The referee blows the final whistle and brings the match to an end.
90' +1
ALMOST FIVE! Slimani found himself completely unmarked at the far post, but was just unable to make the right contact on the ball and sent it wide of the target.
90'
The fourth official raises his board to indicate that there will be three minutes of stoppage time at the end of this game.
88'
Sporting must be careful now. You would still expect them to see this out, but they cannot afford to get too complacent inside these last couple of minutes.
86'
Aleksey Miranchuk has scored a goal for Lokomotiv Moscow! Assist by D. N’Dinga.
N’Dinga created the opportunity with a very impressive cross from the right.
LOKOMOTIV HAVE A CONSOLATION! N'Dinga delivers a dangerous cross and Miranchuk controls the ball well on his chest, before calmly slotting past Boeck.
85'
As we enter the last five minutes of this game, it looks like Sporting are going to hold out for a very impressive victory here in Russia. You can take nothing away from them, they have thoroughly deserved it.
83'
Lokomotiv are trying to make things happen as the clock continues to tick down. They keep pumping balls into the box, but Sporting are standing firm.

Minute
Description
74'
Gelson was very nearly in behind again for Sporting, but Guilherme was quickly off his line to gather the ball on this occasion. It could well have been five, otherwise.
72'
Niasse tries to make something happen for the hosts, as he lets fly from 25 yards but sees his effort go high into the stands.
71'
I. Slimani enters the game and replaces F. Montero.
Montero is given a well-earned rest, as he goes off to be replaced by Islam Slimani.
70'
IT WAS ALMOST FIVE! Ruiz made his way into the area once again and unleashed a powerful strike that was just tipped onto the post by Guilherme.
68'
André Martins enters the game and replaces Matheus Pereira.
Sporting make their first change of the night, as Andre Martins replaces Pereira.
66'
The free kick is very disappointing for the hosts. Samedov stands over it, but is nowhere near troubling Boeck as his delivery drifts way wide of the target.
65'
A. Kolomeytsev enters the game and replaces D. Tarasov.
The hosts will make a quick change before it is taken, though, as Aleksandr Kolomeytsev comes on for Tarasov.
64'
They need to keep their discipline at the back now. Lokomotiv have just been awarded a free kick 25 yards from goal and dead central. This is a good opportunity for the hosts.
62'
Who could have predicted this at the start of the night? Sporting may be unbeaten in the Portuguese Premier League so far this season, but they have generally struggled on the continent. This has been sensational tonight, however.
60'
Matheus Pereira has scored a goal for Sporting Lisbon! Assist by Gelson Martins.
Gelson provided a beautifully-weighted through ball for the goal.
SPORTING ARE RUNNING RIOT!!! The high defensive line is clearly doing Lokomotiv no justice, as they are caught out once again. Gelson cuts inside before sliding the ball through for Pereira, who has all the time in the world to shape up and slot home through Guilherme's legs.
58'
After a fairly hectic few minutes, it seems that the match is finally settling back into reality. Both sides are looking to find some flow again.
56'
ALMOST! Gelson very nearly catches Guilherme out at his near post, as his cross almost creeps over the line before the Lokomotiv keeper palms the ball away.
55'
SO CLOSE! In almost a repeat of the previous move, Fernandes drills the ball right across the face of goal. Niasse tries to connect, but cannot quite stretch far enough to make the vital contact.
53'
OFF THE BAR! Fernandes drives the ball across the area and Maicon arrives at the far post, but a last-ditch block from the defence sees it loop up and bounce back off the woodwork.
52'
Sporting cannot afford to sit back too much in this second half. They may have breathing space as it stands, but there is still a long way to go in this contest.
50'
OFFSIDE! Maicon looks to latch onto a through ball in behind the Sporting defence, but he is denied an almost certain goal by the assistant's flag. The replay suggests it was a very close call indeed.
48'
Cherevchenko's words appear to still be ringing in Lokomotiv's ears, as they have began this second half with a lot more urgency in their play. The hosts have enjoyed almost all of the possession since the break.
46'
KICK OFF! The referee blows his whistle and gets the second half up and running.
45'
There will be no time added as the referee swifly blows for half time.
43'
Gelson Martins has scored a goal for Sporting Lisbon! Assist by F. Montero.
Assist Fredy Henkyer Montero Muñoz
IT'S 3-1!!! Sporting hit Lokomotiv on the counter after breaking play up deep inside their own half. Montero slid the ball through for Gelson to run onto, and the winger neatly slid it through the keeper's legs. The visitors are in dreamland!
42'
It has been a very good team performance from the visitors. Lokomotiv just threatened to come forward on the counter, but they were quickly back into position and able to intercept.
40'
Could this be the night that the history books are rewritten? Sporting have done everything right so far, but need to keep it going for the remainder of this match.
38'
B. Ruiz has scored a goal for Sporting Lisbon! Assist by F. Montero.
Assist Fredy Henkyer Montero Muñoz
SPORTING ARE IN FRONT!!! Bryan Ruiz plays a neat one-two with Montero, before deliciously chipping the ball over the advancing Guilherme to give his side the lead.
36'
The play has become quite disjointed, though, over these past couple of minutes. Possession is frequently exchanging hands and there is no real flow at the moment.
34'
The signs are very positive for Sporting at the moment. They are also receiving a helping hand from Skenderbeu in the group's other game, as they are currently holding Besiktas 1-1.
32'
GOOD SAVE! Gelson Martins gets in behind the Lokomotiv defence following a neat one-two, but his shot from a tight angle is well kept out by Guilherme.
31'
The Portuguese side are looking the more threatening of the two sides here. They look positive on the ball and will want to press home their advantage while they can.
29'
A chance almost opens up for the visitors following an unfortunate ricochet in the Lokomotiv defence, but their optimism is soon over as the linesman rules Pereira offside.
26'
Jesus will be pleased with the way his side have responded to going behind earlier on. Another unfortunate statistic that Sporting are trying to put right is the fact that they are currently without a win in 17 European games away from home.
24'
Sporting enjoy a good spell of pressure inside the Lokomotiv half. They force a corner from the right side, but it eventually comes to nothing as the hosts hold firm for now.
22'
It is very much game on again all of a sudden. The tempo appeared to have left the contest for a short while, but that goal has seen it burst back into life.
20'
F. Montero has scored a goal for Sporting Lisbon!
SPORTING HAVE EQUALISED!!! It was a fairly cheap goal as far as the hosts were concerned. Montero was able to ghost into the six-yard box to latch onto a deep cross, before sliding a volley through the legs of Guilherme.
19'
Lokomotiv are taking the opportunity to take the sting out of the game for a minute or so. They are knocking the ball around inside their own half, but do not want to sit too deep.
17'
STAT ATTACK! Sporting's record against Russian opposition is abysmal in all fairness, winning just one of their previous eight attempts. They also need to upset the history books as well as the form book this evening.
15'
It has been a lively start to this game inside the opening quarter of an hour. Lokomotiv know that a win will see them through, while anything other than a victory for Sporting will leave them depending on results elsewhere.
13'
Niasse is involved again as a powerful run causes havoc for the Sporting defence. He is eventually penalised, however, for tripping Mykhalyk when chasing the ball.
11'
Lokomotiv hit Sporting on the counter attack. The ball comes to Niasse on the left wing and he delivers a cross, but Broeck reads it very well and is able to collect.
9'
Sporting look for an immediate response to going behind. Montero shoots from a tight angle, but sees his effort pushed away by Guilherme.
7'
That was a very lucky break for the hosts but, when you are top of the group, little things like that tend to go your way. When you are towards the bottom like Sporting, though, it goes against you more often than not.
5'
Maicón Bolt has scored a goal for Lokomotiv Moscow!
LOKOMOTIV TAKE THE LEAD! Naldo challenges for the ball and unintentionally puts it on a plate for Maicon, who bares down on goal before calmly slotting past Marcelo Broeck.
3'
Sporting have made all of the early running inside the opening couple of minutes here. A neat passage of play results in them getting a shot away, but it is very tame and easy for Guilherme to gather.
1'
KICK OFF! The referee blows his whistle and gets the game underway.
Good evening everyone and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the UEFA Europa League. We're at the Lokomotiv Stadium tonight for Lokomotiv Moscow's Group H clash with Sporting Lisbon.
Lokomotiv will seal their place in the knockout stages with a win here this evening. Sporting, on the other hand, need a victory to stay alive in the competition, unless Besiktas fail to beat Skenderbeu in the other Group H match.
Igor Cherevchenko makes three changes for the hosts from their 2-0 defeat to Anzhi last time out. Taras Mykhalyk, Manuel Fernandes, Delvin N'Dinga and Oumar Niasse all come into the starting 11, while Vedran Corluka is suspended.
Jorge Jesus rings seven changes in total for Sporting from their extra-time cup victory over Benfica on Saturday. Ewerton, Adrien Silva, Bryan Ruiz and Fredy Montero are the only survivors following that game. Rui Patricio is suspended, while top scorer Islam Slimani has to settle for a place on the bench.
NOT LONG NOW! The players are coming out onto the field and kick-off is just moments away.
HALF TIME: LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW 1-3 SPORTING LISBON
Sporting's 3-1 lead at the break is very well deserved. They have shown great character since falling behind to Maicon's fifth-minute effort, with goals from Fredy Montero, Bryan Ruiz and Gelson Martins giving them a healthy advantage going into the second half.
The teams are making their way back out onto the field and the second half is fast approaching.
FULL TIME: LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW 2-4 SPORTING LISBON
Sporting Lisbon's first European win on the road in 18 attempts was well worth the wait, as they recovered from going a goal behind to running out convincing 4-2 winners against Lokomotiv Moscow.
That's all for this evening. Thank you for following the LIVE action of the UEFA Europa League - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, goodnight!
