The officials have indicated that there will be just three minutes of added time in the second half. Will there be one final twist to the tale here in the Italian capital?
90'
GREAT SAVE! Felipe Anderson surges forward down the right-hand side and plays in Matri with a low cross, but the Lazio striker brings out a great save from Ruffier between the sticks.
88'
It'll be interesting to see how much added time will be added on here considering the amount of substitutes and also Sall's sending off in the second half. Game on at the Olimpico!
86'
JUST WIDE! The chance comes for Saint-Etienne to make it 3-3 as Pajot rises highest inside the penalty but he guides his header just past the post with Berisha rooted to the spot. What an opportunity.
84'
K. Monnet-Paquet has scored a goal for Saint-Etienne! Assist by I. Diomandé.
GOOOOOOOOAAAALLL!! It's 3-2 and it might not be over yet! Monnet-Pacquet outmuscles Basta at the back post and lobs Berisha with a fabulous chip just outside the penalty area to send the away stand into rapture.
82'
Saint-Etienne can take great credit from the way they've played in spells tonight with a two-man deficit. Sall's opener gave Lazio a wake-up call and the Italian hosts look set to take control of Group C with a win tonight.
80'
L. Biglia has scored a goal for Lazio!
GOOOOOOOOOAAAALLL!! It's surely all over as Lazio make it 3-1! Biglia picks up a loose ball inside the penalty area and drives home an effort, via a deflection off Perrin, into the roof of the net.
79'
Monnet-Pacquet combines with Polomat and sends in a low cross towards the penalty area, but Hoedt does enough inside the penalty area as he snuffs out the danger.
77'
M. Bayal Sall gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
HE'S OFF! It's been an extraordinary night for Sall as he picks up a second yellow card for a silly challenge late on in the second half. After scoring Les Verts' opener, he's let himself down with several silly challenges.
76'
Sall makes another poor challenge on Anderson and falls down on the floor in a heap with the Lazio man. He's on a yellow card and surely the referee is going to dish out a second when he gets to his feet.

Description
74'
D. Cataldi enters the game and replaces O. Onazi.
K. Monnet-Paquet enters the game and replaces N. Roux.
Cataldi is stripped and ready to come on for Lazio now in the final change for the hosts. Pioli's men are seeing the job out expertly as they continue to keep possession really well.
Goalscorer Onazi comes off late on as Pioli makes another change for Lazio. Forward Capaldi heads on as his replacement with around 15 minutes of normal time left to play.
Gaultier rolls the dice for the third and final time as Roux heads off the pitch at the Stadio Olimpico. Rapid winger Monnet-Pacquet runs on as his successor.
72'
Onazi powers forward looking to add a second goal to his name tonight but sends his shot wide of the target from distance. Saint-Etienne are struggling to get a touch of the ball at the moment and time is running out for them to draw level.
70'
Substitute Baheback comes off the bench and makes a great impact as he wins a free-kick under a challenge from Hoedt. He curls a cross in towards goal but the Lazio defender clears at the near post.
68'
Diomande powers forward through the middle of the park but his weight of pass lets him down as he tries to slip in Roux, but the ball runs too close to Berisha.
66'
Milinkovic-Savic wins a free-kick for Lazio as Sall brings him down inside Saint-Etienne's half. There's no rush here from the hosts, who appear to be happy with the scoreline as things stand.
64'
A. Matri enters the game and replaces S. Mauri.
J. Bahebeck enters the game and replaces R. Hamouma.
Lazio are dominating the ball at the moment as Saint-Etienne continue to struggle slightly with their one-man deficit. Les Verts' are working hard in a 4-3-2 system out of possession.
Mauri heads off the pitch as former Genoa man Matri comes on for Lazio. The veteran forward struggled, in truth, tonight when he had the ball at his feet but his movement was sharp.
Youngster Baheback comes on as Saint-Etienne make their second change in a matter of minutes. Hamouma comes off the pitch for him as his influence died down in the second half after a solid opening 45 minutes.
63'
I. Diomandé enters the game and replaces B. Corgnet.
Gaultier makes his first change of the match as he takes off Corgnet for Diomande in a midfield swap. The former played well today, with his touch at the near post bringing about the opener for the French outfit.
62'
Corgnet tries to link up with Roux towards the Lazio penalty area but his pass goes too far beyond his team-mate and the attack breaks down. It appears that the visitors are about to make a couple of changes now.
60'
Biglia collects the ball in the middle of the park and he spins into a good bit of space and plays in Keita between the two Saint-Etienne defenders, but the official on that side of the pitch raises his flag for offside.
58'
Keita skips inside from the right-hand side onto his left foot past Polomat but his driven cross towards Mauri goes beyond his team-mate and comfortably into the arms of Ruffier.
56'
Mauri tries to latch onto a through ball deep into Saint-Etienne's half but he fails to get it under control well enough and the danger runs clear for Les Verts.
54'
There's plenty of noise booming around the Stadio Olimpico now as Lazio lead the match for the first time thanks to Hoedt's goal. No doubt that the red card has spun this game on its head.
52'
Milinkovic-Savic concedes a free-kick as he brings down Corgnet in the middle of the park. This is a good chance for Saint-Etienne to try and force through a leveller.
50'
Hamouma tries to play a one-two with Clerc with Saint-Etienne now chasing the game, but Radu stands firm at the back and clears the danger brilliantly for Lazio.
48'
W. Hoedt has scored a goal for Lazio!
M. Bayal Sall gets yellow.
GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAALLL!! It's 2-1 to Lazio! Biglia curls in a deep free-kick which Ruffier fails to punch clear as Hoedt cleverly taps home from a tight angle to complete the turnaround for the hosts.
Sall collects the second caution of the match from the referee as he dives in poorly on Milinkovic-Savic from behind. He's been really off with his tackling tonight has the Saint-Etienne goalscorer.
46'
S. Gentiletti enters the game and replaces Maurício.
Welcome back! Lazio get us back underway for the second half here inside the Stadio Olimpico, with Mauricio, injured in the red card to Beric in the opening period, coming off for Gentiletti for the next 45 minutes.
Mauricio becomes the first man to be withdrawn tonight as Pioli takes no risks with his trusted centre-back. He fails to recover from being caught with Beric's elbow in the first half as Gentiletti comes on as his replacement.
45'
BIG CHANCE! Mauri makes a glorious run off the back of Polomat but as the ball comes tumbling down at pace, he struggles to generate enough purchase on his effort towards goal, which goes over the crossbar from close range.
44'
Polomat wins a good challenge down the left flank and feeds in Lemoine, who curls in a cracking ball towards Roux making tracks inside the box but the former Lille striker sends his headed effort wide of Berisha between the sticks.
42'
Pajot rolls around on the floor several times as he gets clipped cynically down the right-hand side by Hoedt. The Lazio defender avoids a booking as Hamouma stands over the set piece ready to take.
40'
CLOSE! Corgnet makes a great run into the centre of the pitch and plays a magnificent through ball to Hamouma, who ghosts in behind Radu but his effort gets saved easily by Berisha inside the penalty area. That was a great chance for the visitors to take the lead once more.
38'
Saint-Etienne have set their stall out to defend with every man behind the ball now since the sending off. It'll be interesting to hear Galtier's thoughts after the game on the referee's bizarre decision.
36'
Hamouma whips in a cracking free-kick towards the back stick which Sall meets ahead of several Lazio players inside the penalty area, but his effort towards goal lacks power and falls comfortably into the arms of Berisha.
35'
Biglia takes a corner in towards a queue of players camped inside the Saint-Etienne penalty area but the ball gets cleared from the danger zone. The referee halts play straight after as blood continues to come from the nose of Mauricio.
32'
R. Berić goes off after a red card!
There's a stoppage in play at the moment as the physios run onto the pitch to give treatment to Mauricio. Blood is pouring out of the Lazio centre-back's nose after he challenged Beric in an aerial tussle.
HE'S OFF! The referee sends Beric for an early shower for a suspected elbow on Mauricio. The replay shows that the Saint-Etienne forward is incredibly hard done-by as it was far from deliberate when the two battled for the ball.
30'
Mauricio steps out of defence in possession and tries to hand ammunition to Basta once more, but the Lazio centre-back puts too much on the pass and the ball trickles out for a Saint-Etienne throw-in.
28'
After a dominant start from Les Verts, Lazio are starting to look really bright on the breakaway, particularly down the right-hand through Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian is winning his battle with Polomat at the moment.
26'
CHANCE! Basta powers forward from right-back excellently and with three options up with him, he fails to pick out any of them as his low cross gets hooked away by Perrin inside the Saint-Etienne box.
25'
O. Onazi gets yellow.
Onazi becomes the first man to get his name taken by the Turkish referee tonight. Corgnet tries to launch a counter-attack for Les Verts but the Nigeria international steps across him cynically and receives a caution as a result.
24'
The referee awards Saint-Etienne a free-kick as Onazi, fresh from scoring for Lazio, prevents Corgnet running forward on a breakaway by blocking his path with a robust challenge.
22'
O. Onazi has scored a goal for Lazio!
GOOOOOOOOOAAAALLL!! It's 1-1 and Lazio are back in it! Felipe Anderson whips in a low cross which Mauri misses at the near post but the ball runs to Onazi, who takes a great first touch inside the box and fires home to restore parity for the hosts. Game on!
20'
Lazio have a rare chance as Biglia curls in a corner towards the middle of the penalty area but as Milinkovic-Savic leaps and heads over the crossbar, the referee awards Saint-Etienne a free-kick for an apparent foul on Sall.
18'
Keita marauds into the Saint-Etienne final third and plays in Onazi, who makes a good run forward but his ball across the face of goal towards Mauri lacks pace and that allows Ruffier to gobble it up to see the Lazio attack break down.
16'
CLOSE! Roux drives down the left-hand side and feeds in an onrushing Hamouma, who overcooks his touch and allows Basta to see the ball into the arms of Berisha. Saint-Etienne are knocking on the door time and time again and there is nothing coming back from Lazio at the moment.
14'
OFF THE BAR! Hamouma curls in another delightful corner towards the near post which gets cleared towards the back stick and as Roux tries to head it into the top corner, the ball strikes the crossbar and runs away from Corgnet inside the six-yard box.
13'
OUCH! Sall concedes a free-kick inside his own half as he lunges in on Biglia, who was running forward at full speed. It was full blooded but the referee chooses not to dish out the first card of the match.
12'
Hamouma looks lively again as he storms forward down the left-hand side and plays a clipped through ball towards Beric, but Hoedt comes across from the centre of defence and clears well for Lazio.
10'
Saint-Etienne remain the better of the two sides so far as Corgnet plays a lovely ball through towards Hamouma and the winger almost gets there, but Berisha rushes off his line to just about snuff out the danger.
8'
BIG SAVE! Hoedt thinks he gets Lazio straight back into it as he heads towards the bottom corner and forces a great save from Ruffier, but the referee waves away the hosts' appeals for the goal to be given. The replay shows that the Saint-Etienne goalkeeper does clear the ball off the line in the nick of time. Great decision from the officials.
6'
M. Bayal Sall has scored a goal for Saint-Etienne! Assist by B. Corgnet.
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAALLL!! It's 1-0 to Saint-Etienne. Corgnet runs to the near post and flicks on Hamouma's corner towards the middle of the goal and Sall is on hand as he taps home from close range to put the visitors in front.
5'
It continues to be a rather scrappy opening as Lemoine gets penalised for a cheap foul on Keita, before Lazio skipper Biglia does a similar thing as he hacks down Perrin for a Saint-Etienne set-play.
3'
Both sides have struggled to retain possession well enough in the early stages of the first half here in the Italian capital. Saint-Etienne are showing some good high pressing off the ball to deny Lazio space to move into.
1'
Saint-Etienne get us underway here inside the Stadio Olimpico. The man in charge of the cards for tonight's encounter in Italy is Halis Ozkahya from Turkey.
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of tonight's UEFA Europa League clash between Lazio and Saint-Etienne from the Stadio Olimpico. I'm Matthew Judge and I will be your host for the match, which kicks off at 6pm.
It's the first ever meeting in UEFA competition between these two sides tonight as a big three points hangs in the balance in Group G. Both Lazio and Saint-Etienne opened up their Europa League campaigns with draws in the last round of fixtures and victory for either team in Rome would put them in control of the four-team mix.
Lazio and Saint-Etienne are sitting comfortably in and around the European places in their respective leagues, with the Biancocelesti positioned fifth in Serie A while Les Verts are flying high in second in Ligue 1. It's all set up for a cracking clash when they lock horns later on.
TEAM NEWS: Stefano Pioli has made six changes to the side which started Lazio's 2-1 win over Hellas Verona last weekend. Etrit Berisha, Wesley Hoedt, Stefan Radu, Ogenyi Onazi, Stefano Mauri and Balde Diao Keita all come into the first eleven for tonight's match.
TEAM NEWS: Christophe Galtier has made five alterations to the side which started Saint-Etienne's disappointing 4-1 defeat against Nice last Sunday. Moustapha Bayal Sall, Francois Clerc, Vincent Pajot, Benjamin Corgnet and Nolan Roux all get the chance to impress from the get-go.
Both sets of players are stripped and ready to go as they leave the tunnel and enter onto the field here inside the Stadio Olimpico. We are just moments away from seeing the action start in the Italian capital.
HALF-TIME: LAZIO 1-1 SAINT-ETIENNE
It's honours even here at the Stadio Olimpico as both sets of players trudge off the pitch and down the tunnel for the half-time interval. No doubt the biggest talking point of the first half was the referee's decision to send off Beric, which was incredibly harsh.
Sall was a fresh name on the teamsheet for the visitors tonight after sitting out of their 4-1 defeat to Nice last weekend, and he scored an early opener from a corner to pay back his manager's trust in him. But the Saint-Etienne defender's goal was cancelled out by Onazi, who drove home a well-taken finish from a Felipe Anderson cross minutes later.
FULL-TIME: LAZIO 3-2 SAINT-ETIENNE
Lazio scrape through thanks to Biglia's third but huge credit goes to Saint-Etienne, who kept on going despite having a two-man deficit after Beric and Sall both saw red for Les Verts.
Sall opened the scoring for Saint-Etienne before goals from Onazi and Hoedt, in between Beric's dismissal, had Lazio in front. Biglia thought he'd wrapped it up late on but Monnet-Pacquet set up a nervy few minutes with a looped finish.
That's all from me, Matthew Judge, and it has been a great pleasure talking you through all of tonight's action. We hope you can join us again very soon. Take care!
