Duda clips Messi, gets booked and that will be that.
90' +3
Castro finds space down the near side once again to angle in a ball, but his delivery is lacking in quality, flying out down the far side to end what may probably be Malaga's last attack. Seconds remaining.
90' +1
OFFSIDE! Suarez is incredulous as he's penalised for making his run too early to latch onto Messi's pass. Malaga pulled up immediately, which may have influenced the official's thinking, but replays show that the South American pair were both onside!
89'
A late flurry from Barcelona, with Messi leading the counter-attack. He's got Suarez peeling away down the left-hand side, but his attempted ball to find his fellow Conmebol forward is intercepted by a defender.
87'
SUPER SAVE! A corner from the right finds its way to Messi at the back post, and Malaga are all at sea defensively. The forward takes it on his chest and lashes a volley on goal, but Kameni gets across superbly to make the stop!
86'
Pablo Fornals gets yellow.
Fornlas joins the yellow-card party for having a nibble at Iniesta.
85'
Barcelona have started to milk the clock now on free-kicks and other set-pieces. It's frustrating the home fans as their trailing side are unable to mount any sort of attack in the closing stages.
83'
Duda enters the game and replaces Weligton.
Weligton has enjoyed an accomplished game in the heart of the Malaga defence. There's been one or two plays where he's toed the line of acceptability, but you've come to expect that as part of the veteran Brazilian's effectiveness. On comes Duda.
81'
THAT SHOULD HAVE WRAPPED IT UP! Messi races onto a long ball over the top, and beats Torres for sheer pace. However, Weligton is also tracking back, and the craftiest of nudges on the Argentina captain puts him off his shot, which is fired into the side netting!
80'
R. Santa Cruz enters the game and replaces D. Čop.
Santa Cruz enters the game for Cop in a like-for-like swap.
Minute
Description
79'
Malaga try to attack, but Bravo is all over Rosales' effort. Looks like they will be readying another change too. You can tell that their energy levels have dropped after their incredible efforts in the first half.
77'
The second half has really started to slow to a crawl, which will suit Barcelona far more than Malaga. Remember, the Blaugrana will go top once again if they see out the win here in Andalusia.
75'
Mascherano has been forced to cover for a lot of his teammates' mistakes, but he too has been guilty of some baffling plays in defence. Doesn't look like he'll be in the mood for any small talk in the locker room after this one.
73'
Adriano, job done with an assist, is pulled for the versatile Sergi Roberto.
CLOSE CALL FOR BARCELONA! Mascherano clears the ball weakly, and Malaga pounce near the top of the box. Camacho takes aim from that position, but it's pushed away well by Bravo, with the hosts unable to pounce on the rebound at the back post!
72'
Sergi Roberto enters the game and replaces Adriano.
71'
A. Turan gets yellow.
Turan is the latest player to be shown a yellow card for a challenge on Rosales. It's been a rough-and-tumble sort of game, no doubt, but there's been nothing truly malicious.
69'
Pablo Fornals enters the game and replaces Recio.
Substitution José Luis García del Pozo Pablo Fornals Malla
The game has become bogged down in midfield, but to Barcelona's credit, they don't look nearly as vulnerable when they lose the ball. Going to be hard for Malaga, but they're not out of this game by any stretch.
67'
Tempestuous period in the game as both sides battle for supremacy. Malaga have started to drop their defensive line a little deeper, in order to prevent a recurrence of the passes over the top that have affected them recently.
65'
L. Messi gets yellow.
Messi is careless when battling with Camacho, and upends the Malaga man. Yellow card for the Argentine, who is still struggling to get up to his usual level in this match, despite the goal.
63'
Adriano dinks a ball over the defensive line for Suarez to chase, but the Uruguayan forward's touch is no match for Kameni, who comes off his line to position himself to smother that ball.
61'
I'm starting to get the sense that Malaga have lost their mojo in the second half. Barcelona aren't falling for their pressure anymore, which itself isn't as intense as the first half. Understandably so - it's hard to keep up such a relentless approach for more than an hour.
59'
The left side for Barcelona continues to look less than secure, and the likes of Rosales, Recio and Juanpi have been trying to combine and get crosses in from that section of the field.
57'
Delicately poised game at the moment. Malaga are trying to get more men forward to get back into the match, but Barca are connecting with their passes now and could threaten on the break.
56'
I. Rakitić enters the game and replaces M. El Haddadi.
Munir has been substituted for Rakitic.
55'
NEARLY THE LEVELER! Castro snakes in down the left and hammers one into the six-yard area, which is pushed away by Bravo. The Barca keeper is fortunate to see the rebound cleared away by Mathieu before the forwards can pounce!
53'
Malaga will be kicking themselves. Now, they have to fight back all over again. It was certainly an avoidable goal, given that it sailed over the head of three players, two of whom made no attempt to jump.
51'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Adriano.
Adriano made the goal with an inswinging cross, but Malaga could have done better to clear it.
MESSI RESTORES BARCELONA'S LEAD! He's been invisible up until now, but that's all forgotten as he crashes in at the back post to acrobatically finish a cross!
50'
After the referee settles things down, the visitors can finally take the free-kick, but it amounts to nothing. Barcelona have started this period well though, looking far more poised on the ball.
48'
Weligton is pulled up for a challenge on Suarez, and there's a little flare up between the players. It looked like a standard rough challenge at first glance, but replays show that he raked his studs a little on the Uruguayan's leg.
46'
J. Mathieu enters the game and replaces T. Vermaelen.
No surprise to see Vermaelen replaced at the break. The Belgian has been almost invisible at precisely the wrong moments, and he has been sacrificed for Mathieu for the second half.
Off we go again!
45' +1
Malaga try to wrangle one last chance down the vulnerable Barcelona left flank, but can't execute. They do not want this first half to end, but the referee is about to wrap things up.
44'
T. Vermaelen gets yellow.
Vermaelen goes in late on the lively Charles and gets a yellow card for his troubles. The ex-Arsenal skipper has really struggled here with runners directly at him.
42'
GAME-SAVING BLOCK FROM TORRES! Munir evades his man to have a shot on the left side, which is pushed away by Kameni. It falls for Messi at the back post and he seems destined to tap it in, but Torres, on his backside, slides in to thwart that one!
40'
ANOTHER SHOT! Charles escapes down the right side of the area and has a sight on goal, letting fly with little hesitation. Bravo is positioned well to make the save though, needing two touches to do so.
38'
Kameni has had precious little to do in this game, which is a dream when you're playing a side with the reputation of Barcelona. The front six for Malaga have been incredible in terms of their effort off the ball.
36'
Adriano's ball is cleared away by Weligton, but Barcelona are back on the attack, with the subsequent delivery eventually claimed by Kameni. Less than 10 minutes to go until the break now.
34'
No question that Malaga deserve to be level. The Catalans have been committing errors recklessly, thanks in no small part to the pressure from the home side. In fact, Barcelona's opener is sticking out like an anomaly.
32'
J. Añor has scored a goal for Malaga! Assist by Charles.
Charles was the man to spot Juanpi moving into space near the D.
JUANPI POUNCES! A terrible pass from Busquets sells Mascherano short, but he does even worse by clearing the ball right to the opposition. Malaga storm forward, and Juanpi turns on the edge of the area before angling a shot in on goal that hits the back of the net via a deflection off Mascherano!
31'
What is going on with Barcelona's midfield? Turnover after turnover under pressure. There's not a whole lot going right for the Catalans at the moment and Malaga can smell blood.
29'
Barcelona simply don't look settled in this game. Messi has been a virtual spectator since the first whistle, and apart from their opening goal, they've created nothing in the way of chances.
27'
ANOTHER GIFT! Barcelona cough up possession once more, but Camacho gets his wires crossed with a teammate after Bravo's terrible clearance, but once again, Mascherano is there to clean up the mess.
25'
Charles gets yellow.
Charles was booked - I'm not sure if it was for perceived simulation or his protests towards the referee's decision.
24'
MALAGA FEEL THEY SHOULD HAVE A PENALTY! A terrible slip from Busquets puts the defence under pressure and lets Malaga through. Mascherano, tracing back, slides in to win the ball off Charles, and the referee deems it a legal challenge! Difficult decision!
22'
Barcelona try to get back to basics with some passing play among their deeper players, forcing Malaga to do the chasing for once. The atmosphere inside this stadium is also playing against the visitors, it's quite hectic.
20'
Suarez is caught narrowly offside as Barcelona finally find the killer ball to beat the press and free one of their forwards. Signs that the Catalans are starting to steady themselves here.
18'
Whenever Barcelona try to work a sequence in possession, Malaga find a way to break it up. Turan is forced into a turnover that nearly lets Castro in down the left-hand side, but the ball is too far ahead of him.
16'
Malaga have persisted with a high defensive line to keep the pressure on the Catalans, and for now, Barca have failed to beat that press and punish them on the counterattack. How long will it last though?
14'
WHAT A SAVE! La Rosaleda is starting to rock after Malaga win their third corner, which is hooked in by Recio. It's headed clear, but only to Castro at the top of the box, and he lashes one for the bottom corner. Bravo saw it late, but still reacted excellently to push it onto the post!
12'
Barcelona are under a little bit of pressure at the moment, thanks to the pressing approach of the home team. Bravo was forced into a rushed clearance that coughed up a throw-in inside his own half.
10'
Malaga are starting to put their foot down, and are enjoying a solid spell in possession. A cross comes in for Cop to head at the back post, but he plants it right down the throat of Bravo.
8'
Malaga have a corner that is played towards the near post, there's a scramble, and the referee blows his whistle, giving the gome fans excitement that a penalty has been awarded, but the call goes the other way for a foul against Charles.
6'
There's a decent glare working against Kameni and his back four, and it will be interesting to see how that plays out for the remainder of the half. No hope of blaming the first goal on that though.
4'
Some lovely footwork from Iniesta sees him leave two defenders scratching their heads near the touchline, but he can't pick out a teammate to add some end product to the move. Barca starting confidently here.
2'
M. El Haddadi has scored a goal for Barcelona!
WHAT A START FOR BARCELONA! Suarez wriggles free behind his man towards the byline, turns to face goal and squares almost across the goal line, leaving the simplest of finishes for Munir!

Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live commentary of the Liga clash between Malaga and Barcelona at La Rosaleda. The hosts have a terrible recent record against the Catalan giants, but will be looking to put that aside as they push for the top half of the table. Meanwhile, the visitors are hot on the heels of leaders Atletico Madrid in the title race. Stick with us for all the action.
A 2-1 loss at Sevilla last time out ended a decent unbeaten run for Malaga which saw them put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone. They currently sit in 12th, but could move as high as ninth if things go their way this weekend. Crucially, they are tied with Atleti for the best home defensive record in the top flight, with only five goals conceded at La Rosaleda.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are two points behind Diego Simeone's men, but have that all-important game in hand. Luis Enrique's men have been virtually flawless at home - winning 10 and drawing one of their first 11 games en route to scoring 38 goals, but on the road has been a different story. Four wins, two draws and two defeats tell the story of their travels, while they've only scored 12 times to the eight goals that they've conceded away from Camp Nou.
In their last 20 games against Barcelona, Malaga have lost 17 times, with their only victory coming at Camp Nou. The Andalusian side have won four of their last six at home - but Barcelona have also kept clean sheets in eight of their last 10 games. All stats point to a tight affair, but the Catalans tend to throw such predictions out the window.
Arthur Boka is suspended, meaning that Miguel Torres starts at left back for the home side. Juanpi also enters the fray in place of Nordin Amrabat, while Marcos Angeleri replaces Raul Albentosa.
A hamstring problem for Neymar has seen him miss out here, meaning that Munir will continue in the front three. Gerard Pique is suspended, so Thomas Vermaelen partners Javier Mascherano in defence. Lionel Messi ahd Luis Suarez also return to the XI after a hamstring scare and suspension respectively from Barca's midweek Copa del Rey action.
So that will do it for the first period from La Rosaleda, and it's Malaga who are being held by Barcelona. How often do you say that? Munir's early opener did the exact opposite of open the floodgates, and the home side took the initiative, with their relentless pressing approach paying dividends as Juanpi bundled in a deserved leveler. Half time here, and all to play for. Stay tuned.
Full time here at La Rosaleda, and Barcelona provisionally move to the top of the table, with Atletico Madrid yet to play. Of course, the Catalans will still have that game in hand against Sporting Gijon at the end of the weekend. Munir opened the scoring in a first half that Barcelona were pressed off the park, conceding to a deserved Juanpi goal. However, Messi was their savior after the interval, angling in the game winner in a match that he and his team were far from their best. Three points on the board for Barca, while Malaga miss an excellent chance to claim a huge scalp and move into the top half of the table. That's all from us, see you next time!
