Zaha takes matters into his own hands, weaving past three challenges en route to the top of the area, but his strike leaves plenty to be desired as it sails over the bar! It's a goal-kick for United as the board goes up to indicate two minutes of added time.
118'
De Gea finally gets back up to his feet after being attended to by the training staff. He looks fine to continue, and the time that passed there will surely be added back onto the end of this extra-time period.
116'
DE GEA TO THE RESCUE AGAIN! The keeper sprints off his line to deny Zaha at the near post, with the forward getting behind Young and onto the end of a sensational delivery from Ward! He's bundled into by Zaha afterwards, and has stayed down here. United hearts will be in their throats as they're out of substitutions.
114'
STAT: The last two FA Cups to go into extra-time were decided without the need of penalties - Didier Drogba scoring for Chelsea against United in 2007 and Aaron Ramsey scoring for Arsenal over Hull in 2014.
112'
Gayle will be fretting even more now about that missed chance! He has a chance to redeem himself still over the final 10 minutes, but it will be harder as United ship everyone back in defence to see this lead out. Palace have to throw caution to the wind... they may never have a better chance to win the FA Cup.
111'
J. Lingard gets yellow.
Lingard is booked for taking his shirt off during his celebration.
110'
J. Lingard has scored a goal for Manchester United!
JESSE LINGARD ETCHES HIS NAME IN MANCHESTER UNITED FOLKLORE!!! What an outstanding finish from the substitute, who gives United the lead for the first time tonight! Valencia does brilliantly on the right to get past Puncheon and whip a cross in. The clearance from Delaney goes straight to Lingard, who does exceptionally to sort his feet and unleash a first-time finish into the top corner!
109'
INCHES WIDE! What a way that would have been for Carrick to mark what is likely his final match in a United shirt! Lingard and Martial play a tidy one-two, with the former picking out a cross for Carrick, but the midfielder heads agonisingly wide of the far post!
108'
J. McArthur gets yellow.
McArthur, who really hasn't been a factor in this match, is booked for a foul near the halfway line. You've hardly heard much from him throughout the evening.
Minute
Description
107'
DE GEA KEEPS UNITED IN IT! Gayle, usually a surefire finisher, is thwarted by the outstretched leg of De Gea following a terrific ball from Zaha to play his team-mate through on goal! Was that there chance?!
106'
HERE WE GO AGAIN!
105'
C. Smalling gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
SMALLING GIVEN HIS MARCHING ORDERS! He gets caught in a poor position in marking Bolasie as Palace look to break. Bolasie nudges the ball past him, and sensing the danger, Smalling cynically drags him to ground. There's no doubt about that decision from Clattenburg, and United are down to 10 men!
103'
SPLENDID EFFORT! Blind's defensive header goes only as far as Bolasie, who unloads an outstanding volley from outside the area! It's heading in at the near post, but De Gea, United's player of the season, is abe to dive across and knock it behind!
101'
M. Fellaini gets yellow.
Fellaini is finally issued a yellow card, long overdue, for an arm into the back of the head of Jedinak. It wasn't the mos malicious contact, but the Belgian has been asking for it.
99'
STAT: Crystal Palace have won six of their last seven FA Cup ties against fellow Premier League sides (L1).
97'
Rooney can't get the appropriate bend on his strike from atop the area as an effort drifts wide of the far post. Play is brought to a halt as Clattenburg has a chat with a couple of players from both sides following a string of tough challenges.
95'
United are still awaiting their first attack of the extra frame. Palace seem to have more left in the tank, or at least they're playing like it, getting after the ball with great determination. The Eagles are keeping their shape well and have players queuing up on the counter.
93'
FIRST CHANCE TO PALACE! Bolasie plays an exceptional ball over the top to send Zaha into the area, but Blind and Valencia converge, with the Dutchman putting the eventual challenge in, to deny the forward a shot on goal! Encouraging start for the Eagles!
91'
HERE WE GO WITH EXTRA-TIME!
90' +6
WE'RE HEADED FOR EXTRA-TIME AT WEMBLEY!
90' +5
SIDE NETTING! Zaha sprints forward, alone in attack as he tries to do in his former team with a dramatic winner, but the winger can't direct his shot on target as it goes crashing onto the wrong side of the post.
90' +4
A. Mariappa enters the game and replaces S. Dann.
Scott Dann will give way here, meaning he won't play a part in extra-time, should it be required. Adrian Mariappa replaces him. The Jamaican centre-half is strong in the air, but it's always hard for a defender to join into a match at this juncture.
90' +3
The tempo slows a bit as we approach the final whistle. United are building patiently in possession, but Palace have everyone back to see this game through to extra-time, which is looking increasingly likely with each passing second.
90' +1
There will be five minutes added on at the end of this match. Will a hero be born, or will we have to play further into the night to find out who the winner will be?
90'
J. Lingard enters the game and replaces Mata.
United's final change of the night sees Jesse Ligard replace scorer Juan Mata. He'll provide an injection of pace in attack.
89'
United do well to defend a pair of Palace corners, and quickly look to get back on the front foot. There's very little time left for someone to have their say, before another 30 minutes could be in order. Are we destined for extra-time?
87'
W. Rooney gets yellow.
Rooney throws himself into a late tackle on Zaha, which looked a painful one, and he's booked as a result
86'
D. Gayle enters the game and replaces C. Wickham.
Dwight Gayle is on for Palace, ahead of Sako or Adebayor, as he replaces Wickham. Pardew still does have one change left, however. .
85'
PALACE REALLY ON THEIR HEELS NOW! Young is teed up for two great chances in close, but he's unable to get either on target! You have to wonder if maybe, just maybe, Rashford would have scored one of those!
83'
This is remarkable! Alan Pardew can hardly believe his luck. He's no stranger to late equalisers against his team in the FA Cup final, with United and Liverpool both scoring very late to erase leads for Pardew's sides in the dying minutes of the 1990 and 2006 finals.
81'
Mata has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by M. Fellaini.
Great stuff from Fellaini to not force an effort at goal, but instead set-up his team-mate for the chance.
UNITED PRODUCE AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE!! WHAT DRAMA! These sides have left it late, but it's turning into a classic at Wembley! Rooney makes a delightful run beyond three defenders before picking out a cross for Fellaini. The Belgian chests it down for Mata, who smashes a first-time effort through the legs of Ward and into the net!
78'
J. Puncheon has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by J. Ward.
What an exquisite pick out that was from Ward to spot Puncheon, who was played onside by Martial, with the Frenchman slow to push forward.
A SUPER SUB IN THE TRUEST SENSE OF THE WORD!! In front of their own supporters, Palace take the lead through Jason Puncheon!! A good defensive header from Fellaini seems to clear the threat, but Ward collects and plays a superb ball over the top for Puncheon who takes one touch to control and another to smash a finish over De Gea at the near post! Just look at the euphoria on his face! He can hardly contain himself, and you can't blame him for that!
76'
All bets are in now! Reputations and history are pushed aside as we enter the final 15 minutes without a goal between the two sides. This is where heroes are born! Who wants it more? Who can provide the bit of class needed to break this deadlock? It's anyone's guess now!
74'
STAT: Alan Pardew featured in the last all-English XI in an FA Cup final when him and his Crystal Palace teammates lost to Manchester United in 1990. Conversely, there are just eight English players in the two starting line-ups combined this evening.
72'
A. Young enters the game and replaces M. Rashford.
J. Puncheon enters the game and replaces Y. Cabaye.
Rashford can't recover from the knock he's picked up and his night ends early, with Ashley Young replacing him. Young will likely move onto the left, with Martial moving into a more central role.
Cabaye is replaced for the final 18 minutes and he's not too pleased, but he doesn't offer the greatest defensive cover, which is likely the logic behind this switch. Jason Puncheon replaces him.
70'
WORRYING MOMENTS FOR UNITED! Rashford goes to ground after a fair challenge from Zaha, but Cabaye then catches his knee with his studs as he brings his foot down following a clearance. The United striker has stayed down and requires attention as he struggles to get back to his feet, so Carrick puts the ball into touch.
68'
Nice bit of improvisation! Smalling's defensive header doesn't see the ball away from harm, as Delaney sticks with it to hook a volley back at goal from atop the area. It's a clever effort from the centre-half, who has De Gea scrambling, but it crashes onto the roof of the net.
66'
M. Darmian enters the game and replaces M. Rojo.
Rojo is still labouring following the challenge from Delaney, and his evening will draw to an early conclusion as he's replaced for the final 25 minutes by Matteo Darmian - who scored his only goal for the club in a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford earlier this season.
64'
STAT: Anthony Martial has been directly involved in 25 goals in all competitions this season (17 goals, eight assists); four more than any other United player.
62'
D. Delaney gets yellow.
Delaney commits himself needlessly to a challenge on Rojo, arriving late as he catches the left-back. He's issued a yellow card, meaning both Palace centre-backs are playing with a booking to their name now.
61'
OFF THE WOODWORK!! Valencia is afforded too much time and space to pick out a cross, which he does brilliantly to place a delivery on the head of Martial. The Frenchman picks out the far post exquisitely, and has Hennessey beaten, but can only watch on as his header rattles off the frame of the goal!
59'
Palace will be pleased with how this game is unfolding. The longer it remains 0-0 the more they will fancy their chances of stealing the decisive opening goal. United's best hope in attack seems to be through Rashford or Martial, while the rest are lacking a bit in ingenuity.
57'
JEDINAK! The man who has done so well in defending set-pieces this evening, gets a chance of his own from one at the other end. Cabaye's free-kick runs through to him at the far post, but seems to take the midfielder by surprise as he lifts a volley high and wide of the far post!
55'
United look a bit more in control now than they were in the latter stages of that first half. They have been inquisitive and crafty on the front foot throughout, but some incredibly loose moments at the back have put them under pressure. They seem to have shored that up since the restart, at least for now.
53'
OFF THE FRAME OF THE GOAL! United denied the opener they so desperately crave! A sumptuous flick from Rashford sees Fellaini teed up for a strike. The Belgian lashes at it, cannoning a strike off the woodwork and out, with Hennessey rooted to his spot!
51'
STAT: Manchester United have lost each of their last two appearances in the FA Cup final, in 2005 against Arsenal and 2007 to Chelsea, the latter of which was the first to be held at the new Wembley Stadium.
49'
Fellaini makes his first real contribution from open play, taking a pass and turning adequately beyond Souare, into the area. He lacks the pace to keep the run going, however, as an attempted cross deflects off the defender and back off him before running behind for a goal-kick.
47'
S. Dann gets yellow.
Rashford is showing no signs of nervousness despite the occasion, as he continues to take a very direct approach in possession. Another strong run from the striker sees him win a free-kick and get Dann booked.
46'
BACK UNDERWAY AT WEMBLEY! Will the match be decided over the next 45 minutes or will we require extra-time?
45' +1
HALF-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED.
45'
Mata gets yellow.
Mata commits a silly challenge on Souare, stomping on the ankle of the left-back directly in front of Pardew, who is incredible animated on the touchline. The Spaniard is issued a yellow card, the third booking of the evening for a United player.
44'
Back the other way come United and Martial tries to work a one-two with Fellaini just inside the area, but the Belgian stops his run. Palace get enough bodies back in defence to snuff it out, as Hennessey collects to avert the threat.
42'
Palace are enjoying the better of play as half-time approaches. They're starting to feed everything down the left, putting immense pressure on Rojo who is walking a tight line following his yellow card moments earlier. Van Gaal will be anxiously watching this unfold, and may be considering a change sooner rather than later.
40'
M. Rojo gets yellow.
Rojo is being exposed at left-back, often getting caught too high up the pitch. Another panicked moment sees him lunge into a cynical foul on Ward, and he's booked as a result. Two United defenders, Rojo and Smalling, are now on yellow cards.
39'
Football purists like to claim that history tends to repeat itself. Well, Alan Pardew has been in two FA Cup finals previously (one as manager, one as player) and both ended 3-3 in the first 90 minutes (before losing in a replay as player and penalties as manager). While it has been a very open game in this first half, it certainly doesn't appear as though we're going to get a six-goal thriller this evening.
37'
STAT: Crystal Palace have lost 15 of their last 20 meetings with Manchester United in all competitions and were beaten 1-0 when the 1990 final - their first ever - went to a replay.
35'
JAAP STAM OR WAYNE ROONEY?! Blind loses the ball to Zaha who is quick to sprint towards goal, into the area and behind the defence. Rooney looks like he's 20-years-old again, showing remarkable pace to make up ground and chase down the forward, sliding in with a delightful challenge to stop the break and snuff out the chance!
33'
WARD SAVES PALACE FROM FALLING BEHIND! Delaney with some abysmal defending as Rashford goes on a searching run that sees him into the area. The striker picks out a terrific pass to the far post for Martial, but the Frenchman can't find the back of the net with Hennessey stranded, as Ward gets an incredibly vital block in!
31'
IMPORTANT DEFENSIVE INTERVENTION! Zaha is starting to grow into the game on the right, though he's not seeing as much of the ball as he would like. He does well in possession this time around, getting past Rojo before picking out an inviting pull-back into the area for Wickham - but Smalling is alert to it, lunging in with an acrobatic challenge to knock it away from danger!
29'
There are still some ponderous moments in the United midfield, which is helping to keep Palace in the game. An incredibly loose pass from Carrick in his own end allows a quick break from Palace, but Wickham drags his left-footed strike wide of the far post from atop the area.
27'
FELLAINI AGAIN! The towering Belgian is becoming an increasing nuisance from these set-pieces! He gets his head to another one, with Jedinak draped all over him, but Fellaini's header looks to have been knocked behind by Hennessey, or a deflection off the Palace midfielder. Either way, it's another corner.
26'
OUCH! Valencia continues to be very prominent on the overlap, combining very well with Mata who is drifting inside to open up space for the right-back. Valencia gets into a good position to whip in a cross, but Souare uses his head, quite literally, to block it behind. The defender took that one right off the face!
24'
STAT: This is Manchester United's 14th game at the new Wembley – no team has played more games there (Chelsea are also at 14).
22'
SMART SAVE! Hennessey is forced into the first real difficult save of the evening for either keeper, as he dives over to his left and gets a strong hand on Mata's well-placed effort! It was an excellent spot from Valencia to play the Spaniard through, after he got in behind Delaney.
20'
De Gea is forced to knock the ball over the goal following Cabaye's free-kick, giving the Eagles another opportunity to threaten from a set-piece. Fellaini only partially clears the threat this time, as Palace continue to keep the pressure on here. It's a bit of a sticky period for United, who are bailed out as Wickham fouls Blind inside the area.
18'
C. Smalling gets yellow.
PALACE HAVE THE BALL IN THE NET... BUT IT WON'T COUNT! Wickham beats Smalling for pace and is dragged to ground by the defender. Clattenburg is quick to blow the whistle, awarding Palace a free-kick, but Wickham got back to his feet and carried on before scoring - though the United defence had given up on the play once the whistle was sounded. Smalling is booked for the foul.
16'
SPLENDID DELIVERY! Rooney certainly seems up for the occasion! He's being afforded too much time and space on the ball as United continue to impose themselves. Rooney picks out a peach of a pass to spot the run of Rojo into the area, but the left-back's first time effort is straight at Hennessey from a difficult angle.
15'
NOT A BAD EFFORT! Rooney, who has seen plenty of the ball in the central area for United through the first quarter of an hour, tries his luck from 30 yards. His effort takes a deflection en route, and Hennessey can't collect. He spills the ball back into the danger area, but manages to recover and bail himself out just ahead of Mata, who was queuing up.
13'
STAT: The 1990 final which Manchester United won in a replay against Crystal Palace was the first trophy Sir Alex Ferguson won with the Red Devils. Louis van Gaal is also trophy-less as United coach, managing his first final with the club today.
11'
This is relentless pressure from United who have their fifth corner of the match. They've amounted to nothing much thus far, but finally the delivery is a sound one, this time from Blind, and Fellaini nearly gets in front of his marker to get on the end of it - but Jedinak does just enough to force the header off the mark!
9'
Hennessey does his best De Gea impression, navigating through a mess of bodies to claim a delivery into the area from the right, as pressure stayed on following the set-piece. His contributions see the threat aside and allow Palace to get back on the ball.
8'
Great pace from Rashford! The striker surges forward on an inquisitive run that looks a real problem for Delaney, who clearly grabs hold of the forward's shirt. Rashord carries on and doesn't look for a penalty, but ends up knocking the ball disappointingly behind - though Mark Clattenburg isn't in the best position as he wrongfully awards United a corner.
6'
Rojo and Valencia are keen to get forward on the overlap in the early going, and they've provided some excellent width to the United attack in the early stages. They win a corner of their own on a swift move into the final third, but the delivery in for Fellaini at the far post is cleared admirably by the imposing Mile Jedinak.
5'
Palace pose a real threat from set pieces, as we've come to see this season, while defending in the air has been an area of concern for United. Bolasie wins the game's first corner with some sound dribbling down the left, but the ensuing delivery is scooped up by the safe hands of David de Gea.
3'
United enjoy the bulk of possession in the early going, with Palace's approach very clear from the start. Pardew's side will allow the Red Devils all the time they want on the ball, content with sitting back, keeping their shape and using their pace on the flanks to get at them on the counter.

THE 2016 FA CUP FINAL IS UNDERWAY! Crystal Palace get the game started, attacking from left to right in their red and blue stripes, with Manchester United in their white tops and black shorts.
Hello football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace from London’s Wembley Stadium! This is widely considered the most prestigious day on the English sporting calendar as the newest champion of football’s oldest competition is crowned – and the historic Wembley Stadium is a fitting venue for the occasion.
Should they fail to end their three-year trophy drought this evening, Van Gaal could well be given the axe, with Jose Mourinho eager to get his shot at Old Trafford.
The pressure is certainly on the club today to end their wait, but none more so than the burden which falls on the shoulders of Louis van Gaal. The Dutchman is chasing his first trophy since arriving at the club in the summer of 2014, and he has come under increased scrutiny following a string of lacklustre performances from his side, which saw them miss out on fourth place and a chance at playing Champions League football next season.
The Red Devils’ drought in the competition will reach 12 years tomorrow should they fail to achieve success this evening, having last raised the illustrious trophy on the back of a 3-0 victory over Millwall on May 22, 2004 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Manchester United are hoping to continue what has historically been a love affair with the competition, boasting 11 FA Cup titles to their name – just one shy of Arsenal’s 12, with the Gunners having won the tournament in each of the past two seasons.
Alan Pardew started both of those matches in midfield for Palace, and now he’s back for a second crack at bringing the first FA Cup trophy to Selhurst Park, this time as a manager.
Their opponents today, Crystal Palace, aren’t nearly as familiarised with the grand stage that is the FA Cup final. The Eagles have just once previously reached this venture, losing 1-0 to Manchester United in a replay in 1990, after the initial final ended in a 3-3 draw.
Steven Gerrard’s famous 91st minute screamer helped the Reds erase a two-goal deficit and send the game to penalties at 3-3. Heartbreak ensued for the Hammers as Pepe Reina denied Bobby Zamora, Paul Konchesky and Anton Ferdinand from the spot to once again deny Pardew FA Cup success.
Pardew is actually making his second appearance in the final as a manager, losing his first attempt in 2006 with West Ham, against Liverpool – one of the more memorable finals in recent memory.
MANCHESTER UNITED (4-5-1): De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Rojo; Mata, Fellaini, Carrick, Rooney, Martial; Rashford.
UNITED TEAM NEWS: Louis van Gaal has made just two changes to the side which dispatched of Bournemouth on Tuesday, which includes the return of midfielder Marouane Fellaini who missed the last three matches of the Premier League season due to suspension after elbowing Leicester's Robert Huth. He replaces Jesse Lingard in the team today, while Marcos Rojo gets the nod ahead of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson at left-back.
UNITED TEAM NEWS (Con't): The Argentine will team up with Daley Blind, Chris Smalling and Antonio Valencia in defence. Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick, both going in search of their first FA Cup trophy, join the Belgian in midfield, while Juan Mata and Anthony Martial provide support on the flanks for striker Marcus Rashford who leads the line.
PALACE TEAM NEWS: The Eagles make a wealth of changes having rested many of their key players on the final matchday at Southampton. Wayne Hennessey returns in goal, replacing Julian Speroni, while Wilfried Zaha is a welcome inclusion in the team after being considered a doubt with an injury in the lead-up. He'll get a chance to spoil the party for his former team today.
PALACE TEAM NEWS (Con't): Scott Dann, Yohan Cabaye, Yannick Bolasie and Connor Wickham are also back into the team this evening, at the expense of Jason Puncheon, Dwight Gayle and Emmanuel Adebayor who are all available off the bench.
Kick-off was supposed to be at half-past the hour, but the field is still covered in celebratory tarps with the two team logos embroidered on top of the blue background. The occasion certainly isn't lacking in build-up, as Prince William graces the pitch with his presence, shaking the hands of all of today's starters, before taking his place on the touchline for the singing of the anthem.
There's a real buzz in the air, the atmosphere is superb and the weather has cooperated as we approach the start of the match!
Martial and Mata came closest for United, with a Ward block and Hennessey save enough to keep them out, while some important last-ditch challenges from Smalling and Rooney have helped hold Palace at bay. It's perfectly poised for the second half!
An exciting first half comes to an end at Wembley, with nothing to separate the two sides at the interval, though not for a lack of trying. There have been a number of chances at both ends in what was a surprisingly open first 45 minutes, but there is no breakthrough to be had.
END OF REGULATION: PALACE 1-1 UNITED. Juan Mata equalised just minutes after Jason Puncheon appeared to win it late for Pardew's side, as two goals are evenly split between the sides after 90 minutes. It took some time for the second half to get going, but there was no shortage of drama in the end - though it should pale in comparison to the drama that is still to come!
Half-time of extra-time and Wembley and the context has changed drastically! A sluggish first 15 minutes, in which Palace had the two best chances, reached a climax at the end as Chris Smalling was sent packing with his second yellow card of the match! With 15 minutes left before penalties, it's advantage Crystal Palace.
FULL-TIME: PALACE 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED (1-2 AET). Hysteria in the Red Devils end as the Jesse Lingard's winner in extra-time grants the club their first trophy since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson!!
It's incredibly harsh on Palace, who took the lead late on through Jason Puncheon and appeared to be heading for their first FA Cup title in club history until Juan Mata equalised for United to send the game to extra-time. Chris Smalling appeared to hand Pardew's side the reigns as he was sent off at the end of the first frame, but it wasn't meant to be in the end as Jesse Lingard stepped up to leave his mark on the occasion.
That's all for our live coverage from Wembley, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
