OH MY WORD HE'S MISSED A SITTER! THAT WAS THEIR MOMENT! Louis provides a sensational cross into the area and Peru are caught napping as Belfort gets behind the defence and has a free header from six-yards out, which he sends agonisingly wide of the target!
90' +3
Haiti win the ball back and you can hear coach Patrice Neveu urging them forward from the touchline. It's now or never for Haiti and this may be their last chance of the night as they win a free-kick from just over 30 yards, sending everyone into the area in anticipation of a delivery.
90' +1
L. da Silva enters the game and replaces É. Flores.
PSV reserve player Luiz da Silva replaces Flores in the final Peru change.
90'
The board goes up to indicate four minutes of added time, and it's all Peru at the moment.
88'
GENEVOIS SAVES A GOAL! Exquisite from Polo who finds space on the right as he's sprung through behind the defence, before rolling the ball across the face of goal for Guerrero. Him and Genevois go sliding to meet it, but it's the centre-half who gets a terrific touch to guide it behind!
86'
STAT: The Incas have reached third place in both of the last two Copa Americas - they won six out of the 12 games played (D2 L4) over these two editions.
84'
Y. Yotún gets yellow.
Yotun picks up a yellow, and looks a bit uncomfortable being deployed in a central position, usually filling the left-back role for Malmo in Sweden.
83'
A. Polo enters the game and replaces A. Hohberg.
Andy Polo, the 21-year-old Universitario striker, who has generated plenty of buzz, is brought on for his third cap. He scored in their pre-tournament friendly against El Salvador, his first international goal. Hohberg gives way.
81'
The Haitian push for an equaliser hardly lasted long as Peru get back in possession, playing keep-away just inside the attacking half. Play comes to a halt as Lafrance seems to over-extend himself following an attempt at a tackle, and this will allow Peru to make their second change.
Minute
Description
79'
Alexandre is walking a tight line, already on a yellow, and he catches Vilchez with a late challenge. The Peruvian players crowd the referee in petition for a sending off, but it looks like the Haitian midfielder will escape this scare. He's got no margin for error the rest of the way.
77'
TERRIFIC INTERVENTION! Gallese dives in fearlessly at the feet of Belfort at the near post to parry Louis' cross, which had the Peruvian defence at sixes-and-sevens! Perhaps a bit of life for this Haitian side?
75'
Y. Yotún enters the game and replaces C. Cueva.
Cueva has provided plenty of quality for the Peruvians tonight, but his match ends early as Malmo's Yoshimar Yotun is brought on for some added defensive stability over the final 15 minutes.
74'
J. Marcelin gets yellow.
73'
STAT: Haiti have lost three of their four World Cup fourth round qualifying matches (D1), and have yet to score a goal, losing to fellow Copa America participants Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica (all 1-0).
71'
K. Belfort enters the game and replaces D. Nazon.
Kervens Belfort, who plays with Trabzonspor's affiliate club in Turkey and has 11 goals in 28 caps for Haiti, is introduced for the final 20 minutes. Nazon, who was unable to get the job done, is the one replaced.
69'
P. Guerrero gets yellow.
Marcelin lets his emotion get the better of him, lashing out with a hard shove on Guerrero that knocks the towering striker to the turf. It's a senseless foul from the Haitian midfielder, who is appropriately issued a yellow card.
Yellow card José Paolo Guerrero González
67'
Instead of Haiti pushing the tempo in search of an equaliser, it's Peru who are going in search of a second. The South American side are buoyed by their opener and hungry for more. Fatigue seems to be an issue for Haiti, who's resistance was finally broken - and has yet to be pieced back together.
65'
SHOULD BE TWO! Guerrero denied his second at the end of another crafty move from Peru, only by the wonderful reactions of Placide! The keeper got down to his left to hold on to Guerrero's stabbed effort, after Flores played him through into the area.
63'
STAT: Paolo Guerrero is now Peru’s joint-second-highest scorer in the Copa America, netting 11 goals in 16 games, equal with Oscar Gomez Sanchez. Only Teodoro Fernandez (15) has scored more.
61'
P. Guerrero has scored a goal for Peru! Assist by É. Flores.
Flores provides the moment of quality Peru were desperately lacking, and is credited with the assist.
PERU LEAD GROUP B! It's been coming, and Los Incas finally break the deadlock! Flores delivers an exquisite cross in towards the far post and Guerrero dives to meet it, sending a thumping header beyond Placide, driving a dagger into the Haitian hearts!
60'
Peru are passing the ball impressively, and have been throughout, but it's in the one-on-one situations where they have been let down. They've been lacking that moment of brilliance from one of they key attackers to beat their man and create the chance they need to break this deadlock.
58'
PLACIDE SAVES THE DAY! A Peruvian corner isn't dealt with by Haiti and the ball runs all the way through for Revoredo at the far post. The right-back tries to toe-poke an effort under the keeper, but Placide is off his line in a hurry and gets a piece of it to keep the game scoreless!
56'
Tapia slides in with a professional foul to halt the run of Louis, but somehow escapes without a booking. The Haitian forward takes the ensuing free-kick, but his delivery has too much pace behind it as it sails beyond the far post and behind for a goal-kick.
54'
STAT: Peru have never scored more than one goal in their last six Copa America group stage games; the last time they found the net more than once in a group stage game was in 2007 (2-2 vs Bolivia).
52'
WHO'S THERE?! Flores is played through into the area following a delightful link-up between Guerrero and Vilchez. The winger, who hit the post in the first half, inexplicably delivers across the face of goal instead of having a shot, and no one is there to meet it. He has to be having a go from that close!
50'
J. Alexandre gets yellow.
That's a cynical one! Alexandre with a loose touch to concede possession and promptly drags Guerrero down by the arm to prevent a break. It's a professional foul from the midfielder, but an avoidable one as well.
48'
NERVY MOMENTS AT THE BACK! Tapia produces a vital touch to clear the ball behind for a Haiti corner, after a cross in from the right was not dealt with in the slightest. It bounced around for a few moments, though no one from Haiti could direct it goalwards.
46'
Back underway at CenturyLink!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: HAITI 0-0 PERU.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of this first half.
44'
OFF THE POST! Peru come inches away from their opener! It doesn't get much closer than that for Flores, who gets on the end of a brilliant assist from Guerrero following a ball over the top from Revoredo, and his first-time strike cannons off the woodwork and stays out!
42'
IMPORTANT CLEARANCE! Guerrier is back in defence as Cueva plays a free-kick into the danger area, and he manages to head behind at the vital moment with Ramos making a run behind him, threatening to get on the end of it.
40'
J. Alexandre enters the game and replaces M. Hilaire.
Well this is surprising! It's not an injury for Hilaire, and he's visibly upset as he's brought off inside of 40 minutes. He slams his waterbottle down and you have to feel for the midfielder, who was actually playing rather well! Jean-Marc Alexandre, who boasts plenty of international experience, replaces him.
37'
HE PUNISHED THAT BALL! Tapia has been incredibly active at both ends and he's heading Peru's fight back. He sprays an excellent ball out wide, and after a bit of interplay on the left, gets it back in the centre, where he unloads an strike just inches wide from 25 yards!
35'
Louis continues to be a thorn in the Peruvian's side as he wins a free-kick strictly due to his pace, forcing Vilchez to slide into a late challenge. The Peru midfielder escapes a booking, but he's used up his warnings now. Next foul and he should be seeing yellow.
33'
NEEDED A BETTER TOUCH! Signs of life from Peru as Trauco makes waves down the left-hand side, squaring for Guerrero atop the area. He has just one misplaced defender to beat, but a heavy touch allows Genevois to recover and clear the threat!
31'
STAT: Over the last 50 years, just four players have netted 10+ Copa America goals and Paulo Guerrero is one of them - only Gabriel Batistuta (13) has scored more than him.
29'
BLAZED OVER! The free-kick is placed in an ideal location for Haiti, and Jerome manages to wrap his strike around the wall, but it was always rising and lifts over the bar in the end! That's a disappointment for Haiti.
28'
A. Rodríguez gets yellow.
HANDBALL! Delightful bit of interplay between Guerrier and Nazon, as their one-two is broken up cynically by the arm of Rodriguez directly atop the area, and he will pick up the first yellow card of the evening.
27'
IT ALMOST FELL FOR HIM! Louis provides a stunning delivery in from the right, and it's flicked on before landing almost directly in front of Guerrier. The winger is taken by surprise as he fails to get a shot off, with Tapia reaching in and clearing the threat!
25'
We're still awaiting for the first goal of the day, with Costa Rica and Paraguay drawing 0-0 earlier. Colombia is the only team to have scored so far in the tournament, through 200-plus minutes of play, but Haiti will look to change that as they win themselves a corner.
23'
OFFSIDE! Nazon has plenty of speed to burn and he's starting to use it! The striker gets on the end of a ball over the top and has the goal at his mercy, but just failed to time it accordingly as the flag is raised for offside. He was thwarted by Gallese anyhow, with the keeper making an impressive save despite play being blown dead.
21'
Lafrance and Tapia are the two central figures in possession for these two sides, in charge of organising their side on the ball and facilitating it through the midfield third. Haiti have really grown into their own, while Peru are entering a bit of a sticky spell.
19'
STAT: Peru have lost only one of their last nine Copa America debuts (W3, D5); last year against Brazil - though they went on to progress and finish in third place.
17'
Tapia concedes a free-kick on the left, though it looks like he was the one fouled as Lafrance was all over him. Louis whips in a terrific delivery from the ensuing set-piece, and it's not dealt with by Peru, but no one can get the decisive touch at the far post!
15'
There it is - Haiti are enjoying a prolonged spell in possession and it looks as though the wave of Peruvian pressure has ended without anything to show for it. The Haitian fans in attendance are getting loud as their side passes the ball around near the halfway line, with the confidence they need if they are to pick up some results in this tournament.
13'
THAT'S MORE LIKE IT! Haiti finally manage to string some passes together, and it's actually all rather impressive from them in the build-up. Nazon gets on the end of a move and has a look from inside the area, but hesitation proves his worst enemy as his unwillingness to pull the trigger allows the Peruvian defence to recover and snuff out the chance.
11'
Peru continue to apply the pressure, but the need a goal to make this spell count. Tapia and Vilchez are doing such an excellent job of getting in the right positions to win the ball back quickly when Haiti do get possession and look to break, which has helped Los Incas keep the ball pinned in the opposition half.
9'
STAT: The last clash between these two teams dates to back February 2002 (friendly game); Peru won 5-1 with Jose Soto (2), Antonio Serrano, Jorge Soto and Jefferson Farfan scoring.
7'
SHOULD BE IN! Guerrero with all sorts of space on the right, and he picks out a terrific pull-back for Hohberg who gets it stuck in his feet atop the six-yard box! Haiti have to collect themselves or it could prove disastrous. Peru are being afforded way to much space all over the pitch, and it's only a matter of time before they make Haiti pay.
5'
PLACIDE PUT TO WORK! Peru continue to carve apart this Haitian midfield as they have no trouble advancing into the final third. Cueva negotiates space on the left and cuts into the centre on a dazzling run, but his final effort from atop the area is sent straight at the keeper!
3'
Peru very much on the ascendency in the early going as these young players are eager to make a name for themselves. Hohberg manages the first attempt of the evening, following an excellent turn 25 yards from goal, and has Placide scrambling as he narrowly misses the far post.

We're underway in Group B!
Hello and welcome to live coverage from CenturyLink Field as Haiti and Peru open up Group B when they go head-to-head in Seattle!
With Brazil and Ecuador rounding out the group, Haiti and Peru are very much considered underdogs to progress to the knockout stage, meaning defeat today for either of these sides would almost assuredly send them home early. It’s crucial to avoid defeat, but at the same time just a point would leave them with work to do, so the approach of these two coaches will be interesting to say the least.
These two nations have endured poor starts to their World Cup qualifying campaigns, and desperately need a string of positive results in the Copa to rejuvenate their Russia 2018 hopes. Haiti are making their first appearance at the tournament, while Peru are coming off back-to-back third-place finishes in 2011 and 2015.
Jean Alcenat takes a seat for Haiti, despite being their most capped member of the 23-man squad by a fair margin, as Standard Liege right-back Reginal Goreux gets the call alongside Nice's Romain Genevios, Jacksonville's Mechack Jerome and Arau's Kim Jaggy in defence.
Surprisingly inexperienced Max Hilaire, just eight caps despite being 30-years-old, anchors a midfield trio that includes James Marcelin and Kevin Lafrance, with Jean Alexandre and his years of service left on the bench.
Up front it's Laval youngster Duckens Nazon and his four goals in 14 games who leads the line, flanked by Caen's Jeff Louis and Wisla Krakow's Wilde-Donald Guerrier. It's a very dangerous and quick front three for the Haitians, who also can call upon the services of Kervins Belfort and his 11 goals in 28 caps off the bench.
Peru boss Ricardo Gareca has made some interesting choices with his squad selection, leaving the likes of Carlos Zambrano, Carlos Lobaton, Claudio Pizarro, Juan Manuel Vargas, Andre Carrillo and Jefferson Farfan to watch the tournament from home. It's a very unfamiliar Peru side as a result, as Gareca makes the puzzling decision to stray from what seemed to be a winning formula at the last two Copa America's.
The back-line is made up entirely of Peruvian-based players, while just three members of their XI - Renato Tapia (Feyenoord), Christian Cueva (Sao Paolo) and Paolo Guerrero (Flamengo) - play outside the country. Alejandro Hohberg, Oscar Vilchez and Miguel Trauco are the most foreign members of the national team, combining for just seven caps entering the tournament.
The players have finally made their way out of the tunnel on a warm night in Seattle, and we should be underway shortly...
It's a rather sparse crowd at the large CenturyLink Field, which can hold up to 70,000 fans on a given occasion. We're nowhere near that total tonight, but there's some loyal Haitian and Peruvian supporters who have made the trip - and it's an especially momentous occasion for Haiti who are making their debut in the competition.
Nothing to separate the two sides at the interval in Seattle. Peru started strongly, but Haiti responded well as they got their footing and asked a few questions of the Incas defence over the final 30 minutes. Despite Haiti growing in stature, it's Peru who managed the best chances and will consider themselves unlucky not to be ahead.
The players are heading back out as the second half beckons. All indications from the opening 45 minutes suggests there should be goals in this match, but we'll have to wait and see how it unfolds as this perfectly poised half gets set to kick-off.
Belfort can't hold back the tears as he's consoled by players from Peru and Haiti alike, as he misses a glorious opportunity in the dying seconds to steal Haiti a point. It wasn't meant to be, however, as Peru hold on for three points, with Paolo Guerrero's goal securing three points for Los Incas in their Group B opener and becoming their all-time leading scorer in the process.
That's all for our live coverage from Seattle, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
