That was a chance! Jamaica crowd the penalty area and the ball is hoisted in from deep. Paraguay fail to clear it properly at the back post and Mariappa hooks it back in. Mattocks rises to meet it with a header, but his effort goes well over. That's a let-off for Paraguay.
90' +1
There will be four minutes added on here.
89'
Jamaica are doing all the pressing now, though they still can't craft any clear-cut chances. Paraguay are holding on comfortably at the moment.
86'
O. Molinas enters the game and replaces E. Benítez.
A final change now for Paraguay, as Molinas takes the place of Benitez, whose goal is set to decide this at the moment.
83'
Haedo Valdez is straight back and involved. He picks up possession just outside the Jamaica area, darts to his left and manages to get a shot away, though it goes just wide of the left-hand post.
82'
Haedo Valdez receives a heavy knock from Morgan and he is left in a heap on the ground - he looks fine, though. He is swiftly up and jogging again.
80'
JUST WIDE! McCleary has been Jamaica's only real hope today and he goes agonisingly close to equalising. The attacker again finds himself in a central position and he lets fly, just missing the bottom-left corner by a yard.
77'
I. Piris enters the game and replaces M. Samudio.
Paraguay are now forced into a third substitution. Samudio has picked up an injury and Piris is on in his place.
76'
D. Mattocks enters the game and replaces S. Dawkins.
Final change for Jamaica, as Mattocks replaces Dawkins in attack. Can he offer an improvement? The former Spurs man did very little.

Description
75'
N. Valdez enters the game and replaces R. Bobadilla.
Another change for Paraguay now. Bobadilla makes way, with Haedo Valdez entering the fray.
73'
SURELY A PENALTY? Jamaica are very lucky there. Santa Cruz shifts across to the near post to meet a cross and he meets it with a header, which is blatantly halted by the hand of hector, but the referee somehow misses it.
71'
Almost an opening for Jamaica, as Lawrence's left-wing cross is deflected into the danger and ultimately ends up in the space between Silva and the defence. Luckily for Paraguay, though, the goalkeeper is alert and he pounces for Laing can.
69'
We are back underway again, though not without a member of the Jamaican technical staff being ejected by the referee.
68'
That doesn't last long, however, as Caceres is soon caught by the studs of Austin while attempting to clear his lines. The Paraguayan is in some pain and needs attention, with his team-mates clearly unimpressed by the tackle.
66'
After a brief pause in play as Dawkins sought medical attention, we are back underway in Antofagasta.
65'
The Jamaica pressure comes to an end, though, as Mariappa clips the ball into the area from the right flank and Silva punches clear, before being clattered in to by Dawkins, who comes off worse.
64'
Good play by McCleary, as the winger takes up a more central position, jinks past one tackle and then holds off Ortigoza, who eventually forces the Jamaican to run into traffic on the edge of the area.
62'
D. Brown enters the game and replaces G. Barnes.
Here comes change number two for Jamaica; Brown takes the place of Barnes, who has not been particularly effective.
60'
OFF THE BAR! So close to a second for Paraguay! Samudio darts forward from left-back and, after poking the ball forward to Santa Cruz, who continues his run and pounces on a lay-off from the striker. The defender's first-time effort is kept out only by the crossbar.
59'
B. Valdez gets yellow.
57'
L. Laing enters the game and replaces J. Watson.
And there is the first change of the match, as Watson - who has been anonymous - is replaced by Laing.
55'
A shot from Jamaica! And it's not a bad effort either, as Dawkins receives a pass into feet, turns and then lets fly from about 25 yards, seeing his powerful attempt fly just wide of the top-right corner.
54'
That is a disappointment from Gonzalez. The young winger is released down the right thanks to a good through pass from Benitez, but he gets under the ball and sends his attempted cross well over the goal.
52'
FINE SAVE! Caceres is enjoying a good match in the middle for Paraguay and he is at the fore again here, as he charges forward, skips inside one tackle races past another and then sees his 25-yard drive tipped just wide by Kerr.
50'
Jamaica win themslves a free-kick out on the right flank now and opt to crowd the box. Austin launches the ball into the danger zone, only to see it smashed back out by the fists of Silva. Lawrence pounces on the loose ball about 30 yards out, but Ortigoza is on him in a flash.
48'
OFFSIDE! Paraguay find the net, though the assistant's flag brings an early halt to their celebrations, as Cacerez latches on to Santa Cruz's cross-goal header and diverts home. He was just beyond the last defender, however.
46'
Off we go for the second half.
45' +1
HALF-TIME!
45'
There will be a minute added on here.
42'
Just wide! Ortigoza pounces on a loose ball in the middle and he races forward towards goal, with Jamaica sitting off him. He unleashes a fierce effort, though it goes just past the right-hand post.
40'
Jamaica are seeing a little more of the ball at the moment as they go in search of an equaliser to go in level at the break, but they are subsequently finding themselves a little open at the back. Can Paraguay capitalise?
38'
Benitez knew nothing about that, but Paraguay won't care. Diaz's men have the lead and probably deservedly so, giving Jamaica an even bigger task than the one which initially faced them. They've not looked like scoring at all at the Copa so far.
36'
E. Benítez has scored a goal for Paraguay!
GOAL!!! A FREAK GOAL GIVES PARAGUAY THE LEAD! Caceres smashes a long ball forward from the back and it looks set to be routine for Kerr, who rushes out and meets it with a headed clearance. However, his header smashes against the approaching Benitez and goes all the way in. Well, they all count!
35'
McCleary has been one of the few bright sparks in attack for Jamaica so far today and he is causing problems again, as he darts in from the left, skipping past a few tackles in the process. His attempted reverse pass is cut out, though.
33'
GREAT EFFORT! Gonzalez is able to delivery another unchallenged cross from the right flank and he picks out Santa Cruz on the edge of the area. The striker unleashes a fierce left-footed volley, but luckily for Kerr it is straight at him. A fine attempt nonetheless.
31'
All the attacking is coming from Paraguay now. They win themselves another corner out on the right, as Valdez gets forward from right-back and runs at Lawrence. The set-piece results in very little, though, as Jamaica clear their lines.
29'
JAMAICA ESCAPE! Bobadilla's movement is causing trouble for Schafer's men at the moment and this time he peels out towards the left, before hammering a low cross into the area. Kerr dives down to collect but he can only parry. Luckiy for him, however, Morgan is on hand to smash clear before Santa Cruz can pounce.
27'
Since starting the contest quite brightly, Jamaica have struggled to impose themselves in attack today, rather relying on their somewhat agricultural defence to keep Paraguay at bay. So far it is working.
25'
After a brief delay, Paraguay get the match restarted with the free-kick out on the right flank. Ortigoza's delivery causes Kerr a few problems, as the goalkeeper drops it at the back post, but luckily for him it hits Bobadilla and goes out for a goal kick.
23'
Jamaica are certainly putting themselves about out there. Gonzalez is the latest to experience that, as he releases the ball and is then caught by Lawrence's flailing arm as he tries to continue his run.
21'
JUST WIDE! Paraguay are strarting to cause problems and they go close again. This time Valdez is urged forward from right-back and he prods a pass through to Bobadilla, who spins and lashes a half-volley agonisingly wide of the left-hand post.
20'
KERR SAVES! Good football on the edge of the Jamaica area from Paraguay. The ball falls to Bobadilla and he manages to get it under control, before slipping it to his right for Santa Cruz. The striker turns and smashes a low drive towards goal, but it is straight at the goalkeeper.
18'
True to form in this match, the corner comes to nothing. Nevertheless, Paraguay remain in possession, with Diaz's men starting to dictate things out there, though without creating a great deal.
17'
Paraguay work the resulting free-kick short and the ball is shifted over towards the right. Gonzalez knocks it back infield to Caceres, who edges into space and sees a long-range effort deflected around the post.
16'
W. Morgan gets yellow.
That was not so clever from Morgan, however, as the Jamaica defender goes straight through the back of Bobadilla, who had already nudged on Caceres' pass. Out comes the yellow card.
14'
Important intervention from Morgan! Gonzalez makes ground up the right and, despite being under pressure, he manages to squeeze a cross into the area. It drops kindly for Santa Cruz, who tries to prod the ball through for Bobadilla, but the Leicester defender is there to halt the danger.
12'
Austin floats another delivery into the Paraguay penalty area, but once again the South Americans aren't made to sweat. Aerially they have been utterly dominant so far, though that's not too much of a surprise.
11'
Good feet from McCleary again, as the winger darts up the right and then flicks the ball inside, drawing a foul from Samudio. Austin's previous attempts weren't great - can he produce an improvement from this?
10'
A bit of pressure for Paraguay now, as Caceres manages to win a corner on the right flank, seeing his cross blocked behind. The set-piece is then taken short and Gonzalez hooks a delivery into the danger zone, but it goes straight to Kerr.
8'
R. Austin gets yellow.
Austin's third set-piece in quick succession isn't much of an improvement and Paraguay break forward, looking to catch Jamaica off guard. The move eventually comes to an end as the Jamaican captain goes in hard on Cacerez and concedes a free-kick, picking up a yellow card at the same time.
7'
Austin's free-kick is blocked behind for a corner by the wall, but his resulting corner doesn't cause too much of an issue. He has the opportunity to make amends, though, as Jamaica get another corner.
6'
Good play again down the right by Jamaica. McCleary skips past one challenge and then pokes the ball through the legs of Samudio, who ultimately fouls the winger. Free-kick now out on the right.
5'
Gonzalez is looking lively during these early stages. The winger runs at Lawrence this time and manages to squeeze a teasing cross into the area. Santa Cruz rises ahead of Hector and gets a header away, though it is goblled up by Kerr.
4'
The first shot of the match falls to Paraguay, however. Mariappa is robbed of the ball about 35 yards from his goal by Santa Cruz, who subsequently plays a pass into the left side of the area for Bobadilla. The striker stands the ball up to the back post for Gonzalez, but the winger's acrobatic effort goes harmlessly wide.
3'
Jamaica have started well here, seeing plenty of the ball and moving it forward quickly. Mariappa and McCleary have already linked well on the right flank, giving Samudio plenty to think about early on.
1'
After a brief delay (Mariappa appeared to have some incorrect pieces of kit on), we are finally underway in Antofagasta.
Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage of the Group B clash between Paraguay and Jamaica at the 2015 Copa America. My name is Ryan Benson and I shall be describing the action for you today, as these two sides go head-to-head in Antofagasta, looking to build upon promising - if not entirely successful - opening-day performances, with the knockout phase swiftly approaching.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
Paraguay starting XI (4-4-2): Silva; Valdez, P. Aguilar, Da Silva, Samudio; Gonzalez, Ortigoza, V. Caceres, Benitez; Santa Cruz, Bobadilla.
Paraguay substitutes: Villar, Piris, A. Aguilar, Marcos Caceres, Balbuena, Ortiz, Martinez, Romero, Molinas, Aranda, Nelson Haedo Valdez, Barrios.
Few of you will need reminding of Paraguay's exploits in their Copa opener versus Argentina, but I'm going to anyway! Despite falling two goals down, Ramon Diaz's men showed admirable spirit to battle back and secure a 2-2 draw. Nelson Haedo Valdez delighted with a 25-yard stunner, before Lucas Barrios' 90th-minute equaliser after coming off the bench left Gerardo Martino's men puzzled at what had just befallen them. Nevertheless, things will be much different for Ramon Diaz's men tonight, as it is they who will be under pressure to succeed, going into the game as strong favourites.
Despite the 2-2 draw and the fight-back involved, it comes as something of a surprise to see Diaz make three changes to his line-up. Haedo Valdez will start from the bench, as does Barrios once again, with Marcos Caceres and Richard Ortiz also dropping out of the team. Instead, the highly rated Derlis Gonzalez starts out wide, while Edgar Benitez fills the void in midfield and Bruno Valdez comes in at right-back. Other than that it is as you were for Paraguay, who can all but wrap up qualification with victory.
Following that defeat to Uruguay, coach Winfried Schafer has decided to ditch Mattocks and drop him to the bench, bringing Watson into the fold in his place, with the midfielder set to occupy a much deeper role than the attacker. As a result, Simon Dawkins will likely operate further forward with Barnes.
On the other hand, Jamaica also put in a spirited display against reigning champions Uruguay, though the Reggae Boyz's efforts ultimately came to nothing, as a solitary Cristian Rodriguez effort gave Oscar Tabarez's men a 1-0 win. Once again they come into the match as huge underdogs and few will be expecting a great deal from them, though all the pressure is resting on the shoulders of Santa Cruz and Co.
Paraguay 1-0 Jamaica: The referee brings the first half to a close, with the South Americans taking a slender lead into the break. Edgar Benitez's freak goal is all the separates the two sides on the scoreboard, though on the pitch the CONCACAF side have offered very little, particularly in attack. Diaz's men should have no trouble holding on to this lead judging by the first half, but perhaps Schafer can inspire an improvement.
Paraguay 1-0 Jamaica: The referee brings things to a close in Antofagasta, with Jamaica's late pushing ultimately coming to nothing. Edgar Benitez's freak first-half goal is the difference and it leaves Diaz's men on the bring of qualification for the knockout phase. Nevertheless, the coach will likely have plenty of criticism for his side's second-half display, as they took their foot off the pedal and lacked any kind of urgency. They'll need to be far better against Uruguay.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you've enjoyed the action. Farewell until next time.
