It's all over! The referee blows his whistle for full-time and Juventus hold on to claim all three points!
90' +2
SHOULD BE TWO! Great build-up play from Juventus and Pereyra is picked out in acres of space on the right. He cuts in and spots Sturaro completely unmarked in the centre, but over-hits his cross!
90'
There will be three minutes of stoppage time, as is indicated by the fourth official. The Perin injury, Tevez penalty and six substitutions could have perhaps amounted to more, but that's not the case.
88'
S. Sturaro enters the game and replaces A. Vidal.
Genoa are playing with a back two as Roncaglia pushes up in midfield to try and grab this equalizer. Urgency is still lacking from the visitors and more time will run off the clock here as Juventus make their final change. Arturo Vidal is off, replaced by Stefano Sturaro.
86'
How about that from Buffon? Bertolacci wins his side a corner after seeing a shot deflected behind. Ednilson delivers an out-swinger and sends it into a dangerous area, but Buffon charges well off his line and acrobatically collects. He showed no signs of age there!
84'
Genoa are trying to mount one last push for an equalizer. They enjoy a good spell in possession, but can find no way through this wall of Juventus defenders. Just about everyone is back for the hosts to help see this one out.
82'
STAT ATTACK: Alessandro Matri provided the decisive assist for Luca Antonini's injury time winner against Juventus during Genoa's 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture this season. The striker now finds himself in the Bianconeri team for the return match, with the Old Lady looking to extract revenge.
80'
MUCH BETTER! Roncaglia, an unlikely attacking threat for Genoa, charges forward onto a loose ball and finds space on the right. He whips in a sensational cross, the best of the night for the visitors, but Barzagli does incredibly well to dive in and just knock it away from Bertolacci. Magnificent defending from the Italian.
78'
The hosts are passing the ball around comfortably at the back as they try and kill off the clock. The fans are content with the simplistic nature to which their team are seeing this out, but it is quite shocking to see the lack of urgency to which Genoa are playing with at the moment.
76'
Juventus have taken the game over as they dominate possession and dictate the tempo. Genoa looked more than capable of scoring in the first half, but it has been night and day from them as they are failing to test this Bianconeri defence at all in this second half.
Minute
Description
74'
Pepe's first contribution as a delivery from a set piece, and his ball is well placed. He whips in a flat ball with pace and it is met by Matri, but headed straight into the arms of Lamanna.
72'
S. Pepe enters the game and replaces S. Lichtsteiner.
A. Matri enters the game and replaces Fernando Llorente.
Juventus are set to make a couple changes of their own now as they look to see this lead out through the final 20 minutes. Simone Pepe and Alessandro Matri are introduced, replacing Stephan Lichtsteiner and Fernando Llorente.
70'
Wasted opportunity! Vidal is dispossessed in midfield by Kucka, and the Genoa player has options to his left and right as they break on a quick counter. He's far too indecisive, however, as Marchisio tracks back to break up the chance. Great hustle from the Juventus midfielder.
68'
STAT ATTACK: Only Juventus and Roma have lost fewer than the three defeats suffered by Genoa on their travels this season in the league.
65'
D. Laxalt enters the game and replaces M. Lestienne.
Gasperini makes his final change for the Rossoblu. Uruguayan midfielder Diego Laxalt is on to replace winger Maxime Lestienne. The 22-year-old will likely play in a more attacking role, and it looks like that position will be right in behind Borriello and Perotti.
64'
HOW DID THAT STAY OUT?! Wonderful stuff from Juventus as they look to pull out of reach. Llorente takes a pass into the area and does well to fend off Roncaglia's challenge before shifting it onto his right. His shot appears to be headed in, but Lamanna and Kucka combine to keep it out!
62'
Penalty saved by E. Lamanna!
TEVEZ DENIED! Absolutely incredible! You wouldn't have bet against the Argentine in the form he's in, but Lamanna guesses the right way and gets a strong hand to it to make the save! It's the second penalty save of the season for the back-up!
61'
F. Roncaglia gets yellow.
PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! Brilliant stuff from Pereyra who takes a pass in the area and makes a good, hard cut into the centre. Roncaglia sticks a leg out and the referee doesn't hesitate in pointing to the spot.
59'
It's been a real sluggish start to the second half from both teams. There are 15 minutes gone now, nearly, and the ball has hardly left the midfield area. Possession is being given away cheaply and neither side seems to have their legs under them.
57'
Clever footwork from Lestienne! The Belgian manages to dribble his way past Padoin on the right before sending a teasing cross in for Borriello at the far post. The ball is just too high for the striker, however, as it curls past the far post and behind for a goal kick.
55'
STAT ATTACK: Juventus have lost just one of their last 34 Serie A matches dating back to last season (W26, D7). The lone defeat came back in October against Genoa, with Luca Antonini's 94th minute tally proving to be the decider.
53'
The substitution is made and Lamanna trots into his net, gets himelf in position and play is now set to resume.
52'
E. Lamanna enters the game and replaces M. Perin.
51'
Mattia Perin is called into action for the first time in this second half as he reaches up to punch a cross away. He winces in pain at full stretch and immediately signals to the sidelines for a substitution as the ball is put out of play. His day is done.
49'
L. Bonucci gets yellow.
M. Borriello gets yellow.
Bonucci and Borrielo both pick up yellow cards, well away from the ball as they jostle for position near the top of the area. The Juventus centre-back has to be careful as he gets up and puts a hand on the referee, before screaming in disbelief at the decision.
48'
It's been a rather quiet start to the second half. Neither side is showing much desire to get forward as they continue to get their legs back under them and settle back into the match.
46'
M. Borriello enters the game and replaces M. Niang.
Juventus get the second half underway. Mattia Perin is back out there, so the injury was likely nothing serious. Meanwhile, Mbaye Niang has been withdrawn and Marco Borriello is on in his place. The introduction of a true striker should really help Genoa going forward.
45' +1
OFF THE BAR! The ball is crossed into the area by Juventus, and amidst the mess of bodies, someone redirects it toward goal, forcing Perin into a superb save! The pressure stays on and the follow up from Chiellini is hooked off the bar before finally being cleared! What a frantic end to the first half.
45'
Why not! Bertolacci unleashes a drive from 40 yards out, but it doesn't dip enough as the shot sails a couple feet over the bar. The midfielder certainly doesn't mind testing his luck and has proved more than capable of hitting them.
43'
Juventus have to start finding it within them to attack and not sit back on this lead. They are playing with fire a bire here. Massimiliano Allegri needs this game to get to half with his side still in front, and then it's up to him to make the necessary changes to relieve this pressure on Buffon and the defence.
41'
More great build-up play from Genoa. Bergdich switches the play smartly for Ednilson, who lays it off for Bertolacci. The midfielder sends a penetrating ball into the area, but Niang didn't make the striker's run and Buffon collects easily. The lack of a true centre-forward continues to haunt the Rossoblu.
39'
STAT ATTACK: Genoa have scored at least once in 12 consecutive away matches in the Serie A. The last time they were held scoreless on their travels was in their first road match of the season in September, a 0-0 draw against Fiorentina.
37'
There is very little to discuss as far as chances go. The Tevez strike is and remains the only shot on target in this first half as the two defences look rather comfortable in dealing with any threat posed by the opposition.
35'
The visitors are really moving the ball well in attack. The players have a good understanding of one another, but the issue lays in the fact that they don't have a true striker - a target man in the box to draw attention from the defenders and provide an option in the centre.
33'
A long clearance is chased down by Llorente and Burdisso realizes he misjudged the ball and goes to ground looking for a foul. The Spaniard is clean through on goal, but plays is blown dead as the Genoa-man gets his wish. He's very lucky, too, because that did not look like a foul at all.
31'
The pace has fizzled out a bit as the ball is being contained largely in midfield. Genoa are still enjoying a good amount of possession, but Juventus are pressing wonderfully, making it very difficult on the visitors to break into the final third. There is hardly any space for them to operate.
29'
These home supporters are still celebrating that Tevez goal and why wouldn't they be! Genoa seem a bit discouraged having conceded after a good spell of their own in possession, but it's more a comment on the skill of the Argentine than a lapse in concentration from their defence.
27'
STAT ATTACK: Juventus have kept three consecutive clean sheets across all competitions, last conceding a goal on the fifth of March in a 2-1 Coppa Italia defeat against Fiorentina. They have not allowed a goal in 304 minutes of action entering today's match.
25'
C. Tevez has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by R. Pereyra.
CARLOS TEVEZ SCORES AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER! INCREDIBLE! It's a brilliant piece of individual skill as he takes a pass from 25 yards out, bursts forward into the right channel, skipping past De Maio, and from a difficult angle, cannons a shot off the underside of the bar and into the back of the net - no chance whatsoever for Perin!
23'
A. Bertolacci gets yellow.
Juventus look to break out of their own end and attack quickly on the counter. Tevez shows good skill on the ball to dart through the middle of the pitch, but Bertolacci slides in late to sniff out the danger and winds up picking up a yellow card - meaning he will be suspended for the next league match Genoa play following the international break.
22'
LOVELY STUFF FROM GENOA! The Rossoblu enjoy a wonderful spell in possession as they pass it around in the attacking third and apply some good pressure on the Juventus goal. Perotti makes a clever run in the area, using the run of Niang to create space, then whips a ball across the face of goal, but Chiellini is there to turn it behind.
20'
That could have been costly! Bertolacci has a go from outside the area following some tidy build-up play from the visitors. It takes a deflection and Buffon fails to collect as the ball slips through his gloves with Lestienne waiting to pounce, but Vidal intervenes to clear it safely out of play.
18'
VITAL INTERVENTION! Vidal plays a wonderful ball over the top for Llorente, who is clean through behind the defence. He volley's a pass across for Tevez, which is a smart idea, but Roncaglia reads it wonderfully and slides in to break it up!
16'
After the first 10 minutes were largely dominated by the hosts, Genoa have settled into the match and possession is being shared. There is a lovely pace about it, with both sides eager to get forward and attack.
14'
D. Perotti gets yellow.
PENALTY APPEALS DENIED! Bergdich makes an excellent run along the left, beating Lichtsteiner with ease before sending a lovely cutback pass into the path of Perotti. Marchisho lunges in and the Genoa forward goes to ground in a heap, but the referee is having none of it and books him for simulation. There was some contact made, so it is certainly a harsh decision from Marco Di Bello.
12'
STAT ATTACK: Genoa's 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture this season ended a 10-match winless run against Juventus (D4, L6). They kept just one clean sheet over that span while being held scoreless on four occasions.
10'
BRILLIANT STUFF! Llorente has been a real menace in the early stages of this match. He takes a pass from 40 yards out and turns exquisitely past De Maio. He lacks the pace to get through on goal, but again holds the ball up long enough to create space for a shot. Roncaglia rushes across, however, and gets an important block in.
8'
Genoa are struggling to clear their lines and Fernando Llorente isn't making life any easier on them as he shows his ability to hold the ball up. A good period of pressure is applied by the hosts, but finally comes to an end as the Spaniard is called for an offside.
6'
The free kick is lofted into the centre, with plenty of bodies waiting, but Genoa are first to it as Facundo Roncaglia manages to clear the danger.
5'
WHAT IS HAPPENING?! These defenders are showing no urgency whatsoever and it's costing them! Nicolas Burdisso casually dribbles out of his area and winds up succumbing to the pressure of Carlos Tevez, giving the ball away and conceding a free kick just to the left of the area.
3'
NEARLY THE OPENER! Leonardo Bonnuci makes a horrible mistake, far too casual in his own end, gifting Mbaye Niang possession. The striker takes a couple quick steps forward and curls a shot toward the far post, but it drifts agonizingly wide.
1'
The visitors kick-off and we are underway! Genoa moving right to left, in red and blue. Juventus in black and white. Will they experience a Champions League hangover? We'll find out!
Hello football fans and welcome to Turin! The Juventus Stadium is our venue today as the Bianconeri continue their probable title quest against a Genoa side falling quickly from the European qualification spots. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
Juventus are 14 points clear of Roma atop the table and closing in on a fourth consecutive Serie A title. Add in the fact that they dismantled Dortmund, en route to a place in the Champions League quarter-finals, and life is good at the moment for the Old Lady. Barring a monumental slip, the remaining 11 league matches have become something of a formality for Massimiliano Allegri's side, who can shift the majority of their focus on continuing their European journey.
Just when it was looking like Genoa had recaptured their early season form, they go and lose at home to Chievo. The Rossoblu sit eight points back of Fiorentina for the final European qualification spot, and though they have a game in hand, their chances of catching them are not looking very good for the time being. They have to be close to perfect for the rest of the season and it starts today, where they will be hoping to catch Juventus a bit unmotivated following their emotional victory on Wednesday.
The Bianconeri continue on without the injured Andrea Pirlo (calf), who is now joined by Paul Pogba on the sidelines after the Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury in Wednesday's Champions League victory in Dortmund and faces a two-month spell on the sidelines. Alvaro Morata is another absence for the hosts due to suspension, while Patrice Evra moves to the bench for a rest. Andrea Barzagli, Simone Padoin and Fernando Llorente are the new faces in the starting XI, replacing the absent trio.
Gian Piero Gasperini has been forced into two changes following his side's defeat against Chievo last weekend, with TomaS Rincon and Iago Falque unavailable due to suspension. The duo are replaced by Juraj Kucka in midfield and on-loan Belgian Maxime Lestienne.
HALF TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 GENOA. Carlos Tevez's sensational strike has the Bianconeri up at the break, but the visitors have been more than up for the occasion. They have enjoyed the better of play for much of the opening 45 minutes and appear capable of turning this deficit around.
Mattia Perin stayed down as the players went into the room for the half and it looks like he may have hurt himself making that last save. We'll keep an eye on it and see if he comes out for the second half.
FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 GENOA. Carlos Tevez's wonder strike secures all three points for the Bianconeri as they inch closer to securing a fourth consecutive league title. The hosts avenge their only Serie A loss of the season, to Genoa, and they do it with relative ease, coasting through the second half en route to the victory.
I am Alex Moretto and I would like to thank you all for joining me here today. Good bye!
