Italy get us under way. Game on!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Italy's international friendly against Finland from Verona.
This is the last preparation match for Antonio Conte's men before their Euro 2016 campaign begins with a match against Belgium in seven days and they are looking to go into the tournament on a high.
Italy beat Scotland 1-0 last time out, ending a four-game stretch without a victory since they sealed qualification for the Euros.
Finland – who did not qualify for the Euros - are not to be underestimated, though, after their impressive 1-1 draw away to Belgium in their last outing. That result was even more surprising given it came after a run of four straight defeats without scoring a goal.
It's time for some team news from Verona, here are how the two sides are lining up tonight:
Juve midfielder Stefano Sturaro, meanwhile, is on the bench as he continues to wait for his first cap.
Conte shuffles his pack as Immobile and Zaza get the chance to impress in attack after Pelle and Eder started against Scotland. Buffon is rested but it is the same Juventus back three in front of his replacement, Sirigu.
Midfielder Perparim Hetemaj of Chievo is the only player in the Finland squad based in Italy and he starts for the visitors.
We are ready for kick-off in Verona, with the national anthems now complete.
HALF-TIME: Italy 1-0 Finland
It is hard to see Italy being pegged back based on the first half, but Conte will want to see his team kill the match off. They had to settle for a 1-0 win over Scotland last time out and need to show more cutting edge here, with only three of their 12 shots finding the target.
A very comfortable first half for Italy, who lead 1-0 thanks to Candreva's penalty after he had won the spot-kick himself on 27 minutes. It has been domination from the hosts, with Finland yet to shoot at Sirigu's goal.
FULL-TIME: Italy 2-0 Finland
De Rossi's second-half header made that a satisfactory evening for Conte's men as they end their Euro 2016 preparation with a second straight victory. Finland did not register a shot on target and were poor opposition on the night, but Italy did what they had to do and will be pleased to have got that second goal.
That concludes our live coverage of the match, thank you very much for joining us!
Italy, runners-up at Euro 2016, will certainly be hard to beat in France. They are rock-solid at the back, but this match and the previous outing against Scotland have still not answered the questions about their attacking play, with the lack of a proven striker and creative options likely to be issues against top opposition. They now turn their attention to a mouth-watering opening match at the tournament against Belgium.
