Cuadrado flicks a header into the path of Morata at the near post, but the Spaniard's connection sails well over the bar, and that may just do it.
90' +4
V. Ibarbo enters the game and replaces E. Džeko.
SZCZESNY SAVES THE RESULT! From Dybala's corner, Bonucci rises highest in a crowd of players to bounce a header towards goal off the turf, but a sprawling dive from the Arsenal loanee sees him push the ball around the post impressively! What an ending here!
90' +3
It's all happening in the Roma end of the field, as Juve push for an unlikely equaliser. The Giallorossi still have one more substitution to make if they want to milk the clock some more here.
90' +1
Desperation time for Roma as Pogba tries to flick in a pass on the edge of the 18-yard area which is hacked clear by Iturbe before Dybala can pounce on the far side. Four minutes of added time signaled.
89'
A. Ljajić enters the game and replaces Iago Falqué.
Roma have shifted into time-wasting mode for the closing moments of this game. They do have the man advantage, which will help them keep a hold of the ball against Juve's efforts to press and push forward.
87'
P. Dybala has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by R. Pereyra.
DYBALA PULLS ONE BACK! IS THERE TIME? The former Palermo man sneaks in just ahead of Manolas to stroke the ball high into the net. The stadium goes silent. Three minutes left...
85'
Juve work an opportunity down the left-hand side as Dybala angles a cross into the six-yard area, but Morata can't get a touch to turn the ball away from Szczesny, who comes off his line just enough to smother.
83'
There's still time before the transfer window slams shut. Will Juventus be forced into the transfer market based on their horrendous start to the season? They've lost so many key players this summer and it's not clear if their replacements are up to scratch.
81'
Stadio Olimpico is rocking from root to tip as their side put themselves in pole position to clinch a tremendous, morale-boosting win. Juventus are heading for their second straight loss without scoring a goal.
79'
E. Džeko has scored a goal for Roma! Assist by Iago Falqué.
DZEKOOOOOOOO! Have Roma wrapped this up? Cuadrado is slow to get back as Falque takes control of the ball down the left, picking out a wonderful ball for Dzeko in the centre, who flicks a header into the back of the net!
Minute
Description
78'
P. Evra gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
EVRA SENT OFF! Juventus' task goes from hard to monumental. The Frenchman picks up a quickfire second booking for tripping the substitute Iturbe. He's looked fatigued for a while, and that was as much proof as anything. The Bianconeri are now down to 10 men!
77'
J. Iturbe enters the game and replaces Mohamed Salah.
E. Džeko gets yellow.
Salah had a great first half but his influence somewhat waned after the interval. His evening is at an end and he soaks up the applause from the Roma faithful. He's sure to be a useful player at the very least for the Giallorossi. On comes Iturbe to slot into the vacated spot on the flanks. Dzeko is also carded for clipping Pereyra.
75'
J. Cuadrado enters the game and replaces S. Padoin.
P. Evra gets yellow.
Moments after Pereyra replaces Lichtsteiner, Allegri pulls the trigger on his final substitution, with the expected arrival of Cuadrado, who makes his debut in place of Padoin. Somewhere in between all that, Evra is carded for upending Nainggolan in plain view of the referee.
73'
BUFFON PEPPERED AGAIN! Nainggolan creates space for a shot as Roma attack, but his stinging effort warms the palms of the veteran keeper as he pushes it around the post! Great save, and good on him for eliminating the possibility of a rebound by diverting it out of play!
72'
R. Pereyra enters the game and replaces S. Lichtsteiner.
71'
HUGE OPENING PASSED UP! Pogba stretches every sinew to latch onto a delivery from the corner, but he can't contort his neck to direct the ball inside the far post, as it bounces just wide with everyone else standing, watching and praying!
69'
This has been an utterly captivating match, and it appears that Roma are growing in confidence as they seek to reverse their poor recent record against the Bianconeri. They deserve this lead.
67'
Mandzukic has been replaced by Morata, by the way, as Allegri looks for a different option up front. The Spaniard bears some similarity to the former Atletico Madrid man in their aerial prowess and physical ability, but he is a little more mobile with the ball at his feet.
66'
Rubinho goes off after a red card!
Rubinho, on the Juventus bench, has been sent off without ever stepping foot on the pitch for some comments to the officials that crossed the line.
65'
Dybala takes control of that set-piece in a very inviting spot, but he doesn't come close to replicating the magic of Pjanic from moments before. His effort is over the wall but never stops rising, to the glee of the crowd.
64'
D. De Rossi gets yellow.
63'
DE ROSSI HANDBALL! A cross comes in and the Roma stalwart makes no effort to retract his forearms and it hits in an illegal position. The referee awards a free-kick right on the 18-yard line and gives De Rossi a yellow.
62'
Álvaro Morata enters the game and replaces M. Mandžukić.
61'
M. Pjanić has scored a goal for Roma!
PJANIC HAS DONE IT! ROMA LEAD FROM THE FREE-KICK! Five men in the Juventus wall but no obstacle for the playmaker! He bends it just above the jump of the tallest player, and the deadly accuracy sees it fly into the left side of the goal, with Buffon completely rooted to the spot!
60'
BUFFON CALLED INTO ACTION AGAIN! A long shot is controlled by Dzeko on the left side of the area and he lets fly, only to be denied by a kick save from the keeper. Roma keep it alive and the ball is back with Dzeko at the top of the 18, but he's fouled before he can sort his feet out. Dangerous free-kick to come for the Giallorossi.
59'
Pjanic has suffered his fair share of fouls here, but now he's pulled up for an infraction of his own. Evra touched on a high ball and the Bosnian attempted to intercept and control it with his chest, but only succeeds in letting the ball roll off his extended arm. The referee books him for the handball to a mix of bitterness and fury from the home fans.
58'
M. Pjanić gets yellow.
Dzeko does just enough to keep a low ball alive in the centre of the box, and he touches it to Pjanic, who has to wrestle off the attentions of a defender before striking on the turn, but Buffon gets down early to smother that effort. First chance of the second half for Roma.
56'
Pogba better be careful as he gets involved in a tussle with Salah on the left-hand side. The Roma players aren't happy and seem to be insinuating that the incident deserved a second yellow card for the Frenchman, but the referee lets him off with what I presume is his final warning.
54'
Roma are camped in the opposition half, particularly down the right flank, but Juve are holding their ground a little better and making sure that the gaps aren't there to thread balls through.
52'
Some warmups happening on the near touchline, with Cuadrado the most prominent of them. Looks like the first substitution of the game might be the introduction of the former Fiorentina ace.
50'
That's a bit better from the Bianconeri as Caceres feeds Pogba in the middle of the park, who drives forward with the ball but ultimately can't fashion a chance. Moments later, Juve win a corner, which comes to Caceres, who misses the target with his powerful attempt.
48'
Roma are attempting to pick up where they left off, marauding forward in numbers as they search for that opening goal. No changes yet from either side as the second half gets into stride.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
That's the end of the first half.
43'
The tempo of this match is dying down here, which will suit Juventus just fine as they edge towards a much-needed reset at the half-time break. Allegri will have a lot to ponder and probably reshuffle at the break.
41'
Pjanic has confidence coursing through is veins at warp speed, and he channels that into an audacious 35-yard effort that looked good for a second, but ultimately doesn't trouble Buffon as much as it could have.
39'
Roma will be a little miffed that they haven't ended the first half in front given their dominance. Juve look uncharacteristically shaky and error-prone. Taking advantage of circumstance on the pitch has been a problem that has plagued the Giallorossi for most of 2015. Still time for that to change before the break though.
37'
G. Chiellini gets yellow.
Lightning strikes twice as Chiellini flattens Pjanic again with another cruncher of a challenge. This time, the Roma players throng the referee who, to be fair, has the yellow card out before Pjanic had even hit the turf. It's a sign of the Bosnian's influence that the experienced Chiellini has had to resort to such aggressive measures to curtail him.
35'
Chiellini crashes into Pjanic who is on the turn in agony. The fans didn't like that and are raining venom down from the stands, but the referee lets the grizzled centre-back away with a warning this time.
33'
Evra is having no luck at all with Salah out wide. Every time the Frenchman pushes forward, it seems that the Egyptian winger is in a position to exploit the space in behind.
31'
The late runs from Pjanic and Co. from midfield are causing Juventus all sorts of problems. It's a huge reason for the concession of so many cheap fouls by the Bianconeri, as they've been anything but proactive in tracking the movement.
29'
Without Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo, the Juventus midfield looks rather flat. It's Paul Pogba's team now, but even he, despite his incredible versatility, can't do it all on his own.
27'
Salah drives forward and lays the ball off for Pjanic. He continues his run into the box, but even he can't catch up with the return pass from the Bosnian. Roma continue to apply the pressure.
25'
Roma are hounding Juve at every opportunity, but the Bianconeri do have a rare respite as Pogba hoists a long ball for Mandzukic at the far post, only for Szczesny to show solid hands to pluck that delivery out of the air.
23'
OFF THE POST! Tremendous effort from Pjanic which deserved a goal! The midfielder shows superb technique to angle a strike to the far corner. Buffon is beaten all ends up, but the woodwork comes to his rescue!
22'
P. Pogba gets yellow.
21'
The fans are getting into this now as Roma start to push Juve back into their own half again. Bonucci, Chielini and Caceres have been a busy trio so far, with a lot of movement occurring all around them.
19'
We've seen this is the past with Juventus matches. Teams make a positive start, and keep the Bianconeri penned back. However, they fail to take their chances, and Juventus inevitably get the goal or two they need to take the result. Will Roma fall into that trap?
17'
We're seeing some signs of life from the Bianconeri in the last few minutes as they begin to activate Lichtsteiner and Evra down the flanks to set up attacks. In Mandzukic, they have one of the best targets in the world to pick out from high balls and crosses.
15'
Mandzukic looks to be in at the back post for a second after taking down a ball, but before he can pull the trigger, Digne steals in to intercept. To add insult to injury, a goal-kick is given when the ball goes over the byline.
13'
Juve haven't really had a sustained period on the ball in the Roma half. Mandzukic and Dybala look like separate entities to the rest of the Juventus team, with the full-backs not afforded the opportunity to overlap as yet.
11'
Salah shows great reactions to pounce on another turnover from Juventus, and he makes up the ground in the opposition half. He eschews an effort of his own to tee up Florenzi, who drags the ball across the box and out over the far side. Somewhat disappointing end to that move.
9'
This is incredibly sloppy play from the Juventus midfield in the opening minutes, as they are struggling to establish a rhythm and are turnover prone under the energetic pressure from their Roma counterparts.
7'
Now Falque has a crack from outside the area that misses the mark, moments before he has another attempt on goal that takes a deflection which brings it into the grasp of Buffon. Rudi Garcia must be pleased with the start from his team - can they make it count?
5'
The tackles are flying in, and Roma win a corner after a sustained period of pressure. It falls kindly to Keita on the far side of the box, but his low effort is lashed into the side netting and Juve can breathe.
3'
Decent start to this match from Roma in the sunshine over the Italian capital. Juve's defence have been forced to put in some work early on here, and they don't look entirely composed as of yet.
1'
We're off!
The Serie A season is still in its infancy but we've already been blessed with a heavyweight clash as Roma host defending champs Juventus in the Italian capital. The Giallorossi could not sustain their title charge last season, but here's a first chance to right that wrong. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action this evening.
Roma didn't exactly start the new season with a bang, drawing their opening league fixture 1-1 with Verona last weekend. Some terrible results in 2015 saw the capital club nearly surrender their eventual second place finish last campaign, with rivals Lazio ending up only one point behind them in third by the end of the season.
Juventus, meanwhile began 2015-16 in the exact opposite manner of their 2014-15 triumph. The Bianconeri went down 1-0 at home to Udinese, breaking a 47-match unbeaten streak on their own patch and handing the chasing pack some hope that it won't be another cakewalk to a fifth straight league title.
Juve have generally dominated this fixture recently, losing only one of their last 10 meetings with Roma, which came in 2013 when Francesco Totti struck the only goal of the game to win it for the Giallorossi. In past meetings overall, the Bianconeri lead with 77 wins to Roma's 37 - no side has beaten the capital club more times in the league.
Roma (4-3-3): Szczesny; Florenzi, Manolas, De Rossi, Digne; Pjanic, Keita, Nainggolan; Iago Falque, Dzeko, Salah.
New Roma left-back Lucas Digne comes into the starting lineup for Vasilis Torosidis, with fellow summer arrival Iago Falque beginning on the right side of the front three in place of Gervinho. He's joined by Edin Dzeko and Mohamed Salah up top in a new-look attack for the Giallorossi this season.
Paulo Dybala has been drafted into the XI to partner Mario Mandzukic in attack for the Bianconeri, with the front two having an unfamiliar feel to it with Carlos Tevez no longer at the club - likewise for the midfield and Andrea Pirlo. Juan Cuadrado has just joined on loan from Chelsea, returning to the league where he made his name, but he has to settle for a place on the bench.
Both teams head into the tunnel but there's only been one side that have dominated this encounter. Juventus have been jittery, disjointed and lacking any sort of poise. Roma have pounced all over that to dominate the ball in dangerous areas and create a few good chances. All that's missing is a goal. Stay tuned for the restart to see if that changes.
Roma seal a massive victory against Juventus with two deserved goals in the second half bettering the lone effort by the visitors. It was a tempestuous affair throughout, with Evra receiving his marching orders for two bookings. The drama is not done as the referee has to pull the players apart after the final whistle.
Pjanic opened the scoring with a wonderful free-kick, before Dzeko headed in the second. Evra was dismissed but there was still time for Dybala to set up a grandstand finish with his 87th minute goal. Four points for Roma now, and none for Juve after two games.
That's all from me, Keeghann Sinanan here, signing off. Hope you had as much fun as I did.
