Sampaoli could not be more pleased with how this game has gone. La Roja have rested a couple of key players, as well as playing well in their absence. Bravo is worried by a snapshot from the edge of the box by Moreno, but the Bolivian forward's effort heads behind for a goal kick. The home fans are cheering every completed pass.
86'
R. Raldes is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
OWN GOAL! And what a bad one too! Henriquez centres a terrible cross, which deflects off the toe of Raldes, before looping over the Bolivian goalkeeper and striking the inside of the post! The ball bobbles into the back of the net, leaving the underdogs' captain looking as though he wants the ground to swallow him up.
85'
Only five minutes are left on the clock here, with the hosts happy to hold onto the ball at walking pace to run down the remaining minutes. This has been a convincing performance from La Roja, especially after withdrawing both Sanchez and Vidal at the interval.
83'
Once again, Moreno is close to sidestepping his way into enough space to shoot, but the lone forward is mobbed and dispossessed. Chile counter, with Vargas almost able to break into the clear, but under severe pressure from Coimbra and Raldes the forward takes a heavy touch out of play and falls to his knees.
81'
Moreno saunters through on goal for the underdogs, but Bravo narrows the angle well before sliding in to smother the ball. Chile have been much more assured defensively in this game, with no sign of the mistakes that cost them dearly against Mexico.
79'
G. Medel has scored a goal for Chile! Assist by J. Valdivia.
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! MEDEL SCORES CHILE'S FOURTH! It's a lovely finish from the Inter midfielder, who scampers through on goal before lofting a delicate finish over Quinonez and into the back of the net! He starts and finishes the move, with a lovely pass from Valdivia helping to pick out the diminutive pitbull.
78'
We're well into the final quarter of an hour in Santiago, with Sanchez and Vidal confident enough to share some jokes on the bench. Bolivia work their way down the right flank, but a shot from a tight angle by Pedriel is easily saved by Bravo. Chumacero, meanwhile, is really walking a disciplinary tightrope.
76'
Diaz is able to make a timely interception to deny Moreno, before Chile race upfield on the break. Valdivia tries to pull an inviting pass back to the edge of the box, but Fernandez can't do anything with it. El Mago really is trying to turn on the style in the dying embers of this game.
74'
Chumacero picks up a certain yellow card for sliding through the back of Valdivia, but the resulting free kick is easily hooked away from danger. Vargas then tries an acrobatic volley from a deflected Fernandez cross, but gets his execution rather embarrassingly wrong.
Minute
Description
72'
A. Chumacero gets yellow.
Vargas has a brilliant chance to grab a goal from just inside the penalty area, but the Napoli forward can only snatch at a volleyed attempt and send the ball skidding off the turf and into the gloves of Quinonez. Meanwhile, it's party time in the stands for La Roja's supporters.
70'
D. Pizarro enters the game and replaces G. Jara.
Pizarro is introduced for the home side, with Jara the man given a rest. The former Man City midfielder might be asked to a slightly deeper job than he would be accustomed to, with the diminutive substitute definitely fitting the physical profile of a Chilean defender in this day and age.
68'
The home fans can relax now, a three-goal comeback is more than certainly beyond Bolivia. Moreno has only managed to muster one save out of Bravo in nearly 70 minutes of play. Sampaoli is turning to his bench for another change immediately. He doesn't want to risk any key player limping out of this clash.
66'
C. Aránguiz has scored a goal for Chile! Assist by Á. Henríquez.
GOOOOOOOAL! ARANGUIZ GRABS HIS SECOND! That should be thank you and goodnight for Chile! The midfielder is present at the back post once again, in the right place at the right time. His first close-range effort is blocked, but the Internacional man tucks his second attempt into the back of the net.
65'
Clear-cut chances have been few and far between in the second half, with Bolivia failing to capitalise upon what appeared to be a solid start. In both periods, the underdogs have started at a great pace, before dropping right off the boil.
63'
C. Coimbra gets yellow.
Coimbra picks up a deserved yellow card for sliding straight through the back of Vargas. That looked to be a painful one for the Chilean forward, but he returns to his feet gingerly without treatment. Isla then tries to curl a cross in from the right, but it is sliced away.
61'
D. Lizio enters the game and replaces P. Escobar.
We're into the final half an hour in Santiago, with both sets of players probably wanting to hear the final whistle already. Bolivia won't mind a defeat this evening, given the fact they have already exceeded expectations by slipping through into the quarter-final stages.
59'
This game is remaining fairly competitive, despite the fact that both sides would probably accept this result now, if only to ensure that their players will not pick up any injuries or bookings between now and the full-time whistle. Fouls are breaking up the flow of play slightly, however.
57'
Valdivia is robbed of the ball by what looked to be a foul, but the referee doesn't give anything. Moreno is set away as a result, but a woeful touch from the forward ensures that Medel has the situations under control. Isla is nearly fed in down the right flank moments later, but Raldes comes across well to defuse the danger.
55'
Half a chance for Chile! Valdivia wriggles free of one challenge, before picking out Henriquez just inside the box. The Dinamo Zagreb forward dances around one tackle, before running into trouble and being dispossessed in a ruck of bodies.
53'
Henriquez manages to hook a cross back from the right byline, but the looping ball isn't met by anyone in red. Bolivia then win a corner on the left-hand side, but Bravo is quick off his line to make the delivery his own. Moreno tries to hide behind the goalkeeper, in case he drops the ball to kick from the floor, but the former Real Sociedad shot-stopper won't fall for the oldest trick in the book.
51'
Bolivia are trying to get the ball up to their forward options slightly quicker in this second half, with the underdogs definitely trying to kick on and fluster Chile in the opening minutes. La Roja won't be too concerned about letting their opponents have the ball, though, given their comfortable two-goal lead.
49'
Sampaoli is putting a lot of faith in his players for this second half, with Sanchez and Vidal proving to be key pieces of the puzzle in La Roja's previous fixtures. Bolivia attack from the start, but a low strike from Moreno is smothered well by Bravo. First save of the half for the Barca goalkeeper.
47'
Sanchez and Vidal are withdrawn for the hosts, with Fernandez and Henriquez being given a chance by Sampaoli. Bolivia also look to their bench, with Miranda and M. Bejarano coming into the fray.
46'
D. Miranda enters the game and replaces W. Veizaga.
M. Fernández enters the game and replaces A. Vidal.
M. Bejarano enters the game and replaces E. Rodríguez.
Á. Henríquez enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
We are back underway in the second half, as Chile close in on finishing first in Group A! Goals from Aranguiz and Sanchez have La Roja in a commanding position, but this contest isn't over yet! Bolivia are capable of causing an upset if given the chance.
45'
Morales is sent to the sideline to deal with the fact that he is bleeding, with not too many minutes to be put on the end of this half in the form of stoppage time. There is one minute added on.
43'
Over the bar from Beasejour! The wing-back races down the left-hand side, before being found in a huge pocket of space. The former Wigan man gallops forward, before slamming a first-time shot high into the stands! This could be any scoreline.
41'
L. Morales gets yellow.
Wide from Vargas! What a miss! The Chilean forward is picked out at the back post, after good work from Vidal and Sanchez! The former QPR man sidesteps one challenges from Rodriguez well, before setting himself up for a strike that was always heading some way off target.
39'
Well, that could have secured Chile's place at the summit of Group A! Bravo has been essentially a spectator, with Bolivia looking extremely unlikely to muster up goals from anywhere other than set pieces. Moreno has mostly been isolated in poor areas.
37'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Chile! Assist by J. Valdivia.
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! SANCHEZ MAKES IT 2-0! Valdivia and the Arsenal forward combine well, before the latter manages to plant a header across goal and into the far corner! Quinonez couldn't get near it and the crowd have gone wild! It was a lovely flicked finish from the Chilean, after being teed up brilliantly by the Palmeiras midfielder.
36'
Wide from Vargas! A free kick from the right-hand side is cleverly worked to the edge of the box, with the Napoli forward guiding a shot some yards wide of the right-hand post. Chile are struggling to extend their lead to something a little more comfortable.
35'
Pedriel sees a shot blocked deep inside the penalty area, with Chile breaking as a result. Valdivia is picked out in the opposition box, before beating one player, but then loses his balance and the ball gets away from him. Sanchez, however, is continuing to cause plenty of problems for Bolivia.
33'
Moreno wins a free kick from Medel, with the striker managing to skip past his opponent with a neat change of feet. Bolivia load the box yet again, but Escobar's delivery is headed away by Jara. Chile's lack of height is yet to be exploited.
31'
Vidal wins a free kick on the edge of the penalty box, with Veigaza the man conned into fouling the Juventus midfielder. Sanchez unleashes a curling right-footed strike, but the ball cannons off the crossbar and to safety! Bolivia's woodwork is struck once again!
29'
Vargas is penalised for pressuring Coimbra slightly too heavily, with La Roja continuing to maintain their high-tempo approach to all of their games. Bolivia try to break down the left, with Escobar releasing a left-footed cross, but an acrobatic clearance denies Soria's men. At the half-hour point, Chile are looking fairly comfortable.
27'
Chile are looking by far the more comfortable side on the ball. Aranguiz is released by Valdivia down the right-hand side, before Vargas is picked out, but Coimbra concedes a corner. The set-piece delivery is poor, however, and half cleared, before Jara lashes a long-range strike horribly wide.
25'
Smedberg is penalised for a foul, with Bolivia struggling to hold Chile at arm's length without giving away plenty of free kicks. Sampaoli is prowling his technical area, with La Roja presumably needing another goal before the break. Sanchez shoots from the edge of the, but sends the ball some way wide of the right-hand upright.
23'
Valdivia tries to break upfield for the hosts, beating two players, but El Mago's eventual pass to continue a counter-attack is wayward. La Roja maintain their pressure, but Beausejour is outmuscled and robbed of possession by Raldes.
21'
Escobar sends a searching long ball forward in search of a run from Moreno, but the pass skids off the turf and ends up within Bravo's grasp! Moments later, Vargas almost manages to get in behind the Bolivian back four, but Quinonez is alert to the danger and smothers the loose ball.
19'
Alexis wins himself a free kick in a dangerous area, with the former Barca wide man able to try his luck from this range. He sends a curling effort beyond the wall, getting it up and down brilliantly, but the ball clips the outside of the post on its way behind for a goal kick!
17'
Rodriguez gives away a cheap pass, before Diaz releases Beausejour down the left-hand side! The Colo Colo man whips in a cross, which is half-cleared, before Valdivia sees a long-range effort charged down. It is all Chile in terms of dangerous attacks, with Bolivia just not moving the ball quickly enough to cause problems thus far.
15'
Chumacero whips a cross into the back post, with Bravo not knowing if he was required to come and claim! Isla heads behind for a corner, but Raldes and Moreno are both unable to turn a dead-ball delivery into a clear-cut chance. Soria's men are just starting to settle down a little bit.
13'
Aranguiz tries to play a scything pass in behind Morales, but his through ball is too heavy and the goalkeeper comes out casually to gobble it up. Bolivia have only surrendered a couple of clear opportunities, but remain incapable of creating anything when in possession themselves. El Verde really needed to hold the scoreline at 0-0 for at least the first 45 minutes.
11'
Alexis tries to clip a neat cross in towards the back post, inviting three red shirts to attack the ball, but Quinonez gets there first! The home fans are making plenty of noise, with it looking likely that Chile will top their group at the moment.
9'
Smedberg is released brilliantly down the left flank, but the midfielder's cut back from the byline towards Moreno is terribly weighted. Moments later, La Roja break, but Valdivia hits a low strike from 25 yards out straight at Quinonez.
7'
Beausejour and Alexis combine down the left, before the latter jinks inside and sends a powerful effort rising over the crossbar! Chile are enjoying all of the early possession and Bolivia are yet to create any kind of even half chance. Vargas nearly nips in behind again, but Raldes nod a through ball back to his goalkeeper.
5'
Well, that constitutes a perfect start for the hosts! Bolivia just haven't managed to get their foot on the ball, with that early goal from Aranguiz perhaps taking a bit of the sting out of the fixture. After all, El Verde are already through and into the quarter finals.
3'
C. Aránguiz has scored a goal for Chile! Assist by E. Vargas.
GOOOOOOOOOAL! ARANGUIZ OPENS THE SCORING! A long ball forward from Medel is nodded back away from goal by Vargas, with the former Universidad de Chile midfielder making no mistake from 15 yards out! He strokes a low half volley across goal and into the bottom corner!
2'
It is immediately clear as to what Bolivia's gameplan will be, with El Verde keeping plenty of men behind the ball. The minnows whip a free-kick delivery into the penalty area early on, however, but Aranguiz rises well to head clear.
1'
We are underway in the first half in Santiago! The hosts are their customary red, while Bolivia are in their own kit of green and white. Despite qualification already being secured, this should still be a competitive affair.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of tonight's late kick off at the Copa America, as Chile and Bolivia look to close out Group A with a bang. Ecuador's earlier win against Mexico means that both teams are guaranteed to finish in first or second, but placing can become important when trying to avoid the tournament's big guns. The support is still present here in Santiago, despite a turbulent week for La Roja on and off the field!
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from the Chilean capital, as Sampaoli's men look to defeat Bolivia tonight to finish undisputedly at the top of their group. Both sides sit on four points heading into the fixture, with La Roja able to create plenty of opportunities but also allow the opposition to enjoy plenty of the same luxury. If Chile can cut defensive mistakes out of their game, then they will be looking in good shape heading into the knockout rounds.
TEAM NEWS: Arturo Vidal starts in midfield for the hosts, despite being involved in a car accident as a result of drink driving earlier in the week. Jean Beausejour gets a chance at left-back, with Eugenio Mena missing out, as it appears that Sampaoli has opted for a four-man defence. Marcelo Diaz will sit in midfield, with Charles Aranguiz, Vidal and Valdivia tasked with providing service for forward options Alexis Sanchez and Eduardo Vargas.
TEAM NEWS: Edward Zenteno and Hurtado drop out of the back four, with Rodriguez and Coimbra replacing them. Escobar and Veizaga come into what looks like a five-man midfield for Bolivia, with Moreno retaining his place up top. After being potentially his side's busiest player in the last round of fixtures, goalkeeper Quinonez will have to be on his game again to repel Chile's offensive options.
Bolivia substitutes: Eguino, Pena, Penarrieta, Miranda, Gamarra, M. Bejarano, Campos, Suarez, Hurtado, D. Bejarano, Zenteno, Lizio.
Both of these teams have already booked their places in the quarter finals, courtesy of a 2-1 win for Ecuador over Mexico, but that shouldn't take away from the occasion! This stadium is still filled to the rafters, with Chile having a great chance to put themselves in the favourable position of finishing top of Group A. Bolivia, meanwhile, have already exceeded expectations, but won't want to let up quite yet.
HALF TIME! Chile's job is half done in Santiago, with Sampaoli's side leading 2-0 after 45 minutes. Aranguiz and Sanchez have the goals which, as it stands, mean that La Roja will head out of this contest at the top of Group A. Be sure to stick with us for all of the action.
FULL TIME! Chile triumph as 5-0 winners over Bolivia, with Aranguiz, Sanchez, Medel and an own goal helping La Roja to an important three points. That sees the hosts head into the knockout stages as winners of Group A, with their adversaries also managing to progress in second place. That's all we have time for from Santiago, as Chile dominated the underdogs, I've been Simon Harrison and I will see you again next time.
