No less than Astana deserved. That was INCREDIBLE hustle from Canas to start and both finish that move. This stadium is bouncing all around. Is there time for even more drama here in Kazakhstan?
90'
S. Sarıoğlu enters the game and replaces Y. Öztekin.
89'
A. Shchetkin enters the game and replaces G. Zhukov.
L. Carole is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
ASTANA ARE LEVEL! THEY HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! What a thrill this has been! Canas starts a move with an excellent cross into the area that Muslera punches clear to the top of the box. Canas is onto the rebound as well, heading goalwards from 18 yards. Carole swings in vain to clear it - it heads into the back of the net!
88'
Galatasaray are so close to a first away win in the Champions League since March 2013. They've hardly deserved it based on their second-half performance, but you know what they say about good teams and winning and playing below-par.
86'
N. Erić is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
HEARTBREAK FOR ASTANA! Oh my, that was a clanger from Eric. Gumis' cross was powerful, but it was somehow palmed into the back of his own net by the keeper. That was just terrible to watch if you're a goalkeeper.
85'
No one is leaving the Astana Arena early here. Galatasaray try to conjure up something late on with a cross-cum-shot from Rodriguez, but it's covered with ease by Eric at his near post.
83'
WIDE OF THE TARGET! That should have been the winner, as he profits from a terrible Galatasaray turnover to run in down the left side. He has only the keeper to beat, but he slices it into the side netting! He holds his head in his hands and that tells you how close he came!
82'
S. Muzhikov enters the game and replaces F. Kéthévoama.
81'
S. Gümüş enters the game and replaces B. Kısa.
Astana keep pushing forward here in a bid to find another goal. They have all the momentum and what a story it would be if they come from behind here! Having said that, a point seems like the fairest result.
79'
Galatasaray wanted a foul awarded against Kabananga, but replays show that despite the contact, Kaya fell due to a lack of balance more than anything else. Astana get the goal that their second half has warranted!

Description
77'
T. Nuserbayev enters the game and replaces B. Dzholchiev.
H. Balta is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
AND THERE IT IS! Astana have drawn level! The home side erupt as Kabananga beats Kaya down the left side of the area. The defender lost his balance, and Kabananga slams the ball into the six-yard area, where it deflects off Balta and into the back of the net!
76'
Maksimovic is the next player to have a pop, but it's right down the throat of Muslera. It's such a delicate time for Galatasaray, who are hanging on for dear life! Astana keep coming forward.
74'
Yet another shot fired away at goal from the home side as Zhukov takes aim from distance, only to find Muslera equal to it. You get the feeling that this equaliser is coming at some point.
72'
Bulut misses a connection on a cross. This game is really open now, with Gala having space to exploit on the counter if they so desire. Moments later, Zhukov has a shot blocked from a corner.
70'
Carole charges at Anicic in the battle for a cross, but he lands hard. Galatasaray are claiming a penalty, but the referee is unmoved. It looked a 50-50 challenge to me, but still a tad risky from the defender.
68'
José Rodríguez enters the game and replaces Ł. Podolski.
Podolski is never the best candidate for a defensive shift, which is what Gala need to put in to stem the Astana tide. He's booed off by the home fans after an earlier clash with Shomko. On comes Jose Rodriguez.
66'
CHANCES ON TOP OF CHANCES! Astana are getting bold here, and that's exactly what they need to do! Kabananga misses from long range, before Kethevoama nods the ball the wrong side of the post!
64'
THAT WAS THE CHANCE! By far Astana's best chance of the game. Kethevoama does excellently to launch an inswinging cross that beats two defenders to the far post. Dzholchiev charges it down but his attempt at the finish bobbles wide of the post on the opposite side!
62'
Sneijder does well to keep a hold of the ball under considerable pressure from Canas. Moments later, the Astana midfielder forces a save from Muslera with an ambitious effort, but the keeper wasn't likely to be beaten from there.
60'
Galatasaray finally work the ball out of their own half. They win a throw-in down the left-hand side. Hardly a profitable outcome, I know, but it does present them with the opportunity to force Astana to rob them of the ball far away from their own goal.
58'
Astana have set up their artillery to launch a few crosses into the area. Galatasaray have just about dealt with it, but the cracks are starting to appear for them. They could use another goal to settle nerves, but they haven't attacked since that Bulut chance!
56'
Galatasaray have everybody back in their own half and Astana are accepting the invitation to push men forward. It's one-way traffic at the moment. How long can Gala repel the hosts?
54'
That's a great chance for Astana! They finally cause some real concern in the Galatasaray ranks as Maksimovic tests Muslera, before the visitors are forced to scramble clear the subsequent attack.
52'
Galatasaray are looking more and more composed on the ball. They're clearly in no hurry to force the issue in attack, and that necessitates some ambition from the home side in order to get possession in their favour.
50'
GOOD CHANCE! Eric once again comes to Astana's rescue. The keeper is in position to deny Bulut, who had split full-back and centre-back with a dangerous run. His effort is diverted around the post!
48'
Once again, Astana promise but can't execute. Kabananga wins a corner and Kethevoama takes it, but Muslera isn't troubled in the end. You get the sense that a set piece might be their best recourse to a goal.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
LATE SAVE! Podolski, at the third time of asking, finally is able to let fly with a shot, but Eric is equal to it. And with that, the referee decides that he's seen enough and sends both teams into the tunnel for the break.
43'
Chances have been at a premium here and you can feel Astana winding down as the half-time break approaches. There's a lot for them to ponder at the break, with a change in approach probably needed.
42'
41'
S. İnan gets yellow.
Selcuk picks up one of the stranger bookings you are likely to see. He though that he was fouled by Canas and grabbed the ball to take a free-kick - which was never awarded. The referee simply books him for the handball, and Sekcuk would do well to keep quiet here.
39'
Galatasaray have been disciplined defensively since opening the scoring around the half-hour mark, not letting the enthusiasm of their opponents or the atmosphere in the crowd get into their heads.
37'
This Astana team are just lacking that touch of quality in the final third. The little through balls on the edge of the area that are easily intercepted, crosses that go astray - this is all the mark of a team that is probably almost too excited.
35'
Galatasaray have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 20 Champions League away games - their last shutout came 13 years ago! This match is far from over as Astana work a spell in the opposition half.
33'
Now will this change Galatasaray's approach? Astanah ave looked their most dangerous here on the break. The Turkish side could sit further back to restrict the space and take their chances on the counter.
31'
B. Kısa has scored a goal for Galatasaray! Assist by W. Sneijder.
THAT'S THE OPENER! Kisa stuns the Astana Arena by putting an end to a patient spell of possession with a long-range shot that swerves and surprises Eric at his near post! The movement on that ball was something else!
29'
Once again, Podolski is crowded out of a shot, and Galatasaray are forced to reset their move again. It's been a long spell in possession for them, and the home fans are getting restless.
27'
So far, both sides have traded little five-minute spells where they've controlled possession and looked in the ascendancy. The fact that Eric has been tested more though is perhaps a testament to Gala's superior quality.
25'
Bulut and Carole combine to put the defence under pressure, with Sneijder getting the ball in a decent shooting position. Once again, he lets fly, but this time, his effort is nowhere near trouble for Eric.
23'
Kabananga has done a solid job of holding up long balls out of the back, If his midfielders could oblige with some better off-the-ball movement to support him in dangerous areas, then Gala could be in trouble.
21'
Podolski tries to manufacture space for a shot down the left, but he can't shake off his marker. Interestingly, he's already scored here at the Astana Arena, while wearing the colours of Germany.
19'
Sneijder has been the main danger man for Galatasaray, but his teammates have not been on the same wavelength, which has often forced the Dutch midfielder to take matters into his own hands.
17'
Kethevoama has the ball on the run down the centre. However, he gets a rush of blood to the head it seems, and hacks a wild shot into the stands from at least 30 yards. More composure required.
15'
Balta can't do much to clear a dangerous cross from Astana, and his header breaks kindly for Zhukov on the edge of the box. The crowd are roaring him on, but his low shot is smothered by Muslera.
13'
Astana have a decent amount of space whenever they break, a consequence of Galatasaray's eagerness to push men forward whenever they can. Kabananga takes a shot on a turn at the end of an attack but misses.
11'
SNEIJDER JUST MISSES! The ball breaks for the Dutch midfielder on the left-hand side of the box and he cracks one on goal from there, but it's flashed just wide of the far post!
9'
Galatasaray are getting more and more sure of themselves on the ball. They are finding some particularly decent combinations down the left-hand side, which Astana would do well to tighten up on.
7'
This match is taking place on an artificial turf, so it will be interesting if that becomes a factor as this match progresses. Astana's energy is admirable in the early exchanges, even if their quality isn't.
5'
DOUBLE SAVE! Eric, the Astana keeper, is forced into two stops in quick succession. Denayer has a go from a set-piece move which is denied, before Sneijder picks up the pieces and lets fly from long range, with the keeper able to claim.
3'
Behind a raucous crowd, Astana have started this match with a lot of energy. They are forcing a few mistakes from Galatasaray in possession, but themselves are unable to do much on the ball.

Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Wednesday's early Champions League kick-off between Astana and Galatasaray. The Kazakhstan champs face off against the Turkish heavyweights in the second round of Group C. Stick with me, Keeghann Sinanan, for all the action.
Astana are playing in their first-ever group-stage campaign, but it didn't get off to the brightest of starts with an opening-day defeat to Benfica by a 2-0 scoreline. They are still the only team from Kazakhstan to ever reach these lofty heights, after they won their first league title last season and navigated three rounds of qualifiers.
Galatasaray were drawn with Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Anderlecht in the group stages last campaign, and were unable to make a mark, finishing at the bottom of the pile. Their quest for redemption hasn't gone to plan thus far with a 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid in their opener. They currently sit fourth in the Super Lig, but are only two points off early leaders Besiktas.
Galatasaray subs: Gonen, Chedjou, Siroglu, Rodriguez, Adin, Colak, Gumus.
Astana are without Patrick Twumasi, who is serving the second game of his four-match European ban, while Yeldos Akhmetov is also missing after he was stretchered off during their last game against Aktobe. However, those two absences aside, it is an unchanged team from Stanimir Stoilov from the one that fell to Benfica.
There's only one alteration from Hamza Hamzaoglu from his team's last match in the Super Lig over the weekend. Jose Rodriguez has made way for Selcuk Inan in midfield. However, Burak Yilmaz and Hamit Altintop have both been ruled out of this one due to injury concerns with their hamstring and knee respectively.
Galatasaray have a narrow lead here in Kazakhstan, courtesy of Kisa's lovely effort from long range. Astana have been fired on by the home crowd and have had encouraging moments, but their execution has been sorely lacking. They've got a lot of work to do to get back into it. Stay tuned for the restart in just a bit.
The end of an incredible night here at the Astana Arena. The Kasakhstan Champions League debutantes pick up their first points in this competition, thanks to an incredible finish here. They twice came back to snatch a point and stretch Galatasaray's winless streak in Europe to 10 games.
That's all from me. Hope the rest of today's Champions League action lives up to this! From me, Keeghann Sinanan, it's bye for now.
