FULL-TIME: And that will be that! Lech Poznan have their victory and Group I is now wide open!
90' +4
BABACAR SPURNS FIORENTINA'S LAST CHANCE. The forward is picked out by a right-wing cross but cannot quite rise high enough to get over the ball as he heads over from a few yards.
90' +3
One more minute to go. Surely Lech aren't going to be denied victory?
90' +2
Ł. Trałka gets yellow.
REBIC SEES RED!!! And he can have few complaints! The right-winger clatters Formella long after the ball had gone and is dismissed! This is certainly a dramatic end to proceedings.
90' +1
A. Rebić goes off after a red card!
Fiorentina have four minutes to rescue an unlikely point ... and they almost pull level straight away as Rossi charges down a Buric clearance, only for the ball to roll wide.
90'
G. Rossi has scored a goal for Fiorentina! Assist by M. Fernández.
A LATE LIFELINE FOR FIORENTINA!! Rossi strokes home a left-wing cross from Fernandez in the final minute of normal time!
88'
Half-hearted appeals for a Fiorentina penalty are waved away as Rossi tumbles on the turn inside the box.
87'
The latest home attack comes to nothing as Lech scramble the ball clear. I wonder if Sousa regrets making so many changes ahead of the Roma match on Sunday?
84'
Fiorentina appear stunned. Lech have been put under pressure for the majority of this match, but are set for three points thanks to goals from two men within minutes of their respective introductions!
82'
M. Gajos has scored a goal for Lech Poznań! Assist by M. Kamiński.
2-0 LECH!!! ANOTHER SUBSTITUTE MAKES AN INSTANT IMPACT!! Goodness me - what a night the Lech coach is having. A deep free-kick is diverted back across goal by Kaminski and Gajos, the man who replaced Kownacki, tucks the ball into the bottom-right corner! Surely that's game over!!
Minute
Description
80'
BURIC TO THE RESCUE AGAIN FOR LECH!! Fernandez cuts the ball back from the byline and the goalkeeper uses his right boot to keep out Ilicic's first-time shot.
78'
An interesting evening for Kownacki then! I'm not sure if he has picked up an injury, but he did not look too impressed at being replaced, which is hardly surprising!
77'
M. Gajos enters the game and replaces D. Kownacki.
We have our final substitution, Kownacki, having scored the only goal almost immediately after coming on, is now withdrawn, with Gajos taking over.
75'
ALMOST A LEVELLER!!! Buric parries a long-range strike from Vecino and another replacement, Bernardeschi, drags the follow-up wide from a tight angle.
73'
J. Iličić enters the game and replaces Mario Suárez.
Another free-kick for Fernandez then and this one flies across the face of the six-yard box, taking a touch off a Lech man on its way. Fiorentina's final change sees Ilicic replace Mario Suarez.
72'
As you would expect, there is a greater intensity to Fiorentina's work since they fell behind. Bernardeschi, introduced in place of Pasqual, is hacked down by Lovrencsics on the left, earning the Lech man a yellow card.
71'
G. Lovrencsics gets yellow.
70'
Group I is certainly not proving predictable this evening. Belenenses continue to lead in Basel and Fiorentina have 20 minutes to overturn a 1-0 deficit against the team propping up Poland's Ekstraklasa!
69'
Buric fists away a corner at his near post and, after dealing less convincingly with the next cross, is then relieved to see a goalbound shot from Rossi blocked.
68'
F. Bernardeschi enters the game and replaces M. Pasqual.
K. Hämäläinen enters the game and replaces D. Holman.
67'
That's Lech's first goal in the Europa League this season and it has stunned the majority of those in attendance at Stadio Artemio Franchi. Time for another change now, with Hamalainen coming on for Holman.
65'
D. Kownacki has scored a goal for Lech Poznań! Assist by G. Lovrencsics.
M. Vecino enters the game and replaces Joan Verdú.
LECH TAKE A SHOCK LEAD!!!! AND IT'S THE SUBSTITUTE KOWNACKI!! A Fiorentina change, which sees Vecino replace Verdu, is followed immediately by the opening goal. Lech break down the right and a low cross is bundled in from Kownacki with the aid of a deflection!
63'
D. Kownacki enters the game and replaces D. Thomalla.
Lech are the first to make a change, introducing Kownacki in place of Thomalla, who appeared to injure himself moments ago when blocking a shot.
62'
That's as close as Fiorentina have come to breaking the deadlock so far. Buric shows good anticipation to halt the next attack, moving swiftly from his line to collect a lofted ball forward.
60'
BURIC KEEPS THE SCORE LEVEL!! Babacar fires in a shot with his right foot from around 12 yards, but Lech's goalkeeper gets down low to his left to beat the effort away.
59'
STAT ATTACK - Fiorentina have won each of their two previous games against Polish opponents by a two-goal margin. Widzew Lodz were beaten in both legs of a Champions League qualifying tie in 1999.
57'
Lech are briefly exposed on their right flank, but Verdu is unable to find his overlapping team-mate and Fiorentina's attack comes to nothing. Rebic then goes on a dash down the opposite wing, but again the end product is missing.
55'
Lech give away a free-kick 30 yards out and Fernandez appears unsurprisingly keen to take it. However, the Chilean's effort is poor and Buric is able to watch the ball drift past his left-hand post.
53'
Babacar is unhappy after being hurt in a 50-50 challenge with Holman. I don't think there was any intent there from the Lech man and Babacar is soon back to his feet.
52'
While Sunday's meeting with Roma is clearly Fiorentina's priority this week, I imagine it might not be long before Sousa looks to his bench. Lech are enjoying their best spell of the match and appear to be growing in confidence.
51'
More signs of encouragement for Lech as a dangerous right-wing cross is headed away, although the flag was up for offside. At the other end, Rossi looks astonished to be penalised for a foul on Dudka.
49'
Tralka is played in down the Lech left, but his cross is comfortably taken by Sepe at the goalkeeper's near post. On their occasional forays into Fiorentina territory, the visitors have done enough to suggest a goal is not beyond them.
47'
Fiorentina begin the second half as they did the first, committing men forward and penning Lech back inside their own half.
46'
The action resumes in Florence. Can Paulo Sousa's side raise their level and find a way past their stubborn opponents?
45'
Rebic can consider himself very fortunate not to have been booked for a late challenge on Tetteh. That was needless. The referee plays a whole four seconds of stoppage time before deciding enough is enough. It's half-time.
44'
The ball is switched quickly from right to left and Pasqual swings in a flat cross that Buric opts to punch clear. Despite having over 60 per cent of possession, Viola have not threatened the goal regularly enough thus far.
43'
Fiorentina again carve out a promising position, only to be let down by a final ball lacking the required quality. It looks as though Lech will make it through to the interval unscathed.
41'
Lech's best move of the match ends in disappointing fashion, Lovrencsics cutting in from the right before putting in a wayward shot.
40'
Rebic is seeing plenty of the ball and his latest cross is put behind by Lovrencsics for the first of two corners in quick succession. The second delivery is right under Buric's nose and the goalkeeper is fouled by Mario Suarez.
38'
Fiorentina respond and central defender Kadar's excellent clearing header is a welcome intervention for the visitors as Babacar threatens to connect with a Pasqual cross. Buric came flying out of his goal to punch the ball clear, but was beaten to it.
36'
Lech win a corner of their own, their first, following an encouraging move. Tralka rises high to meet an outswinging delivery, but his header flies high over the bar.
34'
Back to the usual pattern of Fiorentina attacking and Buric is alert enough to prevent Rebic from getting on the end of a return pass. The visiting goalkeeper then claims a cross from Rebic and Lech remain on level terms.
32'
Dear oh dear! Having been set free down the left, Joan Verdu attempts to chip Buric and gets it all wrong, his weak effort barely reaching the goalkeeper. Lech then enjoy a rare attack and a right-wing cross comes close to picking out Thomalla.
30'
Rebic delivers a fine cross from the right, just beyond the reach of Babacar. Fernandez then tries his luck from distance, yet the Chilean does not make clean contact and the ball bobbles harmlessly wide.
29'
Lech are struggling to make it out of their own half at the moment, but goalkeeper Buric has remained relatively under-worked. Fiorentina are in need of more quality in the final third.
26'
Another chance for Fiorentina to move ahead as Fernandez stands over a free-kick six yards from the byline on the right flank. His delivery fails to beat the first man, though, and Pasqual lashes a shot high and wide when the ball breaks to the skipper.
25'
Babacar looks as likely as anyone to break the deadlock at present. He controls a ball forward on his chest before dragging a shot wide on the turn from 25 yards.
23'
This time Babacar makes headway down the right, only for Lech to recover. The pressure is building as good work from Rebic and Fernandez culminates in the latter crossing for Babacar, but he cannot generate any power with his header.
21'
Fiorentina break at pace from inside their own half, but Rossi's final pass is overhit and allows Buric to beat Babacar to the ball. Sousa's men really should have capitalised on that opportunity, which was created by an initial surge forward from Rebic.
20'
Buric paws the ball away at the back post and is then awarded a free-kick following an apparent infringement by the home team. Lech will be pleased to have made it through 20 minutes without conceding, but they still have an awful long way to go here.
19'
Rossi shows brilliant footwork to work some space on the left side of the Lech area. His subsequent cross is cleared behind and Fiorentina have a corner.
17'
BABACAR GOES CLOSE!!! But the forward was offside as he diverted a left-wing cross narrowly over the crossbar, so that would not have counted.
13'
Fiorentina's defenders are being given plenty of time on the ball as Lech sit off and retain their shape.
Lech will be pleased with their start, given that they are holding out against a very in-form side at the moment. Fiorentina may have rotated their personnel heavily, ahead of an important domestic fixture that is approaching, but the Polish visitors aren't simply rolling over in Florence.
11'
Lech are unable to make the most of the set-piece and are soon lined up in two solid banks of four once again. However, the early threat from the hosts does seem to have faded and that will give Urban's men confidence.
9'
A high boot from Babacar gives Lech some respite, the referee blowing his whistle after Kaminski leaned forward for a header and almost took a size 10 in the face for his trouble. Fiorentina are then forced onto the back foot for the first time and Rebic is penalised for a foul near the touchline.
7'
The underdogs have every player back inside their own half as Viola probe in search of an opening. Rossi picks the ball up in space 25 yards from goal, but a poor touch sees him dispossessed. It is not long before Fiorentina have the ball back, however. They are in control here.
5'
Goalkeeper Buric made a real hash of that free-kick as he weakly parried the ball away. Lech are soon under pressure again following a brief foray into Fiorentina territory.
3'
Fernandez delivers the set-piece and we almost have an early opener, with Lech eventually smuggling the ball away at the third attempt following some unconvincing initial defending.
2'
I feel the pattern for the game may already have been set. Fiorentina are straight onto the attack and win a free-kick in a dangerous position on the right when Tetteh brings down Fernandez.
1'
The visitors, who have only named six substitutes, get us started.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE text commentary on the UEFA Europa League Group I clash between Fiorentina and Lech Poznan. This match brings together two teams who have experienced contrasting seasons to date. Fiorentina are flying high at the top of Serie A, but Lech have only managed one league win so far this term and sit bottom of the Polish Ekstraklasa. You will not find many people expecting an away win at Stadio Artemio Franchi today.
Paulo Sousa's side face Roma on Sunday in a top-versus-second fixture in Serie A, so it is no surprise to see a much-changed Fiorentina team this evening. Lech, meanwhile, have a new man in charge. Jan Urban has replaced Maciej Skorza following their miserable start to the campaign. Let's take a look at the teams in full.
Sousa makes nine changes to the Fiorentina side beaten 2-1 by Napoli at the weekend, with defenders Nenad Tomovic and Davide Astori the only players retained. Prior to that defeat, Viola had registered five wins in succession. There are multiple alterations to the Lech team, also - with only five survivors from Saturday's 2-2 home draw with Ruch Chorzow.
Lech have yet to score in the Europa League this season, their only point thus far coming from a 0-0 draw with Belenenses. Fiorentina thrashed the Portuguese outfit 4-0 last time out in this competition, having been beaten by group leaders Basel on matchday one.
We are almost ready to go at Stadio Artemio Franchi. Can Lech spring a surprise? It is time to find out.
Basel will be expected to get the better of Belenenses in today's other Group I fixture ... and wins for the Swiss side and Fiorentina would leave both teams firmly on course for a place in the knockout stages. Viola reached the semi-finals of the Europa League last term, of course, before being well beaten over two legs by eventual winners Sevilla.
It would be fair to say this has not been a classic up to now. Fiorentina have dominated possession and territory, but will need to find a cutting edge if they are to claim three points.
If Fiorentina's failure to make a breakthrough is surprising, we certainly have a potential shock on our hands in Group I's other fixture. Belenenses are 2-1 up at Basel!
A remarkable evening in Florence saw Lech strike twice on the counter, through players who had both only just entered the field. Kownacki made it 1-0 within two minutes of his introduction, before his replacement, Gajos, added a second four minutes after coming on. Fiorentina replied through Rossi late on, but could not find an equaliser.
And with Belenenses beating Basel 2-1, Fiorentina now find themselves at the foot of their group - hardly an ideal scenario ahead of their Serie A clash with Roma on Sunday. That's all we have time for, anyway. Thanks for joining us tonight!
