearance falls to Soudani inside the box. The striker hits it quickly to avoid being closed down and he fires it straight at the keeper!
7'
Yaya Toure is again penalised for an overzealous challenge, this time on Brahimi, and the referee awards Algeria another free kick. Their set-pieces have been poor so far, and Mahrez fails to provide improvement as his delivery is headed away by Bony.
5'
Aurier gets shouted at for playing a short rabona pass just inside his own half. Cote d'Ivoire do not look comfortable in posession in these opening stages and after moving it across to the left for Kanon, he gifts it straight back to the opposition. Yaya Toure fouls Taider in his attempts to regain it for the Elephants.
3'
Ghoulam races forward on the left and earns a corner off Bailly as his attempted cross is blocked. Brahimi's subsequent delivery is knocked behind for another set-piece which is taken short. The Porto man then sends it into the middle from a deeper position and Gbohouo claims it confidently.
1'
We are off in Malabo!
COTE D'IVOIRE TEAM NEWS: Gervinho returns available once again after serving his suspension and is instantly restored to the starting line-up. Seydou Doumbia is the man dropped to make way, while Cheick Tiote is out of contention due to injury.
ALGERIA TEAM NEWS: Islam Slimani's injury problems continue, meaning El Arbi Hillel Soudani keeps his place in attack. Yacine Brahimi and Madjid Bougherra both took knocks in the 2-0 triumph over Senegal but remain in the starting line-up, which is unchanged from that game.
Cote d’Ivoire (3-4-3): Gbohouo; Bailly, K. Toure, Kanon; Aurier, Y. Toure, Die, Tiene; Gervinho, Bony, Gradel.
The winner of this match will face DR Congo in the semi-finals in Bata on Wednesday. Given that these nations were the two pre-tournament favourites, you'd have to fancy whoever comes out on top to go all the way. However, the competition has sprung a few surprises so far!
The Fennec Foxes may take confidence from the fact that they eliminated Cote d’Ivoire at this stage of the tournament back in 2010, winning 3-2 after extra time. The last time they defeated the Elephants in regulation time, though, was in a 4-1 triumph all the way back in 1996.
The teams are out on the pitch and the national anthems are underway. This game has the makings of a classic, so let's hope it lives up to that billing!
The pre-match formalities are over, so we will be underway in just a few moments.
My name is Tom Webber and I will be guiding you through this mouthwatering clash tonight. Cote d’Ivoire lost in the final of both the 2006 and 2012 AFCON editions, and coach Herve Renard has insisted that anything other than lifting the trophy will be considered failure for the Elephants. Algeria, meanwhile, progressed through the difficult Group C so have not been strangers to pressure in this campaign. However, they will need the likes of Sofiane Feghouli and Yacine Brahimi to really up their game if they are to advance.
There is just one more space remaining in the line-up for the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, meaning one of the pre-tournament favourites will be eliminated this evening. Neither Cote d'Ivoire nor Algeria have really shown their full capabilities in Equatorial Guinea and will surely need to improve tonight if they are to be the nation to progress. It's the most exciting, anticipated game of the AFCON so far and you can follow all the action LIVE right here!
HALF TIME - Cote d'Ivoire 1-0 Algeria: The Fennec Foxes began the game brightly, but, after failing to find a route through the resilient Elephants defence, they fell behind to a header from Bony. The north African side need a focal point in attack so may look to Belfodil for a route back into the game. Stay tuned for the second half!
FULL TIME - Cote d'Ivoire 3-1 Algeria: The Elephants are into the final four thanks to two goals from Bony and a late strike from Gervinho. Soudani got the Fennec Foxes back into the game early in the second half but they couldn't push on and add to their tally, and it's cost them their place in the tournament.
Cote d'Ivoire will now face DR Congo in the semi-finals on Wednesday, though there is still room for improvement from them. That's all we have time for tonight, though. Thank you for joining me, Tom Webber, and have a great evening.
