K. Ịheanachọ enters the game and replaces S. Agüero.
Iheanacho is thrown on late on for Aguero.
90' +2
Toure finds no one closing him down in any hurry, and takes the opportunity to hammer an effort on goal from the edge of the area, but flashes it the wrong side of the post. Looks like a late City change incoming.
90'
The home fans can smell it now and are chanting and waving flags to celebrate the seemingly inevitable advance of City into the semi-finals. Into stoppage time now and PSG are out of ideas.
88'
A long ball out of the back from Silva is chased by Lucas, but Hart is out to the very edge of his area to snare the ball. Only two minutes remaining, and it looks to be the end for PSG.
87'
F. Delph enters the game and replaces David Silva.
Delph enters the fray late on for Silva.
86'
GOAL RULED OUT! Maxwell, who hasn't got forward enough in my opinion, swings in a good delivery for Ibrahimovic to side-foot home, but the Swede failed to keep himself onside and it's chalked off.
84'
Y. Touré enters the game and replaces K. De Bruyne.
Goalscoring hero De Bruyne is applauded off as Toure comes on in his place.
IMPORTANT TOUCH! Navas does well to spot the run of Aguero towards the back post. He nearly picks him out with a bending low ball, but for a slide by Marquinhos that takes it off the Argentine's toes.
82'
As PSG push more men forward, we're seeing the space open up for City on the break. Aguero is wrestled away from a long ball by Silva, who then sees the ball back to the keeper.
80'
SAVE BY HART! Once again, the keeper comes up with the goods, striding off his line, making himself big and stopping Cavani's finish! City switched off for a moment there.
78'
It's all or nothing now for PSG here, as they stare down the barrel of a third-straight Champions League exit at the quarter-final stage. Just over 10 minutes left for them to do something about it.
Minute
Description
76'
K. De Bruyne has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Fernando.
DE BRUYNE HAS SURELY SENT CITY THROUGH! Clichy's cross from the left falls to Navas on the opposite side. His touch finds Fernando, and he quickly tees it up for the Belgian, who takes a touch inside of his man and curls a lovely one into the bottom corner!
Fernando gets another feather in his cap with the assist.
74'
PSG need someone to step up and be a hero. I think it's fair to say at this point that the game won't go to extra time - with both teams needing to score twice for that scenario to happen.
72'
Fernandinho gets yellow.
Fernandinho, who has been just as accomplished as Fernando in the heart of the midfield, gets the first blot on his copybook with a late trip on Di Maria, earning him a yellow card.
70'
Pastore sees the space open up ahead of him and he breaks forward, but he simply cannot escape the attentions of the excellent Fernando, who flattens him with a superb challenge. N'golo Kante-esque.
68'
G. van der Wiel gets yellow.
Van der Wiel follows Pastore into the referee's doghouse with a tackle on De Bruyne.
67'
J. Pastore gets yellow.
Pastore takes a chunk out of Fernandinho with a challenge, and gets booked not long after entering the game as a substitute.
66'
As abject as PSG have been in this game, all they need is a goal to crush City hearts here in Manchester. They've tested Hart three times now, and it's getting close to that time where City will abandon their attacking intent and hold onto the aggregate lead.
64'
SAVED BY HART! The England keeper hasn't put a finger out of place in this game, and after Silva made space for a header from a corner, he reacts to the bouncing ball to divert it over the bar.
62'
Less than half-hour to go now and absolutely no sign of PSG in an attacking sense. You have to give the City midfield and back four all the credit in the world for limiting their play on the ball.
61'
J. Pastore enters the game and replaces S. Aurier.
Aurier has been hauled off for a more attacking option in Javier Pastore.
60'
Fernando, who has simply been everywhere out on the field, pops up in the box to beat Marquinhos and latch onto a high ball with a header, but he can't trouble Trapp with that effort.
58'
De Bruyne combines with Aguero, and City have numbers on their side as they attack, but Navas, who takes possession, can't continue to momentum of the play and the chance dies.
56'
From a free-kick played short, Fernando zips into space down the near side, but his cross into the area from the byline is blocked for a corner. From the resulting delvery, PSG clear, and Fernandinho commits a foul on Rabiot, moments before he's taken out by Aurier.
54'
GOAL RULED OUT! Ibrahimovic slips a reverse pass through to Cavani, who squares across the face of goal for Lucas to tap in. However, the flag is up, and it turns out the Uruguayan was a hair beyond the last defender when the ball was played to hm initially.
52'
De Bruyne has adopted some really dangerous positions whenever City get on the ball. With Aguero probing the back four with his runs, the Belgian is drifting into that space in front of the defence, and has already played in the Argentine with one or two good passes.
50'
Remember, if City score, PSG need two to qualify. So far, it's hard to see where the opener will come from - if there is to be one. However, I'd give the edge to the home side at this point.
48'
HART WITH ANOTHER STOP! Cavani is taken out by Fernandinho, and Ibrahimovic faces up to Hart once again. This time, he hits it low, but the England keeper is equal to it once again and parries!
46'
Here we go again.
45' +2
Marquinhos tries to switch the play and set Cavani on his way with a long pass, but he gets it all wrong, and Otamendi can make the easiest of interceptions. The last seconds of stoppage time tick away.
45'
PSG haven't really threatened here despite all their possession, with City enjoying the better attacks by far. Silva goes down under pressure from Aurier, and is furious that a free-kick wasn't awarded.
44'
Lucas Moura enters the game and replaces T. Motta.
Lucas is the man chosen to replace Motta.
43'
Within moments of coming back on, Motta, falls back in pain gripping that same hamstring, It's clear now that he'll not be able to continue. Blanc is forced into an early substitution here.
42'
It looks like Motta will make a return here, although given that the half-time break is moments away, he'll be assessed further soon. Some quiet PSG possession here to end the opening period.
40'
First Aguero, now Motta. The midfielder clutches his hamstring, and his team-mates eventually take notice, kicking the ball out to tend to him. Some PSG fans have their head in their hands.
38'
To the relief of the fans, Aguero is back on the pitch. City try to wok an opening down the right-hand side, but Thiago Silva is out on that flank to harry his namesake David and snuff out the play.
36'
The City fans stand in worry as Aguero limps off to the sidelines. Some are fearing the worst - the Argentine has hardly had the best luck with injuries in recent years. The game continues to be paused.
34'
Problem here for Aguero, who goes down clutching his knee after he took a couple of challenges from Motta and Rabiot. He eventually lands awkwardly after jumping for the ball, and will need on-pitch treatment.
32'
There was almost a stunned silence around the Etihad as Aguero passed up that golden chance to give City a foothold in this game. The home side continue to attack, but Fernandinho gives the ball away.
30'
AGUERO HAS MISSED IT! Simply not good enough from the striker, whose effort flies about a foot or so wide of the bottom corner. Trapp made a good sprawling drive that may have covered that as well.
29'
K. Trapp gets yellow.
Really good play from Van der Wiel to start, as he burns Clichy to the byline before cutting back onto his left foot for the cross - which is anything but accurate, sailing out for a throw in on the other side.
PENALTY TO MANCHESTER CITY! No question about it - Trapp clearly brings down Aguero with a late leg after City pounced on a turnover by Aurier to set the Argentine on his way. Huge chance for the hosts and a booking for the German keeper.
28'
Manchester City have picked up their tempo in recent minutes, stringing together some good passes. Although just as I say that, Otamendi gives possession back to PSG with a wayward pass that was intended for Silva.
26'
De Bruyne pulls the strings once again, setting Silva on his way down the left. The Spaniard gets to the ball before it crosses the byline, but lashes his cross into the side netting, to the disappointment of some of his team-mates.
24'
AGUERO WITH ANOTHER LOOK! The Argentine is put through in a shooting position once again and puts his laces through the ball, but can't trouble Trapp as his effort skids across goal.
22'
Excellent work from De Bruyne, who shakes his first man and exchanges a one-two with Silva, before spraying a lovely pass for Aguero to run onto, but the angle was always against the Argentine and he sprays it wide.
20'
As is stands, every passing minute takes City a little closer to that unprecedented semi-final spot. You get the feeling that Pellegrini will still want his side to score at least once here.
18'
In other Champions League news, Real Madrid have made short work of their 2-0 first-leg deficit against Wolfsburg, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice to tie things up on aggregate.
16'
STINGER! Ibrahimovic sets up a free-kick from the edge of the box, and whacks an absolute bullet past the wall an on target, which is tipped over by Hart! It was a good height for the keeper though, and right at him.
14'
Paris Saint-Germain are the away side, but have amassed nearly 70 per cent of the ball so far. However, they're not doing enough to put pressure on the City back four. They need to score tonight, remember.
12'
Rabiot appeared primed to break through the middle and have a run at the defence, but he was tugged back by Fernandinho right in front of the referee, who gives the Brazilian a little lecture.
10'
First glimpse at an opportunity as Angel di Maria pulls the strings, threading a ball through to Edinson Cavani, but Joe Hart is off his line quickly to gather the ball before the Uruguayan.
7'
The pendulum has shifted the way of PSG now, who are the ones monopolizing the ball. There's no penetration as of yet though, just cautious possession to tease the opposition into a mistake.
4'
Not a rip-roaring start to this one by any stretch, but City, buoyed by their home support, have made an encouraging start to the match, putting together some enticing passing moves.
1'
Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Champions League quarter-final between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. A 2-2 draw from the first leg at Parc des Princes has left all to play for here, with the home side chasing a first-ever berth in the semi-finals. Stick with us for all the action.
Manchester City have been eliminated by Barcelona in each of the previous two seasons of the Champions League, and have never won a knockout fixture at home. In fact, the Citizens have only ever won one match after the group stages, but given the result of the first leg, they can reach the semis without a victory here as well. Domestically, two wins in as many games has seen them tighten their grip on fourth place, with a four-point gap on Manchester United.
PSG last reached the semi-finals back in 1995, had have gone out at this stage of the competition for the last three seasons in a row. The 2012-13 and 2013-14 campaigns saw them narrowly crash out on away goals to Barcelona and Chelsea after 3-3 aggregate scores, but a 5-1 loss over both legs to the Catalans last year was a more sobering outcome. Les Parisiens have already been crowned champions of France and are in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue, and the last four of the Coupe de France. However, this is the pot that they really want.
Two crucial away goals in the first leg have given City the advantage heading into tonight's tie. The only other encounter between these two came in the Uefa Cup back in 2008, a 0-0 stalemate in the group stages. The previous three Champions League ties between French and English sides have all seen the Ligue 1 outfits progress.
Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Hart; Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy; Fernando, Fernandinho; Navas, De Bruyne, Silva; Aguero.
Manchester City subs: Caballero, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Bony, Delph, Toure, Iheanacho.
Manuel Pellegrini sticks with the same side that drew 3-3 in Paris, with goalscorers Fernando and Fernandinho both retaining their places in the centre of midfield. Sergio Aguero leads the line in a familiar-looking City lineup, with ex-Arsenal full-backs Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy in the back four.
PSG (3-5-2): Trapp; Aurier, Silva, Marquinhos; Van der Wiel, Rabiot, Motta, Di Maria, Maxwell; Ibrahimovic, Cavani.
With Blaise Matuidi and David Luiz both suspended for this match, Laurent Blanc has opted for a back three of Serge Aurier, Marquinhos and Thiago Silva, with Gregory Van der Wiel and Maxwell as wing-backs. Eight of the PSG starting XI were rested against Guingamp over the weekend to prepare for this game.
And that will do it from the Etihad for now, as City and PSG are goalless at the break. The better opportunities fell the way of the home side, who had a great chance to take the lead with a penalty, but Aguero couldn't find the target. As things stand, the Citizens are going through, and Blanc's men need to score to have any chance of progress. Stay tuned for the restart in just a bit.
City are in the semi-finals for the first time! Kevin de Bruyne made sure of their progress with a well-taken strike, in a game where Aguero also missed a penalty. PSG crash out at the quarter-final stage for the fourth season in a row, and the inquiry will kick off as to how a side so dominant domestically can fail to break into the European elite. Regardless, this is City's night. That's all the time we've got, thanks for tuning in!
