88'
Felipe enters the game and replaces Hernanes.
Tachtsidis is denied by a block, before Greco unleashes an awful effort with the rebounding ball! The substitute has definitely made an impact due to his lack of fear regarding trying his luck, but Handanovic would probably be happy to face him for another few hours without conceding. Verona just have no staying power in and around the Inter penalty box.
86'
We're into the final five minutes in Verona, with Inter content to sit back and absorb any late pressure. Handanovic is gifted the chance to take a goal kick, after a horrendous long-range shot that rockets into touch. Mandorlini watches on with a rather unimpressed look on his face.
84'

The hosts claim handball! Ranocchia blocks a shot with his torso, but the referee isn't interested again! 81'
M. Valoti enters the game and replaces M. Obbadi.
Kovacic replaces Palacio for the away side, while Obbadi is withdrawn for Valoti by Mandorlini. The hosts have to chase this game with intensity now. Toni goes down just inside the penalty area, claiming that Ranocchia was pulling him to the turf, but the referee isn't interested.
80'
A. Gnoukouri enters the game and replaces G. Medel.
M. Kovačić enters the game and replaces R. Palacio.
79'

77'
Penalty saved by S. Handanovič!
ANOTHER PENALTY SAVE FROM HANDANOVIC! The Slovenia international works his magic yet again, diving low to his right-hand side to parry away a low strike from Toni! He is just not the man you want to face when you're stepping up to a spot kick!
Minute
Description
76'
N. Vidić gets yellow.
PENALTY FOR VERONA! Saviola manages to find the run of Greco on the edge of the visitors' penalty area, before the latter is shoulder charged slightly by Vidic! There wasn't a great deal in it!
75'
J. Saviola enters the game and replaces J. Gómez Taleb.
Just wide from Toni! The free-kick delivery from Greco is excellent, with the former Bayern Munich striker meeting it at the near post and sending a bouncing header just inches beyond the far upright! He can't believe that hasn't nestled in the bottom corner!
74'
Palacio attempts to break down the right-hand side, but Rodriguez does just enough to rob his compatriot of possession, before twisting and turning to manufacture some space for a clearance. Greco then manages to win a free kick due to a clumsy push from Brozovic.
72'
L. Greco enters the game and replaces E. Hallfreðsson.
PALACIO STRIKES THE POST! The Argentine forward races into the penalty area, before diverting a D'Ambrosio cross onto the foot of the left upright! Inter keep the ball alive, with Icardi setting a pass back to Guarin, but the Colombian midfielder lashes a 20-yard effort high and wide of the target.
70'
Hernanes allows D'Ambrosio to overlap down the right-hand side, but the Italian wing-back's eventual cross loops directly behind for a goal kick. Verona then keep the ball with a patient passage of play, before Toni is robbed of possession by Vidic, after turning smartly following a ball in from Pisano.
68'
Close for Gomez! The Argentine is fed in behind the Inter back four and does well to almost pluck the ball from the air with a delicate first touch! Handanovic is very quick off his line to not afford the Verona forward opportunity to do anything with a second, however.
66'
Verona want a penalty! The hosts feel that Vidic handled the ball in the box, with a few players heading over to the official behind the goalline to plead their case. Instead, the hosts are merely awarded a corner, which results in a good block from Vidic, before Obbadi nearly sends the rebound into orbit.
65'
With less than half an hour left to play, Inter aren't looking likely to relinquish their grasp on the three points. Verona are seeing much more of the ball, but simply aren't doing a great deal with it, with Jankovic and Sala's crosses being rather easily dealt with. Juan does well to deny the combination play down the right flank on this occasion.
63'
Just wide from Ranocchia! The Italian defender is picked out completely unmarked, merely six yards from goal, after a corner was worked short by Inter! With the goal at his mercy, he can merely guide a glancing header just wide of the left-hand upright! He will have to hope that miss doesn't prove costly!
62'
Two important saves from Handanovic! The corner is whipped in and half cleared, before Obaddi sends a heat-seeking missile towards goal from the rebound! The Slovenian goalkeeper manages to beat the ball away, before returning to his feet to acrobatically push away a bouncing half volley from Moras!
61'
Hernanes bursts into a pocket of space at the edge of the penalty area, before sending a low drive just beyond the left-hand post! Rafael is furious that his defender allowed for the Brazil international to get a shot away. Jankovic then breaks down the right for the hosts, but Juan deflects his eventual cross behind for a corner.
60'
Palacio sets D'Ambrosio away down the right-hand side, but Pisano blocks an attempted delivery from the former Torino defender. Mancini's system is proving to be very predictable in the fact his team get the ball wide and then deliver to, but Verona are struggling to cope regardless.
58'
Important defensive header from Moras! The Greek defender manages to turn the ball behind for a corner, with Icardi lurking behind him, after yet another cross in from D'Ambrosio. The resulting corner is nodded out of harm's way by Toni, before the hosts' break led by Jankovic is cleared by Juan.
56'
M. Obbadi gets yellow.
Palacio sees a shot blocked! The home side fail to clear their lines from a D'Ambrosio cross, but the Argentine's attempt is quickly charged down! Moments later, Guarin arrows a ferocious effort just over the crossbar from around 30 yards out! That really was travelling.
54'
Big chance for Verona! Gomez curls a cross in from the left-hand side, with Jankovic able to muster up a header back across goal! The man who delivered the ball scampers in to meet the rebound, but Handanovic nips in ahead of the Argentine to frustrate the hosts.
53'
Pisano tries to deliver a cross from the left-hand side, but D'Ambrosio dispossesses his man well. This game has been one of relentless crossing, with Toni failing to be presented with any fantastic service.
51'
Should have been three for Inter! Palacio cuts back a cross from the right byline, with Icardi put off by the presence of Sala! The Argentine striker fails to make telling contact with the delivery and the opportunity promptly disappears! That would have put proceedings beyond doubt, you would feel.
50'
The Nerazzurri now have a very comfortable cushion sitting between themselves and defeat, with Icardi and Palacio justifying their selection. Verona threaten from kick off, with Sala whipping in a cross from the right. Gomez makes poor contact with an attempted over-head kick, before Jankovic sees a follow-up half volley blocked.
48'
R. Palacio has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by M. Icardi.
GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! PALACIO MAKES IT 2-0! Gomez cuts inside from the left-hand side, before trying to work a ball through for Toni to chase, but Inter intercept and break upfield. Icardi returns the favour for his compatriot, racing down the left-hand side, before whipping in a delivery that the Argentine forward can't help but tuck home!
46'
We are back underway in tonight's late Serie A kick off! As it stands, Inter will be taking an important three points to try and help them kickstart their form and storm up the league table, but Verona certainly aren't out of this contest yet.
45'
There is only one minute of stoppage time at the end of the first half.
43'
Verona continue to try and eliminate Inter's advantage heading into the break, but Mancini's back four are holding firm, with Ranocchia playing well against an opponent who hasn't got much of a change of pace. The home fans are growing a little restless.
41'
We're into the final five minutes of the first half at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, with Mandorlini's men desperate to restore parity. Toni has had some reasonable service, but the former Italy international hasn't been receiving the ball when he is close enough to goal to cause any problems. Moras makes a great sliding tackle just inside his own penalty area to deny Hernanes.
40'
F. Guarín gets yellow.
39'
Moras hooks yet another D'Ambrosio cross away from danger, with Inter now pressing forward. This game has had a real ebb and flow to it thus far. Guarin receives a yellow for blocking a Toni pass with his raised arm.
38'
M. Brozović gets yellow.
37'
D'Ambrosio manages to squeeze a cross towards the penalty spot from the right-hand side, but Icardi is beaten to the ball and the hosts attempt to counter at pace. Gomez Taleb tries to break through the heart of the opposition midfield, but Brozovic cynically fells the Argentine forward and earns himself a booking.
36'
V. Moras gets yellow.
35'
Obbadi tries to spread play out to Jankovic on the right flank, but the Serbian wide man misses his first touch and the ball rolls rather embarrassingly out of play. Inter then break from the resulting throw in, with Brozovic dragging a shot across goal and wide of the left post after brilliant work from Palacio to bring the Nerazzurri upfield.
33'
Inter patiently work the ball from side to side, waiting to find a chink in the opposition's armour. Though Icardi's goal was a bit of a flash in the pan, the Nerazzurri have taken the only clear opportunity they've had. Otherwise, this has been a hard-fought and even Serie A battle.
31'
Verona win a corner out on the right flank, with the delivery from Sala far looping into far too deep of an area. The ball is worked to the edge of the penalty area, before Obbadi lashes it well wide of the right-hand post. Handanovic is yet to be tested in this match.
29'
Another cross is launched into the box from the right, this time by D'Ambrosio, but it is far too high for Icardi to even consider challenging for. Inter continue to transition at pace, with Brozovic opting to shoot from range at the end of their latest move. It zips six yards beyond Rafael's post, with the Brazilian having his angles covered.
27'
Brozovic attempts to float a through ball into the path of Icardi with the outside of his foot, but Moras rises well to head the ball clear. A clearance from Rodriguez is charged down moments later, with the deflected ball falling to Icardi on the edge of the box. The Argentine shifts the ball onto his left foot, before seeing an eventual shot blocked.
25'
Palacio tries to swing an early cross in from the right-hand side, but Rafael is alert to the danger and comes off his line quickly to deny another potential chance for Icardi. But for his goal, the Inter striker has been incredibly anonymous during the opening half an hour.
23'
Verona are gifted yet another opportunity to deliver a free kick into the opposition box, with Toni again the target, but a combination of Vidic and D'Ambrosio clear the danger. Inter are beginning to threaten solely on the break, with the home side otherwise seeing the majority of the ball.
21'
Good defending from Ranocchia! Another cross is whipped in by Jankovic from the right flank, with the Nerazzurri centre-back getting across his experienced adversary well to poke the ball well away from danger. Moments later, the same man is on hand to rob Toni of possession as he attempts to waltz his way through the Inter back four.
20'
D'Ambrosio intercepts a Pisano pass on the right-hand side for Inter, with Palacio breaking away as a result. The Argentine takes a huge touch into space and races beyond two defenders, but Rafael is quick off his line to deny the diminutive striker.
19'
Verona win themselves a free kick on the right-hand side, which Sala stands over. Toni is the intended target and meets it powerfully, but the former Bayern Munich man sends the ball looping five yards over Handanovic's crossbar. That's the best chance the hosts have had thus far, however!
18'
Juan Jesus gets yellow.
17'
Sala spreads the play out to the left-hand side, with Verona gradually growing into this game in terms of holding onto the ball. Vidic is forced to head away a dangerous cross in from the hosts' right-back, earning Mandorlini's men a corner, which comes to absolutely nothing. Hernanes breaks fantastically at pace as a result, before failing to receive a return pass from Palacio after positioning himself in the box.
15'
Hallfredsson dips a ball into the box, in an attempt to pick out Toni, but the veteran striker is beaten to it by Ranocchia, allowing for Handanovic to mop up the aftermath. Moments later, Tachtsidis is released down the left flank, before setting a pass back to his Icelandic teammate, but this time his eventual cross is far too close to the visiting goalkeeper.
13'
Inter have been the much brighter side from the outset, with their early lead well deserved. The home crowd aren't happy with a few of the referee's decisions and have also taken to whistling the Nerazzurri's possession. Mandorlini's men just aren't getting in amongst the visitors, it is comfortable for the away side as it stands.
11'
M. Icardi has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by R. Palacio.
GOOOOOOOOOAL! ICARDI OPENS THE SCORING FOR INTER! The Verona defence are left like statues, with Palacio able to pick out a cross that his compatriot strokes home with consummate ease! The goalkeeper has no chance, with nobody in a blue and yellow shirt picking up the run of the former Sampdoria forward. Pedestrian defending.
9'
Inter are keeping the ball fairly well in the opening stages, but are unafraid to work the ball all the way back to Handanovic. Hernanes has been heavily involved thus far. Guarin attempts to slide an incisive pass through the Verona ranks for Palacio to chase, but Rodriguez intercepts and clears upfield at the second time of asking.
7'
Over the bar from Hernanes! D'Ambrosio shows a good turn of pace to break down the right flank, before whipping in an inviting cross that his Brazilian teammate can't quite get on target due to a deflection. The Nerazzurri's third corner of the game, however, comes to nothing. Potentially wasteful stuff from the away side.
6'
Mancini's men earn themselves another corner, but this time Hallfredsson is on hand to help the hosts oust the danger. Inter are moving the ball with real intent in the opening minutes tonight, but Verona are managing to win a few important free kicks to defuse certain situations - much to the annoyance of Mancini.
4'
Toni beats Vidic to win a defensive header at the near post to deny Inter, before Verona break away at pace. The ball is moved from left to right, but an early cross into the box from out wide is cleared by Ranocchia. A bright start to proceedings!
3'
Guarin tries to break beyond Sala down the left-hand side, but the two tangle legs. The Colombia international wants a free kick given on the edge of the penalty area, but the referee waves away any Nerazzurri claims. Hernanes then wins the visitors a corner, after seeing a powerful shot blocked.
1'
We are underway in the first half! Verona are donning their home strip of blue and yellow, while Inter are in an all-white kit.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Inter's visit to face Hellas Verona, in this evening's sole late Serie A kick off. Roberto Mancini's men are without a win in their last seven matches in all competitions, and need a victory to stir themselves from slumping to a dull end to the season. The hosts, meanwhile, have recorded three wins and two draws from their last six outings at Stadio Marc'Antoni Bentegodi, which should make them favourites for this one.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with proceedings, as Inter attempt to at least cement their place in the top half of the Italian top flight. while three points for Hellas would definitely eliminate any lurking relegation worries. A win for Mancini would also help the Nerazzurri track down their fierce rivals Milan, with finishing above Filippo Inzaghi's team a possible consolation prize this season for the visitors.
TEAM NEWS: Artur Ionita is missing due to injury for the hosts, but otherwise Verona have a fully-fit squad at their disposal. Luca Toni will be keen to keep his goalscoring exploits going at the forefront of the attack, with Bosko Jankovic and Juan Gomez Taleb in close support. Vangelis Moras and Guillermo Rodriguez are tasked with keeping Mauro Icardi quiet, with 33-year-old Rafael continuing in goal.
TEAM NEWS: Mauro Icardi returns from a ban for the visitors and will start up top alongside Rodrigo Palacio. Hernanes, Marcelo Brozovic and Fredy Guarin will be asked to provide inspiration from deep areas, with Gary Medel asked to do the more mundane tasks in midfield. Juan Jesus continues at left-back for Mancini's side, with Nemanja Vidic and Andrea Ranocchia the chosen central defensive partnership. Davide Santon, Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Jonathan and Dodo are unavailable for the Nerazzurri, with Xherdan Shaqiri merely taking a seat on the bench.
HALF TIME! Inter head into their away dressing room with a slender 1-0 advantage over Verona, courtesy of a goal from the returning Icardi. Hernanes and Palacio have been bright for the visitors, with the home side struggling to have any extended staying power in the opposition half. Be sure to return for all of the second-half action in 10 minutes!
FULL TIME! Goals from Icardi, Palacio and an own goal from Moras in stoppage time wrap up the three points for Inter, who finally get a much-needed win under their belts. Handanovic saved a second-half penalty to deny Toni, in what was a very forgettable evening for Mandorlini's men. That's all we have time for from Serie A, I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
