B. Cristante enters the game and replaces Talisca.
90' +2
THE MOST SHOCKING MISS YOU WILL EVER SEE! Bulut is sprung through and forces Cesar into a save at the near post. The rebound falls perfectly for Oztekin, but he sends his shot over the bar! He had an open net to shoot at with Cesar parried!!!
90'
There will be four minutes added on at the end of this match.
89'
It's so open now as Galatasaray send everyone forward in search of an equaliser, while Benfica remain stretched as they're still throwing men ahead on the counter. They need to settle down and camp out in defence, because Gala have the quality going forward to make the most of these spaces.
87'
Gaitan is hardly thrilled with the decision and he has ever reason to be upset, not for the second yellow, but the first. His original booking was for dissent, protesting to the referee after Yilmaz escaped what should have been a clear sending off. Nonetheless the decision has been made and Galatasaray have been given a glimmer of hope!
85'
N. Gaitán gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
BENFICA DOWN TO 10 MEN! Not much choice for the referee here as Gaitan tugs down Colak from behind as tired legs set in - and that's his second booking of the match! It's a disastrous end to what was such an impressive display from the Argentine this evening.
84'
EXCEPTIONAL SAVE FROM MUSLERA! Brilliant passage of play from Benfica who counter with real pace through Gaitan. The Argentine cuts into the centre and sends a back-heel into the path of Jimenez, but the striker is denied by Muslera from point-blank range!
83'
NEARLY THE DAGGER! Carcela-Gonzalez shows his pace with a penetrating run down the right. He has options in the centre and rolls a good ball through intended for Jimenez, but Adin does well to recover and intercept.
82'
The tempo has fizzled out a great deal, with the substitutions and stoppages really taking the sting out of the match. It certainly works in the favour of Benfica, who are patiently passing the ball around at the back as they try and see this through to the final whistle.
Minute
Description
81'
Pizzi enters the game and replaces Jonas.
80'
JUST WIDE! Bulut tries to make an immediate impact, already doing more than Yilmaz had managed, rising well to meet a cross but sending a header just wide of the post. Encouraging sign for Galatasaray.
78'
Back in front are the hosts and they are doing much better playing with the lead this time around. Galatasaray reverted right back to defence after pulling level and they have been made to pay for their negative approach. Benfica look very comfortable at the moment.
76'
STAT ATTACK: Only once in their last seven Champions League campaigns have Benfica managed to advance to the knockout stage, in 2011/12 when they lost to Chelsea in the quarter-finals.
74'
U. Bulut enters the game and replaces B. Yılmaz.
E. Çolak enters the game and replaces J. Denayer.
Double switch for Galatasaray, who have now used up all three of their alotted substitutions. Yilmaz, who should have been sent off in the first half, is replaced alongside Denayer, with Umut Bulut and Emre Colak coming on.
73'
M. Carcela-González enters the game and replaces Gonçalo Guedes.
A first change for Benfica as Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez makes his first Champions League appearance of the season, replacing Guedes.
72'
DOUBLE SAVE FROM MUSLERA! Gaitan sneaks his free kick under the wall brilliantly, but the keeper dives across to keep it out, before then denying Jimenez on the follow up! Terrific from Muslera who has kept them in it here!
71'
Dreadful challenge! Balta never had a chance of winning the ball there as he goes right through the back of Jardel at the very edge of the area, with the centre-half doing well to shield the ball off. It's clumsy from the Galatasaray defender as it presents Benfica with a real chance to add to their lead.
69'
Y. Öztekin enters the game and replaces B. Kısa.
Kisa sees his night end early, unable to contribute defensively as well as Hamzaoglu would have liked. On in his place is Yazin Oztekin, who was in the starting XI who beat Benfica last time out.
67'
Luisão has scored a goal for Benfica! Assist by R. Jiménez.
A FINISH OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY FROM THE CENTRE-HALF! Galatasaray fail to clear their lines following a corner kick, allowing Jimenez to float a ball back into the centre for Luisao. The defender does brilliantly to pluck it out of his feet and cannon it into the top corner!
66'
STINGING DRIVE FROM TALISCA! Stunning strike from the midfielder! Great technique shown from him as he latches onto a bouncing ball 30-yards out and sends a venomous half-volley at goal, veering just wide of the near post.
64'
The crowd has been quieted a great deal. There's something about this Galatasaray team, who seems to have Benfica figured out. The Eagles took the lead in the first match as well before going on to lose after an impressive turnaround from the Turkish outfit - and they're in danger of seeing the same thing happening here again!
62'
What a turn of events in Portugal after a chaotic six-minute spell. Benfica finally took the lead and appeared to be in complete control. Inan was booked and Galatasaray seemed to be both discouraged and frustrated at how the second half was playing out, when a rare moment of quality in attack - out of nothing, really - has pulled them right back into the match!
60'
STAT ATTACK: Galatasaray are without a win in their last nine Champions League matches away from home, conceding 24 goals over that span (D2, L7).
58'
Ł. Podolski has scored a goal for Galatasaray! Assist by B. Kısa.
GALATASARAY RESTORE PARITY! After being so quiet for the first 57 minutes, Podolski makes his first contribution of the night and it's a massive one! Sneijder's ball into the area is teed up for the German who smashes a left-footed strike into the far corner. It's a vintage strike from Podolski!
56'
Sílvio gets yellow.
The hosts are up in arms as Silvio goes into the book, despite not making any contact with Sarioglu. The Galatasaray player made a real hash of that, going down theatrically behind the play and again the referee buys into the reaction.
54'
S. İnan gets yellow.
Inan goes into the book for a cynical challenge on Jonas and that means he will miss the next match as well! Galatasaray are beginning to fall apart at the seams, now without their skipper and striker for the trip to Spain.
52'
Jonas has scored a goal for Benfica! Assist by Luisão.
BENFICA HAVE THEIR BREAKTHROUGH AT LAST! They've been the ones to push the pace throughout and are finally rewarded for their desire. The ball into the area is placed at the feet of Luisao. His shot is block, but it falls kindly for Jonas who cannons the ball into the back of the net from six-yards out!
50'
INVITING FROM JIMENEZ! He makes a good diagonal run and is spotted on the right by Talisca. He produces a fine first touch than an equally impressive ball into the area, which Gaitan just fails to get on the end of it.
48'
Straight from the restart Benfica set up camp in the attacking half. Talisca starts another threatening move, threading an inviting ball through for Gaitan on the left, but the Argentine fails to pick out Jimenez with hit cutback - a rare missed pass from him tonight.
46'
Back underway at the Estadio da Luz!
45'
HALF TIME!
44'
N. Gaitán gets yellow.
GALA ESCAPE DISASTER! Yilmaz is penalised for a shocking handball in the attacking half, and there's no explaining just what was going through his head there. He's already on a yellow and is incredibly lucky not to be sent off here, with Gaitan instead going in the book for dissent as he furiously protested to the referee.
43'
Yilmaz atones for his error as he shows good determination to win a 50-50 ball near the halfway line, which forces Guedes to catch him with a high boot. The teenager becomes the third player booked in this first half.
42'
Gonçalo Guedes gets yellow.
41'
B. Yılmaz gets yellow.
Silly from Yilmaz as he concedes an unnecessary free kick on Almeida which sees him unquestionably into the referee's book. The yellow card means he will be suspended for the next match, an date with Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon.
39'
For all their bark, Benfica have yet to bite. They've been largely teasing with their entertaining, high-flying football, unable to produce a breakthrough. Galatasaray can't rest on their laurels as it would be a big confidence boost for them should they see this through to halftime with no goals conceded.
37'
Galatasaray don't really have a player to linkup play for them and it's plagued their ability to transition into attack. Yilmaz isn't dropping deep enough to get on the ball, while Sneijder has been forced deeper than he would have liked with Benfica pressing. There's a large gap between the two and that needs to change if they are to have any success.
35'
Pressure building again from Benfica, but this time they are the beneficiaries of an incorrect decision from the referee. Sneijder sticks his leg through the back of Guedes, but makes contact only with the ball. The teenager sees the chance has gone and goes to ground, winning a free kick for his side from 25-yards out.
33'
STAT ATTACK: A 2-0 defeat to Galatasaray in the 2008 UEFA Cup is the lone blemish on an otherwise perfect record for Benfica when hosting Turkish opposition, winning the other four by a combined score of 16-1.
31'
André Almeida gets yellow.
Andre Almeida is the first name into the book for a tug in the shirt of Kisa, but there was very little in it. The Galatasaray midfielder was hardly contacted before making a meal of the challenge, and he's done well to pull the wool over the referee's eyes.
29'
PENALTY APPEALS DENIED! A rare spell in the other end as Galatasaray venture forward looking for a breakthrough. Inan sees a shot blocked by the arm of Jimenez, but the referee waves away claims straight away! It does appear to be the right decision as the striker did everything he could to pull his arm close to his body and out of the way.
27'
Benfica need to make all this pressure pay off. The longer they let Galatasaray hang in there, the more dangerous their position becomes. The visitors have been carved apart in defence yet they have managed to weather the storm so far, and it's only a matter of time before they wake up in attack you would have to imagine.
25'
Where's the control?! Gaitan is doing so well to find little pockets of space, and every time he gets the ball he's able to pick out a threatening pass. He has so many willing runners around him as well, this time Guedes is the beneficiary, but the teenager fails to control a near perfect pass inside the area as the chance goes begging.
23'
END TO END STUFF! Incredible passage of play as both teams threaten with real pace on the counter! Luisao is able to block Podolski's effort at one end, while Jonas' strike at the other isn't enough to test Muslera despite a promising buildup.
21'
STAT ATTACK: Galatasaray have not kept a clean sheet on their travels in the Champions League since August 2003 against CSKA Sofia. This dubious streak has reached 21 games in the competition (W3, D4, L14).
19'
Gaitan is running rampant through the opening 20 minutes. He's got a real level of class to his play every time he gets on the ball. He picks out Jonas atop the area and some clever footwork from the Brazilian allows him to poke a shot through on goal, but it's a routine stop in the end from Muslera.
17'
This has been a delightful start from Benfica, appearing in complete control and full of desire. Talisca and Gaitan are the architects in midfield, both of which have been incredibly bright in possession. Galatasaray are in trouble at the moment and could find themselves behind sooner than later if they aren't careful.
15'
Comfortable in the end from Muslera, but terrific buildup play from the hosts yet again! The interplay atop the area, with Gaitan the catalyst, is top notch. The Argentine plays Guedes through via the left channel, but he opts to try and chip Muslera who is wise to it.
13'
Not a bad hit! Full of confidence is 18-year-old Goncalo Guedes, taking a pass in the final third and always looking at goal. He tries his luck from range and gets excellent power behind his shot, but it doesn't dip in time as it lifts just over the bar.
11'
Silvio loves to bomb forward from right-back and he issues an early warning of his pace to Adin, who is forced to concede a free kick. Talisca takes, with plenty of bodies in the centre, but his delivery is extremely poor as Galatasaray clear with ease.
9'
STAT ATTACK: Benfica fell 3-0 to Sporting in their last home match, ending their 55-match unbeaten home run in the league. It was the largest defeat they have suffered at the Estadio da Luz since losing by the same scoreline against Academica in April 2008.
7'
NEAR DISASTER! An errant pass out from Muslera put his side under unnecessary pressure, but he rectifies the situation with an impressive save to deny Jimenez from in close, before the follow-up from Gaitan is lifted over the bar.
5'
EXCEPTIONAL BIT OF SKILL! Nicolas Gaitan gets the crowd going with a dazzling piece of dribbling down the left! He skips past Denayer with a clever change of direction, then a 360 spin sees him by Chedjou, but his effort is blocked behind by Balta.
3'
Exciting start to the match as the two teams adopt a lively tempo from the start! The two sides exchange attacks, though neither result in an effort at goal. If these early minutes are any indication, both teams are going for it this evening!

Underway in Portugal with top spot in Group C on the line!
Hello and welcome to Portugal for another lovely evening of Champions League football! The Estadio da Luz is our venue today as Benfica look to reclaim top spot in Group C while seeking revenge for the loss to Galatasaray in Turkey on matchday three. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
Benfica can vault themselves back ahead of Atletico, who drew earlier today in Kazakhstan, with any sort of result from tonight's match. They would put themselves within a point of qualifying with a win here, while they also need it to restore pride after a humiliating defeat at the hands of their Lisbon rivals in their last home match - a side now coached by their former boss Jorge Jesus.
Galatasaray are rounding into form and looking capable of making it past the group stage. They would claim top spot in the group by replicating the result from the reverse fixture against Benfica, while a draw would pull them to within a point of Atletico for second spot. A draw away to rivals Fenerbahce two weeks ago was followed up by their biggest win of the season on Thursday over Eskisehirspor, as Cimbom are starting to fire on all cylinders ahead of this massive Group C fixture.
Just a solitary change from Rui Vitoria from the team he put out in Turkey. Andreas Samaris misses out through suspension, replaced in midfield by Talisca. Raul Jimenez starts alone up top this time, however, with Jonas dropping into the number 10 role. Luisao and Jardel are a booking away from incurring one-match bans.
Three changes for the visitors, with coach Hamza Hamzaoglu opting not to keep his team the same despite their victory over Benfica last time out. The injured Lionel Carole is replaced by Manchester City loanee Jason Denayer, while Olcan Adin is preferred on the wing to Yasin Oztekin. Up top it is Burak Yilmaz who reclaims his spot after Umut Bulut started the reverse fixture in Turkey.
BENFICA 0-0 GALATASARAY. A thrilling opening 45 minutes at the Estadio da Luz come to an end, with the match remaining scoreless into the interval. There are plenty of talking points, including the play of Gaitan, the inability for Benfica to convert their pressure into goals and the referee's decision to allow Yilmaz to stay on the pitch. Everything still to play for between these two sides in the second half.
BENFICA 2-1 GALATASARAY. The Eagles move into top spot in Group C courtesy of skipper Luisao's winner, seeing the game out with 10-men. Jonas' opener was cancelled out by Podolski's equaliser, but Benfica were not to be denied on the night.
Benfica travel to Kazakhstan on the next match-day to take on Astana, while Galatasaray have a date with Atletico at the Vicente Calderon. I am Alex Moretto and I would like to thank you all for joining me here today. Good bye!
