That is it! West Brom end their shocking home run against Stoke and Tony Pulis can celebrate a second successive victory against his former club. West Brom are surely safe now for another season, while Mark Hughes' side must reflect on the end of their winning run following a disappointing display.
90' +5
C. Baird enters the game and replaces S. Berahino.
90' +4
Myhill cleans out Crouch on the edge of the West Brom box as the striker looks to latch on to a long punt forward, but Arnautovic delivers a terrible free-kick and that will most likely be that!
90' +3
B. Myhill gets yellow.
90' +2
Bardsley tumbles in the West Brom box following Stoke's best move of the match, but Gareth McAuley got ball as well as man. No penalty!! Olsson has been positioned up front as a target man as the Baggies look to hold on.
90' +1
There will be five minutes of added time for Stoke to rescue a point. Adam almost catches out Myhill with a driven effort from the left, but the goalkeeper gets down well at his near post.
90'
J. Olsson enters the game and replaces B. Ideye.
Goalscorer Ideye comes off with an apparent injury late on, to be replaced by central defender Jonas Olsson.
89'
Another ball into the West Brom box comes to nothing, with Crouch failing to direct a flick-on into Whelan's path. Stoke look set to suffer a first Premier League defeat at The Hawthorns.
87'
Cameron gives the ball away with a dreadful pass that pretty much sums up Stoke's performance going forward. There is still time for the Potters, but not much, and West Brom look solid as a rock.
86'
Michael Oliver has a quick word with Fletcher during a break in play. Is the official unimpressed by some time-wasting from West Brom, perhaps?
Minute
Description
84'
Still no real threat from the visitors as the clock ticks down. Crouch meets a deep cross from Bardsley, but his header from a narrow angle poses no problem for Myhill at the keeper's near post.
82'
Arnautovic is caught offside as Stoke aim to break quickly from the resulting corner. Mark Hughes has a face like thunder on the touchline.
81'
Morrison has been excellent in the second half and he takes aim from 25 yards to bring a useful save from Begovic.
79'
With the exception of a brief spell at the start of the second half, Stoke have not really looked like scoring. They only have just over 10 minutes left to rescue something from a fixture they traditionally fare well in.
78'
Another decision goes against Shawcross, who continues to engage in a physical battle with Berahino. Diouf and Arnautovic have yet to make any impression following their second-half introductions.
77'
Cameron is at the heart of the action again as he makes a sliding challenge to deny James Morrison following an excellent, surging run from the midfielder.
76'
From a similar position, Brunt sends over another outswinging cross. The ball is nodded into Dawson's path and the defender then tumbles under a challenge from Cameron to prompt appeals for a penalty. I think Stoke get lucky as the referee waves play on.
74'
M. Diouf gets yellow.
Brunt delivers and Stoke get the ball away at the second attempt. Tony Pulis will be much happier with what he's seen since that brief flurry of corners for the visitors 10 minutes ago. A Diouf foul on Sessegnon brings another free-kick and a yellow card for the substitute.
73'
Ryan Shawcross and Saido Berahino are having a right old battle and the latter is brought down by Stoke's captain to give West Brom a free-kick in a dangerous position.
71'
A fine cross from Brunt is headed back across goal by Ideye, but no West Brom player is there to pick up the pieces. Stoke are running out of time.
69'
Berahino and Darren Fletcher see goalbound shots charged down as West Brom look to wrap up the points with a second goal.
68'
M. Diouf enters the game and replaces J. Walters.
Sessegnon is angered by a challenge from Adam, forcing referee Michael Oliver to speak to both men. Stoke are forced into a third enforced change of the afternoon as Walters leaves the fray to be replaced by Mame Biram Diouf, a scorer against Everton last time out.
67'
GREAT SAVE FROM BEGOVIC! West Brom's first attack in some time ends with the ball finding Ideye on the left. He cuts onto his right foot and fires towards the far corner, only for Stoke's goalkeeper to palm the shot wide.
66'
Walters suffers a facial injury following a collision with Dawson and West Brom are eventually able to get the ball out of their own half.
64'
Myhill almost gets caught under the resulting corner, but recovers to paw the ball behind. A third corner in succession is forced as McAuley heads clear.
63'
A strong challenge from Bardsley gets Stoke onto the front foot. West Brom clear the initial danger, but are soon under pressure again and a clever, looping header from Walters brings a good save from Myhill.
61'
Chances continue to prove elusive for Stoke, but they have at least gained a measure of control after being second best in the opening half. Much of the play is taking place in West Brom's half and the hosts are looking nervy.
60'
West Brom are being pegged back, but Myhill's first touch is a straightforward one as he collects a mis-directed cross from the left.
58'
M. Arnautović enters the game and replaces V. Moses.
Ah, Moses is down on his haunches again. We're going to lose our third player to injury this afternoon, with the forward following Pieters and Foster in withdrawing from the action. That's a real blow for Stoke, who turn to Marko Arnautovic.
57'
Moses seems ok and will continue, for the time being at least. Stoke have dominated possession since the interval, but continue to trail to Ideye's first-half header.
56'
B. Myhill enters the game and replaces B. Foster.
55'
Now Moses is down injured ... and Foster is coming off to be replaced in the West Brom goal by Myhill, who started the recent FA Cup defeat to Aston Villa.
54'
Stoke do well to clear a Craig Gardner free-kick following a cynical foul that earned Wilson a booking. Berahino then heads wide from a Morrison cross and the hosts look to have come to life again.
53'
M. Wilson gets yellow.
Chris Brunt takes over goal-kicking duties as play resumes. I'm not sure Foster will be able to carry on.
52'
Foster appears to have injured his left leg when failing to collect that cross under pressure from Crouch. Boaz Myhill is warming up for West Brom.
51'
Stoke fans familiar with the methods of Pulis may not be all that surprised to hear that West Brom have dropped deeper at the start of this second half. Foster makes a mess of a cross from the left, but Crouch cannot capitalise and Phil Bardsley fires over after Lescott had hacked the ball away.
49'
McAuley is dispossessed by Moses, but James Morrison gets back well to halt a Stoke break. The visitors come again, with a Crouch flick-on causing momentary concern, but West Brom hold firm.
47'
Cameron has taken up a place in the heart of Stoke's defence, which has been beset by injuries this season, with Marc Wilson shifting to left-back in Pieters' absence.
46'
G. Cameron enters the game and replaces E. Pieters.
Geoff Cameron replaces Erik Pieters for Stoke at the start of the second half. Victory for West Brom would lift them 11 points clear of the relegation zone and surely guarantee safety.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: West Brom lead through a Brown Ideye header and a one-goal advantage is the least they deserve.
45' +2
Dawson leaps high to head Adam's delivery away and any pressure is swiftly relieved as Moses brings down Gardner on the edge of West Brom's area.
45' +1
Two minutes to be added on at The Hawthorns, where home goalkeeper Foster has had very little to do so far. Stoke have a chance to change that with a free-kick on the right.
44'
Gardner charges down a long ball forward from Pieters, only to be penalised for handball. The atmosphere has cranked up a notch with the interval approaching and West Brom's supporters clearly feel aggrieved.
42'
West Brom's centre-forwards are able to continue, but the home fans and players are not impressed with Adam, who kicks the ball right into the corner after the Baggies had put the ball out for Ideye to receive treatment. Fletcher has words with his fellow Scot.
41'
Berahino and Sessegnon have caused problems throughout this first half, but the former is left limping after a seemingly innocuous collision with Charlie Adam. Brown Ideye is also hurt after a tackle from the same Stoke midfielder.
39'
The set-piece comes to nothing. You get the feeling Stoke may be happy for half-time to arrive, so they can regroup. This has not been the sort of performance you would anticipate from a side that has won their last three.
37'
Stoke appear to be lacking a spark at present and can consider themselves fortunate to only be a goal behind. Whelan concedes another free-kick near the corner flag on the left, fouling the lively Sessegnon.
35'
That was a real howler from Begovic, who will be mightily relieved that his uncharacteristic blunder has not proved costly. Pulis is furious, but Ideye was offside as the initial ball was played through.
34'
IDEYE HAS THE BALL IN THE NET AGAIN, BUT THE GOAL IS DISALLOWED!! Begovic drops the ball at the feet of the striker, who accepts the gift to score. However, the goalkeeper's blushes are spared by an offside flag.
32'
Stoke slow things down before hitting Crouch with a diagonal ball. The former England striker attempts an ambitious half-volley on the turn, but his effort comfortably clears the crossbar.
30'
ALMOST A SECOND FOR WEST BROM!! Dawson delivers a lovely pass into the right channel for Berahino, who drags his shot across goal with the angle narrowing rapidly.
28'
West Brom are pressing the ball very well, as you might expect from a Tony Pulis side. A period of Stoke possession comes to nothing before Ideye wins a free-kick on halfway.
26'
Craig Dawson overlaps down the right for West Brom and is almost found by Sessegnon. Chris Brunt swings over the resulting corner and Fletcher fires over after the initial delivery is headed out to the edge of the box by Peter Crouch.
23'
Moses continues to look the most likely source of a goal for Stoke, who are looking to regroup after Ideye's goal. The visitors win a corner, but Adam's delivery evades everyone and goes out for a goal kick.
20'
It looked as though Stoke were starting to get on top after their shaky start, but Mark Hughes' men now find themselves behind and with work to do to extend their winning run at this venue.
19'
B. Ideye has scored a goal for West Bromwich Albion! Assist by C. Gardner.
GOAL to West Brom! Brown Ideye!! Gardner curls over a cross from the right and Ideye is too strong for Phil Bardsley. Having got in front of his marker, he directs a low header beyond Begovic to delight the home fans!
17'
Ideye goes down easily under pressure from Shawcross and the referee is less than impressed. Moses is seeing more and more of the ball as the Potters start to find their stride.
15'
Stoke appear to have weathered the early storm and are starting to enjoy longer spells of possession. Moses sees a shot from distance blocked before Darren Fletcher does well to cut out a dangerous cross from the left.
11'
Stoke threaten for the first time as the ball breaks to Moses 30 yards from goal. He has space to shoot, but fires high into the stand behind Ben Foster's goal.
10'
Victor Moses tracks back well to snuff out another West Brom attack. Applause rings around The Hawthorns in memory of former Baggies striker Jeff Astle.
8'
Another shot from Berahino takes a deflection, but Begovic is equal to the task again. Stoke are struggling to impose themselves early on.
6'
Good work from Sessegnon leads to another West Brom corner. Pulis' men have made a very bright start here, although Glenn Whelan clears the latest set-piece at the near post.
3'
The first chance of the game goes to the hosts, but Asmir Begovic is able to parry a 20-yard effort from Saido Berahino away for a corner.
2'
Unsurprisingly, Albion are keen to get the ball into their forwards early in the opening minutes. Stoke will be likely to adopt a more patient approach.
1'
Referee Michael Oliver blows his whistle and the action is under way!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE commentary on the Midlands derby between West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City. Something has to give at The Hawthorns today as the Premier League's manager of the month for February, Tony Pulis, comes up against an in-form Stoke team boasting a superb record in this fixture.
Stoke have won on all five of their Premier League visits to The Hawthorns. However, four of those victories came under their old boss Pulis, and Mark Hughes' side will know they are in for a stern test this afternoon. West Brom have pulled away from the relegation zone since Pulis took charge in January and will surely fancy their chances of ending their dismal recent run in home matches against the Potters.
TEAM NEWS: The most notable piece of team news sees captain Ryan Shawcross return from injury for Stoke. He replaces Philipp Wollscheid in the visitors' only change, while Stephen Ireland is fit enough for a place on the bench. Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye were injury doubts for the Baggies, but both start in a side also showing one alteration from their last Premier League outing, Stephane Sessegnon coming in for Claudio Yacob.
Stoke City subs: Butland, Ireland, Arnautovic, Diouf, Cameron, Sidwell, Teixeira.
Stoke have only faced Pulis once since the Welshman departed the Britannia Stadium at the end of the 2012-13 season. On that occasion, Pulis oversaw a 1-0 home win for Crystal Palace against his former employers. A repeat of that result would do quite nicely for West Brom today, but their opponents arrive on the back of three successive wins.
The players have taken the field and we are just about ready to get started. Can Stoke continue their winning run at West Brom, or will Pulis get one over on his old team? Let's find out.
While Stoke have been poor in this match so far, things are much worse for Sunderland, who find themselves FOUR GOALS DOWN at home to Aston Villa at half-time. A remarkable scoreline!
Back to events at The Hawthorns and it might not be long until Mark Hughes turns to his bench. The likes of Mame Biram Diouf, Marko Arnautovic and the fit-again Stephen Ireland could provide the energy Stoke have lacked up to now.
Pulis has plenty of experience when it comes to ensuring teams hold on to a lead. Will West Brom be tempted to protect their advantage, I wonder?
Stoke never got going, in truth, and can have few complaints with the scoreline following a match high on endeavour but generally low on quality.
Stoke will look to bounce back at home to Palace next weekend and will be hoping for good news on the injury front after Erik Pieters, Victor Moses and Jonathan Walters were forced off this afternoon. West Brom's next match is a daunting one at Manchester City and they will await news on the fitness of Ben Foster, another injury casualty today.
That's all from us. Thanks for reading our commentary on events at The Hawthorns and we hope to see you again next time.
