Three minutes of added time here. First of which presents another opportunity for Valbuena to whip in a dead ball, which eventually falls to Jallet, but unfortunately for the full-back he wasn't expecting it and it goes out of play.
89'
A. Ryazantsev enters the game and replaces Danny.
Danny comes off in the dying minutes of the game to a large applause. A fantastic game for the Zenit captain capped with a deserved goal following his performance.
87'
Corner for Zenit, but the supporters want a penalty as the ball appears to strike Yanga-Mbiwa's hand. Hulk with an opportunity to make it four but the defender gets himself in the way.
85'
Last five minutes now and this game is over as a contest. The scoreline may be a tad harsh on Lyon, who have played well, but they severely lack a cutting edge to do well in this tournament.
84'
Luís Neto enters the game and replaces Javi García.
83'
M. Cornet enters the game and replaces Rafael.
82'
Danny has scored a goal for Zenit! Assist by O. Shatov.
GOAL! Danny secures the win. Valbuena whipped in a corner at the other end of the field which launched a Zenit counter-attack. Both Danny and Shatov break the offside trap to combine for a very simple goal.
80'
C. Beauvue enters the game and replaces A. Lacazette.
CLOSE! Umtiti almost bettered Hulk's fantastic strike from earlier. The defender was far up the field and tried his luck from range but it was just an inch wide from flying into the top corner in emphatic fashion.
78'
Lyon have got a firm grip on this game now as we approach the final ten minutes. Lacazette almost charges through on goal after a neat one-two which eliminated Garay and Lombaerts from the play.
Minute
Description
75'
A. Yusupov enters the game and replaces A. Dzyuba.
Changes for Zenit as they look to take home the three points. Dzyuba makes way for Yusupov as the hosts look to be a tad more conservative in the last 15 minutes.
73'
Lacazette warms the palms of Kerzhakov as he turns a header towards the Russian goalkeeper, but it was never going to trouble the shot-stopper who has had a fairly comfortable evening.
71'
R. Ghezzal enters the game and replaces J. Ferri.
When Lyon are in possession it's neat passing, however it doesn't offer enough penetration. A draw in Russia isn't a great result for the French side given their point haul to date, so they really must get an equaliser soon if they want three.
69'
Dzyuba almost through on goal again, but this time Umtiti is there to beat him in a foot race to prevent him charging down on the Lyon goal for the second time in two minutes.
67'
IT SHOULD BE THREE! Poor defending leaves Dzyuba with an enormous amount of space following a nice pass from Danny, but as he attempts to lift the ball over Lopes his effort goes wide.
65'
STAT - Zenit haven't lost in four matches at home to French teams, although this is the first meeting between the two sides.
62'
Lyon chucking lots of numbers forward as they seek an equaliser. Most of their chances continuing to come down the right side of the pitch. Possibly not the best idea as Valbuena looks a creative spark in this game
60'
Possible penalty shout for Lyon as Rafael appears to be tripped up inside the box after a dazzling run, but the referee is having none of it and waves play on.
58'
This game being played at a franctic pace now. Jallet with a smart cross towards Lacazette, but his effort is just out of reach for the striker and the ball flashes past Kerzhakov's goal.
56'
Hulk has scored a goal for Zenit! Assist by A. Witsel.
GOAL! WHAT A FANTASTIC STRIKE. Hulk puts the home side back in front as he picks the ball up on the halfway line, shrugs off two tackles and shoots from range.
55'
Criscito fouls Rafael as the winger skips past him to allow Valbuena to cross another set-piece in. It's cleared by Lombaerts, but it only falls to Umtiti whose strike from range is blocked in the box.
53'
Corner for Lyon as Valbuena whips the ball into the box. It's met by Jallet, but it's blocked as it heads towards goal and cleared to safety for a Zenit counter.
51'
Javi García gets yellow.
S. Umtiti gets yellow.
Garcia and Umtiti booked following an altercation but it leaves Hulk with a free-kick in a dangerous position. However, his cross into the box is turned towards Lopes' net but it's merely catching practice.
49'
A. Lacazette has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by C. Jallet.
GOAL! A fantastic switch out to Jallet from Valbuena allows the defender to drill a cross into Lacazette who turns the ball goalbound with a deft touch to get Lyon back on level terms.
48'
CLOSE! Jallet almost equalises for the French side as he pushes up the right side and cuts inside to shoot. However, his effort is just wide of Kerzhakov's post.
46'
Rafael gets yellow.
Lyon get the second half underway!
44'
Half-time approaching and we're yet to see anything of much promise from Lyon since the goal. Fournier will be wanting much more creativity in the second half from his side.
42'
Tricky play from Valbuena cutting inside leads Zenit to believe he's going to shoot, but in fact he disguises a backheel to Morel who can then shoot from range, but his effort was always rising.
40'
Hulk with a real chance to craft something for Zenit, there. Breaking down the right side, the Brazilian winger is left with too much space but he opts to pass and it's cleared by Umtiti.
39'
M. Gonalons gets yellow.
38'
The ball is being knocked about by the two sides like a pinball! Not one team is truly controlling this game as they take it in turns to attack, yet still neither Lopes or Kerzhakov have been tested.
35'
A neat spell of possession from Lyon where they knock the ball around the Zenit box ends in Ferri trying his luck from range, unfortunately for the away side his effort is well over the crossbar.
33'
Zenit back in control of the ball now as Garay and Lombaerts continue to shift the ball across the back. However, a stray touch in midfield means Lyon can break and Jallet wins the visitors a corner.
30'
And another chance for Zenit! This game has burst into life. Hulk tries his luck with a powerful left-footed strike from the edge of the area and Lopes reacts superbly to tip the ball over the bar. The resulting corner leads to more danger for Lyon, but Lopes mops up.
28'
Lyon earn some much-needed respite with a spell of possession, which ends with Valbuena writhing in pain following a firm challenge. The midfielder is able to continue after a brief spell of treatment.
26'
And now the hosts threaten again. An effort from Danny inside the area is blocked and the ball then breaks to Witsel, who fails to hit the target.
24'
ZENIT SHOULD BE TWO AHEAD!!! Hulk finds Dzyuba in the box with a delicate pass, but the latter slips as he shoots and sends his effort high over the crossbar. Lyon were exposed there.
21'
No real chances at the Petrovsky Stadium for either team since the goal. Both sides struggling to penetrate one another as they're both wary the next score could impact the match massively.
18'
Zenit are happy to sit back and absorb some of the pressure in order to present opportunities to counter after acquiring an early lead. With how they're set-up, Hulk, Danny and Shatov are able to flourish when on the break.
16'
Jallet again skipping up the right side of the pitch, but as he manages to find Rafael his audacious pass is unable to reach Lacazette as it's not weighted correctly.
14'
Lyon are starting to press the hosts more now. Ferri appearing to pull a lot of the creative strings from midfield, but it's clear the French side do miss Fekir who is out with injury.
12'
Corner for Lyon as they attack down the right flank. Not the first time the away side have had a bit of fortune down Criscito's side of the pitch, so expect to see more of it.
10'
Zenit the better side in the early stages here, but Lyon certainly seem as if they pose a threat to the hosts. The pace of Valbuena already looks as if it could be an issue tonight.
8'
Another lapse in concentration at the back means Dzyuba almost finds himself in behind the Lyon defence again, but this time Yanga-Mbiwa is able to sweep up the danger.
6'
Valbuena wins a free-kick for the hosts in a dangerous position and Hulk picks up the first yellow card of the evening. Driving at the defence from midfield, the diminutive winger is dragged to the ground.
5'
Hulk gets yellow.
4'
Danny wins a corner for Zenit attacking down the right-hand side. Hulk whips the ball in, but it doesn't make it past the near post and the Russians are forced to reset.
2'
A. Dzyuba has scored a goal for Zenit! Assist by O. Shatov.
GOAL! What a start for the hosts! Only two minutes on the clock and Zenit lead. A mistake from Jallet means Dzyuba is able to be put through on goal and he slots the ball calmly around Lopes in the Lyon goal.

It's Zenit who get us underway!
Hello and welcome to the live text commentary of this Champions League fixture between Zenit St. Petersburg and Olympique Lyonnais. I'm Lucas Swain, and I'll be guiding you through all the action as it happens at the Petrovsky Stadium.
Andre Villas-Boas is trying to secure qualification out of this group as soon as possible, so when Lyon visit, who are currently winless, it presents a wonderful opportunity for Zenit to maintain their 100 percent record they have in the Champions League this season.
Meanwhile, Hubert Fournier has described tonight's match as a last opportunity, because if they fail to pick-up their first win here they're going to struggle to qualify for anything past the Europa League. Coming off the back of a 1-1 draw with Monaco, sixth place Lyon don't come into tonight's match in form.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS
Fournier also opts for two changes to his team, with Ferri coming into midfield and Morel starting at left-back, despite also being listed as a doubt before the match.
Villas-Boas has decided to implement two changes to his side that gained a 2-2 draw with Kuban Krasnodar. Criscito, who was labelled as a doubt for this match, makes it into the starting eleven and so does Garay who was rested last weekend in preparation for tonight's game.
Just five more minutes until this Champions League clash is underway! The fans are in the stands, the atmosphere is building and the players are getting ready in the tunnel.
Fournier will be looking for a good start to the second half to save their Champions League campaign. Possibly a change to personnel or formation to rectify their lack of creativity.
Full time here and Villas-Boas and his men celebrate a perfect record after three games in the Champions League. A good performances from the Russians, but ultimately it was their skill in front of goal that won them the game.
Thanks for joining us for this live text commentary of the Champions League between Zenit and Lyon. I've been Lucas Swain, and it's goodbye from me until next time!
