89'
The Everton defender is back on his feet, much to the relief of everyone. He will now be looking to help his side find an equaliser in the closing stages of this match.
88'
There is a concern for England as Stones stays down after he overstretched for the ball. Everton will have their fingers crossed as he takes a moment to gather himself.
86'
Leicester's Drinkwater will be hoping that his 84-minute-long debut was enough to convince Hodgson ahead of the European Championship. He kept everything neat and tidy this evening, just like he has done all season in the Premier League.
84'
E. Dier enters the game and replaces D. Drinkwater.
Drinkwater's debut comes to an end and he can be pleased with his performance tonight. Eric Dier comes on in his place.
83'
Kane finds some space 25 yards out and tries his luck with a left-footed effort. It is ambitious but, in the end, not far wide of the target.
81'
D. Alli enters the game and replaces J. Milner.
P. van Aanholt enters the game and replaces J. Willems.
Another change for England sees Milner's memorable night come to an end. He is withdrawn in favour of Dele Alli.
Meanwhile, a change for the Netherlands sees Patrick van Aanholt replace Willems.

England were incensed not to have been awarded a free-kick and surrounded the referee in protest. They need to dust themselves down now, though, and search for an equaliser.
Minute
Description
78'
M. van Ginkel enters the game and replaces R. Bazoer.
That was Bazoer's last involvement, as he goes off to be replaced by Marco van Ginkel.
76'
L. Narsingh has scored a goal for Netherlands! Assist by V. Janssen.
England have not beaten the Netherlands since their memorable 4-1 victory at Euro 96. They have 14 minutes to change that, as they search for a winning goal.
NARSINGH GIVES THE NETHERLANDS THE LEAD!!! Should a foul have been given, though? Janssen appears to foul Jagielka as he latches onto Bazeor's through ball. The referee is not interested, though, and the striker plays it to the far post, where an unmarked Narsingh slots home.
Despite what looked like a foul in the build-up, Janssen showed good composure to pick out Narsingh.
74'
Walker gets the better of Willems and delivers a dangerous cross into the area. Zoet has been sharp this evening and is again, as he comes out to punch clear.
72'
With Wayne Rooney injured, this is a great opportunity for Kane and Vardy to form a partnership and stake their claim for places in the starting 11 against Russia on June 11.
70'
H. Kane enters the game and replaces A. Lallana.
P. Jagielka enters the game and replaces C. Smalling.
England make another double change. Phil Jagielka comes on in place of Smalling in the first swap.
The other sees Lallana make way for Harry Kane, who will partner Vardy up front for the last 20 minutes.
69'
Walcott looks to get in behind the defence and latch onto Milner's neat ball. Willems appeared to clip the back of his ankles, but the referee is not interested on this occasion.
68'
GREAT BURST! Walcott suddenly turns away from Willems and dashes into the area. He gets a shot away, but cannot keep it down in the end.
65'
England can be pleased with the way they have responded to being pegged back by the Dutch. There has been more urgency in their play and need to keep it going.
63'
GOOD BLOCK! Stones threads a neat through ball into the path of Walcott. The substitute is very well denied by some fantastic last-ditch defending from the Dutch, however.
61'
GREAT STRIKE! Vardy receives the ball in space and unleashes a thunderous effort from 25 yards out. Zoet has to watch it all the way and makes an important save.
59'
Walcott is on for his 43rd England cap this evening, while Clyne is making his 11th appearance in a Three Lions shirt.
57'
T. Walcott enters the game and replaces D. Sturridge.
N. Clyne enters the game and replaces D. Rose.
J. Bruma gets yellow.
Bruma is the first player into the book this evening. He caught Vardy late with his trailing leg and conceded a free-kick.
England make that double substitution. The first change sees Sturridge make way for Walcott.
Meanwhile, Rose is given a breather as he goes off to be replaced by Clyne.
56'
There is activity on the England bench with Theo Walcott getting ready to come on, while Nathaniel Clyne is also getting stripped off by the looks of it.
54'
WELL HELD! Drinkwater makes a vital header away before he is struck by Bazeor's vicious effort. Forster does well not to be wrong-footed and smothers the ball.
52'
England look to respond as Sturridge takes on Blind before finding Milner. The skipper sits a cross up towards Vardy at the far post, but Veltman is well positioned to head clear.
50'
Penalty goal scored by V. Janssen for Netherlands!
THE NETHERLANDS ARE LEVEL!!! Janssen steps up to the spot on his first start for his country. He makes no mistake as he calmly sends Forster the wrong way.
PENALTY TO THE NETHERLANDS! A mistake from Stones is pounced upon by Janssen, who's shot is well saved by Forster. Narsingh drills his subsequent cross into the arm of Rose, who is rather harshly penalised as the referee points to the spot.
49'
Barkley and Milner link up well and the former puts his foot on the accelerator into the heart of the Dutch defence. The ball eventually comes to Lallana, who's bending shot goes off target.
47'
GOOD TRY! England go straight onto the attack. Walker's throw-in finds Sturridge, who gets his shot away from a tight angle, but Zoet gets down well to smother the ball.
46'
KICK-OFF! The referee blows his whistle and the Netherlands get the ball rolling after the break.
45' +1
The referee blows his whistle and brings the first half to a close.
44'
England deserved that goal for their play over the last 10 minutes. They gained the upper hand on the Dutch, but are now holding out for half-time with less than 60 seconds to go.
42'
That is two goals in two games for Vardy, as he stakes his claim for a starting place at Euro 2016. He was in the right place at the right time to finish off a wonderful move from England.
40'
J. Vardy has scored a goal for England! Assist by K. Walker.
LOVELY PLAY FROM ENGLAND - VARDY GIVES THEM THE LEAD!!! Milner's pass is left for Lallana by Sturridge on the edge of the area. The Liverpool man cleverly turns before sliding the ball through for Walker, who calmly squares it for Vardy to side-foot into the roof of the net.
Walker showed great composure to square the ball for Vardy.
39'
The atmosphere lifts inside Wembley as England launch another quickfire counter attack. Barkley leads the charge before finding Milner out wide, but the skipper's cross is well dealt with by the Dutch.
37'
GOOD EFFORT! England take a quick free-kick in the centre of the pitch. Barkley cleverly turns away from his marker before unleashing a fierce strike, which bounces just wide of the far post.
36'
L. Narsingh enters the game and replaces Q. Promes.
Promes is unable to continue after failing to shake off his earlier knock. He goes off to be replaced by Luciano Narsingh.
35'
The two teams may still be in deadlock, but Hodgson will be very encouraged by what he has seen from England. They have raised the tempo of their game and looking a lot more dangerous.
33'
WELL CLEARED! Milner's delivery breaks kindly for Stones to strike after Barkley's failed attempt at a spectacular scissor-kick. Janssen is well positioned, however, and makes an important clearance inside the six-yard box.
32'
More good football from England sees Rose pull the ball back for Sturridge, who's shot is blocked. It eventually comes to Barkley and his cross is deflected behind for a corner.
30'
A drilled ball down the left flank is latched onto by a speedy Afellay. He pulls it across the area, but Drinkwater anticipates the situation and tidies up nicely for England.
28'
GOOD PLAY FROM ENGLAND! Smalling wins possession on the halfway line and launches a dangerous attack for England. Some neat one-touch football sees Rose find Vardy, who fires his shot high and wide of the target. The Three Lions will be encouraged by that, though.
26'
GOOD SAVE! Some space opens up in front of Wijnaldum on the edge of the penalty area. The Newcastle United midfielder looks to bend the ball into the far corner, but Forster springs across well to beat it away.
24'
The Dutch were the last side to score more than two goals against England at Wembley. That came during their 3-2 victory in February 2012, while the only other side to achieve the feat was Croatia in 2007.
22'
England are looking comfortable in possession so far this evening, but there is an evident lack of movement off the ball. They have been a little slow out of the blocks tonight.
20'
There is a slight break in play as Promes goes down after appearing to jar his right knee. Following all the injury setbacks the Dutch have suffered prior to this game, seeing the Spartak Moscow player limp off will be the last thing they want.
18'
England should fancy their chances this evening. They have won nine consecutive games at Wembley, where they have lost just twice in 20 matches under Hodgson.
16'
GOOD TRY! Promes and Wijnaldum play a neat one-two down the right flank. The ball comes to Janssen, who tries his luck with a powerful effort that is well held by Forster.
14'
As expected, applause rings around Wembley in the 14th minute in honour of Dutch great Johan Cruyff, who died last week at the age of 68.
11'
The free-kick is wasted as England play it short and they are quickly on the back foot. Milner is slow reacting to a Netherlands throw-in and allows Depay to get in behind, but his shot is off target in the end.
9'
England have a free-kick on the near touchline after Sturridge is brought down. This is a good opportunity for the Three Lions to ask questions of their opponents in defence.
7'
PENALTY?! Veltman darts into the area from the right flank and is caught by Rose, but the referee points for a goal-kick rather than the penalty spot. The England left-back got away with that one.
5'
We should be in for a very close game this evening. Four of the last five meetings between the sides have ended in draws, while Arjen Robben's stoppage-time strike secured a 3-2 victory for the Dutch last time around.
3'
England have made a bright start. Vardy's pace causes problems down the right flank and forces a corner. Milner's subsequent delivery is disappointing, however, and goes behind for a goal-kick.
1'
KICK-OFF! The referee blows his whistle and England get the match underway kicking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to LIVE text commentary from Wembley Stadium. England take on the Netherlands in a mouth-watering International Friendly.
In the 20th meeting between the sides, both will use tonight to their advantage for very different reasons. England are aiming to build some momentum ahead of Euro 2016, while the Netherlands' rebuilding process is underway following their failure to qualify for the tournament.
As expected, Roy Hodgson rings the changes following the morale-boosting 3-2 victory over World Champions Germany on Saturday. James Milner captains the side on his 58th International appearance and there is a debut for Leicester City's Danny Drinkwater, while Daniel Sturridge appears in an England shirt for the first time in 18 months. Chris Smalling, Danny Rose and Adam Lallana are the only survivors from the weekend.
Danny Blind saw his Dutch side narrowly lose 3-2 to France after coming from 2-0 on Saturday. He makes six changes from that game, as Wesley Sneijder, Jasper Cillessen and Davy Klaassen have all withdrawn from the squad injured. Four of this starting 11 ply their trade in the English Premier League.
HERE THEY COME! The players make their way out onto the field and kick-off is just moments away. First of all, though, the national anthems...
Also, there will now be a minute's silence as a mark of respect following the tragic events that unfolded in Brussels last week.
NETHERLANDS SUBS: Vorm, Van Aanholt, Karsdorp, Letschert, Van Dijk, Clasie, Van Ginkel, De Jong, Narsingh, Huntelaar, Vermeer.
HALF-TIME: ENGLAND 1-0 NETHERLANDS
Jamie Vardy's goal is the difference between the two sides at the break. England increased their tempo as the half wore on and deserved their lead after gaining the upper hand.
The players are making their way back out onto the field and the second half is imminent.
FULL-TIME: ENGLAND 1-2 NETHERLANDS
England just came up short against the Netherlands in their last game before Roy Hodgson names his squad for Euro 2016. Jamie Vardy gave the Three Lions a first-half lead, but goals from Vincent Janssen and Luciano Narsingh after the break were enough to turn the match around in Oranje's favour.
That's all from Wembley. Thank you for following the LIVE coverage of this match - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, have a very good evening!
