Brooks with a CHANCE! He headed it wide! That was the last look, and it's over now. The USA has lost 3-2.
90' +1
N. Bendtner has scored a goal for Denmark! Assist by C. Eriksen.
And MAYBE NOT! WOW! What a finish for Bendtner for his third. Eriksen picks him out and Brooks can't recover. A really nice take-down and a great strike to put Denmark up 3-2.
90'
He hits the wall, and it looks like the USA may just be able to sneak out of this with a draw.
89'
V. Alvarado gets yellow.
Alvarado picks up a booking. Eriksen running at him and trying to go around the world. Now he'll get a look from a free kick.
88'
Now it's Eriksen who just can't get it right, his touch going long and into Rimando's hands after splitting two defenders.
87'
Bendtner can't get on the end of another, looking for his hat trick. He's had the chances to get it tonight.
85'
A. Christiansen gets yellow.
84'
Denmark back level! I's 2-2, and no less that the home side deserves. Bendtner with his second of the night, and more nightmare defending from the USA.
83'
N. Bendtner has scored a goal for Denmark!
80'
V. Alvarado enters the game and replaces M. Orozco.

Description
79'
This is really a choppy match. Denmark gets a free kick from an Altidore foul, which also ended up being a booking, and will back that with a corner, but the USA gets the danger clear. There really hasn't been much worth commenting on in this second half aside from the early chances for Denmark and the one goal.
78'
L. Schöne enters the game and replaces M. Krohn-Dehli.
J. Altidore gets yellow.
74'
M. Braithwaite enters the game and replaces L. Vibe.
Denmark looking for a way back into this. The USA has tightened up a little bit, and is making it very hard for the Danes to get in.
67'
R. Rubín enters the game and replaces A. Jóhannsson.
D. Yedlin enters the game and replaces G. Zardes.
It is, in all honesty, baffling that the USA is leading this match. Being that it's a friendly you wonder how much you can take from that, but it's about the only positive so far.
66'
A. Jóhannsson has scored a goal for United States! Assist by J. Altidore.
So out of nothing the USA has the lead. Bradley with a brilliant ball in and Altidore taps it across to Johannsson to finish. 2-1 USA.
61'
Shea does at least try to make up for it, whipping in a nice cross, but then commits a foul as if to make sure he wasn't doing anything overly positive.
60'
More mistakes at the back. Shea tries to control in his box, racing back to his own goal, and it forces Rimando to make another save and nearly take a shot to the face for it.
57'
Eriksen is so silky. A brilliant chipped pass and Vibe ghosted past Garza and tried to rip a volley, which ended up just wide of the mark.
54'
Not really getting any better for the U.S. Denmark is in total control for the most part but still level at 1-1.
52'
S. Poulsen enters the game and replaces N. Boilesen.
48'
I'm not sure how many mistakes you can make in one sequence, but I think I counted six in a row there for the USA. Eriksen gets the break of the ball falling to him and puts a nice hit on goal. Rimando makes the save but not fully, and Orozco has to clear off the line. So far this half has been even more sloppy than the first for the USA.
47'
Orozco gets caught watching and Bendtner nearly nets again, blazing his shot wide.
46'
B. Shea enters the game and replaces F. Johnson.
A. Morales enters the game and replaces A. Bedoya.
A. Christiansen enters the game and replaces C. Eriksen.
T. Delaney enters the game and replaces W. Kvist.
Couple of changes for the USA for the second half with Shea and Morales on. Let's see if they can do anything to help flip this game for the USA as the second half begins.
45'
After a promising open 15 minutes for the USA, it's really been all Denmark. Bendtner nearly netted again just now but the angle was too extreme, and the Wass has a crack over the goal. That'll do it for the first half, but the USA must regroup for the second half. Be back with you shortly.
40'
A promising moment for the USA is wasted as Bradley knocks a ball out of play looking for Johnson down the left.
39'
Denmark is calmly stroking the ball around and the USA is starting to drop of a bit deeper. It's turning into a one-sided game right now.
36'
G. Garza gets yellow.
33'
N. Bendtner has scored a goal for Denmark! Assist by L. Vibe.
Denmark is level. Bendtner with the finish. That was too easy. Completely unarked in front of goal. 1-1.
Well, there's the response from the home side and the USA really did not deal with that well at all. How you allow the lead striker to be that alone in front of your goal is a big question for me, with Chandler and Zardes both caught ball watching. Now Garza picks up a card, and the three-man midfield of Denmark is really taking contol of this match.
29'
You would have to call this a little bit sloppy so far. Both teams have had moments of good play, but they've also both made some serious mistakes.
25'
It feels like the size and pace of this USA team is something that has the Danes a little worried. Zardes is closing down quickly, as are Johnson and Johannsson, forcing some rushed decisions out of Denmark.
24'
W. Kvist gets yellow.
23'
So after having about 6 or 7 minutes of getting dominated, a ball from Timmy Chandler is not dealt with well and Altidore stroked it home to give the visiting side the lead. That will likely lead to more pressure from the home team, which has actually settled into the game nicely despite giving up the goal.
19'
J. Altidore has scored a goal for United States! Assist by T. Chandler.
GOAL!!!! USA takes the lead. Altidore with a great strike on his left foot after a hopeful cross from Chandler made it to him. Against the run of play the USA is ahead!
18'
Now it's the USA on the back foot, with Eriksen picking out a nice ball and Timmy Chandler not doing well when he got the chance to clear. Rimando's goal in under threat these last few minutes, and that young back line is starting to show some cracks.
16'
Corner coming again for Denmark. Bendtner again just off the end of a ball from Khron-Dehli.
13'
Vass whips in a cross from the right but Bendtner can't get on the end before Chandler gets it clear. More balance in the match now than early on, the Danes coming into it a bit more. Both sides are doing well in closing down the ball.
9'
Vibe just skinned Brooks on the right edge of the box, but Orozco was there to clean it up and now much deal with a corner. Twice now Denmark has caught the U.S. out after a sloppy turnover.
6'
Vibe does well to get down the right for Denmark and the USA's defense gets its first test of the night. Brooks gets it clear and now we're heading back the other way before Bradley decided to pull it back and slow play.
5'
Johnson has been tucked in off that left flank early on, working almost behind Johannsson and Altidore.
2'
The pitch is fast, you can tell that even in the first couple of minutes. The USA has started well, holding and moving the ball around.
1'
Here we go. Denmark in the red kit, moving right to left. USA in the new light blue on dark blue moving left to right.
We're still at least 45 minutes out from the USA kicking off a friendly against Denmark, but let's go ahead and get things rolling a little bit. What we have today is a chance for both sides to get a good test against a fairly evenly matched opponent. The USA will be without captain Clint Dempsey, who pulled out with a hamstring injury earlier in camp, but otherwise both teams traveled with relatively strong squads.
The big ask for the USA today will be holding down the creative talent that is Christian Eriksen, the Tottenham star, who pulls most of the strings out of that midfield, but he's far from alone. With the likes of Nicklas Bendtner hanging around up the pitch, the U.S. defense will certainly be facing a very strong test, and it should be a good piece of preparation for what will be a busy summer.
Jozy Altidore and Aron Johannsson start up top for the USA today, with Gyasi Zardez and Fabian Johnson taking up spots on the wing. Michael Bradley and Alejandro Bedoya will be partnering in the middle, helping protect a back four of Greg Garza, John Brooks, Michael Orozco and Timmy Chandler. Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando gets the start in goal.
For Denmark: Bendtner up top with Vibe on one side and Krohn on the left. Eriksen and Poulsen sitting in front Kvist in a three-man middle. Boilesen on the left of defence with Sviatchenko and Kjaer partnered in the middle and Wass on the right. Andersen gets the start in goal.
We're just a couple of minutes out from kick now, so stay with us and we'll keep you up to date on all the happenings.
So that's it. The USA falls to Denmark. It will look like a late comeback win for the Danes, and in fact that's what it was, but in reality it was a dominant showing for the home side. The USA went ahead twice against the run of play and was finally punished late on for a ton of poor defending.
