É. Lamela has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by D. Rose.
M. Depay enters the game and replaces Mata.
GOALLL! That surely seals the win now as Lamela notches the home side's third goal of the afternoon. Spurs have been rampant in the past five minutes with three strikes, and it's through another surging run from Rose as he raids down the left and picks out Lamela inside the box. The Argentine struck the ball first time to find the bottom corner.
Rose has been excellent all afternoon, and gets a reward by finding Lamela with a lovely low ball before the midfielder did the rest.
United make a change as Depay comes on for Mata, too little too late now.

64'
Kane tries to take the ball down the left, but has a heavy touch and cannot stop the ball from going out of play. It hasn't been one of his best displays so far, but he is more than capable of producing something out of nothing.
62'
CHANCE! Martial almost produces a moment of magic to open the scoring. The Frenchman puts on a burst of pace to get inbetween Dier and Walker, and then uses his skill to get around Alderweireld. He shoots with power towards the net, but Lloris is there to beat the ball away before Spurs clear the danger. The 20-year-old did so well until the finish when he fired straight at the keeper.
58'
CHANCE! The ball falls kindly for Lingard in the Spurs' box, but he cannot get his strike on target. The England man did have defenders in front of him, but he should have at least tested Lloris from that distance.
57'
Spurs are applying pressure in the final third, but just haven't conjured the moment of quality needed to break the deadlock this afternoon. Plenty of time left in the game for Pochettino's men, who are looking solid at the back.
54'
Eriksen sends the ball into the feet of Kane, and the England man turns Blind to open up space for a strike at goal. He tries to curl the effort into the bottom corner, but it lacks the power to beat De Gea.

Lloris fortunate to get away with a loose clearance as his pass went straight into the path of Martial, but the referee blows his whistle for a foul on Alderweireld.
36'
The pace has gone out of the game which will suit the visitors. Spurs had a five-minute spell where they were electric in the final third, Pochettino will want to see more from his team before the break.
35'
A tester for Smalling as a long ball travels over the top of the United defence, but he manages to get enough on his header back to De Gea with Alli lurking.
31'
Spurs have upped the ante and are dominating the game at the moment. United are hanging in there, and are trying to settle back into their possession game.
29'
CHANCE! Walker becomes the latest Spurs player to miss a golden opportunity. The defender does extremely well down the right flank on a surging run as he bustles past Rojo, but he fails to apply the finish as Fosu-Mensah comes across to make a vital block. Alli and Kane were in the box if Walker had lifted his head to see them.
28'
CHANCE! Spurs should be ahead as Lamela misses a free header from two yards out. The home side managed to keep the ball alive from the Kane opportunity and Eriksen sent a pinpoint cross to the back post for the Argentine, but he could only put his header wide of the post. A huge miss.
27'
CHANCE! Rose and Lamela battle to win the ball for their side in the box, and the Argentine manages to scramble the ball into the middle. De Gea comes for the ball and misses as it lands at the feet of Kane, but Blind and Smalling do just enough to prevent the striker from getting an effort away.

20'
Spurs are beginning to settle into the match, but United are still enjoying lengthy periods of possession, which will concern Pochettino.
17'
Spurs work the ball from the corner and Eriksen sends a dangerous low cross into the area, which finds Kane. The striker guides the ball towards the bottom corner, only to be denied by De Gea. However, the linesman's flag was raised for offside anyway.
16'
United press forward through Rojo and his low cross manages to travel through the Tottenham box before Eriksen gets back to clear. Spurs then break as Kane offloads to the Dane, who advances before releasing the run of Rose. The England man sends a dangerous low cross into the six-yard box, but Smalling does well to cut out the danger.
14'
Rashford shows a burst of pace to escape Dier in midfield and races towards the edge of the box. The striker tries to tap the ball into the feet of Martial, only to see his attempt go astray and kill the attack.
12'
The visitors keep the pressure on Pochettino's men with another corner, and Blind takes it short before collecting the ball again on the left. The defender hits a peach of a cross towards the middle, but the ball just evades Smalling's head. Good start by the Red Devils.
11'
Fosu-Mensah finds himself in an advanced position and takes the ball towards the edge of the box before cutting back on to his left foot. The defender strikes the ball towards the bottom corner, but his effort gets deflected behind for a corner.
9'

4'
United have settled into the game in the early stages and are knocking the ball around the pitch with relative ease. They're probing the Spurs backline, but have so far been kept at bay.
2'
Martial makes United's first foray deep into Spurs' territory as he tries to beat Walker down the left. The Frenchman comes inside on his right foot, but gets crowded out and is forced backwards.

We're underway at White Hart Lane.
Early touch for Vertonghen on his return to the team, that should settle any nerves he has over his return from a three-month injury layoff.
Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at White Hart Lane.
News from White Hart Lane that kickoff has been delayed until 4.30pm due to traffic problems around the ground, which has prevented the Manchester United team coach arriving.
If Tottenham were hoping for good news from the Stadium of Light in their battle for the Premier League title, they will have been disappointed to see Leicester brush aside struggling Sunderland. The Foxes now only need three more victories to earn the crown, which will be a truly historic achievement.
Spurs cannot do anything to change the situation with Leicester other than continue to win matches to put the pressure on the Foxes. The gap is currently 10 points at the top, meaning that Mauricio Pochettino's men can close within seven with a victory over the Red Devils today. We have a huge match on our hands this afternoon.
Tottenham come into the match on a four-match unbeaten run following their 1-1 draw with Liverpool last time out. Their last defeat came at the hands of West Ham United at the start of March, but Pochettino will know that his side cannot afford to drop any more points for the duration of the campaign.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Manchester United have found their form in the Premier League which may be enough to push them into the top four. Louis van Gaal's men have defeated Manchester City and Everton to produce back-to-back wins following a surprise defeat at The Hawthorns at the start of March. The Red Devils need a win today to close the gap on City following their triumph over West Brom yesterday to keep the gap at one point.
Tottenham Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Carroll, Chadli, Mason, Son.
Manchester United (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Fosu-Mensah, Smalling, Blind, Rojo; Schneiderlin, Carrick; Mata, Lingard, Martial; Rashford.
United Subs: Romero, Darmian, Valencia, Young, Fellaini, Herrera, Memphis.
Tottenham have made two changes from their side that drew 1-1 against Liverpool last week. Jan Vertonghen returns to the fold following a three-month layoff due to injury, and replaces Kevin Wimmer at centre-back. Son Heung-min drops to the bench as Erik Lamela takes his place in the midfield, where he will play alongside Christian Eriksen and Deli Alli just behind Harry Kane, who once again leads the line.
Van Gaal has made one change to his side that beat Everton last week, as Timothy Fosu-Mensah gets the nod over Matteo Darmian at right-back. Marcus Rashford continues to start up front, flanked either side by Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard. Juan Mata provides the link in the middle of the park, while Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin sit in front of the back four. Chris Smalling and Danny Blind anchor the centre of the defence in front of David de Gea.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch so we should be underway very shortly.
HALF-TIME: Tottenham 0-0 Manchester United
Tottenham will head into the break feeling they should be ahead as Erik Lamela missed their best chance of the half, heading wide from two yards. Harry Kane and Kyle Walker also had opportunities, but were unable to fire in front of goal. United have shown glimpses with neat touches in the final third, but have not tested Hugo Lloris yet. Both managers will want to see more from their teams after the break.
The players have emerged for the second-half, so we should be underway shortly.
FULL-TIME: Tottenham 3-0 Manchester United
Tottenham produced a sublime second-half performance to cruise past Manchester United this afternoon. Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela all got on the scoresheet within the space of five minutes to ensure that the home side closed the gap to league leaders Leicester City to seven points. There are five matches left in the campaign and Pochettino and his men will be determined to take the race to the wire. Meanwhile, United have seen their hopes of reaching the top four well and truly dented. They would have pulled within a point of Manchester City with a win this afternoon, but are now four points adrift and may have to settle for a place in the Europa League next year.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
