CLOSE! And just like that, Liverpool almost test Mannone as Moreno curls in a lovely cross from the left-hand side towards Lallana, but the former Southampton man fails to get his head on the ball which runs clear from danger.
15'
Perhaps as expected, it's all Liverpool at the moment in terms of possession but they're struggling to create chances beyond a Sunderland side which is sitting incredibly deep inside their own half, making it difficult for the hosts.
13'

Liverpool get us underway here at Anfield. The man in charge of the cards for today's encounter is Robert Madley.
Good afternoon and welcome to our LIVE text commentary on today's Premier League clash between Liverpool and Sunderland from Anfield. Kick-off is at 3:00pm GMT.
Following their crazy 5-4 win over Norwich City last month, Liverpool have since gone on to book their place in the Capital One Cup final, while also failing to score in their last three matches in all competitions. You just don't know what you're going to get from them at the moment.
Sunderland, on the other hand, have picked up four points from their last four league games in their quest to avoid the drop. The Black Cats narrowly lost 1-0 to Manchester City last time out, but they played well on the day and will therefore be heading to Merseyside this afternoon in good spirits.
TEAM NEWS: Liverpool have made one change to the side which started their 2-0 defeat against Leicester City in their last league game. Joe Allen comes into the starting eleven in place of Lucas Leiva, who drops to the bench. Daniel Sturridge is also amongst the substitutes for the Reds today.
TEAM NEWS: Sam Allardyce has made two alterations to the team which started Sunderland's 1-0 loss at the hands of Man City on Tuesday. Duncan Watmore and new boy Wahbi Khazri both get the chance to impress from the get go this afternoon for the Wearsiders.
Both sets of players are now stripped and raring to go as they leave the tunnel and enter on to the field here at Anfield. We are just moments away from seeing the action start to unfold.
HALF TIME: LIVERPOOL 0-0 SUNDERLAND
Both sets of players head off the pitch and down the tunnel for the half-time interval here at Anfield. Neither side could find the breakthrough in a turgid first half of football in truth, with the scoreline remaining 0-0.
Sunderland managed to stifle Liverpool for most of the opening period by sitting deep inside their own half. However, they have lacked sparkle on the counter-attack and need to improve going forward after the break.
Liverpool, on the flip side, haven't managed to get into their rhythm yet. They need to add more zip to their play in general, though having to make two enforced substitutes hasn't helped them.
FULL TIME: LIVERPOOL 2-2 SUNDERLAND
Jermain Defoe fired home a last-gasp equaliser as Sunderland came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield. Roberto Firmino had earlier scored and set up the other for the Reds, but his side couldn't hold on.
Adam Johnson gave Sunderland hope of a late comeback by sneaking a free-kick past Simon Mignolet, who should have done much better, but Defoe smashed home a late leveller in front of an scarcely-full Anfield.
That's all from us here and it has been a great pleasure talking you through all of today's action from Anfield. We hope you can join us again very soon. Take care!
