No tempo left in the match now as both teams seem content to let the final seconds run out. I predicted an entertaining game and my word did we get it - although in the most lopsided fashion possible.
89'
OFF THE WOODWORK! Mason fancied a crack from a long way out, and his bouncer very nearly beats Adrian, but cannons off the base of the post! Deserved a goal, that one.
87'
M. Lanzini has scored a goal for West Ham United! Assist by N. Jelavić.
WEST HAM HAVE ONE BACK! Far too late for them now, but Lanzini does deserve some credit for a great run to beat Walker, and a neat finish to match that move.
85'
J. Onomah enters the game and replaces Son Heung-Min.
Son heads off to a warm reception after an industrious display. On comes Onomah for the final stretch.
83'
K. Walker has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by Son Heung-Min.
WALKER! What a goal from the full-back! He starts the move, advancing down the right before exchanging passes with Son and lashing a lovely finish into the corner with the outside of his boot!
82'
Whenever Spurs win the ball, West Ham rarely have more than one player covering the man in possession, It's making counter-attacking opportunities very easy for them.
80'
A. Song enters the game and replaces M. Noble.
MASON! The substitute could have added another goal for Spurs as he whacks a shot from a strong position that is right down the throat of a grateful Adrian, who didn't know much about that!
78'
The match is starting to heat up here and Sakho gets booked for a little incident. The last thing West ham need is another suspension due to ill discipline in the closing stages.
75'
D. Sakho gets yellow.
K. Walker gets yellow.
There's some space opening up for West Ham in the midfield now, but their players have lost the motivation to make the dangerous runs in support to match up to it. Poor from them.
73'
Lanzini rushes the ball at the top of the box and lets fly, with the shot taking a deflection that left Lloris rooted to the spot and praying for it to go wide - which it eventually did.
Minute
Description
71'
R. Mason enters the game and replaces D. Alli.
Alli goes off to a standing ovation after another accomplished display where he was absolutely everywhere on the pitch. What a prospect. On comes Mason for the final 20 minutes or so.
69'
WALKER! The Tottenham full-back shows searing pace to catch up to the ball down the right, and he hammers a low cross into the area that nearly fools Adrian at his far post!
67'
M. Noble gets yellow.
D. Alli gets yellow.
There's a bit of a ruckus here as Noble gets into it with Alli on the far side, with the referee stepping in to quell the flames. He then proceeds to book both players for their part in the fracas.
65'
Zarate and Jelavic are on for Carroll and Moses, who have both made scant impact on this game.
63'
N. Jelavić enters the game and replaces A. Carroll.
M. Zárate enters the game and replaces V. Moses.
Even with what looks like an inevitable victory, Tottenham will not be able to break into the top four as rivals Arsenal are currently five points ahead of them despite their loss yesterday.
60'
The visitors have managed to stabilize themselves enough to not look like candidates for conceding every time Tottenham attack. However, they have shown nothing in attack.
58'
Alli has been everywhere this afternoon, and he nearly races through onto a pass behind the static defence, but he can't keep the ball in control at full stride and the chance is gone.
56'
How damaging will this match be to West Ham as they head into the busy festive period? Their form has been slipping a little as of late but today, it careened right off the track.
54'
Cresswell is nowhere to be found down the right again as Kane blazes into space. He hangs a cross to the back post for Eriksen, but an important header from Reid takes the ball away!
52'
COULD HAVE BEEN FOUR! Son, down the right-hand side, drills a low effort that draws a great save from Adrian. Eriksen was onto the follow-up, and an even better stop from the keeper prevents that one from flying in too!
50'
H. Kane has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by C. Eriksen.
AND THAT'S THREE FOR SPURS! Kane lets the ball run across his body at the top of the box and hits it at goal. There may have been a whiff of a slight deflection as the ball dips beyond Adrian!
48'
West Ham are under the cosh already as Spurs continue their dominance in possession. Bilic looks like he has aged 10 years in 45 minutes. His team haven't been this outplayed too often this season.
46'
Here we go again!
45'
And that will do it for the first half.
43'
If Tottenham fail to go on and win this game from here then it would be inexcusable. They've had the chances to put West Ham in another zip code in the first half.
41'
MISS OF THE SEASON? Impossibly bad from Kane. He's completely in the clear after great hustle from Alli pushes the ball into his path behind the defence. However, with all the time in the world to decide where to finish, he slashes it horribly wide, closer to the corner flag than the bottom corner!
39'
West Ham have a decent counter-attacking chance when Sakho breaks with Kouyate and Carroll making runs either side of him. He attempts to chip one in for the latter, but an important header from Vertonghen kills the momentum!
37'
West Ham need to sort themselves out here. They are in danger of being played off the park. A third goal for Spurs before the break and the mountain would be too high for them to climb you feel.
35'
COULD AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN THREE! Son shimmies at the top of the box and lets loose a shot, which is parried. Alli is onto the rebound, and muscles a header onto the crossbar!
33'
T. Alderweireld has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by C. Eriksen.
SPURS HAVE A SECOND! Eriksen whips in a lovely corner that Alderweireld meets with a glancing header after a darting run to fool marker and goalkeeper!
31'
Tottenham are tarting to exploit the left flank again, with a few good overlapping moves happening down that side. Kane, despite scoring, looks a little isolated at the moment.
29'
It's West Ham's turn to up the tempo here and Tottenham have had some serious defending to do in the last few minutes. The Hammers are starting to utilize their considerable physical presence with aerial balls.
27'
KOUYATE AGAIN! From a corner, the massive midfielder guides a header on goal, but it's gobbled up by the well-positioned Lloris! This has been a great reply from the visitors after conceding.
25'
OH MY, WEST HAM NEARLY DELIVER AN INSTANT RESPONSE! A shot from Lanzini at the edge of the box was deflected into the path of Kouyate, who belies his six-foot-four frame to crash a spectacular overhead kick off the frame of the goal! No offside flag - that would have counted!
23'
H. Kane has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by D. Alli.
KANE SENDS WHITE HART LANE INTO DELIRIUM! A shot at the edge of the box from Alli is deflected into his path, and he holds off the challenge of Jenkinson to turn and fire an accomplished finish into the back of the net!
22'
Rather quiet in the match at the moment, with the lack of action on the pitch also seeing things quiet down in the stands. Spurs are seeing all of the ball but are biding their time.
20'
ADRIAN MAKES THE FIRST SAVE! Dembele weighs up his options at the top of the box before squaring to Eriksen, who winds up and lets fly, only for the West Ham keeper to push it away!
18'
West Ham are settling into this match as they are preventing Tottenham from advancing the ball into dangerous positions. There's been a few signs of their pace on the break as well.
15'
Kouyate sees his route for a clearance blocked, and he's forced to hold off Alli, who was looking to pounce in to pick his pocket. Moments later, the West Ham midfielder tries a launched ball to Carroll, who is called for offside.
13'
Great play by Rose, who had a lot of work to do to latch onto a heavy pass from Dembele, but still managed to skip past his man and link with Walker down the left-hand side of the pitch.
11'
Moses gets by Dembele to the byline and somehow manages to keep the ball in play. Sakho is in position for the cutback, but Alderweireld steps in with a timely clearance to end that attack.
9'
West Ham have been passengers in midfield so far, with Spurs winning most of the early challenges and able to dictate the tempo with their passing. The Hammers have some defending to do.
7'
Cresswell absolutely wastes a decent chance from a free-kick, blasting the ball well over the bar when he would have been better served clipping it into the box to pick out one of his team-mates.
5'
Reid's defensive header falls kindly for Eriksen at the top of the box, but there's a jumble of players around him that prevents the killer ball from coming through for Kane.
3'
Spurs have started on top in terms of possession, but West Ham are keeping it tight at the back to start. I expect quite an entertaining match here in this local derby.
1'
Off we go.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and West Ham at White Hart Lane. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action from this London derby.
Both teams are locked on 21 points, seven off leaders Leicester City. While title ambitions have never been a consideration, the top four is very much within their respective grasps. Just to reiterate how close things are between them - the last three Spurs goals in meetings against West Ham have come in the 90th minute and have earned then an additional five points.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been victims of West Ham in the 2015-16 campaign. Recent form has seen them tail off somewhat, as a loss against Watford was followed up by a draw versus Everton last time out. Still, Slaven Bilic and his team have European football on their agenda even at this early stage.
Since losing to Manchester United on the opening day of the season, Spurs have not lost a single game in the league. In fact, the Red Devils are the only other side with a better defensive record in the top flight. In their last 19 games at White Hart Lane, Tottenham have only lost twice.
Spurs subs: Vorm, Mason, Trippier, Townsend, Onomah, Carroll, Davies.
West Ham (4-2-3-1): Adrian; Jenkinson, Tomkins, Reid, Cresswell; Kouyate, Noble; Moses, Lanzini, Sakho; Carroll.
West Ham subs: Spiegel, Song, Zarate, Ogbonna, Jelavic, Antonio, Oxford.
Mauricio Pochettino makes only one swap from his side's 1-1 draw against Arsenal before the international break. In comes Heung-Min Son for Erik Lamela on the right wing. The in-form Harry Kane, with five in his last three in the league, leads the line.
West Ham will have to do without Dimitri Payet for a while, and their playmaker has been replaced in the XI by Diafra Sakho. Andy Carroll will play up front, while Manuel Lanzini will assume more of a creative burden just behind the Englishman.
Spurs are in charge here at home, with two goals to give them a deserved advantage at the break. Harry Kane opened the scoring to continue his red-hot form, before Toby Alderweireld added a second with a header. West Ham have a lot of soul-searching to do as they've been outplayed for large spells.
And that will do it from White Hart Lane! The players are left celebrating as the home side rack up ANOTHER unbeaten game to keep their push on the top four well and truly alive. It was hugely impressive from them to dismantle one of their early rivals for a European place. West Ham can have no complaints, this was as clear a demolition as you'll see this week in Europe.
That's it from me, Keeghann Sinanan here signing off and wishing you all the best.
