FULL TIME! That's it! Gent have taken the win here tonight with a deserved 1-0 victory over Valencia!
90' +3
K. Coulibaly enters the game and replaces B. Dejaegere.
90' +2
SUBSTITUTION! Coulibaly is on for Dejaegere who comes off injured for Gent.
90'
Four minutes of added time have been given to end this half as Valencia look to find an equaliser.
87'
Depoitre is making himself a real nuisance in the final third in the dying minutes of this game. He wins a corner with some strong hold-up play before breaking up play again a minute later after forcing Valencia into a foul in their defensive third.
85'
Rafinha enters the game and replaces B. Raman.
E. Pérez gets yellow.
Perez concedes a free-kick in a decent crossing position for Gent, and is booked in the process, before Mustafi heads the resulting delivery clear.
83'
SUBSTITUTION! Raman is not a happy man here as the substitute is being taken off. Rafinha comes on in his place with Raman already on a yellow and coming close to a second.
80'
CHANCE! Alcacer has his first effort on goal and it forces Sels into a smart save at his near post. He might have been wise to play the ball across goal with numbers in the middle to aim for but, from a tight angle, he takes the shot on himself, forcing Sels to punch the ball out for a corner.
79'
Piatti swings in a corner from the left with Santos the target in the middle. The ball drops down but he cannot get it out of his feet to take the shot, allowing Gent to clear.
77'
GOAL FLASH! Zenit are in a comfortable position against Lyon in the other fixture from Group H tonight. Artem Dzyuba has put Zenit 2-0 up and Maxime Gonalons has just been dismissed for a second bookable offence. A missed opportunity for Valencia you feel if they do not win this one - a win which would have guaranteed qualification.
Minute
Description
75'
That could have been a decent moment for Gent there as Foket looks to latch onto a loose ball near the half-way line, with a high Valencia defensive line exposed to the counter attack. But the ball is just a little too far ahead of him and he fails to stop it from rolling out of play for a throw-in.
73'
B. Raman gets yellow.
Another booking now from that resulting free-kick as a long ball forward from Gent drops straight out to the Valencia defence. Raman lunges into a tackle near the half-way line in an attempt to win it back but concedes a foul.
72'
André Gomes gets yellow.
Milicevic draws a yellow card from Gomes as Gent have a free-kick in their own half, which Sels will take.
70'
João Cancelo enters the game and replaces S. Féghouli.
69'
SUBSTITUTION! Feghouli is withdrawn by Valencia with Cancelo taking his place with just over 20 minutes left to impact this game.
67'
CHANCE! Gaya tries to lift the ball into the box with a half-hearted cross which is cleared by Asare. Valencia pick up the loose ball and play it straight back into the area where Piatti strikes at the back post, forcing Sels into a corner with a smart save.
64'
The game is a little more open now with Gent far less dominant than they were in the first-half. Feghouli looks to drive his side forward with a break into the box but the Valencia man is crowed out before the hosts clear.
63'
André Gomes enters the game and replaces Javi Fuego.
62'
SUBSTITUTION! Gomes comes on for Fuego in a second change for Valencia as they look to draw level in this game.
61'
S. Mustafi gets yellow.
60'
Mustafi is down injured after he comes out of a 50-50 challenge worse off, picking up a yellow card in the process.
58'
That could have been a chance for Gent! They break in numbers through the middle and play the ball from right to left across to Milicevic, darting into the area. He attempts to play it across goal but his delivery is too close to the keeper as Domenech saves.
56'
CHANCE! A decent hit from Parejo from the free-kick! Valencia have the set-piece in a dangerous position with the midfielder stepping up to take it. He lifts it over the wall but it doesn't quite dip enough as it nestles on the roof of the net.
55'
B. Raman enters the game and replaces K. Saief.
54'
SUBSTITUTION! There is the change as Raman replaces the injured Mitrovic in a straight swap in defence.
53'
We're back underway as Gent look to make that change with Mitrovic ending his night early.
51'
A stoppage in play now as Mitrovic pulls up despite no Valencia player being anywhere near him. Looks like it could be a hamstring injury for the Gent centre-back.
49'
Penalty goal scored by S. Kums for Gent!
GOAAAAL! Gent have the lead! Captain Kums steps forward to hit the spot-kick. Domenech dives correctly to his right but cannot stop his powerful effort from crashing into the net! A deserved lead on the balance of play, but a sloppy penalty to concede.
48'
PENALTY! Saief attempts to whip in a cross from the byline and Barragan cuts across to block - but is deemed to have handled the ball by the officials. Gent have a penalty!
47'
SUBSTITUTION! A change at the break from the visitors as Santi Mina is replaced by Piatti. As noted in that first period, he struggled to close down Foket on the right and didn't offer much protection to his goal - Valencia will hope this alteration will nullify that threat.
46'
P. Piatti enters the game and replaces Santi Mina.
SECOND HALF! Gent get us underway for the final period.
45'
HALF-TIME! And that's the whistle for the interval with no added time to end that half. We're still all square at 0-0.
43'
Nielsen plays a slack ball out from the back with Gent in possession, allowing Valencia to regain the ball. They bring it out from the back before a player is brought down near the half-way line as the officials hand the visitors a free-kick.
41'
Unlucky there from Santi Mina as he darts across to the left to cut out a square pass to Foket. He cuts in front of him and looks to be free down the left in a good attacking position to launch a counter attack, but he is deemed to have ran the ball off the pitch as the officials award Gent a throw-in. He needs to be doing that a little more perhaps, as Foket has - on the whole - had too much time on the ball to play crosses.
39'
Valencia have the ball in the final third in what has been a rare occasion in this half. They win a corner on the right but the delivery is met but Mitrovic who heads up into the air, before Neto hacks the ball away at the second attempt. Sels has had little to do in the Gent goal so far.
37'
A little unimaginative from Nuno Espirito Santo's side there as Valencia lose the ball down the left. They are a little too close to each other as they look to play the ball from left-back and eventually play a hapless pass over the top, straight into the path of Gent's defence.
35'
Gent attempt to spark some activity from the right-hand side once more after Depoitre does well to bring the ball down, but a through-ball to Milicevic is overhit and rolls out of play for a Valencia goal-kick.
33'
GOAL FLASH! Cristian Tello has given Zenit the lead in Lyon in the other game in this group, which is good news for Valencia. A win here, with that score, will send them through.
31'
Another great cross there! Foket overlaps on the right and picks up the ball. He lifts his head up a clips in a cross right into the danger area but there is nobody there to meet it. Valencia still have trouble clearing their lines and panic at the back, before lashing the ball away. They are having all sorts of problems from the wide positions so far.
30'
S. Féghouli gets yellow.
29'
Valencia winger Feghouli picks up the first yellow card of the game after a rather unnecessary lunge on Asare near the half-way line, catching him with a high boot. A free-kick is awarded to the hosts.
27'
How Valencia are not behind here is anyone's guess. Gent have carved out chance after chance but, be it either through poor finishing or a slice of Valencia fortune from their bar, they are still level. Hein Vanhaezebrouck will hope his side can capitalise on this period of dominance sooner rather than later.
26'
CHANCE! What a miss! Dejaegere has missed a sitter for Gent from just yards out! Foket swings in another delightful ball from the right with Dejaegere the target in the middle. He is in a perfect position inside the six-yard box to head home the opening goal but his effort is headed down into the ground and over the bar! What a let off for Valencia.
24'
Valencia just can't get a break at the minute as they try to mount an attack of their own but they are penalised midway through the Gent half as Barragan brings a pass down with his hand.
22'
Foket is enjoying a fair bit of the ball for Gent early on as he breaks from the right-hand side once more. He looks to float in a cross this time to Saief on the back-post but the midfielder cannot make a connection with the ball from an attempted volley, allowing Valencia to clear.
19'
Gent have really taken the game to Valencia in these early stages and should be ahead - especially after that last chance. They have yet to lose at home in all competitions this season and will fancy their chances to continue that form should they take the lead here.
17'
OFF THE BAR! A superb effort! Saief is played the ball down the left in acres of space as he picks out Milicevic inside the area with a good cross. Milicevic rises high to meet the ball with his head and his looping effort clips the corner of the bar and bounces back out with the keeper flailing! Depoitre looks to knock in the re-bound as the ball drops on the line but Santos rushes back to hook clear!
14'
A long ball forward is played from the back by Neto as Gent look to split the defence with a clipped pass over the top. Depoitre is a willing runner as the ball rolls towards the corner flag and, despite Santos sweeping across to cut it out, the Gent striker forces him to put the ball out for a throw-in in a good attacking area for the hosts. Good work from the lone striker, there.
12'
Dejaegere draws a foul for Gent near the centre circle which just relieves the pressure a little bit and breaks down a period of possession from the visitors. The resulting free-kick is played short as they look to play their way out from the back but a ball into the final third is cut out as Valencia regain play.
10'
Valencia are just starting to settle into the game themselves now after a couple of decent chances for the hosts to take the lead. A counter attack is cut out from the right and forced behind for a corner at the other end, but Gent clear their lines from the set-piece.
8'
There was some pushing in the penalty area spotted by the officials in the build-up to that last effort from Kums though, meaning it counted for very little as play is pulled back and a foul is awarded to Valencia.
5'
CHANCE! That is a great opportunity to take the lead but Gent failt to take it. From the throw-in, Depoitre lifts his head up inside the area and finds Saief free on the edge of the box. He plays the pass with the left-winger in acres of space to compose himself for the shot but he blasts it high over the bar.
4'
Some smart play from Gent forces a throw-in as Kums flicks the ball into the path of Foket on the overlap, who looks to pull a cross back into the area for Milicevic only for his delivery to be blocked. A throw-in now in a strong attacking position near the corner flag.
3'
An early chance falls to the hosts as Valencia right-back Barragan cuts across Dejaegere on the wing to bring him down. The free-kick is swung in towards the centre of the box and falls out to Depoitre who has just hung towards the back of the penalty area. He tries to get a shot away through numbers but it takes a deflection and trickles easily into the hands of Domenech in goal.

KICK OFF! And we're underway at the Ghelamco Arena.
Hello and welcome to live commentary from Group H of the Champions League as Gent host Valencia looking to extend their European adventure in front of a capacity crowd at the Ghelamco Arena. My name is Tom Davis and I'll be guiding you through all the action in this one.
This is a fixture of huge importance to the group standings tonight with the visitors hoping to qualify to the knockout stages with a win. They do, however, have to hope rivals Olympique Lyonnais fail to beat group-leaders Zenit in tonight's other clash from Group H. With just one point in the group so far, Gent need to avoid defeat to keep their slim hopes of qualification to the last 16 alive.
We will of course keep on top of Lyon's game with Zenit during the course of this match but, for now, we'll get down to the team news - first from the hosts.
Substitutes: Cancelo, Veo, Piatti, Danilo, Yoel, De Paul, Gomes.
Two changes for both sides from the previous meeting between the two a fortnight ago. Belgium league-leaders Gent make two alterations in attack as Danijel Milicevic and Brecht Dejaegerecome come into the side - with the former pulling through from a thigh injury. Forward Laurent Depoitre is fit and starts, despite picking up a knock in the 2-0 win over Leuven over the weekend.
Antonio Barragan and Enzo Perez are introduced in place of Joao Cancelo and Andre Gomes for Valencia, both of whom drop to the bench. Goalkeeper Matthew Ryan (knee) and centre-back Aymen Abdennour (hamstring) have returned to training following lengthy absences but are not fit enough to make the bench.
Gent should be ahead, no doubt about it. A glorious miss from Dejaegere from yards out and a header off the bar from Milicevic should have seen the hosts two goals up. Valencia have created little themselves but will know an improved second-half performances gives them a real shot at qualification with Zenit still leading Lyon by one goal at the break.
A deserved victory for Gent in the end. It ended with the one goal but the hosts could have had far more after an impressive first-half. Some poor finishing and bad luck meant they had to settle for a Kums penalty kick to hand them the win. But they remain in the competition with an all-important home victory - remaining unbeaten on their own turf in all competitions.
Valencia may see this as a missed opportunity with Lyon losing but, in truth, they didn't do anywhere near enough to win this game. An improved second period saw a more even final 45 minutes but they failed to test Sels in goal with anything too problematic. Qualification is still in their hands though, with two games remaining.
