Bobadilla makes space in the final third as he takes down a long ball and decides to take the responsibility all on his own, but lashes the ball well wide of the target, and that could be it.
90' +2
Can launches a ball forward for Firmino, who executes a series of step-overs and nearly manufactures space for the shot, but his effort is blocked by Stafylidis inside the area.
90'
S. Parker enters the game and replaces C. Janker.
That booking was Janker's last contribution as Parker comes on in his place.
It's now or never for Augsburg, who have gone close to a first goal in this tie at points in this match. Liverpool have only themselves to blame if they concede the back-breaking goal in stoppage time.
88'
NARROWLY OVER THE TOP! That was a real chance from a 25-yard free-kick that was lined up by Stafylidis, who curled it over the wall but inches off the top corner, with Mignolet at full stretch!
87'
C. Janker gets yellow.
Janker is cautioned for a foul on the substitute Origi.
86'
THAT WAS A HEART-IN-MOUTH MOMENT FOR LIVERPOOL! Moravek slides an excellent pass through for Caiuby, and the big forward beats his compatriot Lucas to the ball, hitting a low cross into the six-yard area that is narrowly cleared after an initial Augsburg touch!
84'
The tension is almost palpable here around Anfield, with the clock nearing on 90 minutes. One goal for Augsburg at this late period, and they will surely progress deeper into the knockout stages.
82'
MORAVEK! What a chance for the substitute to make an instant impact, as Caiuby wins another knock-down from a long throw, with the shot by the sub lashed inches wide of the post!
80'
J. Morávek enters the game and replaces Koo Ja-Cheol.
João Teixeira enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
Teixeira enters the fray for Coutinho, who worked his socks off in the attacking third, creating and getting on the end of chances, but seemed to have run out of gas in recent moments.
Koo will be pulled here for Moravek.
78'
Koo sets up on the right-hand side, and lifts a cross into the area, but Mignolet is decisive and punches the ball clear. Moments later, the Korean commits a foul and the hosts have the ball back.

Description
76'
WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEAL THE GAME! There's a mix up between two defenders on the right side of the box, and that allows Firmino the chance to force the ball into the path of Henderson, who arrives deep inside the area but doesn't put any power behind his finish and it's saved!
74'
SAVE FOR HITZ! Origi has the ball on the right side of the area, and whips a dangerous cross into the area that the Augsburg goalkeeper just manages to push away ahead of Firmino! Coutinho picks up the pieces, but his attempt on goal is deflected away.
72'
R. Bobadilla enters the game and replaces T. Werner.
That is Werner's last action of the match as he is withdrawn for Bobadilla.
NEARLY A BIG MIX UP! Moreno and Sakho get their signals all wrong, and Werner charges down the ball with Mignolet racing out to meet him. The ball spills loose after their clash, but the hosts just about manage to clear their lines.
70'
Verhaegh wastes a decent opportunity from the set-piece, as he whips the ball right into the first man. The players that lined up in the box for that one look very frustrated at the outcome.
68'
Stafylidis and Milner clatter together in a challenge, and the Liverpool man is left worse for wear. The hosts are temporarily down to 10 men as a free-kick is set to be whipped into the box.
66'
D. Origi enters the game and replaces D. Sturridge.
Sturridge has enjoyed a threatening game leading the line for the home side, but he may just have started to drop a level, and he has been replaced by Origi. Benteke stays benched.
64'
Augsburg are only a goal away, but at this point, I'm struggling to see where it will come from. They're not even winning free-kicks where they can hit and hope with a delivery into the box.
62'
A decent move from the home side, as Sturridge and Coutinho combine once again. The former slides a pass into the area intended for the latter, but the accuracy is a little lacking.
60'
One hour gone here and it's still finely poised here. The atmosphere around the ground has gone a little hushed, with Liverpool starting to labour a little in their attempts to break down Augsburg.
58'
The away fans have been a rowdy bunch here at Anfield, even though their team have been largely dominated on the night. One goal and they'll be the side heading into the last 16.
57'
Roberto Firmino gets yellow.
Firmino appears to catch Kohn in the face and gets booked.
56'
Augsburg have managed to tame the Liverpool threat in the last few minutes, causing one or two problems from crosses. The Reds problems from high balls have been well documented this season.
54'
Liverpool have picked up where they left off after the first half, pumping bodies forward in search of the second goal that they will need as a cushion, in the event that Augsburg find an away goal here.
52'
The ball is worked neatly to Sturridge on the right side of the box, but he bends the ball wide of the mark. You could see his intent as he shifted it onto his left foot, but the execution was lacking.
50'
There was a moment of panic there for Liverpool at the back, as Verhaegh floats a free-kick in towards Caiuby, who causes trouble in the area and has Mignolet stranded, but the offisde flag comes to Liverpool's rescue.
48'
SO, SO CLOSE TO A SECOND! Coutinho pulls the strings once again, pinging a lovely pass towards Sturridge, who shapes to bend his finish into the bottom corner, but misses by an inch! Half of the crowd were already cheering!
46'
Off we go again!
45'
Caiuby gets yellow.
Augsburg orchestrate a decent move as Kohr gets his touch right to set Stafylidis in motion down the left and the full-back goes for goal for the second time. However, this effort lacks the accuracy of his first, flying over the bar to the frustration of his team-mates.
Caiuby fails to pull out of a challenge on Coutinho, and clatters into his compatriot, getting a yellow card for his efforts.
43'
Augsburg just can't get the ball out of their own half at the moment, with Liverpool seemingly winning every 50-50 out there. They can count themselves lucky that they're only one goal out of this.
41'
Kohr has the ball on the turn, but has no idea that Henderson is bearing down on him, and spins right into the midfielder, catching him heavily on the shins. The game is halted to tend to the Liverpool captain.
39'
OFF THE POST! Can slips the ball down the line for Coutinho, but his cutback on the spin meets a defender first. However, the Brazilian keeps it alive, and plays it again to his intended target Sturridge, who smashes one against the frame of the goal!
37'
The only surprise at this stage is that this game has stayed at 1-0. Liverpool have created a series of shots that have tested Hitz, but Augsburg have had two excellent opportunities of their own.
35'
THAT COULD HAVE BEEN CATASTROPHIC! An awful back pass from Lucas lets Caiuby in down the left, and Sakho is too far away to offer cover. The Brazilian rounds Mignolet, but the angle is always against him and his side-footed finish isn't converted.
33'
Augsburg have been on the back foot throughout this match, and have been regularly breached down both flanks by the overlapping full-backs. Moreno and Clyne have had it too easy.
31'
Liverpool continue to rain shots down on the Augsburg goal, and Firmino takes aim from long range, bending one down the throat of Hitz. How long until one of these openings makes another breakthrough?
29'
HITZ COMES UP WITH THE STOP AGAIN! Moreno makes inroads down the left and whacks a low cross towards the near post, where Firmino turns a clever effort on target that is tipped over by the keeper!
27'
MIGNOLET CALLED INTO ACTION! A long, rasping drive from Stafylidis is heading towards the bottom corner, but the Liverpool keeper makes his first save of the night, pushing it away from the crowd.
26'
K. Stafylidis gets yellow.
Stafylidis gets the first card of the game for bringing down Firmino.
25'
Liverpool are hunting for this second goal as they orchestrate another fine move. Sturridge slides a pass down the line for Firmino, who doesn't lift his head as he flicks it back into the path of Coutinho, whose strike gets narrowly deflected out for a corner.
23'
GOOD SAVE FROM HITZ! Sturridge is starting to stamp his influence all over this game, and turns provider once again, fooling his man on the left side before sliding the ball into Coutinho, who ghosts into the box ahead of Altintop, forcing a stop from Hitz's legs with a low strike.
21'
Nearly a bad turnover from the visitors, who are losing their nerve here. A poor back pass sells Hitz short, but he just manages to clear his lines ahead of the charging Sturridge.
19'
OFFSIDE! Sturridge starts the move with a lovely turn to control a high pass, and Liverpool keep the ball around the edge of the area. Firmino crosses the ball towards the English striker, but the flag is up on the far side as he started his run to the near post too early.
17'
Firmino throws away a great opportunity, as he latches onto a pass over the top from Henderson, leaving him with space on the right side and one man in support. However, he hammers a wild volley across the face of goal and Sturridge, who was in the area, looks furious that he didn't receive any consideration in that move.
15'
Moreno tok a huge risk there, rolling around on the turf after a challenge in anticipation of a whistle which eventually came. Had the referee allowed play to continue, however, then the flank would have been badly exposed.
13'
Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch at the moment, with Augsburg generally lacking time on the ball, but doing a decent job of defending against the Liverpool pressure, as Janker chests a cross safely into the waiting arms of Hitz.
11'
Augsburg are showing a few fleeting glimpses that they can cause Liverpool problems. Caiuby, who was successful in disrupting the Reds in the first leg, causes Henderson to cough up possession in his own half, but the visitors can't make anything of that.
9'
Altintop misses the target with a half-chance, but at the moment, it's Liverpool back in possession of the ball and looking to suck the life out of the visitors in the early stages.
7'
Liverpool, full of confidence from that opening goal, push forward again via Firmino, who then decides to lay one off for Sturridge to do the rest, but the striker can't get out from under his own feet, scuffing the shot and missing the chance.
5'
Penalty goal scored by J. Milner for Liverpool!
MILNER MAKES NO MISTAKE! The midfielder keeps his head to drive the penalty into the bottom corner, with Hitz guessing correctly but failing to keep it out!
4'
LIVERPOOL HAVE A PENALTY! Kohr is penalised for a handball inside the aea following a corner, after failing to keep his arm down during a headed clearance. Augsbug protest, but the decision stands.
2'
Augsburg show their intent to notch an early away goal as they probe in the Liverpool half, before Koo tees up Caiuby for a strike from the edge of the area, only to fail to keep his attempt down.
1'
We're off!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 clash between Liverpool and Augsburg at Anfield. The first meeting between these sides in Germany ended goalless, so there's all to play for with a place in the last 16 on the line. Stick with us for all the action.
With FA Cup action happening last weekend, Liverpool, knocked out of that competition, enjoyed a week off leading up to tonight's match. They'll need it too, with the League Cup final against Manchester City to come at Wembley in three days' time. The Reds haven't advanced past this stage in the tournament since the 2010-11 season.
Augsburg warmed up for this clash with a narrow 1-0 win over Hannover in the Bundesliga, thanks to Koo Ja-cheol's first-half goal. That result put more distance between them and the relegation zone, with four points now separating them from 16th place Werder Bremen. This is the farthest that the German side have gone in any European competition, so every step from now makes history.
Liverpool are unbeaten in five European home games since falling 3-0 to Real Madrid in their last foray in the Champions League last season. What's more, the Reds have never lost in 12 competitive outings against German opposition at Anfield, winning nine and keeping 11 clean sheets in that span. However, Augsburg have been regular scorers this season on the continent, with 12 goals in the group stages. The 0-0 result in the first leg was the only time that any side has been able to stop them hitting the back of the net in Europe.
Jurgen Klopp has surprisingly named Lucas Leiva in the starting XI ahead of Kolo Toure - with the Brazilian taking the Ivorian's spot in the centre of defence. Daniel Sturridge starts up top on his own with Roberto Firmino tucking in behind him, and Philippe Coutinho further back on the left side of a four-man midfield.
Augsburg's leading European scorer Raul Bobadilla, who was taken off injured in the opening frame of the first leg, is only fit enough for the bench, with Caiuby, his impressive replacement in that game, stepping in from the start this time. Koo's heroics over the weekend also sees him maintain his place in the XI.
And that will do it for the first half from Anfield, as Liverpool hold a deserved 1-0 lead at the break, thanks to Milner's penalty after five minutes. The hosts have dominated this one, creating the majority of the chances, but one goal for Augsburg and they'll be staring down the barrel of elimination. Finely poised at this stage, and all to play for in the second period. Stay tuned.
And that will indeed do it from Anfield as Liverpool will see their name in the hat when the draw for the round of 16 is made. A James Milner penalty was the only goal over nearly 200 minutes of football throughout this tie. The Premier League outfit were the better side, but had their scares to deal with thanks to a few Augsburg chances throughout this match. That's all we have time for, thanks for joining us!
