Bayern are toying with Dortmund here in the dying seconds of the game. There's almost no resistance in the challenges from Die Schwarzegelben. The referee will do well to end this game as soon as possible.
87'
Coman once again squares up to Piszczek, but this time, the defender has his number and doesn't fall for the swift changes in direction. Time fast running out here at the Allianz Arena.
85'
Coman takes his time to fool Piszczek down the flank, but his low cross into the area isn't met with conviction by Lewandowski. It looks like Dortmund have completely given up here.
83'
J. Kimmich gets yellow.
PENALTY? The home fans are baying for blood after a challenge from Bender on Vidal. However, replays show that the midfielder got there just in time to make the challenge and prevent the attack.
81'
NOT A BAD TRY! Vidal has the step on the last defender but is running away from goal, and cuts back goalside, attempting to square to Lewandowski. However, Hummels makes the all-important interception!
80'
P. Aubameyang gets yellow.
K. Coman enters the game and replaces T. Müller.
79'
A card follows for Aubameyang on the next meaningful play as he goes in with a striker's challenge on Vidal. Soon after, Guardiola introduces Coman in place of Muller, who has had another prolific outing.
78'
J. Boateng gets yellow.
77'
Kimmich has been brought on for the man who replaced him in the starting lineup, Xabi Alonso. Moments later, Boateng gets carded for bringing down Aubameyang near the area, much to his chagrin.
Minute
Description
76'
J. Kimmich enters the game and replaces Xabi Alonso.
75'
Dortmund win a decent free-kick, but Reus fails to make anything of it. This is an incredibly demoralizing afternoon for them. Very little of what they've tried has come off against Bayern.
73'
Scrappy turn to the game in the last few minutes. Dortmund are becoming incredibly frustrated at the complete lack of control that they have over proceedings here. They're stepping in with some untidy challenges.
70'
SUPERB SAVE! Reus takes a ball on the turn tremendously, and races to the top of the box before laying it off to Mkhitaryan on the left. He shapes to slam one into the far corner, but Neuer, at full stretch, pushes it wide!
68'
A. Vidal enters the game and replaces Thiago Alcântara.
Arturo Vidal has entered the fray for Thiago, as Bayern continue to look capable of more goals. It's been a demolition in this second half. Like picking wings off a butterfly, as the saying goes.
66'
M. Götze has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by Thiago Alcântara.
IT'S FIVE FOR BAYERN! Gotze starts the move with a tricky run down the left, before laying the ball off the Thiago at the top of the box. The former Barca man runs into trouble, but Gotze is there to pick up the pieces, sliding the ball home from 15 yards!
64'
MKHITARYAN MISSES! A solid passing move from the visitors around the edge of the Bayern box sees Gundogan hoist the ball over the back line for Mkhitaryan, who is unmarked at the far post. He hits it first time on the volley, and should have made it count - but slashes it wide.
62'
CLEVER! Costa makes a decoy shimmy and then shifts inside of the full-back once again. He curls one to the back post, and Burki has to push it clear at full stretch! The Brazilian is growing into this game once more.
60'
Costa is faster on the ball than Piszczek off it. He cuts inside the full-back and launches a shot at goal, but it's right down the throat of Burki, who for once does something right and holds onto it.
58'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by M. Götze.
BAYERN ALL BUT WRAP THIS UP! Gotze atones for his shocking miss moments earlier by making his way to the byline and delivering the ball to the six-yard area, where Lewandowski is there to tap it in!
56'
NOT A BAD TRY! Piszczek finds some rare space to hoist a cross to the back post. Reus meets it with a neat volley and a solid connection, but his aim is off by a good few feet. Shame, because the technique was otherwise superb.
54'
Burki's judgement off his line has been awful. He's beaten by Muller once more, and isolated on the byline. Muller squares to Gotze at the back post but he fires it well over the top.
53'
A. Januzaj enters the game and replaces G. Castro.
M. Reus enters the game and replaces S. Kagawa.
52'
Substitutions time for the visiting side. Castro and Kagawa, who only impressed in fits and starts, both depart for Januzaj and Reus respectively. The German forward in particular should have probably started.
50'
Dortmund have a decent opportunity to make some headway as Gundogan frees Aubameyang down the right and continues his run into the box. However, the Gabonese can't place the ball beyond Boateng.
48'
Boateng has now registered two assists in this game for long balls out of the back. Dortmund conceded twice in very similar fashion - Tuchel must be fuming because those two goals, along with the penalty, were all avoidable.
46'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Boateng.
Here we go again!
STUNNING START TO THE HALF! BAYERN FURTHER AHEAD! Right from kickoff, Boateng punts the ball upfield and Lewandowski beats the defence to the punch, passing Burki and slotting home.
45' +1
And that will do it for the first half.
44'
Muller and Mkhitaryan have been the two key attackers for both teams. Their ability to drift into dangerous positions almost unnoticed has been the fulcrum upon which both attacks have been built. Of course, Bayern have had more auxiliary options in the first half.
42'
The match is starting to drop in intensity as we approach the half-time interval. Both managers will have plenty to ponder at the break. There's improvements that could be made on either side.
40'
It's been an untidy last two or three minutes, with both sides over-extending themselves on some of the passes they've tried to put together in the final third. An even game still.
38'
This game has suddenly burst into life. Bayern appeared to be home and dry, but Dortmund just gave everyone a reminder of what they're capable of. It's telling that the two goals that they have conceded were entirely of their own doing though.
37'
P. Aubameyang has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by G. Castro.
36'
THAT DIDN'T TAKE LONG! Dortmund finally execute to perfection on one of their breaks. No surprise to see Castro doing the damage down the right, as he breaks free and lines up a perfect ball to the back post for Aubameyang to slot into the net!
35'
Penalty goal scored by T. Müller for Bayern Munich!
NO MISTAKE FROM MULLER! He slots it to the left of Burki, with the goalkeeper diving the wrong way. It's 2-0 to Bayern!
34'
BAYERN HAVE A PENALTY! Mkhitaryan appeared to upend Thiago inside the area, and the referee didn't take too long to point to the spot. Now then, up steps Muller to make it two...
32'
Dortmund need to regain the intensity of the opening five or 10 minutes. Their passes are going astray, and the likes of Aubameyang and Kagawa are now being well-marked by the defence.
30'
That opener hasn't served to dampen the enthusiasm of the Bavarian giants. Suddenly, there's space for them to ping passes into, and their runs have more purpose and threat.
28'
It appears that Dortmund got caught out by the very strategy which they were hoping to employ against Bayern. Their players were committed too high up the field - although the lack of concentration from the defence was inexcusable.
26'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Boateng.
THERE'S THE OPENER! A classic Muller goal. His run catches the back four stranded at sea, and he just about beats the onrushing Burki to the ball at the top of the box. He then composes himself in time to slide the ball into an empty net! Hardly an aesthetic masterpiece, but it counts all the same!
23'
Costa gets into his stride and his ball into the area is too much for Burki to bring under his control. He lets it away from his grasp, but Piszczek cleans up. Bayern getting a little more purposeful.
21'
Mkhitaryan has adopted some really dangerous positions in this game and he's causing problems for the defence. He finds space once again, and tees up Gundogan for a shot which goes well wide of the target.
19'
Alonso then sums up Bayern's current lethargy with a terrible attempt to pounce on at Dortmund turnover, firing the ball well over the bar. The more Bayern continue to labour in the Dortmund half, they harder they'll get hit on the counter, I feel.
17'
Alonso hoists in a free kick to the back post that is headed clear. Bayern continue to plod away here, lacking any sort of thrust on the ball. Dortmund, meanwhile, have looked decent on the break.
15'
EXCELLENT MOVE! Mkhitaryan roasts Lahm down the right-hand side, and he has the pace and space to square the ball to Kagawa at the near post. However, Thiago, tracking back, is able to produce the interception.
13'
Costa has only made one decent run so far, with Dortmund well aware of the Brazilian's danger. He's been an assist machine since signing for Bayern, leaving his fingerprints all over a series of goals.
11'
Kagawa is caught offside, and Sokratis is forced to concede a corner soon after. Very even flow to this match so far. You get the feeling that Dortmund are trying to suck Bayern in to allow Aubameyang more space.
9'
Dortmund continue to play positively in the opposition half, but they are just given a little reminder by Bayern of the danger faced at the other end when Alaba's storming run is just about deflected away by Piszczek.
7'
Gundogan takes the set-piece but clangs it right into the wall. Still, Dortmund are coming into their own here, not showing fear against Bayern - one of the few teams that tend to do that.
5'
Mkhitaryan makes a solid break down the centre-left side of the pitch, and works the ball to Aubameyang. Alaba brings him down clumsily on the edge of the box, leading to a yellow and a great position.
4'
D. Alaba gets yellow.
3'
Lahm accepts a pass from Alonso out on the right, and hooks a decent cross into the six-yard area, but it's plonked away by the meaty head of Sokratis. Bayern just about on top early on.
1'
Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the marquee Bundesliga matchup between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. BVB are back in the title hunt under Thomas Tuchel, and face off against Pep Guardiola's juggernauts at the Allianz Arena. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action.
Bayern have been typically flawless in the Bundesliga this season. Seven wins from seven and a four-point lead at the summit - it's already hard to see them being caught. They've been perfect in Europe as well, winning their first two Champions League games.
However, if one side can cause the Bavarian giants trouble, it's Dortmund. Die Schwarzgelben are the only other team to remain unbeaten in the top flight - although two draws have seen them drop four points behind Bayern. It's not asinine to say that tonight's visitors are already facing a must-win game. A one or seven-point deficit beckons should they triumph or fall.
Bayern's 21 points and 20 goal difference set a record for the best-ever Bundesliga start after seven games. However, they have lost more home games against Dortmund than any other team (nine times). BVB have stuttered recently though, drawing their last three games in all competitions after 11 straight wins to kick off Tuchel's tenure.
Dortmund subs: Joo-Hoo Park, Ginter, Hofmann, Weidenfeller, Januzaj, Reus, Ramos.
Bayern beat Dinamo Zagreb 5-0 in Europe midweek, and the home side have made three changes from that victory. In comes Xabi Alonso, Javi Martinez and Thomas Muller, with Joshua Kimmich, Kingsley Coman and Juan Bernat stepping into the team.
Dortmund drew 1-1 with PAOK in Europa League action. From that game, Tuchel has switched things around quite significantly. The likes of Sokratis, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Shinji Kagawa have re-entered the fray, while Adnan Januzaj, Neven Subotic and most importantly, Marco Reus make way as part of the six alterations to the XI.
The referee sends both teams down the tunnel with Bayern holding a deserved 2-1 lead against Dortmund. Muller took advantage of a defensive breakdown to open the scoring for the home side, and doubled their advantage from the penalty spot after Mkhitaryan's foul. However, within seconds, Aubameyang drove Dortmund back to within one after excellent play from Castro. It's all set up nicely for the second half so do stay tuned.
Bayern run out impressive winners against Dortmund with a convincing 5-1 triumph. Three unanswered goals in the second half against the dispirited visitors has seen them extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points. Is is their title to lose already?
Keeghann Sinanan here, signing off. Hope you enjoyed this one. Take care.
