B. Matuidi has scored a goal for France! Assist by A. Martial.
Assist Anthony Martial
GOAL!!!! FRANCE HIT BACK IMMEDIATELY! Brilliant play by France, as Martial plays Matuidi into the area and the PSG man squeezes an excellent finish past Cillessen.
87'
M. Sissoko enters the game and replaces P. Pogba.
86'
I. Afellay has scored a goal for Netherlands! Assist by M. Depay.
GOAL!!!! THE DUTCH ARE LEVEL! The home side work the corner to the edge of the area where Afellay is waiting, and the midfielder produces an expert finish into the bottom-left corner.
85'
The Dutch charge forward up the right and Janssen produces a clever flick to release Promes into the area. The attacker looks to get the shot away, but Matuidi gets back and puts it behind for a corner.
84'
Still it is France who look the more likely to find the net here. Pogba has been lively and is getting forward to great effect, but this time Martial's cross is blocked and the Dutch spring a counter.
81'
V. Janssen enters the game and replaces L. de Jong.
On comes debutant Janssen, who is enjoying a fine campaign with AZ. He replaces De Jong.
79'
Free-kick now for France on the left, as Gignac lures Veltman into a foul. This is a great position for a delivery. Payet caused problems from this area in the first half.
78'
P. van Aanholt enters the game and replaces J. Willems.
Willems has been in the wars today. He finally gets a rest and on in his place comes Van Aanholt.

Description
76'
G. Wijnaldum enters the game and replaces D. Klaassen.
Another Netherlands change now, as Klaasen - who has had a good game - makes way for Wijnaldum.
73'
A. Gignac enters the game and replaces O. Giroud.
Another France switch now, as Gignac replaces Giroud in attack.
72'
More threatening play from the home side. Depay tests the centre of the French defence and he releases De Jong into the area, who holds it up well and tees up Klaasen on the edge of the area, with the Ajax man shooting straight at Mandanda.
70'
B. Matuidi gets yellow.
Out comes the yellow card for the first time today, as Matuidi grabs a chunk of Bazoer's shirt and tugs him back to prevent the youngster from latching on to a pass. This is a promising position for the hosts.
68'
We have a brief pause in play now, as Willems is forced off the pitch momentarily due to blood coming from his mouth.
66'
Promes has been quiet since the break but he bursts into life on the right flank this time. He runs at Digne and gets past him, forcing himself into the area before being hauled down, but the referee waves play on.
64'
Great run from Martial, who has been lively since coming on. He darts in from the left in typical fashion, with the ball glued to his right foot. He gets to the edge of the area and gets a shot away, but Blind blocks it behind for a corner. The set-piece ultimately comes to nothing, as the Frenchman fouls his Manchester United team-mate.
62'
Good football from the visitors. Depay and Promes link on the left and the latter gets a cross in towards the back post. Klaasen is waiting and he meets it with a powerful volley, but it ultimately goes well wide.
60'
OFF THE POST! Payet is having fun out there. The West Ham star cuts in from the right and sends a controlled right-footed effort towards goal, but the right-hand post keeps it out. That would've been a fine goal.
58'
Depay tries to trick his way past Pogba in his own half but is tackled. He then tries to muscle the ball back but is just brushed off by the Juve star, who then curls a cross in towards Giroud, only for it to be slightly too heavy.
56'
That's a hefty tackle from Jallet, as the right back kicks Willems on the thigh. The Netherlands left-back certainly felt that, but the culprit avoids a booking.
54'
France are seeing all of the ball once again now. They are patiently knock it around, with that midfield still dictating proceedings. Kante has settled in well.
52'
France are back in possession and looking to test the Dutch. Kante gets his first involvement and he confidently charges towards the defence. Eventually the move comes to an end as Martial is knocked over in the area by Veltman, but no penalty given.
49'
Well, with that goal and all the changes, it is certainly a busy start to the second half and undoubtedly how the neutrals will have wanted it to have restarted. Hopefully this second half will be more of a contest.
47'
L. de Jong has scored a goal for Netherlands! Assist by M. Depay.
GOAL!!!! THE DUTCH PULL ONE BACK! An immediate impact from Depay, as the Manchester United winger curls a fine free-kick into the danger area and De Jong glances it into the goal beyond Mandanda.
Assist Memphis Depay
46'
I. Afellay enters the game and replaces V. van Dijk.
L. Digne enters the game and replaces P. Evra.
A. Martial enters the game and replaces A. Griezmann.
N. Kanté enters the game and replaces L. Diarra.
M. Depay enters the game and replaces J. Clasie.
Van Dijk heads for the bench and is replaced by Afellay, suggesting a change of tactics for the hosts.
Off we go for the second half. There were several changes as the break, which will be confirmed in due course.
Blind has seen enough of Clasie in midfield and the Southampton man is replaced by Depay.
The first of France's three changes sees Martial come on for Griezmann in attack.
There is a France debut now for Leicester City's N'Golo Kante. The midfield sensation comes on for Diarra.
Evra is the other Frenchman to make way, with Roma's Digne on in his place.
45' +3
HALF-TIME!
45' +2
Jallet has been a good outlet so far. He finds space again on the right flank and gets a cross into the Dutch area, but Blind blocks it behind for a corner.
45' +1
There will be two minutes added on here.
44'
That's a bit better from the home side, as Veltman manages to squeeze a cross into the area from the right. Klaasen's presence troubles the visitors, but France escape with ease nonetheless.
41'
France are back in control of things and dictating possession. They look more than happy to just bide their time for the moment, though. It looks as though this is petering out ahead of half-time.
39'
The Dutch are seeing a little more of the ball again, but they are not doing a great deal with it. Promes does look a threat, but few others are doing much to hurt France. It's all a little flat from their perspective.
37'
R. Bazoer enters the game and replaces W. Sneijder.
Sneijder makes way. On comes Bazoer, who gets a big ovation as he enters the pitch he plays on most weeks with Ajax.
36'
We have a brief pause in play now, as Sneijder seeks medical attention. The captain appears to be in a lot of discomfort and, although he is walking off, he does not look like he will be able to continue, as he passes the armband to Blind.
34'
Free-kick now to the Dutch about 30 yards from goal, as Promes drops in to pick up possession and lures Koscielny out. The defender gets too aggressive and concedes a foul. The set-piece causes little bother, though, as Klaasen is caught offside.
32'
Payet stands over the free-kick and curls a delightful delivery into the area. A host of France players look destined to get a touch, with several lining up. But it ultimately misses all of them and sails just wide of Cillessen's post.
31'
The Dutch can't handle the France frontline's movement at the moment. Giroud holds the ball up well and brings Griezmann into play in a central position. The Atletico man is tripped by Veltman, who is given a talking to by the referee.
30'
Again Matuidi and Payet combine to great effect, with the PSG man winning possession, finding the forward and receiving a return pass in behind Blind. He then crosses left-footed towards Giroud, but the striker accidentally handles. Free-kick.
28'
NO PENALTY! Matuidi is causing plenty of problems with his charging runs from midfield. On this occasion he cuts inside Bruma and goes to ground, seemingly getting clipped by the centre-back, but the referee ushers play to continue.
26'
GREAT SAVE! More France pressure. This time it is Jallet doing the damage, as he crosses for Griezmann and the Atletico man heads towards goal but is only denied by a fine reaction stop from Cillessen, who keeps it out with his right foot.
25'
Every time France attack they look capable of scoring. A fine flowing move involving Payet, Pogba and Giroud sees the latter clip the ball over the defence for Griezmann. He initially misses his kick but then hooks it back from Veltman and knocks it into the area. Blind cuts it out and clears before the Arsenal striker can pounce, but Griezmann then heads just wide as the ball is played back into the box.
24'
Promes is one Dutch player who looks capable of troubling France. Again he runs through the middle, but this time he plays a give-and-go with De Jong on the edge of the area and then gets a half-volley away, which is well held by Mandanda. Good play from the Spartak Moscow man.
22'
There certain can't be any criticism of the atmosphere here today. There is a constant roar coming from the fans, as a Mexican wave makes its way around the stadium. It is exceptionally loud, but can they inspire their players?
20'
NEARLY A THIRD! France are ripping through Netherlands at will. Evra plays a through ball into the area for Matuidi, who manages to latch on to it as Clasie's attempt to cut it out fails. The PSG star plays a teasing cross into the area and Griezmann pounces with a diving header, but it goes just over.
18'
Better from the home side. Promes and Willems work it cleverly down the left, as the winger is released into the side of the area by the full-back. He manages to get to the byline and cut a pass back into the danger zone, but Klaasen is crowded out and France escape.
16'
The French really are playing some fine football at the moment. Of course, there is the possibility that the Dutch team is affected by the Cruyff news and the general circumstances surrounding this match, but the visitors have started very well.
14'
And there we have it, the match is paused as we reach the 14th minute, with the entire stadium rising and applauding in memory of Cruyff. The Dutch fans unveil a giant photo of the former Ajax great at one end of the stadium.
13'
O. Giroud has scored a goal for France! Assist by B. Matuidi.
Assist Blaise Matuidi
France are playing some lovely football here. Payet clips a delightful cross-field pass out to Jallet, who plays it infield to Griezmann. The Atletico star returns it to the right-back with the outside of his left foot, encouraging the run forward, but Willems covers well.
GOAL!!!! FRANCE HAVE A SECOND! The home side fail to clear their lines effectively following a corner and Matuidi nods the ball back into the area. Giroud is the quickest to react and he smashes the ball goalwards on the swivel, finding the bottom-right corner.
12'
The Netherlands receive some respite, as they get themselves back on the front foot. Promes causes problems as he runs at the heart of the France defence and he ultimately wins a free-kick 30 yards from goal. Sneijder then smashes the resulting kick into the wall.
10'
France's plan certainly seems to be in full swing here, as this time Varane plays a hopeful long pass over the Netherlands defence. Payet chases it down towards the corner flag and forces an error from Bruma, stealing the ball back in the process. He manages to get a cross into the danger zone, but Van Dijk heads away.
8'
Almost another opportunity for the French, as Diarra pings a lofted ball over the Dutch defence from way back in his own half. Griezmann just about manages to bring it down, but he is adjudged to have tripped the chasing Blind. A let-off for the home side.
6'
A. Griezmann has scored a goal for France!
GOAL!!!! FRANCE TAKE THE LEAD! What a strike from Griezmann! The Atletico Madrid man steps up to the free-kick and sends an unstoppable effort into the top-left corner, probably the smallest target to aim for considering Cillessen's positioning. A wonderful start for the visitors.
5'
France remain on the front foot, keeping the Dutch under pressure. Eventually Griezmann picks up possession on the edge of the area and he is bundled to the floor by a combination of defenders. This is a great position.
4'
Much better from Payet. The West Ham man darts inside after finding space and he curls a fine effort towards the bottom-right corner from 25 yards. Cillessen makes a crucial save, and then Jallet flashes the rebound across the face of goal.
3'
Good play by the hosts, as they put France under pressure. Klaasen almost pokes a pass through to Promes, only for Diarra to get a foot in. Payet then tries to play his way out of danger and is tackled, but the following cross from Veltman is headed clear.
2'
There is Payet's first involvement and he will hope it isn't a sign of things to come, as he picks up possession just inside the Dutch half and then passes it straight out of play rather than finding Evra.
1'
Off we go! The hosts get us started.
Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage of this international friendly clash between Netherlands and France. I will be describing the action for you today, as these two sides go head-to-head in what will no doubt be an emotionally charged day at the Amsterdam Arena, just a day after the passing of Dutch legend and all-round football visionary Johan Cruyff.
TEAM NEWS:
Netherlands starting XI (5-3-2): Cillessen; Veltman, Bruma, Van Dijk, Blind, Willems; Clasie, Sneijder, Klaassen; L. De Jong, Promes.
Netherlands subs: to follow.
France subs: to follow.
France starting XI (4-3-3): Mandanda; Jallet, Varane, Koscielny, Evra; Pogba, Diarra, Matuidi; Griezmann, Giroud, Payet.
As one might expect, given the tragic news of Cruyff's passing yesterday, this match is going to be little more than a sideshow to remembering the Dutch great. It has been said that no one has had such a positive influence in football over the last 50 years, with his brand of 'total football' encapsulating many with the Netherlands and Ajax, and it is still a term which is bandied about today, with no one seemingly able to replicate it in quite such fashion. Cruyff will also go down as one of the main inspirations behind Barcelona's current success with La Masia and their philosophies, which draw comparisons with the styles and structures he implemented in his time with his national team and at the Amsterdam giants.
In memory of Cruyff, you can expect a tribute to the Dutch icon in the 14th minute, the number he wore on the back of his shirt for much of his playing career. During last night's match between Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam, the players halted play in that minute and applauded - whether we can expect something similar today is unclear, but no doubt the roof will be raised and emotions will be plain to see all around the stadium.
Nevertheless, there is a match to be played tonight and it sees Euro 2016 hosts France face a tricky test, one which they hope will prepare them for a tournament full of matches against strong opposition. The Dutch endured a terrible qualfication campaign and ultimately failed to secure passage to the competition, but they will no doubt be keen to produce a good display in tribute to Cruyff. Coach Danny Blind has made a few changes from their last friendly against Wales in November, with neither Bas Dost nor Arjen Robben involved today. Joel Veltman, Jetro Willems, Davy Klaasen and Luuk de Jong all come into the team, however, while Memphis Depay starts on the bench.
France coach Didier Deschamps is using this as an opportunity to experiment a little and, while there are few major surprises, he has afforded Lassana Diarra a start in midfield alongside Blaise Matuidi and Paul Pogba, while Olivier Giroud and Dimitri Payet get the nod in attack. The West Ham star has enjoyed a stunning first season in the Premier League and has battled his way back into his coach's reckoning after seemingly being out of his thoughts. Today represents a major chance to effectively secure his place in the squad.
The two teams are out on the pitch, with the respective national anthems under way. Kick-off is just a few moments away!
After a minute's silence for the recent attacks in Brussels, we are ready to get started.
The referee brings the first half to a close, with France deservedly comfortable 2-0 leaders. The Dutch have hardly troubled their visitors at all, with Deschamps' men clearly a level above their hosts. One might argue that the Netherlands team has been affected emotionally by the Cruyff news, but at the same time they also do not possess players of the calibre of Griezmann and Matuidi, who got the goals.
The referee brings things to a halt, as France run out 3-2 winners at the Amsterdam Arena. Few can say that was not a fitting tribute to Johan Cruyff, as the two sides played out an entertaining match. The Dutch found themselves 2-0 down and admirably fought back to level things up, with Afellay making a huge difference at the break. However, France's superior class ultimately shone through and Matuidi's late winner was probably just about deserved from their perspective. Nevertheless, Deschamps has plenty to ponder, with his team seemingly struggling to stay switched on at times.
