GOOD EVENING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! This is Jonathan Davies welcoming you to LIVE text commentary of the UEFA Champions League. We're at Stade de Gerland tonight as Olympique Lyonnais take on Zenit St. Petersburg in Group H.
The permeatations for tonight's match are very clear for both sides. If Zenit win then they are through to the knockout stages, while Lyon need a victory to stay alive. Anything other than a victory will eliminate them if Valencia beat KAA Gent in the other match in the group.
Hubert Fournier says that Lyon "will need to play a crazy game" if they are to win tonight. He makes two changes to the side that beat Troyes on Saturday with Samuel Umtiti and Henri Bedimo both coming into defence, while Jeremy Morel and Jordan Ferri drop to the bench.
Zenit come into the game with a 100% record after their opening three matches. They are unbeaten in 12 and Andre Villas-Boas also makes just a couple of alterations from the weekend, as Hulk returns from injury after sitting out of the goalless draw with Mordovia Saransk and Luis Neto replaces the injured Ezequiel Garay in the heart of defence.
HERE THEY COME! The teams receive a very warm reception from the crowd as they make their way onto the field.

As things stand, Zenit are marching on to the knockout stages with their 100% record still intact. Lyon simply need an answer, otherwise they are out.
The only thing keeping their hopes alive at the moment is KAA Gent holding Valencia 0-0 in the other match in Group H. If the scores remain the same, Lyon would still need to win their remaining two games and hope other results go their way.
The teams are back out and the second half is about to get started. This is a big 45 minutes for both sides.

Zenit seal their place in the last 16 after making it four wins from four thanks to Artyom Dzyuba's brace this evening. Lyon are still in the competition by the skin of their teeth, but need a miraculous set of results if they are to progress.
