Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the friendly clash between Spain and Korea Republic.
Vicente del Bosque's side are entering the final stage of their preparations for Euro 2016 to defend their crown. They produced a strong performance to brush aside the challenge of Bosnia-Herzegovina last week in a 3-1 victory and will eye another strong display this afternoon.
Korea Republic boast an incredible run of form heading into today's match, having not been beaten in action since last year. Their unbeaten run stretches for 16 matches, and includes winning their last nine matches on the spin.
Del Bosque named his 23-man squad for the Euros on Tuesday, and as a result players will now be pushing to start in their opener on June 13 against the Czech Republic.
The teams have been confirmed so we'll start with Spain.
Spain line up with a three-man attack as David Silva and Nolito flank Alvaro Morata through the middle. Nolito notched two goals against Bosnia-Herzegovina, and will be determined to make another impact this afternoon.
Dani Carvajal's injury allows Hector Bellerin the opportunity to start at right-back for La Roja, while Sergio Ramos's recovery from the Champions League final means that Marc Bartra partners Gerard Pique in the heart of the defence.
Bruno Soriano gets the nod in the middle of the park to start alongside Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta, while Koke takes time to rest up following his exploits in Atletico Madrid's defeat to their rivals at the weekend.
There are plenty of notable names in the Korea Republic line-up from the Premier League. Swansea City's Ki Sung-Yueng captains the Taegeuk Warriors, while Tottenham Hotspur's Son Hueng-Min also features in an attacking-midfield role.
Supporters of Sunderland will remember Ji Dong-Won, who starts alongside Son just behind lone frontman Hwang Ui-Jo. Lee Suk-Yung also played his trade in England for Queens Park Rangers and Charlton Athletic, he starts at left-back this afternoon.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: Spain 3-0 Korea Republic
Spain are in complete control of this match at the break due to some poor defending from the Korea Republic. Neither side looked like finding a breakthrough until David Silva found the top corner with a great strike from a free-kick. Cesc Fabregas and Nolito then extended La Roja's lead by capitalising on errors from Uli Stielike's men.
The players are emerging for the second half, so we should be back underway shortly.
Changes aplenty for Spain at the break as Del Bosque shuffles his pack in the midfield, while Korea will also make one substitution at the break.
FULL-TIME: Spain 6-1 Korea Republic
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Spain continue their preparations for Euro 2016 with a thumping win over the Korea Republic. David Silva got them on their way with a fine strike from a free-kick, while Alvaro Morata and Nolito both bagged a couple of strikes each and Cesc Fabregas notched the other in the first half. A display from La Roja which will delight Vicente Del Bosque ahead of their final friendly against Georgia.
