E. Džeko has scored a goal for Roma! Assist by L. Digne.
A superb assist from the former PSG defender as he makes his way to the byline before standing a teasing cross to the back post for Dzeko!
GOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLL FOR ROMA! The Serie A side do indeed claim a small consolation as Dzeko gets on the end of a Digne cross to the back post before glancing a lovely header into the corner! Six-one!
90'
Well the referee is definitely feeling a bit sorry for Roma here as he only signals one minute of injury time, even though we have seen six goals and three substitutions.
88'
Roma have wanted to hear the final whistle for quite a long time now, from basically half time onwards, and they are about to be put out of their misery to head back to Italy, I'm sure with their heads fairly low. They have been outclassed, outfought, and outplayed.
86'
Suarez really is something else. The Uruguayan has scored two goals on seeing Barcelona on the way to a massive win, has put in a great performance, and only has a few minutes left in the game, but is still dashing around trying to win the ball back, hustling and harrying the Roma players for the ball.
84'
Just under five minutes remaining of normal time at the Camp Nou and it has to be said that Barcelona have been absolutely wonderful this evening. They haven't been up against much, but their cohesion in the final third, finishing, and build-up play has been pretty phenomenal.
82'
Penalty saved by M. ter Stegen!
MISS FROM DZEKO! The Bosnian's night just goes from bad to worse as he fails to convert from the spot, with Ter Stegen saving the penalty pretty easily!
Both goalkeepers can at least say they have saved penalty kick this evening as Ter Stegen puts on a strong hand to deny Dzeko! Unlike Barca's last goal, there is no Roma player following up to smash in the rebound!
81'
PENALTY KICK TO ROMA! Dzeko shows some clever feet inside the Barcelona penalty area and ends up going down under the clumsy challenge of Bartra! A real chance to restore a slight bit of pride to this performance tonight!
79'
Fabulous save as the Poland international gets down with a strong hand, but he can't get up in time to stop the rebound!
Neymar blows his chance to get on the scoresheet as his poor penalty is saved down to the left by Szczensy!
GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR BARCAAA!! Neymar's penalty is saved, but Adriano steps up and shows him how to do it with a stunning strike directed right into the top left corner! Six of the best from the Catalan side!
77'
Adriano has scored a goal for Barcelona!
Penalty saved by W. Szczęsny!
76'
PENALTY TO BARCELONA! Ucan's first contribution to the match is to stupidly clip the heels of Neymar inside the Roma box! Definite penalty, but who will take it? The Brazilian is yet to score, while Suarez and Messi are on hat-tricks! Decisions...
Minute
Description
75'
S. Uçan enters the game and replaces M. Pjanić.
Third and final change from Roma as Salih Ucan comes on to replace Pjanic.
74'
Penalty shout for Barcelona! Suarez twists and turns on the edge of the box before gliding into the box and just stepping in front of Maicon, before going down under the challenge of the right-back! There looked to be slight contact, but the referee waves play on! That was touch and go, and the official probably gives Roma the benefit of the doubt.
72'
NEYMAR! HOW CLOSE WAS THAT?! The former Santos attacker gives Maicon a roasting at left-back once again and then steps up to his right foot before curling a precision strike aimed at the far corner. Szczesny scrambles to get across and doesn't make it, but breaths a sigh of relief as the attempt flashes JUST wide!
70'
Neymar pops up down the left wing and once again is awarded far too much space. He drives ahead, looking to take on Maicon, and successfully gets beyond his compatriot with a wonderful stepover before hitting the byline and sending a teasing cross into the box, but there are no takers for Barca! Normally Messi or Suarez would have been right there to smash home, but Roma get let off the hook!
68'
Halfway through the second period now and there no real signs that Roma are going to score, or indeed that Barcelona are going to stop scoring! The front three of the Catalan side have been left on by Luis Enrique for a reason, and that reason is that the trio are always incredibly hungry to get on the scoresheet, as well as assist their team-mates.
66'
To be fair, Roma are actually trying to carry a bit of a threat in the past few minutes or so, but is far too little far too late as Barcelona soak up the pressure with ease and comfort due to their comprehensive lead.
64'
Adriano enters the game and replaces Sergi Roberto.
Another Barcelona change here as Adriano enters the action in place of the once again impressive, Sergi Roberto.
It is very disappointing from the Bosnian, who steps up to hit the free kick after a few moments, only to slam it harmlessly into the top of the solid Barcelona wall. You get the feeling that Roma will only carry a threat from such situations, so that was certainly a chance to hurt the home side.
63'
L. Messi gets yellow.
Roma have a small bit of hope here as they are awarded a free kick just on the very edge of the Barcelona box after Messi fouls Iturbe, and ends up getting a yellow card. With Pjanic over a set-piece, anything can happen...
62'
W. Vainqueur gets yellow.
Yellow card for Vainqueur, just shortly after coming on. Not the best introduction!
59'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOOOOOAAAAAAALLL! GOOOAAALLLL FOR BARCA! AND IT'S MESSI WITH HIS SECOND! Neymar collects the ball down the left-hand side with an absolutely ridiculous touch and then slides a pass into Suarez, who lays into the Argentine. Szczesny saves the first attempt but can't keep out the second, as the captain of the Catalan side smashes home from a yard out! Five-nil! What a performance!
58'
W. Vainqueur enters the game and replaces A. Florenzi.
Roma follow suit and make a change of their own, which will see Florenzi make way for William Vainqueur.
57'
Marc Bartra enters the game and replaces Piqué.
Dani Alves gets yellow.
That goal will be Pique's last contribution to the match as he leaves the pitch with a massive smile on his face to be replaced by Marc Bartra.
Yellow card Daniel Alves da Silva
56'
Piqué has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Messi.
Messi is certainly not showing any signs of rustiness here and further stamps his authority in the match by unselfishly setting up Pique for the fourth goal!
GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL FOR BARCELONA! Further misery heaped on Roma! Messi breaks the offside trap of the Italian side and strides into space before reversing a pass back inside, where Pique, who somehow finds himself in the centre forward position, taps into the empty net! Superb move again! Four-nil!
55'
SAVE FROM TER STEGEN! Iago Falque, who was completely anonymous in the first half, manages to get in behind the Barcelona defence with only the keeper to beat, but fails to show much composure and fires the ball straight at the Barca stopper, who makes the solid block.
54'
Digne finally displays some attacking ambition down that left-hand side as he shakes off the attentions of Dani Alves before whipping a teasing cross to the back post. Barcelona manage to clear, but Roma manage to recycle possession in the final third and manage to but the home side back into their box.
52'
Dzeko receives the ball to feet in a more advanced position this time, with his back to goal, and turns before attemting to shift inside to get a shot away. The vigilant Rakitic is on hand to make the important interception, though, as Barca win possession before moving further forward.
50'
SAVE FROM SZCZESNY! Neymar, who is the only member of the Barca strikeforce yet to find the net, is awarded far too much space on the edge of the area and takes advantage before shifting on to his right foot and whipping a strike aimed towards the top corner. The Roma goalkeeper reads it well though and palms over for a corner kick.
48'
Dzeko is forced back basically into his own half in order to see a bit of the ball, but it doesn't work out too well as he attempts to find Iturbe with a lofted pass down the left channel, only to fall down whilst making his connection, subsequently sending out for a Barca throw-in.
46'
J. Iturbe enters the game and replaces R. Nainggolan.
Sergi Samper enters the game and replaces Sergio Busquets.
We are back under way at Camp Nou, and there is a couple of substitutions to report for you...
For Roma, Nainggolan leaves the pitch and he'll be replaced by Juan Iturbe, which will likely signal a change in formation for the visitors. Perhaps looking to show more attacking ambition?
For Barcelona, Busquets is given a rest for the second period and his replacement will be young midfielder, Sergi Samper.
44'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOOOOAAAAAAALLLL FOR BARCELONA! PURE INSPIRATION FROM SUAREZ! The Uruguayan peels away to the back post and latches on to a loose clearance before sending a brilliant first time volley into the far corner, and whilst off balance too! Three-nil! Fantastic!
43'
Busquets somehow avoids joining Pique in the referee's book as he completely takes out Maicon deep down the right touchline, conceding the free kick in the process. Pjanic slams the subsequent set-piece into the danger area, but Barca deal with it fairly comfortably.
41'
Piqué gets yellow.
We have our first yellow card of the match and it goes to Pique for taking out former team-mate, Keita, to break down a Roma counterattack.
40'
Shouldn't be too much added time signaled by the referee here as we have more or less seen Barcelona pass around the pitch without too much opposition. It looks like Roma are pretty knackered so they will be glad of the rest!
38'
Roma get a rare bit of respite as Keita intercepts the ball in the middle of the park before playing into Pjanic. The Bosnian finds his compatriot, Dzeko, deep down the left touchline but is just dispossessed by the covering Alba, who shows a brilliant turn of pace to hit out for a throw-in.
36'
As mentioned previously, Roma are the only team in the history of this competition who are undefeated against Barcelona after having played them on more than two occasions. It looks like this impressive record is going to come to an end tonight - unless they can, somehow, pose a threat. Just getting the ball would be a start.
34'
Dzeko is the most isolated player on the park by far at the moment as Florenzi and Falque are having to drop back into a five-man midfield. Combine that with the fact that Pjanic and Nainggolan are basically seeing zero of the ball, and the Bosnian is receiving zero service and support up there.
32'
One aspect of Roma's play that has been particularly poor this evening has been their inability to press the ball as a team. It is fair enough if they want to remain as one defensive unit, but as soon as one player leaves the pack to chase down the ball without any help, Barca are just easily picking off the space.
30'
Maicon makes a rare venture forward into the Barcelona half, only to be forced back due to being outnumbered. He eventually attempts to flick the ball beyond Busquets down the touchline, but the Spaniard shows some impressive strength to shield possession away before passing back inside to Sergi Roberto.
28'
Dani Alves and Rakitic have linked up very well in this first half and the Barca duo combine again effectively down the right-hand side, with the Croatian darting into the box to receive a precise, lofted pass from his team-mate. He attempts to reverse a pass inside to Messi, but Manolas is positioned well to make the important interception.
26'
Alba moves forward into the left channel completely unopposed and then decides against passing into the feet of Neymar, instead stepping inside to recycle possession with Busquets, who spreads the play wonderfully with a drilled pass to Dani Alves.
24'
There is just so much space available to Barcelona at the moment and they are clearly prospering with the increased room to operate. I don't actually think Florenzi or Falque have touched the ball in the final third as of yet, and if they did it certainly wasn't meaningful possession on the ball!
22'
We are just about approaching the midway period of the first half now and it has been all-Barcelona in the first portion of the match, which is interesting considering that Roma should have took the lead through that Dzeko header. The visitors are going to rue that miss by the looks of things!
20'
Roma don't really know what has hit them here, and it has to be said that for all Barcelona's good work, the Serie A outfit have not structured themselves particularly solidly in midfield and defence. Their decision to try and play Neymar, Messi, and Suarez, offside with a high defensive line has proved a bit of an error.
18'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Suárez.
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLL FOR BARCELONA! WONDERFUL STUFF FROM MESSI! Suarez is the provider this time as he pops up on the edge of the box before dinking a pass through to the Argentine, who darts towards goal before wonderfully lifting the ball over the oncoming keeper! Fabulous! Two-nil!
Suarez turns provider as he finds Messi with a delightful dink through!
17'
Barcelona are looking extremely hungry for more goals here and although they more than likely would have finished top anyway, they are clearly wanting to put Roma down as quickly as possible.
15'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Dani Alves.
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLL FOR BARCELONA! THE CATALAN SIDE TAKE THE LEAD! Neymar cuts deep inside from the left wing and finds Dani Alves in behind the Roma defence with an outstanding, curled pass. The Brazilian glides forward and unselfishly squares for Suarez, who passes home! One-nil!
Brilliantly unselfish work from Dani Alves as he moves forward before picking out Suarez just inside!
13'
ROMA SHOULD BE 1-0 UP! Pjanic takes a signature corner kick from the right-hand side that is wickedly swung into the danger area for Dzeko. The Bosnian, who is completely unmarked six yards out, somehow manages to head north of the crossbar! Ter Stegen would have had no chance if that was on target!
11'
The Argentine drops into a much deeper position this time and collects possession inside the centre circle before spotting the run of Neymar down the left channel. He ends up finding his South American compatriot with a quite remarkable pass into the Roma box, but the subsequent pass into the box is pounced upon by Szczesny.
9'
Messi is looking sharp as a tack in these opening stages and almost comes close to scoring the opening goal once again as he latches on to a threaded pass into the centre from Neymar before getting in behind the Roma defence. The Barca captain takes a few strides forward before lashing a left-footed strike at goal, but it is dragged just a yard or so wide. The threat is definitely there!
7'
GOOOOAALLLLL FOR BARCELONA! WAIT! NO! OFFSIDE! The hosts pull off a lovely move down the left wing and it finishes with Neymar teeing up Messi a few yards out, who walks the ball into the empty net. He'll need to wait to for his triumphant returning strike though as the linesman had his flag up.
5'
Some questions could have potentially been raised in the few minutes leading up to the match whether Barca could potentially take their foot off the gas after having already qualified due to that Leverkusen draw earlier on this afternoon. However, the early stages of the game here seem to suggest to the contrary as the home side have had a spring in their step since the opening whistle.
3'
Messi makes his first start in just about two months, and has the honour of doing it as captain with Iniesta only featuring on the bench tonight. This is, of course, the Argentine's first appearance in the Camp Nou in that time so his first touch down the right-hand side catalyses a massive cheer from the Barcelona faithful.

We are under way in the Camp Nou!
Good evening football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the Champions League Group E clash between Barcelona and Roma from the Camp Nou!
Tonight's match presents Luis Enrique's men with the opportunity to qualify early for the last-16 of the competition, a feat which would be their 12th progression in a row from the group stage. The Blaugrana couldn't really be coming into the fixture in better form after successfully and comprehensively defeating great rivals, Real Madrid, 4-0 in the Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday. In that stunning display, goals from Neymar, Andres Iniesta, and a double from Luis Suarez sealed the three points.
I'm Martin Macdonald, and it is my pleasure to take you through the action.
The reigning Champions League holders are unbeaten in their last nine matches at Camp Nou against Italian sides, winning seven and drawing just two in that time. However, rather interestingly, Roma are the only team in the history of the Champions League or European cup that is yet to taste defeat against Barca after having played them on more than two occasions. There has been three previous meetings between the sides, which have ended in two draws and one win for the Giallorossi. Rudi Garcia's outfit will certainly do very well to carry on such a record away in Catalunya tonight!
Barca are unbeaten in the group stage so far and currently find themselves in pole position in first place with 10 points taken from their opening four matches. The only occasion in which they have dropped points actually came in the previous fixture against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, when an incredible strike from the halfway line from Alessandro Florenzi cancelled out Suarez's opener to subsequently earn the 1-1 draw for the Serie A side.
With Barcelona running away with the group as leaders, it has meant that the rest of the table is fairly tight, with Roma currently situated second on five points – just one ahead of Bayer Leverkusen. Garcia's charges are on the back of two highly entertaining clashes against the German outfit, which ended 4-4 and a 3-2 win to Roma respectively, with the second result potentially vital in sealing progression to the last-16.
TEAM NEWS...
Roma have been arguably unlucky in the fact that they are coming up against a Barcelona side tonight who are not only buoyed by their superb win over Real Madrid at the weekend, but also with the return of their talisman, Lionel Messi, who made his long awaited return from a knee injury in the Clasico. The Argentine featured from the bench in that match, but will definitely be in line for a starting berth in this European encounter. Having said that, Neymar and Suarez haven't exactly been toiling in their South American compatriot's absence!
The Giallorossi have had a decent start to their domestic campaign and sit fourth in Serie A, three points behind leaders, Inter Milan. Their last match saw them only manage a 2-2 draw away at Bologna, but questions have been raised as to whether the match should even have went ahead due to the highly waterlogged pitch in the Renato Dall'Ara, Probably not the best preparation for the legs when travelling to the Camp Nou against Barca's passing game a few days later.
Barcelona (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Dani Alves, Pique, Vermaelen, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Sergi Roberto; Neymar, Suarez, Messi.
Well, Barcelona fans can rest easy before this clash as the Blaugrana have qualified this evening without even kicking a ball! Leverkusen could only manage a 1-1 draw away at BATE Borisov earlier on today, which means neither side can overtake the Blaugrana. Subsequently, Barca can top the group with a point here. Pressure is off!
The teams are making their way to the pitch and we are almost ready for the Champions League theme to sound out in the packed stadium!
Half time at Camp Nou. Barcelona have effortlessly brushed aside Roma in this opening 45 minutes and go into the break with a comfortable 3-0 lead. Luis Suarez scored two fabulous goals either side of a strike for Lionel Messi, who makes his first start in 2 months. The bad news for Roma is that the Blaugrana look eager to press ahead to add to their tally! More goals expected in the second period!
Full time at the Camp Nou. Barcelona have been irresistible this evening and qualify to the last-16 in style thanks to a comprehensive 6-1 win over Roma in Group E. Luis Suarez got two, Adriano and Pique got one each, and Lionel Messi got a double on his first start for nearly two months after recovering from a knee injury. Neymar will feel aggrieved he didn't join his mates on the scoresheet, but a stunning performance overall from the front three. Edin Dzeko netted a consolation late on, but the Serie A side barely deserved it after playing so poorly. I'm Martin Macdonald, thanks for joining us, see you next time!
