Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Jesé.
Unselfish from Jese, who could have easily scored that himself.
RONALDO MAKES IT FIVE! Too simple for Real Madrid as a ball over the top finds Jese and the Portuguese both clear of the defence and onside. The former squares to the latter, which takes Guaita out of the equation and leaves a simple finish.
90'
Nacho gets yellow.
Nacho gets booked for stepping forward to challenge a Getafe player, but is back quickly to put out a fire at the back, with Scepovic nearly getting on the end of a high ball at the back post.
88'
J. Rodríguez has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Lucas Vázquez.
Lucas Vazquez has made the most of his cameo, and now has an assist after squaring for James from out wide.
Beautifully done by James! The Colombian shows twinkle-toes to side-step his man in traddic deep in the box, before slotting an accomplished finish past the static Guaita!
87'
Madrid have scored a league-high 96 goals this season, with the trio of Bale, Ronaldo and Benzema close to having 20 goals each. Getafe, remember are at the opposite end of that statistic, with 19 other teams managing more than their 28 goals.
85'
Moi Gómez gets yellow.
Moi Gomez clumsily challenges Kroos, and is booked for his troubles.
Is there hope for Getafe here? They still need two goals, mind, but have the wind in their sails, as Yoda gallops down the wing, with his cross just about being cut out for a corner, which the hosts can't make the most of.
84'
Pablo Sarabia has scored a goal for Getafe! Assist by Moi Gómez.
83'
Moi Gomez provided the final ball before Sarabia struck.
WONDERFUL FROM SARABIA! Getafe's most likely source of a breakthrough does just that, lifting a tremendous effort past Navas from long range - no chance for the keeper!
82'
Yoda, who has bee playing as a makeshift left-back since Pereira's departure, gets down the flank and tees up Rodriguez, but the Getafe midfielder can't find the target. One or two late glimpses for them.
80'
Alvaro Vazquez gets away with a clumsy barge into the back of Jese, but the referee perhaps takes sympathy on Getafe by not awarding the penalty. Moments later, Vigaray puts his body on the line again and nearly gets a painful knock for his troubles.
78'
Pedro León gets yellow.
SAVED BY NAVAS! Madrid line up six players on the goal-line along with the keeper. Getafe try to execute from the dead-ball, touching it for Sarabia to smash, but the Costa Rican is off his line as soon as possible to parry.
Pedro Leon is booked for getting too aggressive with Pepe - bit of an oxymoron there.
Minute
Description
76'
INFRACTION INSIDE THE BOX! Chaos at the near post inside the Madrid area, as Getafe scramble to turn the ball home. A touch by Marcelo into the arms of Navas is judged to be a back-pass, and now the hosts have an indirect free-kick on the edge of the six-yard box.
74'
CRUCIAL INTERCEPTION! Ronaldo zooms in between two players and appears to have a clear run on goal at the back post, but Vigaray, not for the first time, gets back to make a superb sliding interception!
72'
A great move by Getafe sees Sarabia hook the ball to the back post, but Scepovic can't get the telling touch. Madrid looking a little rattled at the moment - with Marcelo guilty of not getting back in defensive position in time.
70'
Twenty minutes left now, and Getafe are starting to show signs of life again, with Sarabia involved as ever out wide. He's been the only bright spot for the hosts in an attacking sense.
68'
Important to remember that la Liga operates on the head-to-head record, rather than goal difference to separate teams. In that respect, Barcelona own the tie-breaker over both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid should they finish level on points.
67'
Jesé enters the game and replaces K. Benzema.
Benzema is taken off after a splendid game, and on comes Jese.
65'
Scepovic is pulled back by Varane, leading to a decent free-kick situation for Getafe. Vergini hoists it into the area, and it finds its way to Sarabia, but his left-footed strike is saved by Navas.
63'
JAMES MISSES THE TARGET! Lucas Vazquez has been a spark plug since entering the game, and he sets up a chance for the Colombian with an astute pass, but he can't trouble Guaita.
62'
Moi Gómez enters the game and replaces Álvaro Vázquez.
That yellow card was the last action of the match for Vazquez, as Moi Gomez enters the fray in his place.
61'
Álvaro Vázquez gets yellow.
Alvaro Vazquez gets booked for obstructing Benzema.
60'
Getafe have barely managed to advance out of their own half for a good while now. Marcelo puts in a cross that is well defended initially, but the hosts aren't able to maintain possession.
58'
Lucas Vazquez gets on the ball almost immediately after his introduction, hooking in a cross from the left-hand side, but Guaita is able to get there first - he hasn't been able to say that a lot today.
57'
Lucas Vázquez enters the game and replaces G. Bale.
Bale has been taken off for Lucas Vazquez.
56'
Another mad scramble around the Getafe area sees both Bale and Ronaldo denied the chance to get shots away. Vergini eventually manages to hack the ball clear before Isco can drive to the byline.
54'
The Getafe midfield has been non-existent this afternoon. Their inability to stop their Madrid counterparts in any way, shape or form has put incredible pressure on the back four, who have also struggled.
52'
E. Buendía enters the game and replaces M. Lacen.
Nacho enters the game and replaces Dani Carvajal.
Nacho is introduced for Carvajal.
Lacen has been withdrawn after a terrible game, and on comes Buendia.
Zidane must be pleased with the professional nature of this performance. Madrid seem to be clicking into form at precisely the right time, especially with Barcelona faltering on all fronts.
50'
G. Bale has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by K. Benzema.
BALE MAKES IT 3-0! Benzema plays provider once again, facilitating a swift counter-attack with the telling through ball to the Welsh forward, who does the rest from inside the box.
Two assists now for Benzema!
48'
Madrid are right back on top here in the second half. There's been a fair bit of space on the flanks for the overlap, although los Blancos have dropped the ball already on one or two deliveries.
46'
Here we go again.
45'
RIGHT INTO THE ARMS OF THE KEEPER! Isco adopts a position centrally at the top of the box again, and he rolls the ball past his marker to let fly. This time, he gets it on target, but Guaita is all over it.
43'
D. Suárez gets yellow.
Suarez gets whistled for a challenge, and stops to give the referee a piece of his mind, which ends with a booking.
42'
Madrid deserve this advantage. They've showed a lot more attacking intent, and Getafe simply haven' convinced in either half. It's already looking like a long road back for the hosts.
40'
Isco has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by K. Benzema.
A goal and an assist now for Benzema, who is having a stellar afternoon.
ISCO MAKES IT TWO! The midfielder glides through the middle and lays the ball off to Benzema. That allows him a moment to ghost in behind the defence, and slot the Frenchman's return ball under Guaita!
39'
Ronaldo, Guaita and Vigaray all try to reach a cross to the near post first, and the Madrid man goes down under apparent contact from the defender. However, it would have been a tough one for the referee to decipher in real time.
38'
Great individual battle between Vergini and Benzema down the right-hand side. The striker looked at one moment to have got the better of his man, but a superb recovery challenge puts out that fire.
37'
A Madrid interception leads to a ball down the right for the searing pace of Ronaldo to match. The Portuguese holds it up and pings in a low ball for Bale, but there's too much power on it, and the Welshman's first touch leads to a turnover.
35'
Getafe started with two men up front in Scepovic and Vazquez, but both players are isolated from the rest of the game. Neither has dropped deep at the right time when the hosts have been on the ball.
33'
Getafe try to get a little too acrobatic with the ball in their own half. Bizarre sequence, as they swing and mostly miss at a series of clearances, which allows Madrid to win back possession.
31'
James, flowing with confidence after that assist, tries to do the same for Ronaldo. who can't convert. Corner for Madrid, but Sarabia does excellently to touch the ball off the head of Ronaldo at the near post.
29'
K. Benzema has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by J. Rodríguez.
BENZEMA SENDS MADRID AHEAD! The French striker pulls away from his man towards the back post, and he slides onto James' lovely cross to finish! It wasn't the cleanest contact, but he could hardly miss from that range.
James shifted the ball inside from the right-hand side, and used his left peg to swing in a dreamy cross for Benzema to attack.
28'
Madrid continue to keep the pressure up in the opposition half. They've not really gone to the byline much, preferring to cut inside and draw the wider defenders out of position. Getafe are once again struggling to see much of the ball.
26'
Ronaldo lays the ball off to Bale, who's surrounded by a lot of bodies in the centre, but keeps it alive in that area by sneaking a pass to Isco. The former Malaga man shifts beyond his initial opponent into a good shooting position, but he takes too long on the wind-up and lashes it into another defender.
24'
Madrid haven't been able to sustain the intensity of the early exchanges. Isco is robbed of the ball by Lacen, but he can't link with Scepovic, who makes a run in the opposite direction to the past.
22'
A more even tempo developing to this match, with Getafe now able to string a few passes together in the opposition half. It's getting the crowd more invested in proceedings, and Madrid have a bit of defending to do now.
20'
First real attack from Getafe is a promising one, as Pedro Leon drifts forward down the right-hand side. He appears to have beaten Marcelo inside the area but the Brazilian does just enough to put him off his trajectory towards the near post, and Varane can clean up the rest.
18'
The chances have been getting better and better for the away side, who are having the most joy when they break from just inside the Getafe half. The hosts need to figure out a way to get rid of danger without just whacking the ball clear.
16'
OFF THE BASE OF THE POST! Ronaldo lets a pass run across his body at the edge of the area, before lashing a low effort on goal that beats the outstreched Guaita, but rebounds off the woodwork!
14'
VITAL INTERCEPTION! Bale leads the charge for Madrid down the centre. He finds Benzema on the left, continues his run down that side and collects the Frenchman's return pass just before the byline. The Welshman then tries to reciprocate with a cut-back into the six-yard box, but Vigaray slides the ball away before Benzema can finish!
12'
RONALDO CAN'T GET THE CRUCIAL TOUCH! Madrid execute a scintillating move down the left, with James storming down that flank and squaring for the Portuguese, who slides into the six-yard area but can't stretch far enough to make contact.
10'
There's been a fair bit of space in the centre of midfield for the likes of Kroos and James to utilize, but they haven't been able to solve the problem of the back four as yet. Lots of Madrid possession, but little penetration.
9'
K. Yoda enters the game and replaces Á. Pereira.
Yoda enters the fray for Pereira.
7'
Pereira was back on the pitch and tried to soldier on, but he didn't last long, and falls to the turf in frustration, signaling that he's unable to continue. Both sets of players offer their support to the departing full-back.
5'
Alvaro Pereira is down on the deck, and in some distress. The game is paused for him to receive treatment, with the Uruguayan eventually moved towards the sidelines in order for things to continue.
3'
With Barcelona and Atletico not in action until tomorrow, a win here for Madrid will take them to within a point of the top - provisionally, of course. They've started well here on the ball, passing it crisply.

Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Liga match between Getafe and Real Madrid t Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Perez. Both sides have similar agendas at opposite ends of the table, meaning that there's likely to be no quarter given this afternoon. Stick with us for all the action.
Getafe currently prop up the table, but are in a three-way tie for the relegation zone places on 28 points. In fact, only five points separate them from 16th place Rayo, meaning that points at this stage could signal a significant shuffle at the bottom of the standings. Goals have been their main problem, scoring a league-low 28 in 32 games.
Real Madrid now trail leaders Barcelona by only four points with six games remaining before kick-off this afternoon. The title once looked to be out of reach, but now it's definitely back on - although they also have second-place Atletico Madrid - one point ahead of them - to contend with.
Madrid have scored 21 goals in their last five matches against Getafe - which were all victories. This run included that explosive 7-3 result 11 months ago at the Bernabeu, where Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals.
Getafe (4-4-2): Guaita; Suarez, Carlos Vigaray, Vergini, Pereira; Pedro Leon, Lacen, Rodriguez, Sarabia; Scepovic, Vazquez.
Real Madrid (4-3-3): Navas; Carvajal, Pepe, Varane, Marcelo; Isco, Kroos, James; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.
Real Madrid subs: Casilla, Nacho, Knvacic, Arbeloa, Vazquez, Modric, Jese.
Alvaro Medran is suspended, and Emiliano Velazquez has an injury, which rules them out of this game. Juan Esnaider introduces Carlos Vigaray and Stefan Scepovic to his starting XI, with Juan Cala and Henok Goitom making way.
For Madrid, Danilo is ruled out with a suspension. Zinedine Zidane makes three changes from his team's victory over Wolfsburg, introducing Raphael Varane, Isco and James Rodriguez at the expense of Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Casemiro.
And that will do it for the first half. Madrid hold a commanding and warranted 2-0 lead at the break, thanks to goals from Benzema and Isco. It's not been much of a challenge here, as Getae simply haven't offered up enough resistance. Is there any hope of a recovery for them in the second half? Stay tuned to find out.
And that will wrap it up here in Madrid, as los Blancos provisionally reduce Barcelona's advantage at the top of the table to a single point. They were simply too good for Getafe, with five different scorers on the night in the form of Benzema, Isco, Bale, James and Ronaldo. A lot can still change at the top, with Atletico and Barca in action tomorrow. That's it from us, thanks for tuning in.
