Dortmund are looking to bounce back from their midweek defeat to PAOK in the Europa League with victory over Frankfurt this afternoon. Thomas Tuchel's men are unbeaten in their last two Bundesliga games and are hoping to keep pace with Bayern Munich at the top of the standings.
Frankfurt, on the other hand, haven't won any of their last five Bundesliga matches, losing their last three on the spin. Hovering just a point above the drop zone before today's game, they need to arrest the slide sooner rather than later.
TEAM NEWS: Tuchel has made a whopping eight changes to the side which started Dortmund's 1-0 loss at the hands of PAOK on Thursday. Burki, Piszczek, Schmelzer, Weigl, Gundogan, Mkhitaryan, Castro and Aubameyang all come into the first eleven for today's game.
TEAM NEWS: Armin Veh has made four alterations to the team which started Frankfurt's 1-0 defeat to Darmstadt in their last Bundesliga outing. Kinsombi, Djakpa, Ignjovski and Meier all get the chance to impress from the get-go today.

HALF TIME: DORTMUND 1-1 FRANKFURT
And breathe. What a first half that was at the Signal Iduna Park. It's honours even heading into the interval but more goals could have easily hit the back of the net after a pulsating opening period.
Dortmund started the first half incredibly fast but it was Frankfurt who struck the opener. Seferovic exposed the hosts' lack of numbers at the back on the counter attack by playing in Meier, who found the net past Burki with a quality finish.
It didn't take Dortmund long to get back in the game, though, as Aubameyang set up Mkhitaryan for a tap-in. The Saint-Etienne forward was in the thick of everything Tuchel's charges done well in the first half but he missed a penalty late on.
Medojevic was penalised for bringing down Castro inside the penalty area and received his second yellow card of the game as a result. However Aubameyang couldn't convert from the spot and therefore both sides are still locked level on the scoreboard.
FULL TIME: DORTMUND 4-1 FRANKFURT
Dortmund come back from a goal down to beat Frankfurt 4-1 at Signal Iduna Park. Tuchel's men will enter the Christmas break in good spirits having picked up their third straight win.
Frankfurt, on the other hand, have now lost four on the spin and are in trouble. They took the lead today through Meier but Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang, Hummels and Ramos completed a turnaround for Dortmund.
