We are underway at the Britannia Stadium! The home side get the game going and are shooting from left to right for this first period.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's Premier League encounter between Stoke City and Crystal Palace. I'm Lee Gormley and I'll be guiding you through all of the action from the Britannia Stadium.
Some team news for you now before the line ups!
Home team news: Jon Walters is on the bench despite fracturing a cheekbone last week. Victor Moses is out with a hip injury, while Erik Pieters returns and Phillip Wollscheid drops to the bench.
Away team news: Wilfried Zaha and Jason Puncheon both return from knocks, with Jordon Mutch missing out. Mile Jedinak remains suspended, while Marouane Chamakh, Fraizer Campbell and Chung-Yong Lee are still out with knocks.
Having dispatched QPR last Saturday, relegation fears are easing hugely for Palace, but Alan Pardew will be keen for them not to get complacent. With a takeover of the club imminent, the Palace squad know an overhaul could be on the cards in the summer, so players are fighting for their places.
Mark Hughes’s Stoke side sit in eighth, probably the summit of their ambitions for the current campaign, and they look capable of staying there having secured their highest ever top-flight finish of ninth last season.
The reverse fixture ended in the first draw in 11 matches between these sides. While Palace have won only once in seven top-flight meetings at Stoke, drawing once and losing five.
The Potters' tally of 42 points after 29 games is a Premier League club record. They need nine more points from their remaining nine games to set a new record across the season.
Palace incredibly lead 2-1 at half-time! Zaha putting the visitors in front just before the break, after Murray's penalty had cancelled out an opening strike from Diouf. Nicely set up for the second period!
Fantastic victory for Palace, as they hold on to secure a 2-1 win over Stoke. Zaha with the winning strike just before half-time, after Murray's penalty had cancelled out an opener from Diouf.
Stoke looked the far superior side in the first period, but it is Palace who emerge with all three points. Great effort from Pardew's men. Thanks for joining the action here at the Britannia, until next time, goodbye!
